  I was recently the maid of honour in a wedding and we hired Lyana to do the hair and make-up for myself and the other two bridesmaids. Originally the bride was going to have her make-up done by Sephora and hair done by a friend but at the last minute she chose to have Lyana do her make-up instead. We chose Lyana based on her experience expressed through the wonderful portfolio pictures on her facebook page. I could tell right away that she was very good at what she does. We communicated solely over emails up until the wedding. Lyana was very easy to reach, she was always quick to respond to our emails, was able to answer all of our questions and was very accommodating to our needs. We even threw a few last minute changes her way (like location and having the bride's make-up done) and it was never a problem. She accommodated everything we asked.
  On the morning of the wedding, Lyana and her assistant arrived promptly as scheduled (always important for a wedding day). In no time at all they transformed us into the most beautiful expressions of ourselves. The quality of make-up she uses combined with her application techniques, gave us stunningly BEAUTIFUL looks that lasted all day and all night! Her hair designs were not only beautiful but creative and unique, like little works of art, that also held up throughout the day and evening without any problems. Not even so much as a loose pin.
  She seriously did such a good job, I would recommend her 100% of the time to anyone looking for a hair and/or make-up professional.
  Additionally, we have recently hired her again for my brother's upcoming wedding in August of 2015. Although I highly recommended Lyana, the bride made a different choice for herself and her bridal party, so instead I, my mom, and my aunts are going to be getting our hair and make-up done by Lyana and I couldn't be more excited :)

  Lyana made me feel extremely beautiful for my wedding photos. I received so many compliments as to how well done my make up was. I would definitely recommend anyone to get their make up done by Lyana. She was very friendly while doing my makeup and put so much time and effort into every last detail. Im very satisfied with how everything turned out and am glad that Lyana did my make up!

  Lyana is an amazing professional and an outstanding hair and makeup artist. Her and her team worked fast and with purpose to make the day go as smooth as possible.
  
  The hair and makeup was a huge hit at my vintage/pinup themed wedding. I wouldn't have changed anything, it all was so perfect, and everyone was breathtaking.

  Lyana did an amazing job with hair an makeup for myself and my two daughters for a gala event. the hair was perfect and the makeup was gorgeous - my daughters are young and looked incredibly natural and polished with makeup on!

In the past I've rarely had my hair or makeup done because I've always been disappointed with the results, but Lyana was absolutely AMAZING. I was completely WOWED by both my hair and makeup. She also did my mom's hair and makeup and I've honestly never seen her look so good. What she does is incredible. She takes the time to make sure you look absolutely perfect. She truly knows how to acheive the right make up and hair for your face and is able to accent all your features. I LOVE LOVE LOVE all my wedding photos because she made me look fabulous. If she's available for your event book her as soon as you can. She's worth every penny. I promise you won't be dissapointed. Now, I wish she could do my hair and makeup for every event but sadly I don't live in Calgary :(
