    Kristin with Stephanie Rose Events was INCREDIBLE to work with. We realized very quickly that a wedding planner was the way to go and were lucky to have her. Both my wife and I are busy people, not much extra time to spend on the large amount of details that require attention during the wedding planning process. We didn't know Kristin prior to our wedding planning, friends of ours referred her to us because they had such a great experience and raved about how much time, energy, and money she saved them. We believe she's exceptionally priced for the value and peace of mind she brought us.
    The Day of our Wedding she was very impressive, she was extremely organized and it as obvious. She is very calm and collective under pressure, she makes it work, and allowed us to relax and completely enjoy our wedding day. We consider her a friend and are thankful for everything she has done. Thank you Kristin, you are truly great at what you do and it's greatly appreciated.

    Kristin is a fantastic wedding planner! My fiance and I really had no idea where to start especially here in San Diego where there are so many vendors to choose from.It is quite overwhelming. Kristin was able to guide us through all the madness by connecting us to amazing vendors once she heard our vision and what we were hoping for on our big day. Since Kristin was with us from day one, we really had nothing to worry about the month/week/day of except for being the center of attention. She handled every detail. I highly recommend Kristin. She stays on top of everything and is very responsive. She encourages you to ask questions! We could not have been happier with how our wedding turned out!

    Kristin Watkins was amazing for our wedding this past July. We live in LA so having a planner based in San Diego was important. At our 1st meeting, Kristin raised the bar. What we really loved is that she didn't save all her great ideas and tips for when we hired her. She later sent a follow up email w/referrals of vendors and other ideas off our meeting. We wanted to hire her on the spot but gaking other meetings showed us how much more Kristin understood us as a couple and our vision. We hired her 6 months before our wedding and although she wasn't contracted to start with us until a few months before, she would check in on our progress w/our wedding projects. It was great to have an expert to bounce ideas off of and ask about wedding protocol, etc. She was key in getting a wedding rehearsal at our venue the day before our wedding. The venue had other events scheduled on the day we needed and Kristin was a lifesaver in making this happen since we had a large bridal party. Kristin was quick to respond and was very accessible for meetings. She coordinated everything w/our vendors. No matter how much time you think you have to prepare and plan for a wedding, there is ALWAYS a lot more things to do right before the wedding. We decided to have a photo booth at the last sec and she referred us to a great vendor.

    Cut to the big day and Kristin was so on her game. By the time we got to our venue, everything was perfect, she was there w/a smile on her face and the calm energy we needed. She was quick on getting us and our bridal party in order for our grand entrance, friendly to all our family and guests, especially to our parents. She also kept track of our gifts, money envelopes and the wrap out. Our wedding had a lot of moving parts and because of her, we were able to have the wedding of our dreams. If you are looking for the ultimate planner for your wedding or any event, she should be at the top of your list! Hire her, you won't regret! Thank you so much Kristin!!

    My wife and I hired Kristin as a our "Month of" Coordinator for our wedding this past July. When we first started planning for our wedding, my wife was a bit hesitant to hire a coordinator because it was yet another expense. However, after our wedding we both definitely agreed on the value of having Kristin Watkins take away a lot of the stress and handle some of the behind the scenes chaos for us. She was absolutely what we needed.

    Leading up to the wedding she created our timeline and made sure that all of our vendors were on the same page. When our wedding day arrived, everything ran smoothly and she ensured that everyone was on schedule. We had an amazing day and we are so grateful to have Kristin be a part of our special day.

    We want to give the highest possible recommendation for Kristin Watkins of Stephanie Rose Events to anyone that is in need of a wedding coordinator. We look forward to recommending her to our engaged friends.

    Kristin of Stephanie Rose Events was a DREAM to work with! As an event planner by trade, I was a bit hesitant to bring on a wedding coordinator to help with the planning of our April wedding. Boy, I'm glad I did - Kristin is a natural at the design, decor, and implementation of events. Her attention to detail is second to none and it is evident that she will do anything to ensure that the wedding is absolutely perfect. She has connections and relationships with the best vendors in San Diego and as a local San Diegan, is an expert at navigating the city! Kristin's specialty is working with parents of the bride and groom to ensure they feel invested and a part of the planning process. She has the innate ability to know exactly what to say to ensure everyone is happy and appreciated. She created a wedding that I could never have envisioned- it was better than my dreams!

    Kristin Watkins of Stephanie Rose Events helped us plan and coordinate our private wedding ceremony on March 30, 2013 and two reception events on April 6, 2013. I can highly recommend Kristin; she was professional, responsible, thoughtful, patient, friendly, and worked very well with multiple vendors and professionals to create three events that surpassed our every expectation. She provided very good vendor recommendations, task lists, and reminders, and helped make it easy for us to relax and enjoy our events.

    You would be hard-pressed to find someone more committed to making your wedding day perfect. Stephanie Rose Events was more concerned about flawlessly pulling off our weddin than we were. They kept their eye on the ball every step of the way, continually reminding us of our timeline and keeping vendors in check. We arrived on our wedding day with the least amount of anxiety possible. Feel lucky you have this team on your side.

    We could not have asked for a more perfect coordinator. Kristin was phenomenal. We hired her last minute as a day-of coordinator and she jumped right in. It was a seamless transition and we were SO thankful for her help. She developed a day-of time line, gathered contact info for all vendors and bridal party, emailed the timeline and contact info to the entire bridal party, confirmed all vendors the week-of, and beautifully coordinated all of the day-of details. Like I said, we couldn't have asked for more. Kristin was an amazing blessing! She is extremely organized and efficient, and a pleasure to work with. HIGHLY recommend her to all future brides.

    Absolutely an amazing engagement planner. I know I put engagement party, that was the closest category I could find. She was perfect in every aspect. I went a little over budget, but it was worth it!

    Not helpful and kept our deposit

    I used Kristin as a two-month coordinator and then was forced to postpone my wedding due to the outbreak of COVID-19. During the two weeks that she was "on," Kristin was argumentative and patronizing. She added more stress than she removed. Kristin did not offer to help with postponing the wedding at all, simply informed us she was unavailable on our new date. She certainly did not make herself valuable or help us during this stressful time. I DO NOT recommend her. Oh yeah, and after this excellent service, she kept our deposit.

    *Update: Kristin, I did reach out to you and try to discuss my dissatisfaction with you and your service multiple times. You never offered to help postpone my wedding, you urged me to move forward with bizarre modifications that would ruin the integrity of the event. I did not "resort" to writing a bad review or take the review lightly. I know it impacts your business.
    But after I postponed my wedding nearly two weeks ago, and I saw how all of my other vendors handled this situation with grace and respect, I felt that it was my responsibility to let other brides know what kind of service they are getting when they hire you. You only have 5 star reviews, yes, but those are from weddings you coordinated 5 year ago (or more). Someone needed to give the other side of the story and speak to your recent service.

    It is extremely stressful to be planning a wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially when your wedding needs to be postponed due to CDC regulations. You were caught right at the beginning of the social distancing orders when everything was changing so quickly.
    We first met in August 2018. I met with you, your fiancee and your mom. You liked my 60 day coordination package because it included a custom wedding planning roadmap and vendor recommendations now and then coordination beginning 60 days before your wedding. I discounted the rate for you so you could stay within budget. You paid a $500 deposit to save the date and start the planning.
    The day after your mom signed the contract in August I created and sent you your custom wedding panning roadmap as contracted.
    In September, you asked for vendor recommendations for hair, makeup, lounge furniture, reception chairs, videographer, and balloon design. I provided trusted recommendations for all of those categories.
    You were stressed about the lounge furniture. In September we shared 37 emails and 2 phone calls about lounge furniture. This is all before the 60 day coordination package was contracted to start .
    Then I met with you again in January because your maid of honor was in town to discuss wedding details. Again, before the 60 day package had even started. I provided thoughtful, professional service for months and I never received anything but positive feedback from you.
    Then, 60 days before your wedding, you sent me all of your vendor contracts, which I reviewed and started contacting vendors with questions and clarifications. You asked me to stop working as you were stressed about the coronavirus, which I did. I next received a 1 sentence email from you "We’ve changed the wedding date to New Year’s Eve. Just FYI. " You did not ask me if I was available that date, and unfortunately I am already booked. It is impossible for me to work your wedding when I am already booked. I sent you a recommendation for another wedding planner that I trust.
    It is accurate that I kept the $500 deposit as I had already spent 8 months working on your wedding. According to our contract, I was entitled to the remaining amount as well since we were within 60 days of your wedding date. However, due to the coronavirus situation and the amount of stress you were under, I did not charge you anything additional.
    I do feel badly that you had to change your wedding date and I understand that you are stressed because of it. In my nearly 20 years of planning weddings, I have never had one review below 5 stars on any site. I am disappointed that you had this experience and hope that your rescheduled wedding will be everything you want it to be.
