We recently got married on July 26, 2014 and had our reception held at the Sheraton in University City. It is a very beautiful venue! We had the entire lower level to ourselves. The cocktail hour was held in the lower level lobby and dinner was held in the Benjamin Franklin Ballroom. Marta Federline was our catering sales manager and she was very prompt with everything! We had the option to have American or Chinese food for our wedding. Since we're Asian, we gladly chose Chinese food for our guests that was catered by Sang Kee Restaurant (located right inside the hotel!). We had the traditional 10-course meal. Everything turned out superb! We dealt with Michael Chow and Hugh Kong (Sang Kee Restaurant) from start to finish. They were very, very professional every time we met up for menu changes, tastings, etc. They were also very detailed-oriented and very easy to deal with. All the guests complimented on how great the food was and how beautiful the food was arranged. Overall, it was a great experience and all the guests had a great time! This place is also convenient for out-of-town guests...the rooms are located upstairs! If you booked your wedding with this place, you can reserve a block of rooms for your guests, and the bride and groom get to have a complimentary bridal suite with free parking! The bridal suite was very huge and beautiful with modern amenities. All of the staff at this place was very helpful to our guests, especially the front desk. I cannot thank everyone enough for how patient they were with us from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to have their wedding or other events. Overall, the pricing was reasonable. The location was great for our guests...they can go out and walk around and experience the city. I would plan this wedding all over again! Thank you Sheraton and Sang Kee! You guys were great!
