  I DJ at this venue more than anywhere in Highlands county. Last year it was over 20 events; more this year. Megan and her staff are clearly the most professional and organized around. The venue is beautiful and the least restrictive as far as how you can decorate and setup compared to almost any that I have ever worked with in my 15 years in business.

  We just recently had our wedding here 2 weeks after a hurricane hit in September. They made sure EVERYTHING was ready to go for our big day and that we didn't have to worry about anything. By far the most accommodating venue we could find (and trust me we looked at a ton). The staff was amazing...so friendly, professional and hard working. Highly recommend! They made our wedding extra special and exactly what we wanted.

  I am so glad to have chosen the Island View Restaurant for my wedding and reception. The day of the event it poured and we had to move the ceremony inside. They were so accommodating and professional in making sure nothing skipped a beat. The food was amazing and Megan was so helpful! I could not have asked for a better experience, just better weather.

  Sun N Lakes was a beautiful venue for our wedding reception at a decent price. Megan did a wonderful job working with me with planning a Florida wedding from Virginia. She also did a great job facilitating a meeting with me about seating charts and arrangements. The only issue we had with this venue is some confusion about the orignial price we had decided on. However, within a few minutes or clarity, Megan awarded us the price that we had decided on originally, which I was so thankful for. Our venue was only $500, but since then I think they have changed the price to over $1000. Still, a beautiful venue for the price and great service! They also offer catering.
