Alan was amazing to work with! He was very detailed and made sure our wedding day music was in-line with our requests. Alan was able to read the crowd and play music accordingly to ensure a long night of dancing!! Highly recommend Sound Master Entertainment!

Great DJ! Highly Recommend!

We hired Tony to do our ceremony and he did a great job! Very organized, professional and friendly. He was very on top of everything from the timeline to music selections to the microphones so we didn't have to worry about anything! Would highly recommend!

Amazing DJ!

Tony was awesome from the get go! He listened to my wants for the wedding and delivered! I think everyone was on the dance floor the entire night. Thank you Tony for making my wedding so memorable and bringing the entertainment.

Aaron runs naughty bingo on Saturdays at Finn McCools for sound master. He's so awesome. His witty come backs and ability to get the crowd involved is amazing. He makes sure we all have a good time! Definitely coming back just to play naughty bingo with him!

Best Wedding DJ Ever!!!

Tony did an outstanding job at our wedding! He knew our venue (Camp Hale) and had everything under control to ensure good audio at our ceremony. He was exceptionally professional and had our dance floor packed ALL NIGHT. I had so many guests tell me they had never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding and Tony was a major part of that. He read the crowd so well and knew how to keep people dancing. He also did a great job as the emcee for our entrances and toasts. Not only was he a great DJ, but he was so responsive to our questions and emails beforehand. We always had the utmost confidence in him and he delivered. I would highly recommend Tony to anyone looking for a professional DJ that can keep the party going!

Incredible DJ

Tony did an absolutely fantastic, incredible job at our wedding! We had a multicultural wedding with a complicated timeline, music in over 5 languages, zoom, two slideshows, and even a powerpoint (don't ask). But Tony executed it all beautifully, without ever getting frustrated, lost or disorganized. We had a lot of last minute changes, but you would never know because Tony executed them all perfectly. And of course, most importantly, he kept everyone dancing and gave us one hell of a PARTY and a dream wedding. We got so many compliments from our guests about how wonderful Tony was too.

We were originally going with TH entertainment, but as the pandemic worsened we decided to require vaccinations at our wedding. However, TH decided to switch our DJ at the last minute, and the new DJ was not vaccinated. Our coordinator helped us find Tony at the last minute, and man, did we get lucky! I can't imagine anyone else doing a more wonderful job. Thank you, Tony for taking our COVID concerns seriously, and helping us have an awesome wedding!

DJ kept everyone dancing all night!

Alan was a fantastic DJ for our wedding. He nailed everything from arranging toasts to spotlight dances to getting the people going on the dance floor. He was adaptive and energetic and just what we were looking for. Having a small-ish wedding, we were concerned we wouldn’t have a full dance floor, but people were having a great time boogying it up all night. He had a great sense of the mood of the crowd and played songs that younger and older generations could relate to. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ.

The Best Wedding DJ + Emcee

Tony with Sound Master Entertainment is a consummate pro. The planning process was super fluid and simple, and Tony's personality and generally awesome demeanor added just the right amount of humor and spontaneity to our reception. You won't find better in the Denver area.

Best DJ around, hands down!

Tony blew my expectations of DJs out of the water. We met with him beforehand and he matched our personalities very well. Even with only meeting us once he was able to play the best music for our wedding day! He's the type of DJ that causes people to break the dance floor from dancing too much, our dance floor was crowed the entire night! Tony was a blast and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone around!

Incredible!

My husband and I got married in October of 2020. We had the privilege of working with Alan of Sound Master Entertainment! My husband and I absolutely love country, with old school rock and roll topped off with some 90s hip hop. I wish that I had recorded the amount of compliments from our guests about how incredible our music was. From the ceremony, to cocktail hour, first dances and reception; Alan did a phenomenal job playing the best music for our big day. Not only did Alan play great music but he also created a custom mix of songs for me to dance with my step dad too. It was the absolute best! Heck, my husband even got out on the dance floor and that's hard to get that ol' cowboy out dancing! Thank you, SME and Alan. We appreciate you!

Tony is the man!

Tony is the best!!!!! The music and microphone set up for the ceremony was great. And for cocktail hour and reception, we only gave him about 20 songs in total to play and he completely understood our style and had an amazing mix of music that kept everyone dancing all night long. We weren't sure what to expect with the dance floor during COVID, but Tony kept it rocking and even sported his light up mask throughout the night. Would recommend him to anyone!

Tony is Awesome!!!

You should hire Tony to DJ your wedding!!! My (now) husband and I met through concerts and sharing the love of music so we were really selective on choosing our DJ for our wedding. Tony was referred to us by our wedding planner and he did not disappoint. We had a phone call with him beforehand to get to know his style and get to know him as a person. He is understanding, fun and definitely someone you can trust. We met for coffee a couple months before our wedding to talk details about our vision, likes and dislikes. He played our favorite songs and kept the party going all night. He even has a photo booth (which produced some hilariously awesome photos for our guest book) and provides up-lighting to set the perfect ambiance we were looking for. We would HIGHLY recommend Tony!

More than your average DJ! Professional, fun, and keeps you dancing all night!

Tony Cummins of Sound Master Entertainment is AMAZING! I first met him when I was in a wedding years ago and he was the DJ….I couldn’t get off the dance floor! After having that experience I recommended him to a coworker and she hired him for her wedding.

Because of the experience I had at my friend’s wedding and the praises my coworker gave him, I HAD to hire him for our wedding.

I don’t know if other DJ’s do this, but because he works with a lot of vendors he was able to give me personal feedback on how they operated and worked together. His insight was VERY helpful when we were deciding on who to pick.

He really listens to what you are wanting and recommends music selections, lighting, and goes above and beyond on special requests you may have. For example, I wanted a monogram projection shown on the tent and he brought in a projector and made it look great!

The BEST thing is he keeps people on the dance floor!! He is high energy, his personality is amazing, and he is always smiling! Also, the way he works with vendors and keeping you aware of things coming up on your timeline makes you at ease while you are enjoying your guests.

The Sound Master website is great too! There is a portal where you add your song details (First dance, money dance, processional, recessional, cocktail hour etc.) and it sends reminders on what should be completed monthly.

My husband and I did a dance breakdown with a compilation of popular dances from the 80’s to the 2000’s and Tony helped us put the songs together, worked the timing, and did the transitions. He even suggested a better ending to close out the dance then we had.

I could go on and on about Tony, he is professional, punctual, easy to work with, and even though he is very busy he communicates efficiently, and is HELPFUL!

Thank you again Tony! You have become a GREAT friend!

Great DJ Package!

Tony provided a professional consultation to discuss our ideal wedding day and music that we wanted and didn't want played. Easy to use website that allows you to customize the music for your event with suggestions of the Top 50 for each classic song moment. Sound Master Entertainment also provided beautiful market lights for our ceremony and uplighting in the reception area. Very fun and easy to work with!

The best wedding dj

These guys were amazing! From our first conversations and inquiry, Tony was very patient and worked with us to find the best package for our wedding. Fast forward a few months later and the night was a hit. Tony did a great job navigating through our playlist and even playing a few of his own recommendations to keep the party going all evening. In fact, at the end of the night we asked if he could stay and keep playing as the venue was cleaning up. Our ceremony and venue were in two different locations (one being on top of a mountain and winter ski run in Crested Butte) and Tony flawlessly navigated the set up, transportation and the many moving parts of our day. Book this company now and you will not regret it. They will truly enhance your special day and provide a fun party for you and your guests!

Best dj ever!

Tony is DA MAN!!! Tony was AMAZING to work with from start to finish! He had people dancing ALL night, he kept the flow of the reception going smooth and he helped me execute the ultimate surprise for my husband which we planned only days before the event! He played all the songs we picked for our processional/ recessional/ grand entrance, etc. exactly how we talked about and was timely when he started and stopped the songs. The crowd loved the DJ! Not only is he an amazing DJ, he also did the uplighting around the tent for the reception and he made the photos looks so amazing! I’ll attach some photos with the review of our reception site. Great job on our backyard wedding!

We hired Alan of SME for our wedding this past June. It was a 2nd wedding for both of us, so we skipped a lot of the traditional wedding activities and events, however, I was extremely picky about the music. In my mind, music is everything to any event. SME's website made it very easy for me to control the playlist and Alan was very accommodating for us. It was so nice to have a professional like Alan to rely on - everything went great and we all enjoyed every song he played! I highly recommend him!

So much fun!

My biggest fear was no one dancing at my wedding. As soon as tony started playing people were getting up and dance and everyone danced all night! Not only is his energy and song selection amazing he’s also a really fun person to work with!

Someone that can make the whole wedding less stressful

Tony is one of those people that you can completely trust. I had no idea what music to choose for our wedding and I left nearly everything in his hands. He did not disappoint. Tony was amazing from the planning process through the end of the wedding. He responded quickly to any and every question and he answered questions that I didn’t even think of asking. I come from a family that doesn’t dance but Tony got everyone up and dancing – All Night!!! He was great at keeping the reception on schedule with toasts, cake cutting, first dances, everything. He has such a great personality and I felt like he had known us for years! I promise that you will not be disappointed with Tony!

Alan was an amazing DJ! We used his services for both ceremony and reception sound and he did a wonderful job in both areas. The online portal provided by sound master entertainment allowed us to submit songs to really customize our wedding day. Alan was great in keeping the party going, expertly flowing one song into another. He even helped us end the night on a high note and was so easy to work with. Alan was the DJ for our wedding and he kept the party going all night long!! We have an eclectic range of tastes in our families and all of the music fit together perfectly! (Reggae, classic rock, hip-hop) We also booked their photo-booth and our guests had such a great time taking photos and playing with the props all night! Al was so easy to work with, professional and had all of the right gear to make our dream mountain wedding just the way we imagined it! I recently had the pleasure of working with Alan for my wedding and I cannot thank him enough for everything he did to make the evening go off without a hitch! I truly believe that the DJ can make or break an event. Alan has been in this business a long time and you can tell that he really knows his stuff! Alan came highly recommended and definitely did not disappoint. Tony is the best! Yes, the music was amazing and the lighting was perfect, and our guests LOVED the photobooth (do it - seriously, people LOVE it), but he was great at wrangling us and making sure that the pacing for the night was right. We've gotten so many compliments on the flow of the evening, and that was in no small part due to Tony's professionalism.

All along, we told our vendors that we wanted them to have some fun, and I know that Tony did. He clicked with our guests, and everyone just loved having him cruise-direct this party. We're so grateful to how awesome Sound Master was, and will always remember what a happy, fun, delightful part of the night Tony was!

Now that the craziness had died down, Tony did an amazing job making our wedding memorable and fun! Not only did we have an awesome time, our guests continue to compliment what a great job he did by keeping the event going and setting the mood right. Guests have told us our wedding was the most fun they had out of all the weddings they've attended! He made the process preparing for the event seamless and I appreciate the additional recommendations he provided. Also, he went above and beyond by going out of his way to add additional flare to our marquee sign. We had joked about how cool it would be to add the flare, and he did it! It was perfect! Everything was so wonderful!! I'm so sad it's over...

Oh my God!! Tony is the best!! So we had a karaoke wedding and Tony could not have been better!! We had an awful wedding "day of" coordinator and Tony, with out being told picked up the slack. He was awesome, all our songs got played, his lights decorated our venue so eloquently, everybody loved him, karaoke killed it!! To any couples out there contemplating a karaoke wedding DO IT!! It was such a huge hit!! Also, any couple who wants to work with the most professional people in the wedding biz start to finish, hire Tony!!! He also can supply a full wedding team which we wished we would have used instead of just his videographer who he found for us on the cheap and was awesome!! Bottom line, is I doubt any one can make your special day any more special than Tony. We want to get married again just so he can Karaoke Jockey for us one more time!!

From the first time we met Tony, until the end of our wedding day, he was the consummate professional. He responded to our questions quickly, and was very flexible dealing with a guest list ranging all the way from young children to a few senior citizens. Tony is literally THE BEST DJ you could have at your wedding! He keeps the party alive but is sensitive and receptive to the tone you would like for your wedding. He works great with family and friends and is incredibly organized and thorough and easy to communicate with.

Alan Ley will o out of his way to make sure your special day is perfect. We were looking for a DJ who could focus mainly on swing music, hopping from vendor to vendor, all who didn't really know much about the genre, until we met Alan, who both knew most musical genres very well and was more than happy to research a little further to make sure the setlist worked (which it did wonderfully). He also coordinates with your caterer and photographer to make sure everything can transition as smoothly as possible. We couldn't ask for a better DJ.

Alan with Sound Master Entertainment is amazing! He is super easy going and easy to work with. We had such a fun time at our wedding thanks to Alan! He kept the crowd happy and enthusiastic all evening and there we're so many people dancing (it was a Sunday night)! Alan's personality and DJ experience is really what made our wedding. Highly recommended! Sound Master Entertainment delivered a fun and engaging atmosphere that truly created a memorable wedding experience. Al Ley of SME worked with my wife and I to create a unique program that included helping us select the best music that both suited our tastes and catered to the guests. And sure enough, the music, along with Al's encouragement from the microphone, got everyone dancing! The reception also featured real-time visuals from Al that accompanied the music and the various events of the evening, including pictures that Al took at the ceremony earlier that day. The guests absolutely loved this! I'm very pleased that my wife and I selected SME, and would encourage all to contact SME to learn how they can make your event memorable.

Tony at soundmaster was a pleasure to work with! Emails leading up to the event were helpful. Anything I asked for he handled with no problem. Music was smooth, no mistakes or awkward silent moments, and he kept the energy up during the entire reception. A true professional who noticeably loves what he does. Tony was entertaining, funny, and the perfect amount of fun and professional. My guests danced the night away and without Tony it would not have been the same. We just watched our wedding video for the first time (it was lost for a long time) and we relived a magical reception night. Tony really provided a night to remember. He was very professional and worked with all of our vendors. From the custom introduction music to late night dance music everything was great. We had our reception at the Donavan Pavillion in Vail and the wireless lighting he provided was amazing. We would highly recommend Tony.

Sound Master Entertainment was by far the best vendor of our wedding. If you are a couple/family that enjoys dancing, you will not go wrong with this DJ. Our ceremony and reception music were perfect! Tony had a feel for our guests and knew exactly when he needed to change it up. The dancefloor was full all night and that's exactly how we wanted it. I would absolutely recommend this DJ to anyone. AMAZING!

Finally a karaoke host that enjoys his job!!! Tony was an amazing KJ, he had fun with the rest of us, actually knows how to run a fair singing rotation and has the best personality of any Karaoke host I've ever seen! I will definitely be keeping up with the shows he hosts and never going back to the other awful shows around Denver!! Keep up the great work guys you rock!!

Ron was such a good DJ!!! We were pretty vague with our song choices and genres that we wanted but he did a great job at mixing it up between each genre for the different age groups that attended! Everyone loved him and I got lots of compliments on his song selection!

How can you have a party without these guys!!!! I hired Alan for a sixties themed birthday party. That was the smartest thing I did. I could enjoy the party without worrying about the music. Alan was very professional and FUN! He had a great selection of music and took requests. He was able to time the mood of the crowd and kept everyone dancing. I highly recommend SME.

SME was super professional and did a great job for us. Our DJ Alan, one of the company's founders threw a great party. He was totally out of the way, but got on the mic when he needed to direct traffic. He had great ideas about how to start the party off and get everybody dancing. He also set up 3 sound setups for us without missing a beat. One for the ceremony, one for the cocktail hour, and one for the reception. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat.

Tony from SME was amazing! He was reliable, helpful, and always willing to answer any questions. The day of I was blown away that he actually played exactly what we wanted him to play because he had to download music he might not have had already. My guests loved the music and Tony really knew how to read the crowd. He's experienced and loves what he does. I had multiple guests tell me they've never seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding. I owe it to Tony (and of course a little credit to our nutty families) No need to look any further-- this is your DJ! I am so glad we decided to go with this company.

We only did one interview when we picked a DJ, and it was Alan at SME. We loved how easy he was to work with and we felt like he listened to what we really wanted. Our wedding was nontraditional in a lot of ways, but we still wanted it to feel like a celebration, and Alan made that possible for us. He was great during the planning process and very responsive. He met with us twice (one interview and once before the reception to finalize things) before the reception, and we really liked him and his ideas. We weren't sure about doing some of the traditional wedding things- the anniversary dance, for example- but Alan talked us into some and we are so glad he did! It make the evening much more enjoyable and fun. The venue we chose was not ideal for a DJ to set up, but he made it work. Our friends danced and danced, which we were not expecting. His music choices were perfect, and we couldn't have asked for anything more! We recommend SME very much!

Brian and I worked with Tony for our wedding and he was amazing...did a fabulous job with everything! Our wedding venue was flooded out two weeks prior to our wedding and Tony was very understanding and accommodating in changing our location, time of wedding, etc. Highly recommend Tony to anyone...we could not have been happier with the job that he did. SME (Tony) was absolutely awesome! I was a bit skeptical at first as he hadn't DJ'ed an Indian wedding before but he was awesome and found a great playlist of Bollywood music on his own and did a great job mixing Bollywood + American music together. He was really flexible and wasn't overbearing as a DJ rather made the party.

I honestly can't say enough great things about SME/Tony and would absolutely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a DJ.

We originally weren't going to have a DJ but after talking to Alan once I fell in love again. Alan personalized our entire ceremony with amazing string quartette as guests were arriving and did a personal song for our ceremony as well. I had no idea how I was to go about the reception, but Alan was ready when special events were to happen and coordinated everything perfectly. I am so happy that we went with Alan for our DJ. He was very personable, prompt and prepared with everything. Alan didn't hesitate to go above and beyond a regular DJ. He takes awesome photos through the ceremony and reception and is always available if you have any questions. I was referred to Tony by a very good and trustworthy friend. I was so overwhelmed already with all the planning that goes into weddings that I just had to trust my buddy. Tony met with my husband and I and got a good take on our personalities so that he could be more of a custom Dj :) I sent him my song requests and told him he's on his own to tell me what to do the rest of the time..no muss no fuss.. haha :) Tony turned out to be one of the best things that happened to my wedding!!! He made the day perfect, fun, played current music and not cheesy over done wedding reception songs, and the dance floor was full ALL night! In fact I couldn't believe the time flew as fast as it did. My guests STILL talk about how much fun my wedding was and how it was by the far the best they've ever been to. The question I have answered most since our wedding night is "who was your DJ and where did you find him". That is normally followed by " you had the best DJ I have ever heard!" And I completely agree.

We used Alan from Sound Master entertainment as the DJ for our wedding. From the first meeting to the last song of the night, we could not have asked for a better DJ. His pricing was competitive, if not a little lower than a lot of places, but his service was superb.

The first time we met we let Alan know that we would not have a wedding planner, so it was really his show. He had no problem with that and lead all of us through the festivities with no problems at all. He was personable, responsive and even displayed some pictures in a slide show that I had given him for our first dance, father/daughter dance and mother/son dance. All of those displays went off without a hitch.

Aside from the music, the most commented on feature where the pictures that Alan took at the ceremony which he immediately displayed on a screen for cocktail hour. Within minutes the guests could see the entire ceremony. I don't believe any other DJ is offering a service like that. Additionally, immediately following the reception, Alan uploaded all of those pictures online so we had them immediately. As we are still waiting for the official pictures, Alan's pictures are the only pictures that we have of the wedding right now and I am so grateful for them.

I would recommend Alan as a DJ for any wedding or event, he is an ultimate professional who enjoys his job and it shows.

Alan from Sound Master Entertainment was simply perfect. He provided the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and we couldn't have been happier. Not only is he very professional and easy to work with, he's friendly, has great equipment, is not the cheesy DJ that you sometimes hear at weddings, and has awesome services that you don't get with other DJs (like a projector and screen where he shows video clips and pictures from the ceremony and reception). Plus their website is really handy and helps plan out your "must play" and "don't play" songs. We included karaoke for the late night part of the reception and it was a big hit with our guests. I also highly recommend the classical pop music (think Guns n' Roses "Sweet Child of Mine" done by an orchestra) for pre-ceremony music. I can't say enough nice things about Sound Master Entertainment.

Hi there! Alan Ley DJ'd my wedding and did an AMAZING job! He was well organized, creative, and fun! He did both the music for my ceremony and for my reception at Hudson Gardens. I had contacted him pretty late notice (only a month in advance) and he pulled it off. He is also great if you go see him on karoke night at champs! Another very cool thing he did at my wedding is he snapped photos of the reception when no one else did. Then he immediatly put them up on the projector as a slideshow. We were watching our first dance on the screen right after our first dance! He said he will give me a cd of the photos he snapped too. All in all, he really made my wedding special and if you ever want to ask me any questions just message me. GO SOUND MASTER WHOOP WHOOP!

Tony did our wedding with Sound Master Entertainment. Fun and exciting guy. He was nice to everyone at our wedding and treated my wife and I like we were very important. His equipment was professional level and he had 2 laptops for redundancy (in case one failed). He honored all of our guests requests and had a real grasp on the critical points in our wedding. Tony did an amazing job at our wedding! We had a very large age range and the dance floor was never empty! We received so many compliments on the music. We had our playlist, but gave him the option of making any adjustments if he thought it was needed. Towards the end of the night, at least one person had his phone out searching for requests and Tony obliged. He even replayed a couple of songs because important people were missing when he first played them. He was wonderful to work with, very helpful and provided some guidance when we needed it.

Mr. Ley was very professional in helping us make our wedding day wonderful. Tony was our DJ for the evening and I cannot say enough positive things about him. He was very professional and courteous, taking the time to email me and meet with me several times to make sure we had everything right. I am particular about my music and had several specific requests for him, such as saying a certain phrase ("Let's get the Led out") before playing a Zeppelin song; he fulfilled all of my requests and went above and beyond what I would have expected. Every single song was played on my request list, he did not play any of my DO NOT plays, and he really grasped what our music taste was and tailored the rest of the night accordingly. Tony even put together a wedding slideshow for me and patiently re-did it when I added 20 or so additional pictures! I am very impressed with this company and if I ever had it in me to plan another wedding, without a doubt I would be choosing them as my DJ!

Al was fantastic in working with my wife and me. He was flexible and willing to play the music that was appropriate for various parts of our reception. As one of many vendors we had to manage, Al was by far the most self-directed, patient, and able to set our concerns at ease.

I would recommend Al to any wedding couple seeking a great service for a fair price.

Tony was tue DJ that helped with our ceremony and with our reception and all my family and friends ranted about how diverse he was with the music. He really knows what the crowd wants and he has such a great website with a ton of music to help with what songs should be played when. He really helps out with the whole time lines for tue wedding!!
