Tasty Layers is a great company to get your treats and use for your wedding cake. Not only is this a great local company in Flint, but the cupcakes and cakes and flavors are too die for! My husband and I just got married on October 24 2009 and used Tasty Layers. We had vanilla cupcakes and strawberry filling, along with carrot cake and cream cheese filling, cupcakes had a buttermilk frosting. It was great! Many compliments from our guests. Highly recommend Tasty Layers for any event you might be having. Professional, flexible and really great to work with. It was one thing I didn't have to worry about the day of my wedding :) GREAT JOB!

The cake was wonderful, the desgin was exactly as planned. We more than enough cake for our guests and also had an additional grooms cake. At the end of the night the only cake left was our top layer for saving and maybe 5 pieces...that is proof alone that the cake was delicious. I will highly recommend your services to anyone who is looking for a wedding cake or a cake for any special occasion. THANK YOU

Rhonda does beautiful cakes! We received many, many comments on how beautiful our cake was. She also provides many flavor combinations that taste fantastic as well. We chose banana cake with banana cream filling and white cake with raspberry filling. Obviously they were a big hit, because we had NO cake left at the end of the evening!

Rhonda is Amazing! I was immediately impressed with her professional tasting. She asked me ahead of time for cake and filling flavors I was interested in and had individual frosted cakes prepared for me to taste. All her flavors are delicious but she also has unusual/unique flavors like butter pecan with caramel filling and spice cake with french apple filling that fit perfectly with our fall-themed wedding. Our guests raved about the cake and smuggled it home! Two thumbs up!
Rhonda also made fall leaves and frogs out of fondant for us which was a great personal touch that people are still talking about :)

thank you Rhonda. My wedding was in Flint,MI and I lived in Nashville,TN. Rhonda was very helpful with me being a long distance bride. She accommodated our needs and schedule very well. The cake was beautiful and OMG delicious. The cake we tasted during the cake tasting was nothing compared to our actually cake. Everyone at reception talked about how delicious our cake was. I actually had a friend text me while on our honeymoon asking where was the left over cake. We plan to use Tasty Layers for every event from now on.

Cake was beautiful, and delicious! We had a five tier cake plus two kitchen cakes incorporating a total of four different flavor combinations. She made our top-heavy cake topper stay upright the whole time too. We received many compliments from our guests on how good the cake looked and tasted. We're already planning on having a replica of our top layer made for our anniversary next year. We would definitely recommend Tasty Layers.

Tasty layers was very professional during our price quotes and tasting, and offered a good value for the product. Unfortunately, even though I asked for a more detailed drawing of the cake than what we described during our first visit I never received one. As a result my cake was not the masterpiece I had envisioned. On my wedding day the cake ended up only basically resembling what I had requested. I was and am very disappointed with how it turned out. I recommend either checking constantly on the design to make sure it is what you want, or going to another decorator if you are looking for a cake that has a lot of design and detail.

When I initially saw the cake my mouth dropped. It was BEAUTIFUL and exactly what we wanted. The grooms cake was quite great also. Then, after we cut and shared the cake with each other for photos, we stood there for about 2 minutes shocked at how great it tasted. It was the most delicious cake we had ever tasted. Although our awkward "pause" was not expected or planned, it was understood by all once they too tasted this yummy cake. Thank you Rhonda, for helping to make our wedding fabulous!

WOW WOW WOW!!!! We had 10 different cakes, 10 different flavors and designs...absolutely fabulous. I received a zillion compliments and the camoflage fondant one...WAY COOL!!! Rhonda was such a blessing! She not only helped us design my dream wedding cake she also designed my future husband's dream groom cake. The cakes were delicious and all of our guests complimented the cakes. If you are looking for a beautiful and delicous cake for a resonable price Tasty Layers is for you! Rhonda provided a fabulous cake tasting for us and was very helpful especially with my food allergies. As a person who has food allergies, it was so nice to be able to eat a delicous cake that all could enjoy.

Rhonda was such a pleasure to work with and one of my most favorite vendors! Our wedding cake turned out beautiful and tasted awesome. People were waiting in line to get a piece of the chocolate with peanut butter filling and there wasn't any left at the end of the night. Her prices are very good. I checked several other bakeries and tried samples and Tasty Layers by far had the best tasting cake and most reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

My cakes were so good and they came out exactly as I wanted! Rhonda was great to work with. Her prices are good, the cake is good, and she made exactly what I wanted. I would recommend her to all my friends and family. She made my damask wedding cake and our groomsman UofM cake. We got comments on how good they were all night!
