Amazing Quality, Amazing Vendor!

I've known Tauran for many years now and first became aware of what a great vendor he was from being a bridesmaid in a wedding he was shooting. He not only focused on the bride and groom, but also spent some time during the group shots ensuring every person in the wedding party was looking top-notch!

A few years later when it was my turn to walk down the aisle, I knew I wanted to ask Tauran to shoot our big day. From the beginning, Tauran was professional and attentive to all my concerns and needs. I didn't know artistically what I wanted, but Tauran was able to help navigate my thoughts and understand the feel of wedding photos I wanted. Tauran was very responsive to all emails and provided professional advice that was helpful to planning out the big day.

When the wedding day came, Tauran was prompt and helped make sure we would get the perfect shot while making sure we didn't miss a beat of our wedding day. He was so great at finding the shots and capturing the day that there were definitely moments where I forgot he was there! I am so glad I hired Tauran and the end results were spectacular.

Pro tip: We definitely recommend spending time with Tauran during an engagement session. It helped us both get comfortable with a camera in front of us and make the wedding feel natural!

Absolutely wonderful!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Tauran! We love all the photographs of our special day and feel like he captured not only the natural beauty of the venue but also the genuine expressions of us as a couple and our guests. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Tauran Has That Magic Touch!!

Tauran was referred to me by a family friend and I could not have been more pleased with his services!!! My wife and I booked his engagement and wedding package. Our deciding factor was his amazing end-product and willingness to work with our budget for an extensive wedding day!

From the way Tauran imitates poses for photos, I learned he is a warm, friendly, and fuzzy guy and it was amusing to watch him snuggle with his camera (a representation of the other party). He is very sociable and conversation was easily made with him. After all, one must feel comfortable to make the smiles for the camera happen!

For our engagement shoot, we told him of a few SoCal locations and ideas of what we wanted (nature/trees, structure, and Griffith Observatory) and Tauran planned it all into our limited time slot. But due to difficulty finding parking in certain areas and also Tauran's desire to capture the best photo, he went way beyond the time limit without question or hesitation! (Some of these photos are one of his highest loved on IG!) What amazed me was how he turned dark and dusky photos into photos fully beaming and bright as day! His photography coupled with his editing skills are on point!

On our wedding day, Tauran extended his services and stayed with us for 14 hours, and worked with our budget. It was a long day for him and my wife and I fully appreciate him. He captured so many memorable and candid moments for us to cherish. During our evening shoot, Tauran stood at an off-balanced angle for a perfect shot but accidentally slipped into a small creek and soaked his whole leg! He was able to capture one of the best photos of the evening prior to his slip. It's like making that game-winning half-court shot. Tauran is definitely clutch!

Tauran's turnaround time was prompt as agreed (we got married right in the middle of his busy season) but what wasn't expected was his gift of hard copies in a neat little wooden box and USB for Christmas.

Based on Tauran's character, work ethic, end product, and willingness to capture that perfect shot, my wife and I will most definitely refer him out to all potential clients!!!

Wholeheartedly Recommend

Tauran photographed three other weddings for friends, so we knew how amazing Tauran was to work with and had to have him for our own wedding. Our special day was chaotic with 300 people and having to move the ceremony indoors due to the weather. Tauran was a true professional and did a great job helping manage the group and capture all of the group photos we wanted, while keeping calm and lighthearted. He even braved the rain for us so that we could get a few shots alone outside before it really started pouring. We are so happy with how our pictures turned out and highly recommend him to anyone who needs their precious moments captured!

Tauran and his team were a slam dunk and made our photography and videography experience exceptional. He was referred by a friend and he traveled far for my wedding on one day and for my Chinese banquet in another city the next day. Tauran was truly a 5-star professional photographer and we were extremely glad to have him cover our wedding. It was so much fun working with him. He was full of energy and helped us relax during the whole session, and we love how he showed us all those poses by himself. The photos came out really nice as well. And his photo-editing is really at pro level, which made the final product breathtaking. He is really an artist. Awesome!!!! During the shoot, we weren’t sure about some of the things he wanted to do. But he said, “trust me, it’ll be good”. And man, he was right! The pictures came out amazing. He has quite the eye. Tauran is easy to work with and very flexible. The only thing is that he is very busy. So if you can get him, I highly suggest you book him right away. We got lucky in that his only available slot worked out ok for us.

Tauran far exceeded my expectations as our wedding photographer! I had high ones to begin with too (based on his website and recommendations from others) so that's saying a lot. Tauran arrived early on the wedding day, was very professional, had a great personality for crowd control. He made our wedding day stress free and fun. As a bride, it's not just the pictures alone but how the day progresses and the photographer can really set the tone for the day. That's really important. Tauran knew exactly when to step in but knew also how to give us the freedom to enjoy special moments together as a couple. He was so fun to work with! I highly recommend him.... his pictures and work stand alone and are top notch as you can see, but his personality and how easy he is to work with really shined on the day of the wedding. The bonus is you'll get amazing and beautiful pictures that captures your day! You won't regret hiring Tauran.

BTW if you are considering using his photobooth, that is a no brainer. That was the highlight for our guests and they had so much fun with it. He will bring awesome props to allow your guests to have fun. It's a really high tech one and they can take their own pics.

Tauran has a calming effect to him - he puts everyone at ease around him, makes you feel comfortable and captures great shots. We were in a fairly tight schedule but the whole experience was fun and easy. He is very flexible, accommodating and efficient. He captured a lot of great candid and posed shots, a perfect balance for what we were looking for. We did many shots in a very crowded city yet he was able to secure amazing shots and helped manage crowds around us as well. He knows exactly what pose will come out best and guides you really well. We're so glad to have had Tauran as our photographer and a part of our wedding. We highly recommend him!

I've always admired Tauran's work and was so glad he was available to be our engagement/wedding photographer! Our photos were beautiful. He's quick to respond, personable and accommodating. We also received so many compliments for the Photo booth! Paper quality, lighting and props were great! Tauran stayed later than our contracted time, had someone man the booth and assist that day for us-all complimentary! Tauran is definitely worth the money, he captures everlasting memories of your one special day.

Tauran and his team are awesome! We were a bit skeptical given the state of the environments he had us shoot in, but he makes a dry, trashed, dead meadow turn into a beautiful field in his photos! He is responsive and fun to work with, as he will model the poses he wants you in. Such a blessing to have Tauran be part of our big day!!

Definitely worth the money and investment. We appreciated his down to earth and helpful nature. We weren't accustomed to posing and such but he helped us out a lot and our photos came out amazing both posed and candids from the day of. Highly recommended.

Not only does he has an eye for capturing the perfect photo, but he tells you exactly what poses and faces to make, which was exactly what we were looking for. Tauran is great to work with! Puts you at ease for pictures and on your big day! His photos are amazing - truly captures the moment. Videography was excellent as well - love the video captured by drone. Would recommend him and his team for any wedding and engagement photography and videography. Tauren was the perfect photographer for our wedding! He was so easy to work with and accommodated our needs above and beyond our expectations. We did both our engagement and wedding pictures with Tauren and the pictures blew us (and everyone we know) away. He perfectly captured the style and look I was going for in both shoots (one classy downtown LA and the other romantic chic garden wedding). He brought a calming effect to the wedding craziness and was very effective with the time we had to get as many shots as possible. We were so so lucky to have had Tauren as our photographer and we will cherish these images for the rest of our lives. We would highly recommend him to any and everyone!

Tauran was amazing! Not only did they take great photos but they were very professional and seemed like they have done this many times before. The wedding day was very stress free as they knew exactly what they were doing and exactly where they wanted to take the perfect shots (they scoped out the site ahead of time). Tauran was easy to work with and his work is amazing. He was flexible when we were trying to schedule our engagement session and returned photos in a timely manner. Although we did not request any adjustments to our package/pricing, he was flexible in our request for an alternative payment schedule, which was greatly appreciated. We requested more "natural" looking photos and he did capture the obligatory posed family/wedding party photos beautifully. He was professional and was able to catch many happy moments of our wedding without continually stopping us to "pose," giving us the opportunity to thoroughly enjoy our guests and reception. He also had a great assistant who helped with capturing different angles and beautiful details. Tauran was great in directing poses during our photo sessions and has a quirky, easy-going personality that helped put us at ease in front of the camera. His photos are nothing short of gorgeous and he gave us a set of very personal and real pictures... No wedding mill or cookie cutter work here.

Tauran is a great photographer to work with. He did my engagement and wedding pictures. Our engagement pictures were in SF. He flew up to take them for us and was super flexible with the length of the engagement pictures since we went to three locations. He's very engaging and funny and helped put us at ease when we were talking pictures and were great at showing us how to pose. During the wedding, he was super accommodating and his assistants were great. Everyone was super friendly. We also rented his Photo Booth and he was nice enough to let us go little over the time since people were still taking pictures. Overall, he's a great photographer to work with. Very responsive. We just received our pictures and they looked awesome! So glad my friend recommended him!

Words cannot express how impressed we were with Tauran's talent, kindness and flexibility. After seeing the wedding photos that Tauran shot for our mutual friend years ago, before we were even engaged, my husband and I already knew we wanted him as our photographer! My husband and I both loved his style and quality, and knew that he would be perfect for our destination wedding in Hawaii. He has such a warm and easy going personality. He is so easy to get along with as a friend and just as easy to work with as a photographer. For someone who is so busy and successful at what he does, I have no idea how he was able to be so flexible and accommodating with us. We had quite a few obstacles to overcome, including having to convince our venue to allow a non-preferred vendor to shoot our wedding, issues revolved around traveling to Hawaii, and having to pair him up with a second photographer who he had never worked with before! Throughout all of these setbacks, Tauran was SOOO helpful and adaptable, that it made our lives as stress-free as possible (where photography was involved) during the whole wedding planning process. Upon receiving our photos, I also noticed him taking the time out to touch up photos (beyond the usual post-processing that other photographers do) to ensure that they were perfect. All in all, we had a great experience working with Tauran and would definitely recommend him to anyone for their wedding! Thanks so much Tauran!

Tauran was excellent! We contacted him on short notice for our wedding that we organized in two weeks. He was able to organize and shoot my large family flawlessly. He's laid back, has a command of his craft and goes with the flow. The photos came out wonderfully. I would not hesitate to refer him to other brides and family for their events.

I'm writing this review 3 years late, but I felt compelled to finally write one! Tauran is AMAZING! I've seen so many different kinds of wedding photography since the wedding, and I still think Tauran is the best. My hubby and I were both nervous when we had to take our engagement photos, but Tauran made the whole experience fun and entertaining. He's definitely not afraid to strike a pose to show you what to do! On the day of the wedding, you barely even notice that Tauran and his assistant are around snapping. Then you receive your photos and you think "OMG! He was able to capture that?!" My photos are so stunning that I still look at them almost everyday, and we still receive compliments! Booking Tauran was the best decision I made for the wedding, and I'm so honored that some of our photos earned him some accolades!

My pictures turned out amazing! I absolutely loved them. Tauran is such a talented photographer. He was able to capture beautifully all the important moments and the emotions as well. I showed my slideshow to co-workers that didn't get to attend the wedding...they didn't watch it together but two co-workers told me the loved the photos and even started to tear up. That demonstrated how well Tauran was able to capture the moment. I HIGHLY recommend!

We got married last spring and Tauran did a fantastic job shooting our wedding! If you are considering Tauran and have checked out his website, it's self evident how beautiful his photos are and how talented he is. It was really important to us that our photos had a timeless quality and Tauran delivered them beautifully. Beyond that, Tauran was so easy to work with. As a hands on bride - from the engagement photos to the wedding - I was pretty specific in what mood and tone I had wanted with the photos and Tauran was happy to work with me on my vision and executed them perfectly. (He even brought a medium format film camera to our wedding without my asking for it ...and the film photos came out so warm and lovely. That was a real bonus for me!) Needless to say, he was punctual, responsive and professional. With so many vendors to juggle for the wedding, Tauran was really a peace of mind; I didn't have to worry about him once and I knew that we would have amazing pictures to remember the day of. We can't say enough good things about Tauran - even now, months after our wedding, I'm still checking out Tauran's blog because the pictures that he takes are so amazing.

As wedding photographers ourselves, we were very picky with who we chose to shoot our wedding. We wanted to find someone that we could trust as well as someone who would make shooting fun (since this was our chance to be in front of the camera). Tauran is that complete package. We knew we were getting quality photos and he knew how to make us feel comfortable and look great in front of the camera. He was always available whenever we had questions or needed him before the wedding day and did an amazing job day of. We highly recommend him as your wedding photographer!

Tauran was amazing. He is very experienced in wedding photography and was able to get all of the shots we expected for the wedding and much more. We didn't notice him while we were getting married but the photos showed he was everywhere. We were very pleased with the results and would not hesistate to recommend him to our friends.

We had the pleasure of having Tauran photograph our engagement and Maui wedding. I usually dont like taking pictures, but he made it so easy to just relax and have a good time. Not only is he extremely professional, he is so funny! The photos came out fantastic and better than I had hoped for!

People always say the photographer is the most important vendor for your wedding because you get to keep those photos forever. After working with Tauran, I understood how important that advice was for me. His pictures captured all the beautiful moments throughout the day and still have me and others oooh/ahh'ing over them. Tauran's photos are a representation of him as an artist. He sees beauty in things others don't notice and has an impeccable eye. He is professional, friendly, funny, and accommodating. Weddings are so stressful as it is, but I never had to worry about giving him grief or getting grief from him! He rolled with all the punches and made everything work! For example, during our wedding day photoshoot, we got kicked off of a college campus because we didn't request a permit to be there (we didn’t know we needed one!) It put me in a horrible mood and changed all my plans. But Tauran kept cool and calm and said we'll just drive around the area and find another place. The impromptu pictures ended up being my favorite pictures from the wedding because, again, Tauran was able to find beauty in things that I would haven't even have noticed! I can't say enough how wonderful he was and I have already recommended him to many friends who have all had the same experience. He is consistent, reliable, and just such an amazing person! You won't regret hiring him!

Tauran was wonderful to work with. Our wedding was really early in the morning, but he and his assistant were so accommodating and willing to work with the day's timeline. Tauran is very professional, yet laid back, very talented and has such a wonderful eye for capturing the most important moments of the day. From the engagement pictures, to the wedding day and finally receiving the wedding album, we did not have any regrets working with him and EVERYONE loves our pictures. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer to take part in one of the most important days of our lives.

Tauran did both our engagement and wedding photos for us in Sept 2007. We were extremely happy with our photos, but I've seen his recent work and he has become even better! He is easy to work with, extremely nice, and works with your budget. Go with Tauran and you won't regret it!

After having Tauran as our wedding photographer, we recommend him to all our friends. Tauran is easy going and wonderful to work with. He shot both our engagement session and the wedding and the photos turned out great. He has also been really patient with us in getting photos back to him for our wedding album.

Tauran was the best wedding photographer that I could have asked for! I knew about him through a few mutual friends and would recommend him to all my friends! He takes his time, you can tell that he loves his job, and he knows how to work with his subjects! He might not always be the most responsive over email, but be patient, he's a busy guy who spends a lot of time in his products. More importantly, he's always dependable which is what matters. He's open to suggestions and very flexible, but he also knows how to take the lead. My photos were absolutely stunning and I received SO many compliments on them. Through out the wedding day and even after, my friends and family kept commenting on how professional and hard working Tauran was! They were surprised at his exceptional work ethic and how much he cared, that says something! He captured the sweetest memories and the true joy of the wedding day!

Tauran is not just an amazing photographer, he is an artist. I don't know how he does it but he manages to take an average scenario and turn it into something beautiful! I was worried because it was raining like cray cray the day we were suppose to take our engagement photos ... but ... he worked his magic and made it work. We were so happy with our engagement pics - and you couldn't even tell we were being pelted with huge a$$ raindrops during the photoshoot! Hedoes a good job making you feel comfortable in front of the camera which is a huge plus. One thing I liked a lot about Tauran is that he doesn't recycle the same poses with all his wedding couples ... rather, I got the feel that he tries to understand the vibe & chemistry of each couple and create poses that work best for that particular couple. He was there from start to finish on our wedding day and captured some breathtakingly gorgeous photos of our wedding day ... that we will now forever have!!!

Tauran is an incredible photographer! Not only is his work product high quality, but he was so easy to work with. He gave us a lot of direction during our engagement and wedding pictures and they turned out looking out great. He really made the overall wedding process a lot less stressful because he is pretty flexible and accommodating. My husband and I definitely recommend him!

Tauran came highly recommended as a wedding photographer. My wife and I were so pleased with the quality of work he did. Our engagement photos are still ones we like to look at every so often, but it's the wedding day pictures that really stood out. Even in the most difficult situations (candle-lit only Japanese Garden in Long Beach), he and his assistants were able to capture the moment(s). One of the biggest selling points for us to hire Tauran was his laid-back and easy-going personality. He made us feel comfortable at all times and to have fun with it all. If you want someone creative, professional, flexible, and fun-going to capture your special day, Tauran is your man. Highly recommended!!! You won't go wrong with this investment. Tauran is the man. From seeing his portfolio, you can tell his work is different and unique than other wedding photographers. I think it helps to be a graphic designer as a photographer. They have a more stylish vision. Tauran was punctual and so flexible. He ran with us downstairs from the reception to the garden to take pictures with the firework show at Disneyland!! He is also super patient. Many times at the wedding, the videographer kept getting in his way but yet Tauran did not flinch, he just maneuvered his way around to take his shots. Thank you Tauran for everything!

Tauran was super easy to work with. We felt at ease with him right away and managed to get a great deal on a wedding package. I'm sure his prices will continue to go up, so book him now!

It was fun working with him both on the wedding day and for the engagement session. He is easy going and lots of fun. He demonstrates what poses to do and has an eye for good spots and great photos. We got a ton of compliments on our engagement photos and on the wedding photos we've gotten so far.

He is very busy, so sometimes it takes a few days or so to hear back, but he is very responsible and professional. He even managed to rush our wedding pictures so we could put some in our slideshow for our second reception. I'm excited to see the rest of the photos but he's definitely a great photographer and you will not be disappointed if you book him!

Kohl Mansion Wedding!

I researched a number of wedding photographers, and heard about Tauran through a friend that had a great experience with him. After looking at his portfolio, I was impressed with how he captured photos for engagement sessions and weddings, and the creativity with the scenery and poses.

On the day of the wedding, Tauran and his partner guided us and our bridal party with a number of poses, that came out great. He was very flexible in what my husband and I preferred, however was proactive in finding creative moments for us. I was especially happy with all the photos of my nieces and nephews, which were extra special for us and our family.

Tauran was very quick to provide us with our wedding images, with the retouched and full image gallery. I was impressed with how the lighting came out in our photos, and the softening of our images that came out beautifully. I highly recommend Tauran, as I found a high quality of service for a reasonable price. Thanks Tauran for the wonderful memories that were captured in our wedding photos!

This review is LONG overdue, but we honestly can't thank Tauran enough! We absolutely love our engagement and wedding day photos! :) Even though a wedding day can be such a blur, Tauran made us feel at ease and was an absolute pleasure to be around. He captured special moments that we will cherish forever!

Tauran is very talented and able to make any location look fantastic. It's helpful to do engagement photos with him as well, since you get a feel for how he instructs you to pose and his style of shooting prior to your big day, so you will know what to expect. He is flexible with his schedule, and will work to accommodate the needs of your wedding. For how highly regarded he is, he is also very reasonably priced.

Wonderful! Tauran is totally undercharging for his services.

Tauran's talent is undeniable. My Fiance and I are SOO excited to have booked him for our wedding. He is worth WAY MORE than what he is charging so hire him ladies before his fees go through the roof. Professional and friendly, his passion for his work is obvious when you meet him and so humble too.

I spent OODLES and OODLES of time scoping out photog blogs. I went on every wedding website you can think of trying to find a great photographer for a great price. After nearly six months of searching, we found him. Check out his work on his blog/website and it speaks for itself!!

on thee day of our wedding, hE was willing to get on his back, stretch , whatever it takes to get the shot. Our E-pics were fantastic! Best part is that he gives great direction (since i have no idea how to pose). he even demonstrated the moves for me!! i cant wait for our wedding photos! super easy going and his assistant Linda was great too.

Tauran delivered a beautiful set of wedding photographs for us! He was very easy to work with and really tries to let the couple be comfortable and do their own thing instead of telling them what to do/how to pose too much. He sent us our photo's within a week because we needed them for reception we were holding in another country! The only caveat I have is that he's super busy and so it was hard for us to schedule our engagement session. However, he came through and really delivered on the things we really prioritized. I think the best way to pick a photographer is to look through their portfolio and see who consistently creates images that you would want for your own.
