Beautiful Flowers - More Than Expected

Sheila Smith was a pleasure to work with, and did a fantastic job with our wedding. When I first reached out she probably spent about 30 minutes on the phone with me learning about our vision - which I think was a bit looser than most peoples when it came to flowers. We had her do bouquets, boutineers, the chuppah, and table centerpieces. She followed up with a very detailed proposal. This allowed us to look up all the flowers she suggested (make our flower Pinterest board) and follow up with more detailed input on the proposal. Because we are not local, we worked by phone and email and I trusted her completely on execution (we never bothered with mockups). To say that we were blown away by the floral arrangements is an understatement. The florals were more beautiful than we imagined - and the chuppah looked just like the inspiration I shared. I could not recommend Sheila more highly - both for customer service and execution.

Excellent vendor!

After seeing the flowers at my sister’s wedding the previous year, I knew I had to book Sheila for my wedding on 6/8/19. I am so happy I did; everything was so beautiful and Sheila was a pleasure to work with. I received so many compliments on my bouquet and centerpieces. My Matron of Honor and I were at a bridal show in Baltimore in late winter of 2015 when we saw the AMAZING and gorgeous booth that SS Wedding Floral had put together. I said to her then and there that this was my vendor.

After doing some research and then finally reaching out to Sheila, we met for tea and discussed my visions and budget as well as her creative ideas. Just on the spot I knew I was making the right decision! She knew what I was looking for and made me feel comfortable of that execution by just being in her presence.

Fast forward to a year + later, I'm sitting in our bridal suite getting ready with my girlfriends and here Sheila the floral angel arrives with THE MOST BEAUTIFUL bouquets!! She took what I wanted and knocked it out of the park! Absolutely romantic and glamorous down to the details of color pops.

Once I saw the bouquets I then could not wait to walk into our venue to see more! After our beautiful ceremony and pictures we got to get a sneak peak into the ballroom before our guests, and I was speechless! Sheila really did EXECUTE! We found ways to make the candlelight, flowers and bridesmaid bouquets go A LONG WAY!

To this day, my guests are asking me where I got our flowers from. Everyone loved the table displays and the flowers on the cake! I was obsessed with the uplit Cala Lillies and the gorgeous Dusty Miller. Sheila, your creativity, kind heart and love of what you do truly shows in your work!!

Sheila made my big day so so so special. My theme was sunflowers, so flowers were a really essential part of making the wedding/reception complete. She did such an AMAZING job with everything. My centerpieces, bouquets, and other floral arrangements were gorgeous and I received so many compliments about them. I highly recommend Sheila!

I don't even know where to start - my wedding flowers were absolutely STUNNING! When I first met with Sheila back in February (our wedding was in September), I knew I had found my florist because she immediately understood my vision and the look I was going for. My bouquet was absolutely incredible and so were my bridesmaids' bouquets and our centerpieces. My guests were also blown away by how gorgeous our flowers were and many of them said they were some of the prettiest wedding flowers they had ever seen. I wish I could give a higher review because Sheila did an incredible job. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding florist! You will be blown away!

I knew that Sheila was the florist for us as soon as we met her! We wanted something simple and rustic for our wedding day without breaking the bank and Sheila delivered that and more! The bouquets were absolutely stunning as were the centerpieces! Sheila was extremely flexible and worked with us to keep the cost down - we even provided some of our own items for the centerpieces and she incorporated them seamlessly. I also want to note that Sheila did not try to up-sell us on anything, which other florists we interviewed did -- this, to me, says so much about Sheila's character and her goal to simply make her clients happy. I highly recommend Sheila!

from the minute we met with Sheila we were confident that the wedding flowers were going to be special. She LISTENED to my daughter, the bride, and gave suggestions as needed. She came through big time. The flowers were exquisite!!! Everyone at the wedding remarked on the beauty of the floral designs.

Sheila Smith is an AMAZING FLORAL DESIGNER! !! We had plans on going with a different florist but were not feeling confident. The florist didn't get what my daughter, the bride was striving for.
We attended the Baltimore Bridal Show and Sheila Smith's display was exquisite. We thought we certainly couldn't afford that level of quality and beauty. We were wrong. Her engaging helper, Marty, chatted with us and after a few moments we knew we were onto something special. We then spoke with Sheila and my daughter immediately knew Sheila understood what she was trying to achieve. After our consult we never looked back, only forward with confidence. Sheila helped us create the ambiance for our evening wedding not only with her beautiful floral designs but with wedding decor tips that were extremely helpful.
Everyone at the wedding was remarking about the stunning beauty that the floral design created. The amount and type of designs were affordable and very competitively priced.
I highly recommend Sheila Smith floral designs for any type of event when you want a top notch statements in floral designs.

In a word: amazing! When you have so many wedding decisions ahead of you, it is overwhelming to select the most perfect vendors. However, Sheila made the decision for a wedding florist easy. My now husband, Mike, and I met with Sheila one night early in the planning process at a Panera Bread. I showed some Pinterest inspiration photos, and Sheila did the rest! All I had to do was say what I loved, and Sheila was sketching and suggesting design options. You can tell when someone's profession is exactly what they were meant to do, and what they are passionate about. I knew I could trust in her! We had a beautifully worded, detailed proposal within days after our meeting. I knew it was all perfect!!! From then on, I had to communicate with Sheila several times and she was always available through email or by phone. Always professional, kind, and quick to respond. Toward the end, also very assuring. At the end of the process, when I was stressed about everything coming together, Sheila was the "calm". She was all about the details, as I was. She knew that the small things like small candle votives on the tables would all add to the beauty of the reception. She continually said to me "you just relax and enjoy this special time". Sheila told me from the beginning the bride's bouquet should be the most elaborate. Full of plush white flowers of all kinds and wrapped in gorgeous lace with pearl details. Gosh it was gorgeous!!!!!! I was in love. It was all the dress and I needed. The floral arrangements I saw later at the reception took my breath away. No one could stop talking about the flowers. Sheila personally set up everything just so perfectly. I loved that she always said she would handle the details, no one else. Everything was a true reflection of my personal style. I could go on and on! Sheila, thank you so very much for adding so much beauty and elegance to our special day. We couldn't say enough wonderful things about you.

I cannot write in a box how grateful we are to have had the chance to work with Sheila. Sheila did the flowers for my wedding and they were absolutely beautiful and helped set the stage for the ambiance of the wedding. The initial consultation was great because she helped come up with suggestions for what I should do - I barely know anything about flowers, and I had to tell her a general idea about colors, theme, and my vision for the wedding day. I got married September 6. We started planning a few months before and Sheila came up with some very beautiful ideas. I just worked with Sheila for my wedding last weekend! Everything was absolutely perfect and exactly what I wanted it to be! Sheila did an outstanding job of bringing my vision to life. My centerpieces and bouquets were absolutely breathtaking. Every single flower used was beautiful, fresh, and completely flawless. We had high and low flower arrangement centerpieces that really made the entire reception area. My bridal bouquet probably weighed 10 pounds! It was so thick and full of gorgeous ivory roses.

Sheila was extremely accommodating and a pleasure to work with. She did an amazing job of taking my vision and adapting it to my budget. I was able to get absolutely everything I wanted.

Sheila does everything herself from the delivery, to the set up and cleanup. I was in always in direct contact which made for a more personal and trustworthy experience. The week of the wedding I asked Sheila if she could add several more centerpieces because my fiancé and I had under estimated the amount of tables we were going to have. She made the additional centerpieces without a problem or complaint. I would without a doubt recommend Sheila to anyone getting married or planning an event.

When I asked Sheila for an unsual bouquet for my bridesmaids, she delivered. I was concerned b/c I hadn't seen the flowers until the day of the wedding and they were gorgeous!

I met Sheila at a wedding expo in Baltimore. She had a beautiful display of flowers with hanging votives.
It was by far the most impressive display at the expo, so I took her card. I contacted her and we met a couple days later. She and her husband are down to earth, helpful, trustworthy and above all else - AMAZING FLORISTS! She worked quietly behind the scenes with the venue and church as to cause minimal stress for me. The day of my wedding she wasd on time, and prepared. Most of all the flowers were GORGEOUS! Almost every single person commented that they were the most beautiful wedding flowers they'd ever seen. Ask her to show you photos of Chris and Rachel's wedding at the hotel!!! AMAZING! I whole hearted provide this recommendation - you won't be disappointed!

I must admit that flowers were a huge focus for me when it came to the wedding so I was extremely picky in who we went with. Sheila, by far, proved time and time again that she was the optimal person for the job. Her creativity, responsiveness, candor, and flexibility far exceed our expectations. Her work (by far) made our wedding day beautiful. Our guest could not stop raving about it. We just told her a general visions and let her do the rest and the end result was breath taking.

Further, we had a situation where our ceremony venue changed at the last minute which required us to rethink the decoration. Not only did Sheila respond quickly to the changed but helped us creatively rework the set up so it was perfect. I would use Sheila again in a heartbeat!

We were so impressed with Sheila and her work that she did with the centerpieces and bouquets. I went into our initial meeting not sure what direction I wanted to go in with our flowers. I had brought along a few pictures and Sheila took it from there. She was also very accommodating when it came to trying to stay within our budget. The bouquets were absolutely stunning. My orchid filled bouquet was one of the many highlights in our pictures. We didn't have a chance to check out the venue before the wedding started, so we had put all of our trust in her setting up the tables and decor. When you walked into the tent, it was breathtaking. So beautiful that many of my guests could not stop talking about. Definitely something you would see in a bridal magazine. We would recommend her to any of our friends getting married!

About a week before the wedding, I realized that we would need an extra table. We had already paid Sheila for the flowers, and I told her not to worry about it, but I didn't want her to be surprised when she was setting up, that we would use bouquets to decorate the bridesmaid table, and it was no big deal. She insisted that my wedding needed to be perfect, and made an extra centerpiece. The flowers were gorgeous, my bouquet was everything I had ever wanted, and I could not have been happier with the service Sheila provided.

I had a loose idea of what I wanted for my wedding and after talking with Sheila and showing her some images of my dress, the venue, and bouquets that I liked, she was able to come up with the most beautiful bouquets ever. Exactly what I wanted and had envisioned. I also did my tables in a sort of DIY style and Sheila supplied me with buckets of big beautiful blooms. They were breathtakingly beautiful. WOW! Is all I can say - Sheila captured my vision PERFECTLY. I cannot tell you how many comments we received on our flowers. They were so gorgeous - very full. Sheila blew us away from the beginning. When we started wedding planning, I knew the over all feel I wanted for our wedding, but had NO idea how to actually explain it as I knew very little about flowers. I saw Sheila's display at a bridal show and knew she was what we needed! She was very accommodating and came to us for the consultation. We never felt pressured to sign anything until we were ready, but I knew right away we wanted her. She was able to interpret my mental image into a gorgeous display that I would have never been able to truly explain. She went out of her way to track down an out of season flower I loved just so I could have it in my bouquet. She was also very flexible to all of our very last minute additions and we felt her price was more than reasonable. Sheila was also a huge help in recommending colors and styles of linens and lighting to really help the reception come alive. We are beyond pleased with out outcome. Thank you again Sheila!

I hope I can find the words that are strong enough to express just how extremely pleased we are with the service and design Sheila provided for our wedding on Nov. 02 ,13! From the moment we met her we were describing our "vision" to her in ways like " sexy woodsy" , " rustic but elegant" and " bringing the out doors in" . Sheila seemed to get our vision and was so excited to put the design to paper and give it a life of its own. Our vision was of a fall theme with lots of branches and fall foliage along with tree stumps and wood slices with a minimum amount of flowers, sounds strange I know. It was important to us that the branches be real ones from our wooded property so, we literally had a landscaper cut a dump truck full of branches ( with leaves attached) from the trees on our property and haul them down to the Venue where we were holding our wedding. The rest seems like magic! Sheila came in as planned and turned the Venue I to a sexy woods, out doors in fall themed wedding!!!! It was MAGNIFICENT to say the least! It was exactly what we were looking for and then some! We could not be more pleased .I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Sheila Smith to anyone .

There are not enough nice words to say about Sheila and her wonderful skills! From day one she made everything so easy and listened to everything I had to say. We made several changes early on with the flowers, but even the last minute changes she was quick to accomodate! The flowers were absolutely beautiful and really helped to make our tent look fantastic. My bouquet was gorgeous! It was absolutely perfect! And the bridesmaids bouquets and groomsmen's boutonnieres were wonderful! I couldn't have asked for anything better! I don't even know where to begin! From the moment I saw you at the timonium bridal expo, I immediately knew I had to have you as my wedding florist. There was no way I was going to pass up your beautiful work! When I met with you in February, you made me feel so comfortable especially for someone who doesn't know much about flowers. Sheila designed the flowers for our wedding at the Gramercy Mansion on September 15th. The flowers were above and beyond what I expected! From the very beginning, she made the whole experience pleasant and easy. She has a great vision and creates beautiful arrangements. She surprised me with a gorgeous beaded applique on my bouquet on the day of the wedding that happened to match the beading on my dress and I loved that. Sheila provided the center pieces for the rehearsal dinner. We met only one time as I live in Boston . She listened carefully to what I wanted and I got exactly what I ordered. It was amazing. Sheila Smith did my flowers for my wedding and I could not have been happier! My event was a few days after hurricane Sandy and she was supposed to get the flowers from NYC (which unfortuantely did not happen). I was of course a nervous bride and Sheila worked her magic by getting other flowers from other contacts to meet my design for my special day. My guests were floored with her unique arrangements and beautifully arranged pieces. The flowers were above and beyond my expectations as she incorporated a variety (i had never even seen before) of beautiful fluffy garden roses and in varying pink shades. I don't know what the flowers would have looked like from NYC but she went above and beyond expectations with these flowers! She even specially designed the arrangements so that I could have all the guests take them home to enjoy after my wedding. I also was quite impressed and I cried when I saw my enourmous bouquet. I chose images off of pinterest for Sheila to use as a baseline when designing my bouquet. I kept getting compliments from my guests saying they had never seen feathers incorporated into a bouquet like mine and that it was so unique and beautiful. I will recommend her to any bride as I love Sheila's design and taste.. A+++ !!!

Sheila was my first and only choice for our wedding florist; I described the ‘theme,’ location, colors, and atmosphere of our wedding and Sheila helped tie it all together with flowers. Out of my description of “I want something organic-like with a natural feel but still elegant for a wedding, with the main colors being greens and whites, not really ‘flowery’ but obviously it needs to have flowers,” she created center pieces that people are still commenting on over a month later! They were exactly as I had, or hadn’t, imagined, but exactly what I wanted. Half of the tables had floral arrangement center pieces, the remaining had different birdcages which Sheila suggested placing wheat grass in. They turned out magical. I also had these birdcage bookends (hard to imagine) but another description I gave her was “can you put a smaller but more wild version of the flower arrangements in the center of these?” They turned out beautiful-whimsical but still very organic! My bouquet and bridesmaids’ bouquets were simple and elegant, wrapped in satin and twine at the handle, complimenting the other décor that was in the wedding. After I walked away from the tent for the last time before the ceremony, I didn’t know what to expect but my vision; when I came back to the tent as a married woman, my breath was taken away. Everything was, well, breathtaking. Sheila is responsible for a large chunk of that perfection. She truly ‘got’ me and my (now) husband after we met, and designed the flowers to a wedding that people knew were simply “John and Jen.” I highly recommend Sheila to any brides looking for a florist who designs and creates with a personal touch. For my wedding I wanted simple, organic, and elegant, and was delivered it with utmost attention to detail. Sheila can please for clients all over the board, from the quiet touches and simple flowers, to grand flowers. Sheila was great to work with, and helped make my wedding planning a memorable and happy experience.

Sheila's floral creations blew me away! First, we met with a handful of florists and decided to go with Sheila because of her experience, prices, and coming to us recommended. We met and we discussed our overall feel of the wedding. She was so great at making suggestions based off of some photos that I had and based on the venue and theme. She always responded to questions quickly and was willing to edit the quote at any time. She even met with me again when I started to change my mind a little about some of the flowers. When she showed up at my house the day of the wedding to drop off the bouquets, I was blown away and gave her a big hug. I was so, so happy and there wasn't one thing that I would have asked her to change. She made the flowers on the chairs for the ceremony look so simple yet beautiful. When we went upstairs to look at the tables we were again so thrilled. Earlier that week, she picked up a lot of vases from my home that I had been collecting for over a year. OMG- that is all I can say about the flowers Sheila did for our daughter's wedding at the Grand Lodge in Hunt Valley last month. Literally every one of the 250 people in attendance GASPED when they walked in the room. The flowers made the entire event even more sophisticated and elegant, and the recommendations of high and low arrangements, coupled with GIANT sprays and crystals and vases were absolutely breathtaking. Sheila did an exceptional job with providing the flowers that we needed specifically for our event. We asked for Coral colored flowers and thats what we got. She had a scheduled time to arrive and she arrived early to make sure that everything was in order and the quality for the event. All I can say is that this is the BEST FLORIST EVER!!! She worked with me on price and detail of every arrangement, ensuring my day would be perfect. I cannot say one bad thing about the owner/florist because she has got to be Maryland's best wedding florist. She made my vision come to life and she is currently working on my friends wedding, as well. She offered to give my friend a great deal, as well, and work within her budget. When I think of words to describe Sheila's personality, I think of genuine and caring. Now when I think of words to describe her work, (floral designs), they include, Magical, Phenomonal, Awesome and I can go on and on.
Following appointments and visits to several floral shops, my daughter and I chose Sheila to design the florals for her September 2011 wedding. During our initial meeting, Sheila asked her to describe her vision of exactly what she will like. Sheila listened attentively to her and the rest is history. We were able to see actual floral designs, not pictures (like we did at other places). When my daughter inquired as to what the pew bows will look like, Sheila only had pictures, so she actually proceeded to make one. Her service to her clients is so attentive, she makes you feel special. Sheila was able to creatively include a momento (in her bouquet)to honor the memory of my daughter's grandmother. Fast forward to the wedding day - the florals were picture perfect. Guests have told us that the florals were stunning. Each design so unique, never seen in most wedding magazines. It has been at least six weeks since the wedding and guests are still commenting on the beauty of the florals. Future Brides...if I could become a walking billboard for Sheila Smith Wedding and Event Floral Design, LLC., I would do so for free. :-) Sheila's professionalism and talent shows through her floral decor but what separates Sheila from the rest is the fact that Sheila has passion for what she does coupled with a genuine spirit/personality. Additionally, she has a way of capturing your floral design beyond what you can even imagine. Our wedding was simply gorgeous and thank goodness we have photos that captured the lovely floral design for our flower bouquets, ceremony, cake and reception. If you want an elegant, classy and/or a spectacular floral design for your special day, then I would highly recommend Sheila to do your floral designs. She, along with Chris, are absolutely the most wonderful people to help plan an absolute fabulous breath-taking floral design for your wedding where your guests will be in-the-state of awwww! My daughter's wedding was in June of this year, and everyone is still talking about the flowers at the church, cocktail hour and, of course, the reception. Trust me, you will not be disappointed by far. Her personal design of the wedding cake table is a must! Make sure you ask her about that, because it is a one of a kind. I have never seen anything like it and it was the talk at the wedding. I think once you meet with Sheila you will definitely be impressed by her ideas which she incorporates with your wedding scheme. I loved my wedding bouquet so much, that I took it to have it preserved. Can't wait to get it back.

Sheila is true artist AND a true professional! I can't recommend her enough to anyone who loves flowers and cares about the beauty of their event--and who doesnt??

During our first meeting, Sheila and I talked about the kinds of things I liked and what I was looking for in the floral element for my wedding. I was so impressed with how knowledgeable, creative, and detail-oriented she was. She took the time to understand my style and my wedding FIRST, and then worked with me to create a floral vision that was way beyond anything I could have come up with on my own. All of her suggestions were perfect for my theme and budget and I left with complete confidence that my wedding site would be beautiful.

And on the day of the wedding, everything was more than I could have hoped for! Every little detail was taken care of, and all the bouquets and arrangements were beyond beautiful. My bouquet was both beautiful and fragrant-- I could tell I was holding a piece or art that had a lot of care put into it.When I saw the room for the first time, it took my breath away! Guests were especially impressed with the centerpieces, which looked like they came straight out of a fairy tale.

I could go on and on! Sheila cares so much about the work she does and you can tell that she puts a lot of thought and pride into every little bit of every event she has a hand in. I felt so lucky that she worked on my wedding!

Sheila Smith was an OUTSTANDING florist!!! No words can describe our gratefulness to her for providing such wonderful service. Sheila is truly gifted and is an expert in her field. She did not merely design centerpieces or bouquets, but created works of art. She transformed our venue into a magnificent piece of art down to the last detail.

Sheila Smith is professional and her quality of work is out of this world. She was able to take our ideas and wedding theme, and create a masterpiece from the bridal bouquets to the centerpieces. Her vision for the lighting and drapery mirrored her passionate floral designs amazingly. She was extremely responsive to each and every email/call, and worked within our budget.

Her eye for detail was not like any other florist we visited throughout our planning process. The detail in each and every bouquet and centerpiece made it extremely individualized and special. The boutonnieres and corsages even had their own flair.

Without a doubt, I would recommend Sheila to any one of my friends and even a stranger for any event! She has a knack for fully grasping your vision and making it a dream come true!! Sheila will forever be a business associate as well as a terrific friend!

I ABSOLUTELY loved my wedding flowers. They were incredibly gorgeous and fit exactly with the classy, spring, romantic feel of our April 2012 wedding. I almost died when I saw how beautiful my bouquet was. From the table settings, to the church flowers, to the bridsmaids bouquets, I was blown away. I was so happy - which is the most important thing! - but we received so many compliments as well.

Sheila Smith Wedding and Event Floral Design, LLC were an awesome group. They gave us more than what we expected. I highly recommend this company to anyone. We met with Sheila after signing our contract with another Floral Company and we canceled our contract because Sheila focused on event floral design which is a big difference to hiring a regular florist. The flowers were top notch and we got more for our puck. We gave her our budget and she was willing to work with what we had and still gave us a beautiful arrangement down the wedding aisle and for our reception. People are still talking about our wedding and how gorgeous the setup was. Thanks for making our wedding beautiful

Sheila Smith did a great job making my idea for my wedding flowers into a reality. I was very specific on what I wanted my flowers to look like and she definitely made that happen. She also was able to make the price that I wanted to spend on my flowers work with what I was looking for and everything turned out beautifully. I wanted gold mercury compotes for each of my centerpieces and she was able to get the compotes for me to use. I would definitely recommend her!

I found Sheila on Wedding Wire and coincidentally she happened to also do my old college roommate's wedding as well. Sheila responded to emails quickly, which was important to me in a vendor. She also allowed me to change my proposal many times with what flowers I wanted to include up to a few weeks before the wedding day. I liked how her Facebook page had a wide variety of current photos of flowers she has done as well. She met us at our hotel to drop off the bouquets, the church for flowers there as well as the boutonnieres, and the venue too.

Sheila was really easy to meet with and discuss my "vision of flowers". Not knowing anything about flowers, she gave very good and helpful input. I wanted something very simple to bring the event together not to speak for itself and she did this! The flowers were gorgeous but not outspoken and came out exactly as we had discussed.

Sheila was great to work with. She understood what my overall look was for our wedding day. She really over stuffs the flowers in the vases which not too many florists do (or if they do, they charge more than her). The only hiccup was the groomsmen's boutonnieres were sent to the reception not the church. I called her the day of and the flowers were sent to the church. Since the groomsmen were at the church before the bridesmaids, there wasn't a timing issue. The venue looked gorgeous and everyone commented how on the beautiful flowers.

sheila was wonderful to meet. she spent alot of time with my daughter who had no vision of what her wedding would look like. Sheila showed us all kinds of flowers and arrangements. Sheila was also very easy to contact with her responces sometimes being returned in minutes. This is a great quality for a wedding vendor.
The day before the wedding the bride got a call that the flowers would be sent over around noon, the photographer was arriving about 10 am for the personal shots and that seemed to be a problem initially. Sheila was concerned that the flowers may not look fresh for that long of a time. Maybe she recieved them early in the week because it was Mothers day weekend, or maybe the type of flowers used dont have long life, but either way that caused concern. We had roses, orchids hysynthias among the flowers. I am not an expert but I have seen wedding flowers last a week. Sheila did bring the flowers over to the house sometime between 1030 and 11 and they looked beautiful. We were told by one of the vendors that she left a mess at the venue before she left, althou we didnt see that for ourselves. The room looked amazing with the centerpieces and everyone complimented us on them. I had mentioned at our initial meeting that I knew that my friends and family would want to take flowers home, my daughter said that none of her friends ever took flowers.. i guess I am old school.. anyway.. before all the guests were gone, Sheila was there to clean up. I saw her taking the flowers and throwing them into black garbage bags so i went over and said i wanted the arrangements. Sheila puts the arrangements into foam with no plastic liner container so its impossible to take home. I did ask for them to remove the roses from the arrangements and she did. The 2 large garbage bags were left there at the venue and were extremely heavy. Adding insult to injury, my husband had to remove the bags to the dumpster. While they were beautiful, and we were complimented, I feel that the cost of the flowers werent a value. I wish Sheila took that extra step to use the liner. Even if they died in a day, I wouldnt have to seen my hard earned money tossed in the garbage.
As I said, Sheila does amazing work, would I recommend her, maybe... if i had to do another wedding, I personally think that I would use a high quality silk flower even if it cost the same thing as real.

My groom and I almost had the perfect wedding day with the exception of the flowers we received and didn't receive from Sheila Smith. She sent FIVE bridesmaids bouquets instead of the SIX that we ordered and paid for. Not only were the bridesmaids’ bouquets skimpy and wilting considering the prices that were charged for them but they were different sizes. I was in tears just hours before my wedding because of the poor service and skimpy bouquets we received from this vendor.

When we first booked Sheila early-on during our wedding planning process she was very eager to please me as a bride but this changed abruptly during our final meeting that was two months before our wedding. She was very unaccommodating when it came to helping us to figure out ceremony and reception flowers that would be within our budget. Because of this we were forced to use Sheila strictly for our bridal party bouquets and boutonnieres to utilize the steep non-refundable deposit we paid her a year prior. We had to have another florist had to step in two months before in to provide flowers that we LIKED and within our BUDGET for our ceremony and reception. She has yet to accept responsibility for the poor service that she provided. I DO NOT RECOMMEND (do not use) this vendor to any bride due bad service, POOR QUALITY, and lack there of professionalism.

Sheila bitterly disappointed me on my wedding day. My bridesmaids bouquet's were skimpy and the pink roses in the bouquets were wilting. She also forgot one of the bridesmaids bouquets. I have attempted to contact her via email but she ignores all attempts of communication. I have photographic evidence of how wilted the bouquets were. I will be contacting the BBB
