Jimi and Sandi were absolutely wonderful to work with and to get to know on a personal basis. Their commitment to their work and their professionalism was off the charts. Our Something New video was one of the best parts of our wedding and Kyle and I are both so grateful to have been given the opportunity to work with them! My husband and I were on the fence about having a videographer for the wedding. I thought that a wedding video was unecessary and that any random uncle could record a wedding, so why hire professionals to do it.

Having just watched the completed 'Feature Film' from my wedding, I couldn't have been more wrong.

Jimi and Sandi, from Something New, translated our whole wedding day into a beautiful story. Now we have this amazing video with everything edited together perfectly. Speeches, first dances, crazy dance moves from the little ring bearers, behind the scenes footage of the photobooth.....everything that we could have wanted them to capture, they did.

In addition to being AMAZING at what they do, Jimi and Sandi are just so stinkin' fun and awesome and easy to get along with!! I enjoyed emailing back and forth the months before the wedding and was so excited to finally meet them.

Oh, and did I mention they were hard working? They arrived at the hotel at 10am for all the getting ready magic and followed us all day - including the double decker bus tour after the reception which wasn't finished until around midnight. They are so passionate and excited about their work and I had so many comments from my family and friends on how great they were.

For anybody who is on the fence about videography, it was honestly one of the best decisions we made and worth every penny. Pictures are great, but now I can look back and watch my wedding ceremony again and again...actually hear my husband choking up....laugh at my dad's cheezy jokes during the reception....and live my entire wedding day over and over again.

And for anybody in Las Vegas...I can't imagine that any videographers out there could have done a better job, or have been more fun to work with, than Jimi & Sandi. Love you guys!

It's hard to put into words how grateful and thankful we are that we chose Something New to be our videographers for our wedding. Jimi and Sandi are not only incredibly talented, and easy to work with, but they are genuinely amazing people.

We wanted videographers so that we could relive our day later on down the road. I didnt reallize till after watching it 100 plus times in a few weeks that this video is going to be one of our most treasured gifts and there is really no money that can replace it. Something new not only captured our entire day, but after editing it and putting their creativity into it, it seems like they made sure to get all the things that would mean the most to us as a couple. I LOVE Sandi and Jimi. Something New is something great! First and foremost, it's very obvious to see the superior quality in the films they produce that immediately stood out for me when I searched for a wedding videographer. I was captivated by their creativity and quality that I didn't see elsewhere. It's not enough to just capture the moments but they are be able to convey the footage in a beautiful and unique way.

In my first conversation with Sandi, I immediately had a very good gut feeling about Something New. I felt the passion exuding from Sandi when she described how the team worked on projects. That was very important for me since I had to work with other vendors and I never had to worry about Sandi. I always got a prompt response and had every question answered. We were fortunate to meet with both Sandi and Jimi before our wedding day when we were in town. They listened to us, asked us questions and showed a genuine enthusiasm for shooting our wedding. They make you feel very comfortable and it was great getting to know them and understand how they conduct themselves when they shoot.

On the wedding day, Jimi came by my room to capture the getting ready stuff and frequently contorted his body to capture various angles. Both Sandi and Jimi filmed throughout the entire day for all our special moments and could be seen at any moment running frantically to capture every single moment. I know our minds will be blown when we see the final product.

If you are looking for just a videographer, please look elsewhere. If you are looking for a passionate, creative and friendly film makers, stop and immediately go with Something New. I don't have enough superlatives to describe how great of an experience I had and I'm super glad I went with this great team.

Jimi and Sandi are AMAZING!!! These two are so much more than videographers. These two made our wedding feel like I was in my dream wedding in a movie!
We were put in touch with them through our photographer, Ron Miller, at the Bridal Spectacular last winter. While watching some of their work, I was in complete awe...it was so cool and so special! I definitely wanted a same day edit...what a unique way to show everyone what happens behind the scenes! The thing that really stood out was the way they shot videos. This wasn't any ordinary wedding video...this was cinematic genius!
Before the wedding, they even took us out for some dinner just to get to know us more and have a better idea of who we were and to really personalize the shooting of our day.
We had a two day ceremony and they were there, shooting all of the smallest details to the grandest of entrances. Sandi hung out with the girls and Jimi went to capture what was going on in the guys' room. They didn't want to miss anything.
On saturday night as everyhitng was starting to wind down, they showed the same day edit on the big screen. I was so good all weekend and hadn't cried...until this moment. It took my breath away! And to end it all, they got in the pool and filmed the bridal party jumping in as well.
We just love these two! What an amazing, special experience!

ARGH! It sounds so cliche to say "I can't think of anything to say that hasn't already been said" about SomethingNew:) ... but it is SO TRUE! Jimi and Sandi are hands down our favorite vendor that we worked with.

As a couple we are not the most natural lovey dovey beings in front of a camera lens (all that posing and "stare into eahcothers eyes" for the still pictures alone made us feel awkward enough and took some getting used to...) but Jimi and Sandi went out of there way to meet with us days before the wedding so we could get to know eachother and talk about how it was going to go down. When they arrived on the big day I called my husband and told him "Jimi's coming up to see you" like he was friend we had known for years. They made us feel so comfortable! Able to enjoy the day and not feel under a microscope (but sometimes I do wonder about some of the audio that didn't make the film!).

Our final product is amazing! We love the unexpected clips walking through the casino. I remember how psyched Jimi was about getting a shot he accidentally stepped on my dress and tripped...! But their enthusiasm is SO contagious and they love what they do, you see that in all their work. I also love having the audio! Three of our four big speakers from the night ad libbed. It's wonderful to relive the exact expressions and feelings surrounding the words.

We were one of those on the fence couples about videography but looking back on all of it, I would have cut more from other parts of the budget easily to include video! Jimi and Sandi could have made our day look great even if we were wearing burlap sacks. The best wedding investment you can make! We would love to work with them again someday!

Something New's team Jimi and Sandi, are not only extremely talented, but they are genuinely some of the nicest people I've ever met. My husband and I were married on May 18th this year. We met with Something new about 6 months before our weddind day and we had discussed all of our wedding ideas, theme, place,ect. Well we pretty much decided to do it all!! My husband and I decided to do our first look before the wedding and Jimi and Sandi insisted on being there for that to be apart of our video. They were so happy to join us on our adventure to Red rock to shoot our first look. About two weeks before our wedding We decided to have Something New shoot a Love story video of us together to show our guests while they eat at our reception... I really had no idea what a love story video could be like, but I am so thankful We did it, because it will forever be the sweetest video I've ever seen or been apart of in my life. Jimi and Sandi Decided to spend the day with my husband Jeremy and I while we did the things we love.... The video was titled "A day in the life of Cena & Jeremy"
We had decided at the end of the filming day we werent going to see the edited version until the day of our wedding so i would not only be a suprise to our guests but to us too. Watching the video on our wedding day was seriously the sweetest thing... Jimi and Sandi had really taken time to get to know us that day, that the way they filmed us had turned out so beautiful on the video. I havent cried and laughed so much in a 8 minute period in my entire life.
The day of our wedding they were there with us bright and early filming, not missing a detail in our entire wedding! Our wedding videos are more than perfect. Something New made it so easy for us to be around the camera, because they are such fun, exciting and friendly people!

My husband and I were married on Cinco de Mayo 2012, and used Something New as our videographer. Let me tell you, I am soooo happy we did!

I, like many couples, debated about hiring a videographer. Once we started planning the costs quickly racked up, and I began feeling overwhelmed with how quickly we were reaching our "budget". At the time I remember thinking video wasn't really a necessity. I mean how often was I really going to put in a 30 minute video of our wedding day and watch it? We decided to wait on the videographer and see where we ended up on costs; we figured we could always add it at the last minute. About 3 months before our wedding (thank goodness they had our date open still!) I pulled the trigger and hired Something New.

Fast forward to after our wedding, and I can honestly say a videographer was the best money we spent for our wedding. I have in fact watched the video several times, and the emotion and detail it portrays is something our pictures just can't do. If I had to do it all over again Something New would be the first vendor I booked.

The quality of product Something New offers is very impressive. The audio, something that was very important to me, is clear and crisp. Our vows, the speeches, etc. came through perfectly. Their creativeness in editing put a twist on the day I couldn't have even imagined. I loved getting to see the "details" I missed, like venue set up and the men getting ready. The final product truly is a story of our fairytale day. Moreover, Jimi and Sandi are just fabulous people, the type of people you want to work with. They took their time to get to know my husband and I as a couple and they listened to what was important to us.

I absolutely love this husband-wife team! Something New is exactly that! They are something new, refreshing but most importantly they are committed to telling and preserving the integrity of each couple's story. They don't take a blanket approach to every couple as some of the other companies in town do. I looked at so many companies before finding Something New and I can't sing their praises enough! Everyone has been raving about the highlight reel which is only about 3.5 minutes long, but in that brief time manages to tell our story and bring tears to everyone's eyes. Wow. What can we say about Something New.... They are AWESOME!!!!!! Sandy and Jimi are the most talented filmmakers. From the pre-wedding preparations they actually took the time to sit with us and get to know us better to make the film more unique to our personalities. Not only are they great filmmakers but they are the nicest people we ever met and we absolutely loved working with them. It felt like our friends were filming our wedding. The videos look so professional, our 5 minute highlight trailer looked like a trailer for a Hollywood movie! We really mean it when we say they are talented. The videos are very artistic and they captured our most endearing moments so beautifully. At first we were not going to get a videographer because of budget, but then at the end we decided to just go for it and luckily we found Something New at an awesome price. And we are sooooo glad we did!! We have these memories captured on film that will last a lifetime and beyond. Thank you Sandi and Jimmi.

By the time our wedding was over, it didn't feel like Jimi and Sandy were our videographers. They felt like old friends who showed up and happened to be incredibly good at capturing the most special moments
of our life. They didn't just document the event, they made us the stars of a beautiful, exquisitely shot movie. We got to enjoy our wedding through multiple points of view, reliving every moment from a different perspective. Our friends and family loved the video, with many of them pledging to use it as a model for their own wedding video ideas.

With the way they fully immersed ourselves in our family and traditions, we realized it didn't matter that we had hired Jimi and Sandy as videographers. We probably would have invited them to the wedding anyway.
