Every bride has a favorite part during the wedding planning. Mine was not the dress, neither cake nor the decorations; it was photography. Especially when your love ones can't be there for you.

Simply Bloom was my first and only choice. Their pictures are not frozen like the ones that we witness most of the time; they all tell you a story, even when time passes and you come to a moment that you can't remember things any more, they will be right beside you to help you to remember your very important moments. So I thought they would help me too to share my story with my mother who is so so far away from us.

The wonderful part was that not only the pictures but also the people who take them are so beautiful in every way: they have been very kind, helpful and understanding from the very beginning till the end.

I thank them very much with all my heart...

Simply Bloom is everything you could want in a wedding photographer. From the very beginning these ladies took a genuine interest in us and our big day. As a bride planning my Alabama wedding while living in Oklahoma, I was grateful for their consistent communication and flexibility when dealing with my long distance situation. They were eager to learn about the details of our wedding day, and I was so grateful for their help developing a photography plan that flawlessly fit in with the rest of the day's schedule. The day of the wedding, they were on time and immediately started scoping out the venue for places to take portraits later on. These ladies have such a unique creative eye, and you can trust them to find the perfect spot to photograph your dress, floral arrangements, rings, and most importantly, you and your guests. They kept a smile on their face throughout the day, and I was honored to have them as a part of my day. The photos are even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined, and they truly did capture the essence of the day.

Not sure where to even start describing the experience I had with Amanda of Simply Bloom Photography, except "perfect." They covered my engagement, bridal, and wedding day photos, and I'm so glad I trusted them with this precious time in my life.

From the beginning, even before we had a contract or I had made my final decision, the ladies of SB were helping me with wedding photography ideas.

Enagement photos: I had decided I wanted a fairytale/picnic style shoot, and the girls were great on helping me scheme up styling. And then day of the shoot, Amanda and Ginny were eager and willing to help me hang my window sills and set up all of the props.
Amanda was also great at emailing me some of my photos ahead of the CD images, so that I could include them with my invitations.

The ladies also were helpful in recommending a great hair and makeup stylist for the shoots.

My bridals turned out flawlessly beautiful. I had locked my dress into my car earlier that day, and was very frazzled, but Amanda & Ginny were angels and helped me to relax and really enjoy the time.

Wedding day: Amanda was my God-send. She helped me keep track of the time, caught all the details for pictures. It was so nice not having to worry about where I needed to be next for pictures; Amanda was on top of everything, and it was great to be able to lean on her for that.

After seeing all of my wedding photos, I could have cried. They were beautiful and perfect and captured that true fairytale essence I had dreamed of.

You can't go wrong with the talent of Simply Bloom (and I'm ridiculously partial to Amanda)! <3

Vania and Christine were absolute dreams to work with. They're geniuses behind the camera with a gift for finding gorgeous shots. The price point can seem, at first, a bit high. However, when you see those images of your wedding day you will be glad you invested in these keepsakes. Planning a wedding, let's face it, can be stressful. But, Vania and Christine took the worry out of photographs and made us all feel at ease in front of the lens. Without hesitation or reservation I would recommend their work to any of my friends or family looking for a photographer. Many thanks to you, Christine and Vania!

My husband and I, knowing that photography was of huge importance to us, raked through over 300 photographers before we finally found Simply Bloom in an article in Southern Weddings. Many high end photography studios charge a great deal for photography that doesn't reflect a certain attention to detail, to emotion, to subtly. With Simply Bloom, however, you really get a high level of quality and beauty for the price. From the time we drew up the contract to the months after our wedding, Simply Bloom Photography has surpassed all of our expectations. Christine and Vania, German and Italian respectively, bring their traveled experiences to the eyes of their lens. In particular, their attention to light, and its ability to illuminate its subjects from within, create a dreamy style of photography that my husband and I are excited to share with our families for years. As a stressed bride, with a million decisions, Christine and Vania made our process with them straight forward, yet warm and very positive. They really helped us capture our wedding in Sarasota even though it rained briefly making things interesting :) They're both really wonderful women who, on your wedding day, help make it more special by taking a way a layer of stress. Plus, they're awesome people :)

The one tangible thing my husband and I knew we would have after our big day was pictures. We both had a specific vision in mind and after months of attempting to find the perfect local vendor, we decided to broaden our scope. I looked back at the inspiration photos I had saved from my favorite wedding blogs and found that I was really drawn to the Simply Bloom aesthetic. So I sent off my inquiry and crossed my fingers. A few days later we got a response back and luckily they were free! We communicated a lot through e-mail and Vania was great with answering the endless number of questions I had.

Everything happened so quickly on the wedding day that it took me a little while to realize that our photographer Vania brought along someone else rather than Christine. Since they were the only two photographer ever mentioned on their blogs I was a little surprised at first but it all ended up working out great. The other photographer was their new associate photographer, Amanda. She was very warm and friendly. Pre-weddng I was afraid I wouldn't know how to pose for photos but Vania was fantastic with telling us how to stand and what to do and giving us directions for slight adjustments. Vania and Amanda were very easy to work with and we both felt really comfortable with them.

We LOVED our photos. The pictures felt right in line with all of their blog photos I had saved for inspiration. We have a handful of favorites taken by Vania and a handful by Amanda. They really embodied the joy we felt on the big day and we're overjoyed that we hired the Simply Bloom team to capture all of it. You won't be dissapointed if you hire these very talented ladies!

I cannot give enough platitudes for Simply Bloom. They were a dream to work with, absolute professionals, and so much fun that it felt like I had invited 2 more of my friends to join in my destination wedding. My initial contact with them was through email (it's the easiest way to get ahold of them), and by a stroke of luck they had my wedding weekend off! Their prices were the best for any destination photographers I had found, and also, the way their pictures come out look completely different from most of the wedding photographers out there -- I chose them based on their prior work that I found online on wedding blogs. The photos are timeless and yet whimsical, and the combination is pulled off effortlessly. I highly recommend Christine and Vania to be your wedding photographers -- especially if you need a destination shoot. Their work is spectacular, and I can't stop looking at my wedding photos because I love them so much.

As an aside, I have a friend who also recently got married, and she had her photos taken by someone else. She dislikes her photos so much that she says she can't bear to look at her professional photos and only has the candid shots her friends and family took at the wedding -- I went into my wedding planning with this story in mind, and I have to say, that's why I'm so pleased I found Simply Bloom -- their photos will mean an indescribable amount to me forever, and I LOVE every photo they took. And this is why I recommend Simply Bloom -- because you want to walk away from your wedding with photos you will treasure forever, like me.

Vania from Simply Bloom photographed our wedding this Spring and we were speechless when we saw the photographs. They were absolutely stunning! I said one of the best decisions we could have made was to hire Simply Bloom to capture our day. Most of our friends said they didn't even remember seeing our photographer as she was sneaking around taking beautiful candid shots. Vania & Christine are not only amazing artists, but truly amazing people. I couldn't come up with a single complaint, our pictures are breathtaking. They truly captured the Modern/vintage feel that is their trademark. Our wedding photo experience with Simply Bloom Photography was exceptional. Christine & Vania were incredibly professional and extremely creative. All of our photographs turned out more beautiful than my husband & I could have ever imagined. C&V had great suggestions as to where we could take photos and they were always extremely flexible and patient with our group. It was almost surreal when we received our photo album - they captured the feelings and the beauty in every photo. We were blessed with beautiful surroundings and the photos turned out AMAZING!!! Working with SimplyBloom was a dream come true! We had such a difficult time finding a photographer locally that fit our style and what we wanted out of our wedding photograps. When I saw Vania and Christines work online it was the biggest of reliefs. We're just so glad that they were willing to come to Charleston to document our wedding. Simply Bloom Photography is SIMPLY AMAZING!! These two girls are incredibly talented and SO easy to work with! My partner and I had a terrific experience working with Vania and Christine of Simply Bloom. They were a joy to have as our photographers, putting us at ease right away, and their talent continues to astound us. The SimplyBloom Team captured our entire engagement/wedding flawlessly. They froze one of the most important events in our lives in a creative and timeless manner. The Simply Bloom team was very accommodating of our needs, style, and personalities in regards to photography. I loved the use of nature within all photography as my husband and I love nature. I have had the priviledge of knowing Vania Barbieri for many years. She is one of the most talented artists I know. I say artist because she makes the photos she takes into art. Any person can take a picture, however Vania and Christine are true artists. They have the ability to catch the most amazing moments in a wedding, or any event that one might want captured on film. The pictures they gave my new husband and I are truly breathtaking and really capture the love that was felt that day. If you want boring old run-of-the-mill photos do not go to these girls!! However, if you are wanting pictures that are creative and can display the wonderful emotions of your wedding day, these are your girls! They are easy to work with and very flexible with what I wanted. They are very open to a bride or groom's opinion and present themselves with true professionalism. I was extremely pleased with the services provided by Simply Bloom Photography. Although they are a fairly new company, their creativity, artistic vision, and professionalism was that of a long established brand. I was amazed at all my pictures and this company's ability to produce stunning photos no matter what the environment. They are willing to work with you and don't stop until you are completely happy with the product. These are not just your average wedding photos. If you are looking for modern, edgy, creative photos with a vintage feel then this is the right photographer for you. The money I spent with Simply Bloom is arguably the best spent money out of all my other wedding expenses.

Your pictures are the only thing that you carry on of your wedding day. I wanted pictures that represented me and my husband in a unique way. Simplybloom blew my expectations out of the water and they delivered the most incredible pictures. They say a picture can say a thousand words. I have been following their work for years and always admired their particular aesthetic. I dreamed of having them photograph my wedding someday, but feared they would be abroad or otherwise engaged. I was thrilled to be accepted as a client. Their vision was spot on for my wedding and their time management, organization and collaboration throughout the day allowed for a comfortable stress free experience. The photographs are true art that we will be happy to display in our home for years to come. It is difficult to choose a favorite, but if I had to, it would be the image of my husband and I with the sunlight behind us and all around, their signature. Simply Bloom Photography produces phenomenal work! My husband and I are so pleased with our engagement and wedding pictures. Vania and Christine made amazing pictures. They truly captured the mood of the day and everyone's personalities. These pictures are beautiful and I would recommend simplybloom without reservation for anyone.

We loved our photos! Pricier than other photographers in the area, but you get what you pay for. Of all our of wedding vendors, we paid the most for our photography -- after all, pictures are forever! Loved working with each and every person at Simply Bloom. They are extremely busy, so email was the only way to stay in touch, but they were usually fairly quick to respond.

Simply Bloom are absolutely the best wedding photographers in North Alabama, perhaps all of the southeast. They are a bit pricey, but for us they were absolutely worth it. They have a unique style which fit our wedding perfectly. They are also incredibly sweet and easy to work with. If you are worried about being a bit shy in front of the camera, these ladies are for you! They took the time to learn about us and made us comfortable and made sure that our personalities were reflected in our photos. The only reason they don't get a 100% positive rating is the price. They can be cost-prohibitive for some; we had to cut back in some other areas to be able to afford them, but it is a decision I know I will never regret! After other the things from the wedding has faded away, the photos will remain, and I am glad we went with the best!

Vania and Christine were wonderful. They are such sweet people and really want to provide top quality pictures for their customers. They have a passion for vintage style and unique design shines through in their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to add a creative touch to their wedding photography!

My husband and I were absolutely thrilled with the beautiful images that Simply Bloom captured of our wedding. I stumbled upon their blog over a year ago and knew that even though they are in Alabama and I am in Florida, I absolutely had to have them as my photographers.

They did not disappoint. Do yourself a favor and check out their blog. You will be hooked forever.

Simply Bloom was a joy to work with for my wedding day! I am very picky about photography and as soon as I saw their website, I knew I had to have them. They are so easy to work with and always capture the most interesting shots. Their editing is incredible, it has a wonderful vintage yet modern look to it, which is what they pride themselves on (as they should!). It is everything I could have asked for and more!

The artistry of the photos was undeniable, and the options for albums, prints, and storyboards are fantastic. There was a very positive working atmosphere during all shoots. Emails were generally responded to quickly, but not always, perhaps due to hectic travel schedules. There was some wrangling over prices being "locked in" that ended up costing us a not-insubstantial amount of money, but in the end the pricing is very reasonable for the quality of work you get. Would recommend to anyone looking to have a very unique style of photography at their wedding.

Love the pictures, but it's quite a long turn around time for all pictures. 6-8 weeks on engagements and 8-10 for wedding pics. Be mindful when scheduling...it's worth the wait.

The girls at Simply Bloom were the best I could have hoped for!!! They are so creative and open to suggestions and desires from the Bride and Groom and truly made our day appear as the fairytale that it was in the images that they provided us. I would recommend these ladies to anyone planning a wedding in the Huntsvill and surrounding area and cannot wait to see how far they can take their talent!!

We absolutely love our wedding photos and engagement photos! They turned out beautifully, and we got quite a large number of photos from our wedding. They were very responsive to e-mails and always got back in a timely fashion. Christina was punctual to the wedding, and took and photo we wanted! Even with all the craziness of trying to organize family photos she was ready in a heartbeat for any photo opportunity. They were a little more than I had originally budgeted for a photographer, but it was worth it.

I love Simply Bloom! From the moment I saw their website, I knew I had to have them as my wedding photographer. Their pictures are amazing, and Christine did a wonderful job making sure everyone was comfortable and relaxed. Not only that, my wedding venue was really in the middle of nowhere and they were right on time, no problem...which really eased my anxiety. Also, my package came with 2 sessions, one of which we used for engagement pictures and the other we didn't have time to use, but they said we could use it anytime after our wedding, which is awesome. The only issue I would make would be that their responsiveness to emails was sometimes lengthy, but in the end it was worth working with Christine and having such beautiful pictures.

I love the Simply Bloom "look", and while I got that in a few of my photos, most of mine had some lighting issues and needed some editing after I was given my gallery. The photographer was wonderful to work with, very professional and calm during the wedding and reception. I had an issue with one of the prints I ordered, and they fixed the problem without extra cost.

Overall, I guess I am pleased with their services, but not as much as I thought I would be.

I was really not happy with a lot of my wedding photos. There were a select few that I really loved, but the rest lowered my self confidence quite a bit. I do not think that the few I loved were worth the thousands I spent for their service. Also, their agreement says it will take a certain number of weeks for you to get your pictures back. That turned into several months for ours while our families constantly asked what was taking so long. I also hate the fact that you can't opt out of being on their blog. A lot of the photos I wasn't fond of were put on there for my judgmental mother-in-law to have a field day with. I couldn't just share the ones I loved. Overall they were definitely not worth the money despite the few really great photos I got out of it, and I wish we would have chosen a different photographer.
