Danielle made sure that our day was perfect -- we brought her in as a "month of" coordinator" but in reality she was there for several months and it was all thanks to her that our wedding came together the way it did -- she was absolutely amazing and we couldn't begin to thank her enough for giving us the perfect wedding!

From the first time I met Danielle, I knew she was the right planner for our wedding. She was very personable and had a lot of great ideas. We hired her very early on and chose her partial planning package. She was great during the planning process and answered all of our questions. My only complaint is that at time she was slow to respond to emails or didn't get them at all, but once I brought this to her attention she was on the ball. She coordinated our rehearsal, which really helped everyone. She was great at the wedding, I didn't have to worry about anything. It was so nice to just enjoy the day! Our timeline got a bit off track, but she was able to adjust things and it all turned out great. I could not have done it without her. Her assistant Pattie was wonderful as well!

Where to begin with Danielle. Well, I feel like calling her my wedding coordinator doesn't do her justice. She feels more like a dear family friend now. My husband and I are in a creative field and I like planning things, but I knew that we were only doing this once and we would want the expertise of someone who does weddings all the time. I met with a few other coordinators before meeting with Danielle and I started to get nervous I wouldn't find anyone where our personalities clicked (very important!) and that had so much experience doing the kind of wedding we wanted--simple and rustic. It literally took 10 minutes to know that Danielle was the one for us. Unlike, some of the other coordinators we talked to--she let us do most of the talking and she listened enthusiastically. She was immediately a great resource in referring vendors and took away any worry that we'd be stressed out on the actual day. Every meeting and email after that was just as reassuring and I always felt like I could shoot her any question and she would have an answer. As we got closer to the day I felt extremely confident that all the ideas and designs we had come up with would be perfectly executed--even if the weather didn't cooperate--which it didn't. As much as I wanted to be in control of things leading up to the day--I was so glad to let Danielle take over and just tell me where and when I needed to be at the rehearsal and wedding. It gave me the freedom to truly just sit back and enjoy myself and not worry about all the little details--and trust me there are a ton of little details! From day one I felt like I was in great hands by a friend that wanted me to have the best day of my life. My family also adores Danielle and I feel like my mom will probably continue to email her even though the wedding is over--because Danielle has an answer for everything! I hope you don't hesitate to give Danielle a call. Or contact me if you need further convincing! I had an absolutely perfect wedding day (cold front and all) and it wouldn't have been possible without her.

Danielle saved my wedding-life! We hired her for her full-planning. Not only did she calm us down when we lost a reception venue, but she had mulitple options for our budget. We hired her because we were living in Mississippi and we were trying to plan a wedding in Colorado.
She is super professional and cares so much. She really wanted to find out what my husband and I wanted for our day. Which things were most important, and what we could afford. She met every single need and beyond.
Danielle was able to attend meetings I couldn't go to, she did food tastings I couldn't do, and she worked with a vendor to create beautiful invitations. She worked on, and completed an amazing ceremony pamphlet, wrote up directions for guests to the reception and made sure to keep things smooth throughout both the ceremony and reception. She even went far and beyond to make a 'fake' pamphlet for our rehearsal, to cover-up a secret song I had planned for my husband during the real ceremony!
She stuffed our party favors and made our escort cards. She went and purchased bubbles last minute and did the table numbers exactly how I pictured. She made sure she brought us breakfast, lunch and champagne on the day of, and simply let us pay for it when the day was done. She set up, took down and took charge! Danielle made sure I didn't have to worry about a thing, and everyone at the wedding said she made the wedding perfect. From budget planning help, to endless phone calls and texts, Danielle and Something Classic Events is top-notch. She is affordable, and in my opinion, will take off as a wedding coordinator and blow other planners out of the water! Hire her and you will not be dissapointed. Jon and I owe so much to Danielle, and will praise her forever!

From the point of view of the "stepmother" of the bride I was very disappointed in a couple of crucial things. First, the seating outside did not have quite enough chairs for everyone and no one checked this prior to the wedding. I was told that there was a wedding the evening before and no one checked the chair count for the next day. Really awkward needless to say.
Prior to dinner the guests names were up on a board. All of our friends, Father of the bride et al were not on the board. Once again, most embarrassing. Although Danielle was very pregnant at the time she might have considered passing this one on to her associate.

We "won" Danielle in an online auction for Wish Upon a Wedding. Even though we didn't pay full price for the day of coordination package, knowing what I do now - the full price would have been well worth it! I can't imagine what we would have done without her. She kept things flowing smoothing, made sure we were on time, helped with the setup, the rehearsal, everything. I HIGHLY recommend Danielle and think EVERYONE needs a day of coordinator! You will NOT regret it one bit!

We hired Danielle for our daughter's wedding. She helped with planning and as the day of coordinator. She is very creative, professional and organized. She took care of everything on the day of the wedding so we could relax and enjoy the day. Danielle does an outstanding job and we would highly recommend her.

So glad that we hired Danielle to make the day run smoothly. There was a few emails that did not make it to her, so sometimes it was hard to get a hold of her, but she always got back to me in the end. Some times her go get them attitude can be mistaken for being combative, but she really shined through to make my wedding day so beautiful. Would recommend.

Danielle at Something Classic Events did an amazing job as our day-of-coordinator. She was very organized and prepared, conducted herself professionally, and made sure that everything ran smoothly. Because of her, our day went perfectly. She was very involved throughout all of our planning, always responded quickly to questions and requests, and was always there to help me through any situation we ran into. Danielle was worth every penny, and so much more. Thank You Danielle, for making our wedding day the most amazing day of our lives. It was so nice not to worry about a thing, because we knew you would handle everything. Anyone reading this - I would absolutely recommend Danielle for your wedding, she is a life-saver!!

I cannot say enough good things about Danielle! She was an absolute joy to work with & I am sad the wedding is over & I don't get to work with her anymore! Danielle was extremely reliable, hard working, professional, punctual, & totally organized. She went above & beyond the duties of a "day of" coordinator & she embraced all of my crazy ideas & very specific details, even though it kept adding more & more work for her : ) She definitely brought my wedding vision to life & I am so grateful I found her! If you are on the fence about hiring a DOC, just do it! Danielle will take care of everything from start to finish & you can just relax & enjoy your day.

We love Danielle & Something Classic Events! Danielle was our day of coordinator for our wedding. She was professional, kind, supportive, and really understood what we needed. Since we had never planned a wedding before, we needed a ton of help. Danielle was always available by phone and e-mail; when we had questions about vendors there were people that she had already worked with and was able to recommend. Something Classic Events and Danielle come highly recommended from us, we had no idea how much help we needed with our wedding but she was there every step of the way. We do not know what we would have done with out her! What a life saver, worth every penny and even more!

We booked Danielle for her day of package and got so much more! She will help with anything you need along the way; vendor recommendations, contract review, anything you need, she's your gal! She did SO much for us in the weeks before the wedding, I'm pretty sure the entire event would have fallen apart without her. She was hands down the best money we spent on the wedding and kept the process so stress free, we were actually able to really enjoy it! I would have paid twice what she charges for her services, she is easily worth that much! If you are on the fence about whether or not you need a coordinator, meet with Danielle and find out how much she will do for you! You won't regret it!!!

Danielle Odil is an angel to us...we hired her a month before our wedding. The moment i met her i knew our wedding will be in great hands and my stress level went down.She is so organized and really good in what she does. Her professionalism is one of her great traits. Danielle was the best thing that happened to our wedding! We could not have done it without her - she was highly professional and not afraid to take corrective action or escalate when things did not go perfectly. In the beginning, I did not think she was quite responsive enough, but I learned that she knows more than I do about timing and I really did not need to worry that questions were not answered immediately (I was just being too obsessive at the time!). She was definitely a good friend and a great planner - I would recommend her to anyone getting married in Colorado.

Danielle is AMAZING! I don’t know what I have done without her. If you don’t think you need a DOC then you seriously need to think again! She does it all!!!. She was the BEST money spent on the wedding. I had a dilemma with my ceremony music and she fixed it no problem. I dont know what I have done without her. She also did a fabulous job at the rehearsal. She does SOOOO much and has the best prices out there.

Danielle rocks my socks off. Seriously. She is the best ever. I knew the instant we met with Danielle that there was no way I was having a wedding without her there. She has great ideas, even better advice, and is so much fun as well. Danielle was the only reason why I didn't have a panic attack the day of the wedding. She attended our rehearsal and organized everything and everyone. The day of the wedding she set everything up more amazingly beautiful than I could have ever hoped. Everyone commented on how beautiful the room set up was and how you couldnt tell at all that it was a "budget" wedding. Danielle was recommended by other knotties and I can see why. If you think you don't need a day of coordinator, think again. Then, call Danielle.
