This is honestly, hands down, the best cake I’ve ever tasted!! I hate whipped frosting, but trusted her anyways. Went to the cake tasting and boy oh boy I’ve never tasted anything so delicious! The cake literally melts in your mouth. The whipped frosting is so light, it compliments the moist cake so well, making the cake not dense at all. She cares about more than just providing you a cake. With the shutdown, I came to the mall to see if the jewelry store was open and it wasn’t, and she told me she would call me when the store opened so I didn’t have to drive back up there! My experience with Susan was nothing short of amazing.

The cake was absolutely delicious and the flavor choices we had to choose from were vast. Susan helped us decide on size and flavors as well as loaning us a fun tablecloth to help showcase the cake.Susan's Sugar & Spice's reply:

The cake is so good, literally at the tasting we could have went with all of the flavors if that was an option.
Our cake was pina colada and it was amazing. We also did mini cupcakes and had zero left because they were that good.

We met Susan at the Today’s Bride show at the IX center. Her moist cake and wide variety of flavors sold us, she had the best cake in the joint! We had a small cake for cutting that turned out amazing, as well as cake squares in several different flavors. I definitely recommend Susan for any event! -

Absolutely delicious!!! She does not do fondant but she makes beautiful cakes without that nasty layer! Will use her again in the future for other events! -

User2447852 Sent on 11/30/2015We found Susan at a bridal show, and her cake samples were delicious. My mom and I met with her for a consultation and sampling, where we got to sample six different flavors. I took some home to my fiance (who doesn't like sweets), and when he said, "Yum," I knew we had found our cake vendor. We met with her before our wedding and picked our flavors and design. We only had a vague idea of what we wanted for our design, but Susan interpreted our ideas and designed a beautiful cake that met all of our expectations. I wish I could say the cake tasted great, but other than the piece my husband and I cut, I never ate a piece! However, our guests raved about the cake, and it was gone, so I'll call that a good sign! The only problem we encountered was that apparently we received the wrong middle layer -- we had requested lemon/raspberry, but our guests told us it was a different flavor. Everyone still loved it, so no harm done, as we were the only ones who knew the cake flavor was wrong. -
User2554014 Sent on 03/15/2016We booked this company at the end of last year and at the beginning of February there was a message posted on her site she was no longer making cakes which i just saw last week. We never received communication that she was stopping her business for the year and we instead saw it on facebook. She said she'd contact the couples whom she was making wedding cakes for directly but it is now march and we have yet to hear from her and don't know what to do. If you were temporarily stopping your business even if it was for family obligations you should call your customers directly right away so they can make alternate plans and not let them find out in a facebook wall post after trying to call you for days. There's nothing more unprofessional then finding a business is closing for the year on facebook when you paid them money for their services and they never called you.
