Working with Sparkle Photography for Ballet West’s Spring Soirée the past two years has been an absolute joy. Sarah has an incredible ability to capture not only the major moments of an event, but also the tiny details and atmosphere that make these evenings magical. From the set up on stage to the cocktail reception to the final dance in the after party, her photography told the complete story of the event with elegance and artistry.
We were especially struck by her ability to photograph our dancers. She captured the beauty, athleticism, and movement of ballet within the intimate setting of the evening.
Beyond her talent behind the camera, she was professional, thoughtful, collaborative, and wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. We are so grateful for the stunning images she captured of these special evenings and would work with her again without hesitation. -

We had the best experience with Sarah for our destination fall mountain wedding! She had the perfect energy to put us at ease since posing does not come natural to us. I was stressed and frazzled when Sarah arrived on the day-of the wedding, but after a few minutes alone with her and my fiancé, I felt better and started to enjoy the day! We are so impressed with our photos - She captured the beautiful mountain setting and the fall leaves perfectly! I could not recommend her enough! -

a true JOY to work with!
Sarah is the absolute BEST! I cannot recommend her enough. We had the pleasure of her shooting our wedding day and she is such a joy to work with. Neither my husband or I are big on having our pictures taken but Sarah made it so enjoyable. She really listens to your wants prior to your wedding or session and shows up in the ways you ask her too. I wanted a photographer who made me feel relaxed and comfortable and Sarah far exceeded expectations. She’s the sweetest person too and everyone loved her. Not to mention her work is incredible and she turned our pictures around so quickly after the wedding. Another amazing note to mention is that we used Jared Wortley as our videographer and Sarah has worked several weddings with him before. You would’ve thought they were on the same team, they worked flawlessly together. 10/10 can’t recommend her enough -

Where do I begin?! We had the absolute pleasure of working with Sarah as our wedding photographer, and we couldn't feel luckier. From the moment we met her, it was clear that she was not just a talented photographer but also someone who genuinely cared about making our special day even more extraordinary.
Sarah went above and beyond to get to know us as a couple before the big day, taking the time to understand our vision, go thru our Pinterest board and set up a zoom.
I mentioned that I really wanted a “vintage backdrop” to take pictures on. I didn’t bring it up again… but as I finish getting ready on the "big day" and we walked out to start photos, Sarah had the backdrop waiting for me! It was beyond thoughtful and her dedication to making my dreams come true was SO extraordinarily meaningful.
One of the things that truly sets Sarah apart is her incredible attention to detail. She left no stone unturned and captured every single shot we had in mind, even going the extra mile to get a picture with me and my godparents (it was the last one on "the list" and she made sure to get it!). It is a picture I’ll cherish forever.
Sarah's flexibility was also a lifesaver during our wedding weekend. We decided last minute to have her shoot our welcome party on Friday (THANK GOD - great investment and SO happy I have pictures from that event!). She also brought in a second photographer on short notice for Saturday who seamlessly integrated with the day. Her calmness made the whole experience so so lovely.
My husband and I aren’t “naturals” in front of the camera. But the photographs she captured are nothing short of breathtaking. We felt completely at ease working with her and taking pictures with her (our first look, etc. before the ceremony) was such a highlight of our day. It was intimate, fun and creative.
I would choose Sarah over and over again if we could. Her passion, dedication, and talent as a photographer are truly exceptional, and we are beyond grateful she agreed to be a part of our weekend. Thank you, Sarah, for making our wedding memories so incredibly beautiful and timeless. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking to work with a beautiful human who is also a TOP-notch wedding photographer. XOXO -

Sarah’s stunning photography is what first grabbed our attention, but we never could have hoped to have worked with a photographer who is such a lovely person, as well! Meeting her for the first time was almost like seeing an old friend, and she did an absolutely stunning job of capturing both our welcome dinner and wedding day. Sarah sent a few photos of the welcome dinner to me that night, and I was absolutely blown away and couldn’t wait for the wedding photos to follow! I wanted a photographer who would capture the joy and love of our wedding weekend, and Sarah did all that and more. She made our family and entire bridal party feel so calm and comfortable, taking control when she needed to but never pushing anything on us. Even in the chaos of a million family photos, we could feel Sarah’s grounding presence and it was very much appreciated! Is it normal to tell your wedding photographer that you love her after..? Because that's exactly what happened... We LOVE Sarah and cannot imagine having worked with anyone else for our wedding in Serre Chevalier, France. First of all, we called her only a few months before our ON SKIS mountain wedding and she dropped everything, grabbed her ski stuff and made it happen for us. Second, her energy is unmatched. You are instantly comfortable. She is calm/cool/collected yet you feel her excitement and care for you. And last but most important, the memories, moments and details she captures are STUNNING. I still don't know how she was in all the important places at once. It will forever blow our minds. She is complete MAGIC. Sarah you are truly one-of-a-kind. Thank you for being with us. OUIHAW! -

Sarah was such a pleasure to work with! She was always willing to hop on a phone call prior to the wedding, and assisted in creating our timeline. We chose not to do a first look, and she was very reassuring that we would still be able to get all the pictures that we wanted. After our ceremony, we were actually waiting on someone at the venue to take us to the location for photos - Sarah didn't waste any time and had us take pictures while we were waiting, and they even wound up being some of my favorite! She also took the time to learn about any other special things we wanted captured - whether it was heirlooms for detail shots or special family members during the reception.

Forever grateful for the talents of Sparkle Photography!
First, Sarah traveled all the way to a small town in France and photographed three days of event at different venues. And the photos…. Absolutely gorgeous! Sarah completely captured the essence and the spirit of these celebrations. Sarah Baltz of Sparkle Photography is the best wedding photographer you can possibly find, for a celebration local to Utah or a destination wedding far from there. Sarah's abilities to perfectly capture love between a bride and groom, laughter, happiness, beauty, joy within an extended family, candid moments amongst wedding guests, beautiful landscapes, and all of the details that go into wedding events are second to none. Sarah's work is awe inspiring. I simply can't say enough good things about Sarah Baltz - she's talented, creative, confident, kind, caring, good natured, energetic, enthusiastic and all the while calming and grounding. Sarah is a relationship builder. Sarah is incredibly organized, on time, polite, professional and her temperament and interpersonal skills really showed leading up to our wedding, and carried us throughout a weekend full of events going on. My husband and I hosted our wedding on October 1, 2022 at Sundance Mountain Resort in Utah. We live in Southern California, so we needed a destination wedding photographer. My husband and I got connected with Sarah (via a referral form our wedding coordinator) and ultimately invited Sarah to take photos at our Rehearsal Dinner, Welcome Drinks, Wedding Ceremony and Reception, all of which events occurred at Sundance Mountain Resort. Sarah hit everything out of the park, captured everything perfectly and beautifully, and impressed us (as a person and photographer) every single step of the way -- in the days and weeks leading up to our wedding weekend, during the events themselves, and in the days following our wedding.
I'll always cherish our time working with Sarah, the photos she beautifully captured, and the new friendship I have with her. We can't say enough good things about her, she went above and beyond for us and we'll always be grateful for Sarah Baltz! -

Sparkle Photography - LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Sarah was an absolute DREAM to work with! After an initial meeting in Jan-21, we fell in love with her photos and her warm/calm energy so we hired her immediately for our Feb-22 celebration. Since this was our sequel wedding, we asked her for ideas to capture the charm of Park City, our 'adventure' theme, and all the fun/less-traditional details for the celebration. She far exceeded our expectations in crafting the perfect couples shoot on Main Street, shot list/plan for the ceremony and after party, and even skiing with us to start the ceremony. She made us feel at ease throughout the entire planning process so that we could let loose and be ourselves. We are so in love with how beautifully she captured the love and joy from our special weekend and definitely look forward to working with her again for future family celebrations! -

Sarah was a great choice for our wedding. My husband and I are pretty laid back and we get tired of too many photos and she knew the right times to step back while also getting all the shots we needed. The perfect mix of candid and posed. I honestly didn't know Sarah was there until she was right next to me congratulating me! She was so genuinely excited that I felt like I was sharing the moment with a best friend I knew forever. Sarah was such a key part in helping my fiance pull off the ultimate surprise proposal. She not only recommended additional vendors to make it extra special, but also just captured the moment so beautifully and skillfully. She was very familiar with where we got engaged at the Stein Eriksen Lodge so recommended amazing areas to pose for photos. My fiance and I always thought we'd be weird in candid photos but she helped make it so natural. So grateful for the amazing photographs Sarah capture that we'll treasure forever! We and our friends/families are still in disbelief at how these photos are even real - they are beyond beautiful! -

Best Engagement Photos and Experience Ever
Sarah was incredible. I planned a proposal in Park City having never been to the venue (let alone the city). For weeks she worked with me to hear my ideas and gave me advice on the best way to make it happen. She coordinated with the venue, did an incredible acting job by pretending to work at the venue, and last but not least took the best photos imaginable. She went above and beyond by traveling back to the hotel and taking more pictures at the dinner we had planned. I can't recommend Sarah enough. -

Sarah was absolutely brilliant. I am so glad that I had her taking our proposal photos. She was so professional, and provided such a personal experience for us. I planned the proposal months in advance and she was there for every change, phone call, and text. It was such a painless and easy process working with her. There was always a smile from ear to ear on her face, and her attitude was so refreshing! On top of it all, and maybe most importantly, her aesthetic is absolutely beautiful. She truly is a talented photographer, with all the bells and whistles to match. We will be looking into bringing her to our wedding, she is so good! Incredible Photos - Highly Recommend!
If we could rate Sarah higher than the highest rating here, we would. We don’t think words can even express how great Sarah was for our wedding day. We had a very romantic & intimate wedding ceremony + reception at the Grand America Hotel, Utah this year and we were looking for someone who could “illuminate the emotion of every moment” of our special day. We couldn’t have found anyone better than Sarah to get the job done. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She wasn’t just our photographer, she was more like an elder sister trying to make our day look perfect.
We met her a couple of times before the wedding at the venue and she already had a plan for us – the perfect spots at the venue, perfect poses, etc. She identified those little moments that every couple wants to capture, and captured those with such poise and grace. She interacted with each and every guest at our wedding and captured some really cute moments that we’re going to cherish forever. She shared the sneak peeks shortly after the wedding and we knew we were going to absolutely fall in love with the rest of the photos. All the photos were simply INCREDIBLE!
We have a big Indian wedding ceremony coming up soon and we are going to have Sarah fly with us to India to shoot the full traditional wedding. She has an exceptional eye for composition and we absolutely LOVE her work.

I do not often get professional pictures taken in general and so am very uncomfortable when it does happen. Weddings are typically stressful events with a lot of planning, even small ones, so adding stress and discomfort should be avoided. That said, Sarah (owner of Sparkle Photography) was the perfect person to have in charge of photos on our important day. I really didn't want to direct the photography sessions or worry about missing those special details that need to be captured. She made sure that I had every step of my wedding covered, she caught it all! She made everyone comfortable and she was very easy to work with, taking the lead when I was at a loss for ideas. I would certainly recommend her to my family and friends. -
