If you're thinking of a cake , or desserts of sorts for your wedding, this is a no brainer ! We've been a customer of Tasty Layers for atleast 10 years and everything we've ever purchased has been delicious and beautiful. We got married in October and without a doubt told my husband we have to get our cake from Tasty Layers. Everyone there is friendly, professional, they make gorgeous custom cakes that not only look amazing but they taste incredible! They work with you to make sure all your needs are met, are flexible. Work with your budget and make sure your vision comes to fruition. I was in tears when I saw our wedding cake , it was beyond what the sketch captured and we recieved so many compliments on how good the cake itself was. Our guests loved it. We can't thank them enough for making our day so much more magical with this beautiful cake! -

My husband and I were directed to Tasty Layers by our venue (Lapeer Country Club), and they were quite literally the icing on the cake for our wedding day. Their cakes and cupcakes are the best that my husband, myself, and many of our guests had ever tasted. We tried 6 different flavors (which were all incredible) and ultimately landed on their confetti cake with their classic buttercream frosting. I think about our wedding cake almost on the daily because it was that good, and we got so many sweet comments about how amazing our cake was at and after our wedding.
We live quite a distance a way from Tasty Layers, and they were so accommodating when it came to appointments and figuring out details. We were able to iron everything out remotely, which took an enormous amount of stress off our backs. Everyone we spoke with was extremely friendly, helpful and made our entire experience very pleasant!!
We would choose Tasty Layers over and over again - their cakes, their staff, everything was just perfect. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Tasty Layers absolutely exceeded all expectations for our wedding desserts and cake! The entire spread was not only visually incredible but tasted truly delicious. Absolutely Delicious Cupcakes
Our wedding day was our first time using Tasty Layers, and boy are we happy we did! They had been recommended to us by a friend, and we are so glad we chose them. There are so many varieties of cupcakes all for the same standard price, but they do offer a premium option as well. We heard all night from the guests how good the cupcakes were. Every single cupcake was gone! We did not get our wedding cake from here, but I really wish we did. We ended up choosing Walmart for our cake to try and save money, since it was only for cake cutting photos, and we didn’t even eat it. I wish we got our wedding cake from Tasty Layers, I can’t imagine how good it is considering how amazing the cupcakes were. -

We had such a wonderful experience working with TastyLayers for our wedding dessert table! They were incredibly easy to plan with and made the process smooth from start to finish. We chose a variety of cupcakes, cookies, chocolate-covered strawberries, and cannoli, and every single item was delicious. Our guests raved about the desserts and we received so many compliments.We also felt that their pricing was very reasonable for the quality and variety offered. Tasty Layers was 10/10!! we had a bit of a rogue idea to have 20 cakes at our wedding one on the center of each table! We wanted three different flavors, but we wanted all the cakes to look the same! All three of our flavors were incredible. Everyone was talking about how delicious the cakes were! But even beyond the taste of the amazing cakes, they looked so beautiful! Tasty layers came delivered all 20 cakes set them up on the cake stands and decorated them with the flowers for us! Delicious and beautiful I don’t know what else you could ask for! -

Wedding Desserts
Tasty Layers was amazing! We ordered our own wedding cake, some cupcakes, some cake truffles and brownies for our wedding desserts. By the end of the night, we only had a few cupcakes left. People couldn't stop talking about how yummy everything was. They even gave us a box for our wedding cake and several things to take leftovers home (though we had next to nothing left over)! We would highly recommend Tasty Layers. -

The best of the best!
Tasty Layers came highly recommended by our Venue for our wedding day. When we met with Tasty layers we planned out our dessert table which included mini cupcakes, cannolis, cookies, parfaits and our cutting cake. On top of all the flavors and choices available through tasty layers, I asked if it was possible to create a cupcake for our wedding that is new to them. They immediately said yes to try and create a bourbon ball cupcake for us. We dropped off bourdon balls for them to try and they created a cupcake that was a huge hit at our wedding. Tasty Layers went above and beyond to create a cupcake to bring a little Kentucky to our Michigan wedding. People were raving about the desserts for days from our wedding. Tasty Layers has a customer for life because not only are their desserts amazing the team is so kind, creative, and willing to go the extra mile. I highly recommend Tasty Layers to anyone who wants delicious desserts for any occasion! Thank you so much for making incredible desserts for our day! -

Tasty Layers is an absolute must bakery for any occasion! They have practically every flavor and filling under the sun. The possibilities are endless! They were wonderful to work with. Exactly what I envisioned
Tasty Layers brought my wedding cake vision to life, down to the flower placement and direction of the frosting! The staff was very responsive and knowledgeable throughout the process. I did a consultation with Stephanie who really took care to note all the details I wanted for the cake. She was very kind and personable but more importantly knows what she is doing and was able to advise on how much cake we would need for our guests and answer my questions about flavors and textures. Tasty layers was also able to rent us a cake stand that matched the cake perfectly. We ended up getting a 3 tier cake (6”, 9”, 12”) with two layers of vanilla raspberry and one layer of fudge with chocolate whipped + buttercream, and we got two 9x13 kitchen cakes (one in each flavor) as well. -

Delicious!
Tasty layers provided cupcakes and a 2 tier cake for our wedding. We received endless compliments about how delicious the cupcakes were. We had 3 different flavors (cherry chip, white cake with raspberry filling, and chocolate with white frosting). All of the cupcakes were eaten so fast! Highly recommend Tasty Layers! -

Beautiful and tasty wedding cake!
My now husband and I came in to the shop with limited ideas of how we wanted our wedding cake to look; all we had decided was white icing, blue accents, maybe some greenery. They worked with us and asked questions to help design a beautiful cake for us. The day of I was amazed at just how beautiful their vision was when brought to life. We ended up with a small two tier cake and picked Blue Moon cake and icing for the top tier, and strawberry cake with lemon icing for the bottom tier. We were too excited to try both to save any, and with how yummy it is I think we made the right call! We plan to return for a cake at our anniversary and I’m excited for it. -

BEST desserts and service!
My husband and I used Tasty Layers for our wedding cake and guest desserts. We had MANY compliments on our guest desserts (cookies, cake pops, chocolate covered strawberries, etc.) and our wedding cake for just the two of us was also delicious! Not to mention the display was gorgeous! If we had any questions along the way Tasty Layers was quick to respond and easy to work with and accommodate our wishes. I would recommend them again and again for any yummy treats! -

Once we decided to lock in our baker, they sat down in a one on one with us to make sure that our desserts were exactly what we were looking for! Working with Tasty Layers was such a treat (no pun intended)! They really meet my needs and customized the cake along with the desserts I ordered. They set up the dessert table beautifully and the guests loved the desserts, especially the chocolate covered bacon! that's a must-have! My only concern was that the center part of our 3-tiered wedding cake was too dark of a purple that it almost looked like a navy-black color. It wasn't what I wanted/expected but I don't think anyone else noticed that but me. -

Literally so good!
So we chose this place because of the location mostly in the beginning; we wanted a place close to the venue. We saw their work on social media & we were just in shock of how good of a job they did. We had an appt, tried their cupcakes & we were like, this is it. Their cupcakes and cake were SO good! They exceeded our expectations for sure. My husband even loved it & he is SUPER picky on food, especially cake. They communicated with us so well. The payment process was so smooth, we were able to PayPal them the money instead of driving close to a hour to pay them. I couldn’t have asked for a better bakery to make our wedding cake & cupcakes. They all turned out awesome!! Not the mention the price was very reasonable! We definitely recommend them. -

Wedding Cake and Cupcakes
I hired Tasty Layers to provide desserts for my wedding. Our guest were blown away by the professional presentation and delicious taste of the cake and cupcakes! I ordered 220 cupcakes (with 150 guests) and left the wedding with only 6 extra. I had too many people to count come up to me and mention how amazing the dessert was! They were so easy to work with and had everything organized for me without a lot of back and forth. I will definitely order from them again in any event I would do (or for some tasty desserts around the house!). Thank you, Tasty Layers! -

Beyond happy with both intricate design, flavors, and service
We absolutely LOVED working with Tasty Layers. They helped guide us through the decision-making process (we didn't know much about wedding cakes) and were extremely friendly and communicative throughout the process. We absolutely loved our service! Stephanie was wonderful! She helped us create our vision, and way below our budget! They even delivered to our venue without issues, which was roughly an 1.5 away from their location. The cake(s) we’re so delicious! Moist but not wet, crumbly but not at all dry, the frosting melted in your mouth and the fillings were perfection! Our decor on the cake always exactly what we wanted. We had consults with a few other bakeries before we went to tasty layers, and we were hooked immediately after finding them! Save your self the trouble of searching for cake places because Tasty Layers is who you want! -

Beautiful & delicious cake!
We ordered our wedding cake from Tasty Layers & it was beautiful & soooo delicious! Tasty Layers made exactly what I was envisioning come to life! We provided our favorite donuts & some greenery to be placed on the cake at delivery. & The Tasty Layers employee that delivered it did such an amazing job placing everything! It was BEAUTIFUL & we received so many compliments. On top of that it was DELICIOUS!! Seriously so good. 10/10 will always recommend Tasty Layers to a friend. -

Best tasting wedding cake ever!
We wanted a wedding cake with unique flavors. Tasty layers provides unique and delicious seasonal flavors. We were able to get fall themed cake and filling flavors for our October wedding. All of our guests raved about how good the cake was! They created a beautiful cake even better than my inspiration photos! Just beautiful
Doing a vintage travel themed wedding I knew my cake had to incorporate a map of the world. I showed them some examples of what I liked and they matched it perfectly. The colors went beautiful with my color scheme.
We had champagne cake with strawberry chiffon filling and it was delicious. All the guests were talking about how yummy the cake was. -

I kid you not we did not have one cupcake left over! (Which was our goal). I asked for a wedding cake that would typically need to be made using fondant but I wanted buttercream. The cake designer took on the task & made my cake absolutely perfect! I'm waiting on the photographer to send us our pictures & then I'll post a picture of my stunning cake. All the guests continued to comment on how delicious it tasted! Other vendors quoted me over double what Tasty Layers charged me. I was very pleased with everything! I will be using this company for many years to come. The cupcakes were absolutely delicious & beautiful as well.
