I am so glad that we decided to book with Southern Flair. They are all three so friendly and knowledgeable, they really helped the whole day run smoothly and I have some amazing pictures!

I first met Dwayne & Barbara at a small bridal show that my Venue (Shady Valley Country Club) hosted. They were both very nice and I liked them immediately. It was my first show and I hadn't talked to any other photographers so when I saw the prices I was a little bit shocked. I decided that I needed to look around. I went to other bridal shows and talked with a lot of photography companies and photographers that work alone. I even saw them again at another bridal show.

It wasn't until my friend and I were going through her photos that I realized just how important photography was to the wedding. She didn't have any good pictures of her and her husband. It was really sad. We did finally find one that we could crop that would work but it wasn't anything you could hang on the wall. It really hit me how important photography is.

When I got home that night I sent them an email to set up an appointment and from the moment I walked in I knew that this was the right decision. We did an engagement shoot with Heather that turned out great, she really knows how to work the angles to help a girl out. They kept every deadline and responded quickly to every email.

On the wedding day they were right there for every moment and gave us cues on how to cut the cake and do the tosses so that we could have great photos. They had a photobooth which was a lot of fun, they sent me a link before the wedding so it was already all set up on my phone & the next day I was able to download all the pictures. They were wonderful and definitely worth the money! I even had guests comment on how personable and "on point" they were that night.

We've had SFP photograph various family members for years, but this event was the most recent time. Family reunions are so special !! "Reconnecting" is critical to maintain wonderful connections to those we do not see very often - as well as..introducing "new members" to their aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.! At our most recent reunion, we had close to 60+ attendees of diverse ages from toddlers to our oldest (who is 91 yrs old!) Southern Flair Photography captured so many precious moments, events, and activities for us at this reunion that will be treasured forever and... will help in making connections to ancestral roots for those who will come after us. Thanks so much, Southern Flair!

They were supportive and kept us on the correct path. This was our first wedding but not theirs and they did a great job of making recommendations without feeling pushy. We are so glad they were the photographers we chose.

Dwayne helped us so very much throughout the day of the wedding. We did not have a wedding planner and he was able to guide us through the event seamlessly. I have heard of photographers who "ran the wedding" and "got in the way". No so with Dwayne. He folded into our plan and aided us as needed. His folksy attitude has a way of putting one at ease - so important!

Southern Flair did an awesome job of capturing my daughters wedding. I was amazed and the quality of the pictures and their attention to detail. My daughter did not want everyone trying to take pictures with their cell phones, but wanted everyone to enjoy the event. I left my cell phone in the groom's room and did not take one picture myself. I enjoyed myself at the wedding and pictures that Southern Flair capture did not leave out anything - simply amazing!

We absolutely loved working with Dwayne and his team! I would highly recommend him for wedding (or any other) photography! He was such a professional and even worked wonders getting our dog to look adorable in our engagement photos. Southern Flair caught such amazing images from my wedding, moments that would have been forgotten quickly if not for their documentation. Dwayne was reasonably priced, quick to respond, worked very well with a shoot list and even set down his supper when the sun just happened to peak out, getting us that sunset perfect picture! We are truly blessed to have booked Southern Flair and promise you will not be disappointed!

Dwayne and Heather were very professional and yet very approachable and accomodating. They were fun and friendly, all the while going their jobs.
The quality of their work was outstanding and pictures are beautiful.
We were willing to go from Midland to Arlington 3 times to have portraits done.

I could not be more pleased with my choice in photographer. Heather did our engagement photos, and Dwayne did my bridal portraits and wedding. They are both incredibly talented photographers. Dwayne did a great job keeping me calm when a few stressful situations arose. He was also fantastic at helping us get through the evening by keeping it all on track. Both the candid and posed photos came out absolutely gorgeous. I am going to have a hard time picking which ones to put in our album. I'm not the type who has a thousand ideas for photos, but they captured anything I could have possibly wanted. They are worth every penny, and we will be returning to them when we need a photographer in the future!

We absolutely loved working with Dwayne and Heather! The duo is so fun and professional. We received the link to view our pictures while on our honeymoon, the processing time was very quick! The amount of experience they have with weddings shines through with how beautiful our photos are and how knowledgeable they are with poses/candids.

Mr. Lee and his company did an exceptional job for my daughter's wedding. From the engagement pictures all the way to the end of the reception, southern flair was there. They covered everything. I have been to many, many weddings and receptions but I have never had a photographer stay through the entire reception getting action shots. They also took pictures of couples and families and friends, etc. I have many friends who went to their website after the wedding to buy individual pictures of themselves and their spouses, families, etc.

Southern Flair Photography is worth every penny!!! I would highly recommend them for any event. They captured the spirit of this wedding from start to finish! That can't be duplicated or redone.

Dwayne and his daughter were the photographers at my wedding last week and I cannot say enough wonderful things about both of them. My husband and I live in Colorado but had our wedding in Dallas but being able to communicate with Dwayne by email and phone was very helpful! We went in to have our engagement pictures and my bridal shots done earlier that week and they immediately let us pick one out to put by our guest book and brought it with them the day of. They were both so professional and really good at what they do. Dwayne made suggestions on things I hadn’t even thought of! He has been doing this for 38 years and his expertise and eye for capturing specific things is exactly what you need on your big day! They of course arrived right on time and began taking pictures of all of the special moments that happened early in the day. After looking at the pictures I am just SO glad we went with them. Heather was great in the bridal suite before the wedding helping all of us girls with our dresses and was great at reminding us to hold our bouquets lower. Dwayne just has this amazing personality and was really good at getting the little kids to look at him while snapping the family shots. They were both amazing and I would recommend them to any bride in the DFW area. I feel so grateful to have these remarkable pictures of our special day that we can reminisce on for the rest of our lives. Southern Flair Photography is the way to go brides!

I'm loving my pictures! We had all of our pictures taken by Dwain and Heather: engagements, bridals, and wedding. I feel like Southern Flair Photography offers more than many other photography vendors. They have a full sized studio with a large backyard full of different sets and backgrounds, which is where we chose to take our engagements, as well as a viewing room with a large screen so that you can take a good look at your photos. My husband hates getting his picture taken, especially by strangers, but Dwain and Heather made us both feel so comfortable that by wedding time, they felt like friends more than just a vendor. They were flexible with location changes and always willing to listen to my ideas. Dwain also has a collection of contacts and knowledge about other vendors (cake, flowers, limos, ect) and can help with anything you might be missing. Definitely go check out SFP!

In a word "Family",
That is the way you feel when you do business with Southern Flair, because that's the environment they provide.Dwayne and Heather work magic and can take a picture that makes you say WOW. But not only there skill as photographers its there skill at being real people, they offer so many services and have the ability of doing so much but nothing is forced. When you are going through something as big as a wedding its nice to just have someone say hey take your time tell me what you want and we will help you. And they do this with such a flair (pun intended), from walking in and talking to Barbara, and meeting Landry, to getting in front of Dwayne and Heathers camera all I can say is I have a photographer for life. Check them out make sure to give Landry his treat and wait to see some magic happen.

Southern Flair is absolutely the best place to get your pictures done! They will work with you in customizing everything to suit your needs and for the best price possible! They have been honest and flexible in their feedback and availability from the time we set up for pictures to the time from picking up pictures after the wedding. Dwayne and Heather were awesome. My daughter lives out of town and could not come for her studio portraits until the day before the wedding. That was no problem with Dwayne--he took their engagement photos on Friday, and came to the wedding on Saturday. Both he and his daughter came and snapped away all day, and even worked around an over-enthusiastic family photog without saying a word. The proofs are gorgeous, varied, numbered in the hundreds, and were uploaded in just two days! They were probably the easiest-going vendor I had the pleasure to work with.

From the first meeting through the follow-up leading to the big event, working with Southern Flair was professional, calm, and very responsive. The results are fantastic with just the right combination of traditional family portraits caught on the spot, and also fun perspectives to show how lively the atmosphere was at the time. Dwayne and Heather did a great job photographing my wedding at The House of Blues as well as my engagement pictures at the Canals in Las Colinas. They did so much more than just photography. I felt like they were coordinating the wedding too which helped relieve a lot of stress off of me. It would'nt have been the same without them. Heather even bustled my dress for me. My husband and I liked their work so much that we also had them take our family portrait this year and Heather made our Christmas cards. They will do a great job.

Southern Flair Photography was wonderful for our daughter's wedding. The only problem we had with S. F. was being able to choose the Engagement portrait and Bridal portrait that Heather took. They were all so beautiful it made it difficult to choose. Dwayne, Barbara and Heather were all so helpful throughout the whole process. Heather and Barbara are the behind the scene Heroes of S.F. while Dwayne is the out in front superman. Even when things didn't go as we had planned (on our timeline) Dwayne calmly stepped in and readjusted his plan of action and everything went smoothly and calmly for the day. My mother-in-law as well as other commented on how well everything went with Dwayne's professional handling of the day. Thank you so much S.F. for all your help.

Our experience with Southern Flair Photography has been wonderful! Dwayne, the owner did our engagement and wedding shoots. He took a variety of great photos; it will be hard to choose which one's we want in our our album, because they are so nice! He's very professional, has a great attitude, & is good with getting kids to smile for the camera!

The guys at Southern Flair are THE BEST! It's really hard to find quality, friendliness, and affordability all in one company, but we definitely found it with Southern Flair. From the beginning when we had portraits done in their portrait garden behind their studio to the delivery of our finished, absolutely gorgeous wedding album, it was like we were part of the family - receiving the best of everything. Dwayne did an excellent job with our engagement portraits and wedding photography. Working with Dwayne made our wedding day flow so much better - his professionalism and experience made for a perfect day. We were slow in ordering our album (we waited until Thanksgiving week), but Dwayne & Heather got it done in just over a month, even at the height of the holiday season! We fully intend to use Dwayne and Heather for all of our professional photography needs for the rest of our lives, the service & final product were so great.

These were the most beautiful pictures. Our album is exceptional! The best thing about them though, is that after looking at several photographers, Southern Flair did not break our budget. We got top notch quality for a reasonable price. They have been in business for many years and know what they are doing.

I cannot say enough WONDERFUL things about Southern Flair. They were so great to work with and the photos are treasures we will have forever. Dwayne provided us some of our most memorable moments leading up to the wedding and on our wedding day...not just with photos, but with his great sense of humor and ability to make us feel at ease.

Dewayne and Heather are both very professionals. They are easy to work. They took our engagement pictures in the studio backyard, my bridal portraits in Highland park and our wedding. They took so many wonderful pictures having a hard time choosing.

Souther Flair was the best choice for us! Dwayne and Heather are amazing and great to work with! They are experienced and flexible. We did our engagment photos, my bridal portraits, and wedding day coverage with them. A few of the photos came out blurry but with sooo many to choose from we couldn't be happier! I recommend Southern Flair to all of my friends and clients! Thank you!

Absolutely awesome! We are sooo happy with our engagement, bridal, & wedding pics. On top of that, Dwayne, Heather & the rest of the staff were not only always on time to the locations, they were always there early & ready to go. Their experience definitely shows when setting up poses and shots. They also have online viewing options which are great. Price was very reasonable for the value, and photography is the one thing you should not skimp on either. They're in Arlington so it can be a drive to meet with them if you live in Dallas, but definitely worth it.

Dwayne was the photographer on our wedding day and I was incredibly impressed. Every picture turned out fantastic! It was hard to choose between them all. You definitely get your money's worth!! Dwayne was also very accommodating when it came to scheduling appointments. My husband is a member of the military and he was able to work with our schedules.

I loved working with this company. They were friendly, took beautiful pictures, and allowed me to have a lot of input into my photographs. I even brought in photos that I liked and wanted, and they took some to match those. They have great schedules, and always seemed to be available when I needed them.

Southern Flair did a fantastic job with my photographs. They worked very closely with me to make sure all the pictures I wanted were taken. They use a great mixture of posed and journalist style that got some great pictures. The only problem I had with Southern Flair is that you pay a lot of money for the pictures and you don't get the negatives. In fact, an extra 8x10 will run you over $50!! If you want to make more prints later on, this probably isn't the photographer for you unless you want to spend houndreds of dollars in addition to their packages.

We decided to check out Southern Flair Photography since my husband went to high school with the owners son and he had done their prom pictures. We went to a few other photographers but felt that Southern Flair was the best choice. They shot our Engagement Photos, Bridals and Wedding. Everything they did we were happy with. Our engagement photos had a little too much airbrushing but other than that, everything was perfect. One thing I really liked was that our wedding photos were shot with film while our engagement and bridals were digital. To me, that meant they knew what they were doing! He was a master photographer so we had great confidence that our wedding pictures would come out nicely. I was not going to do my bridal photos because I was afraid of getting my dress dirty - but he talked to my husband about it and I didn't to do it. They came out AMAZINGLY. I would recommend this photographer.

My overall experience with Southern Flair was mediocre. We had several meetings with both Dwayne and Heather prior to our big day, and felt very confident about their services. I will say they have excellent response times and answered all my emails/questions within minutes upon sending them.
The day of the wedding I was a bit disappointed. Most of my set up pictures were taken incomplete and were missing a few key pieces that I wanted displayed. The bridal party pictures look more like prom pictures, very awkward placement for both parties. Our pictures were rushed, and several of my family members felt they were being approached in a rude manner on more than one occasion. I have only three pictures of my husband and I from the day, and only one that is a "posed" picture. I felt their attention to detail on the day of to be lacking. The biggest disappointment overall is that none of the images come back edited, this makes it very hard to print on your own. They will however, edit any photo you print through them, which can get very costly. This is why they have such a fast turn around time. I would encourage brides to ask the right questions and make sure you are completely informed in your decision making process. Do not be sold to, this is your big day! I can not retake these pictures, and that partially falls on me for not doing better research.

I would not recommend using southern flair as your wedding photographer. Although the quality of the photos were good, they were unprofessional and not easy to work with. Our engagement photo session only lasted about 15 minutes while we were expecting at least an hour long session like most other photographers. Also, the price of the photos were unreasonable. The price for one 4x6 photo is $50. I understand they are professional photos but we couldn't afford to purchase many of the pictures. Dwayne always seemed in a hurry like he had something better to do. The whole ordeal was very impersonal and not what we were expecting for such a big day and a big cost. It is the only thing we would change about our wedding.

This family owned business seemed like a good decision at the time but shortly after our wedding we both regretted using them. Prior to booking with them they informed us that they had a site set up to which our wedding guests could donate money toward our photography costs. We were informed that if for some reason, our guests donated after we had already paid the full balance and we did not want any additional photos, they would simply write us a check for that amount.

It just so happens that this exact situation arose when one of my aunts donated $150 after we had covered our balance. After waiting 28 days for a response, and several emails later, Dwayne finally messaged me back saying he would write me a check for that amount minus the "give or take 3% credit card fee" he had to pay. I was shocked that he would even consider taking any amount of our gifted money but I had no other choice but to agree. A few days later I receive a check in the mail for $146.25 made out to my maiden name when I specifically told him my new name.

I never thought a family owned business would be so vindictive for me choosing to get that money as a refund as we were promised was an option to begin with.

I will not be able to recommend them to anyone I know after this and on the contrary, if anyone asks me if I know any photographer I will be happy to mention to them that they should stay as far away from then as possible considering the hassle I had to go through to get what was rightfully mine.

And I wouldn't believe the other 5 star reviews because after our wedding, and I'm sure every other wedding, he bribes people with a few free prints if they give him a 5 star review.
