Stress-free catering meeting all of our guests needs

Seth Mias did exceptional catering at a reasonable price to celebrate our wedding at Look Park. We were blown away by the quality and value of the food on all levels. Our guests were raving about the short ribs and chicken and even the veggies were a hit! The cobbler with ice cream was a fantastic way to end the meal and the servers were polite and helpful. Throughout our planning process, Seth was communicative and was able to accommodate all our 150+ guests and their dietary needs including personalized meals for vegans, many vegetarian options and keeping desserts with nut and gluten free. He met all our requests and worked with adding appetizers and desserts at a fair quote. Seth took the stress out of wedding planning. Thank you Seth

Delicious Wedding Food

Seth and his team are a must book! Throughout our wedding venue search he was recommended by many venues to us (even ones with in house catering) and we were so excited he was available for our wedding! He was such a pleasure to work with and made the whole planning process so easy. He was willing to work with all our requests and is very accommodating to dietary needs of guests. His food is absolutely delicious and our guests still bring up how good it all was when we see them!!

Seth and his team did an amazing job for my wedding on 10/19. We got so many compliments that it was the best meal people had, whether at a wedding or not, in a while! I would 100% recommend Seth to anyone looking for a caterer for any sort of event! We had a lot of allergies and dietary restrictions (gluten free, vegan, etc.) and everyone was quite happy with their meals! Thank you to Seth and his team!

Our guests won’t stop talking about the amazing catering

We heard so many positive reviews about Seth Mias Catering online, and by word of mouth, all across CT and MA! The communication was excellent, we knew we were in good hands from day 1. Seth was always accommodating and responsive when we had questions, and we had several scheduled meetings leading up to our wedding date to confirm all the details. The day of, the head chef Haley was extremely helpful and professional, as was the rest of her team. When we were having photos taken during cocktail hour, one of the catering staff was so kind and brought us a plate of appetizers. The jerk chicken tacos and grilled cheese/tomato soup shotglasses were absolutely delicious. We went with a self-serve buffet, which set up on time, with great presentation, and delicious of course. We had some guests with uncommon allergies, and they were very accommodating with everything. My wife and I were so caught up with dancing and enjoying the reception, that we didn’t have time to try any of the desserts, but we heard from our guests that they were amazing!

wedding October 29, 2022

As parents of the bride, we like to express our gratitude for taking our daughter's food allergy into consideration when he prepared her entire menu. The wedding tasting was delicious and just total reassurance that their meal choices would be prefect for their guest.
From the very 1st conversation , we were comfortable with Seth's knowledge , his demeanor and of course his positive reputation.
Seth played a huge part in making their wedding be a spectacular event for the bride and groom , family and guest. The cocktail hour was out of this world with the choice of unlimited hors
d' oeuvres. Our guest were so impressed with the spread Seth prepared.
Thank you Seth , for making this be such a magical wedding at Quonquont Farm in Whatley , Mass. with an outside cocktail hour that was only a start of the best day ever for Steph and Kyle.

Fantastic food!

We had compliment after compliment on our food we did a buffet with prime rib, roasted potatoes, veggies, pasta primavera and chicken Parmesan. We did a dessert bar as well as wedding cake that they sliced and placed out for guests. We can’t say enough good things about Seth and his crew. Great to work with!

Best Wedding Food Ever!

I don’t even know where to start. Seth’s food is indescribable. I first tried his cooking at Dakin Humane Society’s Mutts & Mimosas event and I knew that we had to book him. Best choice we made!
Working with Seth was great throughout the process. We postponed our wedding twice due to Covid and made some menu changes and Seth was so responsive and accommodating!
We had our wedding last Saturday and all everyone was RAVING about was how good the food was - from the hors d'oeuvres to the salad to the main meal to the cannoli served with our cake! The salmon and the short ribs were definitely the favorites of the night, but people only had very positive things to say about the chicken as well! I personally was obsessed with the bacon covered scallops. I have never had better scallops in my life. The only complaint I had gotten was that people wished they had more room to eat more!
Now that the wedding is over, I’m trying to find another event to hire Seth to cater for because I could eat his food forever.

The BEST wedding food ever!

Having Seth cater our wedding was an absolute delight from start to finish! Seth was amazing to work with and he helped us build a menu within our budget that we were really happy with. As for the food, it was AMAZING! We knew from the tasting that it would be good, but somehow it tasted even better on our wedding day. Almost every guest mentioned how much they loved their meal. We really couldn’t recommend Seth and his crew enough. They were the best in every way!

Great food, great staff!

We highly recommend Seth Mias catering; not only is their food delicious with generous portions, but their staff is friendly, professional and kept the day running smoothly. We received endless complements about the food that we had for the cocktail hour and reception. They offered a great tasting event prior to the wedding which allowed us to sample a variety of their menu options and got great advice from their staff when preparing for the day. We have been to other weddings catered by them in the past and have had great experiences as wedding guests as well!

Seth and his team DELIVERED! The food was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. All of my guests raved about it and said it was some of the best wedding food they've had. Highly recommend!

I was married in November at Mill1 in Holyoke, MA. My husband and I were instantly interested in Seth due to his high reviews and were completely sold after our first phone call with him. Seth is professional, efficient, patient and creative. He was willing to work with us to form our own menu and incorporate my husbands' family's culture into the food. We are still getting compliments about his food at the wedding which came out perfectly. We can't recommend him enough!

Delicious!!

Delicious food and incredible service!

You know you've hired a good wedding caterer when you tell your other vendors who's providing the food and they all say "Seth?! He's the BEST!!!" We heard nothing but amazing things about Seth Mias leading up to our wedding day, and now we can confirm that working with him was an outstanding experience! My husband and I still distinctly remember our first phone conversation with him at the start of the pandemic, when we were feeling extremely stressed and uneasy, especially when it came to our wedding plans. We had such a nice chat with Seth and after we hung up we couldn't stop talking about how kind and positive he was and how much more relaxed he made us feel. Fast forward over a year and one postponement later, and he absolutely DELIVERED when it came to the food at our wedding. He was so flexible, accommodating and willing to tailor his menus to our particular tastes, and our guests kept commenting on how delicious everything was. As one guest said, "I didn't know wedding food could be this good!" Thank you, Seth, for being so amazing!

Seth Mias and his team are AMAZING. They catered our vegetarian/pescatarian wedding for a fraction of what we had anticipated spending, and our guests absolutely LOVED it! Multiple people have asked if he has a restaurant so they could have more!! :) His staff also helped with the serving of food from a second (kosher) caterer, and the catering manager was very thoughtful about the requirements surrounding religious dietary practices for our guests. An all-around fabulous experience - highly recommended!!!

Seth Mias Catering was recommended to us from our venue and separately by friends of ours, and we are so glad we chose to work with Seth! First, Seth is just great to work with. He helped us narrow down our choices (since everything was amazing) and he was patient and understanding with us, especially when we had to postpone our wedding twice due to COVID. Additionally, all of his food is delicious. Everyone at our wedding was raving about the food and no one went home hungry! Everyone who works with Seth was amazing as well and made sure that we (the bride and groom) were able to eat some of the appetizers by putting some on our plates and checking in with us during dinner to make sure we were enjoying our meals. Seth Mias catering really goes above and beyond. We highly recommend Seth and hope we can work with him again someday!

Delicious food!

Ok let me just say, I personally never talked or met Seth, BUT he is the caterer for The Red Barn in Amherst, MA, where I had my reception. I cannot even describe how amazing his food is. We will always use Seth Mias Catering!

My husband and I were married on May 29, 2021, and were thrilled with the catering services from Seth Mias Catering. We worked closely with Seth to develop our menu. Each time we had a question regarding a selection, Seth was there to give us a detailed explanation and provide us with various options and recommendations. Seth was incredibly flexible while we crafted our menu during the pandemic. During our first meeting, we indicated that we had a few guests who would require specialized meals, and Seth was wonderfully accommodating. He allowed us time to make decisions and did not force us to make final decisions until a few weeks before our wedding. It was an absolute dream working with Seth. His kindness, professionalism, and flexibility are unmatched. Importantly, Seth is a wonderful chef. Every single guest at our wedding raved about the menu selections and their meals. We chose the prime rib au jus, the crispy statler chicken with cider reduction, and the halibut with lime dill honey mustard glaze, and each dish was delicious (my husband and I got to try them all!). Seth secured Hadley asparagus for us, which we were so excited to have. Seth’s team provides wonderful service as well. Each member of the service staff that we interacted with was friendly and personable, and there was always someone coming to check in with us to see if we needed anything else throughout the dinner service. My family has been using Seth for our catering needs for the last 15 years, and we will absolutely be coming back for years to come. Thank you so much, Seth!

It doesn’t get better than Seth Mias!

We found Seth on a “recommended vendor” list for a venue that we didn’t end up selecting. We were impressed by his reviews, menus, and pricing, so we kept him in mind while we were planning. When we finally found our venue, Seth was the first person we called. From that first phone call, when he let us put two different dates on hold as we solidified the venue, Seth was a dream to work with. He responded quickly via email, was upfront about all costs, and made the whole process a breeze. He holds a large, buffet-style tasting with his booked couples a few times a year, so we were able to make informed decisions about our menu. We recommend showing up hungry! We met with Seth at his office to decide on our menu in January and his personality really struck us. You can tell that he has a passion for what he does and he takes a lot of pride in making your wedding meal perfect. When our wedding day finally arrived, we had no concerns at all about the food. Our guests remarked that Seth’s food was some of the best, if not the best, wedding food they have ever had. They raved about the appetizers and no dessert was left behind! Seth’s team was professional, courteous, and efficient. We had a server assigned to the two of us, and when we couldn’t possibly finish our meals, they packed them up for us. One of our favorite memories from the day was sitting in our hotel room, remembering all the details and eating our delicious leftovers. If Seth is available, don’t hesitate to book him! Seth was amazing! So happy with the food we chose.

Seth was absolutely incredible to work with. I have celiac disease and it was extremely important to me that I not get contaminated on my wedding day (and I didn't!). Seth took so much care to walk us through what could be prepared gluten free (which was so much of his menu! We didn't feel limited in choices really at all). We went to one of Seth's tastings a few months before the wedding and it was so great to be able to sample so much of his food and use the tasting to inform our menu choices. Seth's staff was so unobtrusive and kind on the day of the wedding. They were very attentive and my husband and I felt like we really didn't have to worry about anything with regards to the food on the day of the wedding. Most importantly, everything was delicious! Even the simple roasted veggies (especially the potatoes!) were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The meat dishes were incredible as well, and we got so many positive reviews of the one gluten dish we did have which was butternut squash ravioli! The price was definitely reasonable as well for how unique and interesting the food was, comparable if not cheaper to everywhere else we considered.

Amazing food and service!

My husband and I chose Seth Mias Catering for our wedding because they were recommended through our wedding venue and they were amazing! There were no random fees, everything was straight forward when booking through them. Our first meeting with Seth was easy, he was very flexible and accommodating (we had some vegan guests). Aside from the ceremony, the food was our favorite part of our wedding. I'm still dreaming about the fried risotto balls. I seriously wish Seth Mias had a restaurant so I could eat his food more often. Also the staff was exceptional. We received several comments from our guests about the staff's attentiveness and excellent service. We also hired Donna M. (from Seth Mias) to set up and break down our wedding decorations and were so happy we did. It made my husband and my wedding day less stressful. She was quick to respond back to any emails and was there throughout our wedding night checking in on us (she even had a plateful of hors d'oeuvres/appetizers waiting for us at our wedding table). There was not a task too challenging for her and we would highly recommend her to help with decorations/wedding planning etc.

Allergy Friendly!

Seth was SO accommodating with our wedding - all meals were gluten free and nut free. He was so in tune with our requirements and was beyond flexible. I provided Seth with a family recipe for apple crisp and he went out of his way to get gluten free ingredients and made it for our family & friends. I would recommend Seth & his team in a heartbeat.

Delicious food!

Seth Mias Catering was recommended to us by our venue coordinator as he has done several weddings there before. We knew we wanted to do a buffet of BBQ food and we decided to book Seth without being able to do a tasting, simply based on his amazing reviews. We are so glad we did! We had email contact with Seth throughout our planning process and had a phone meeting with him a few weeks before the wedding as we live about 2 hours away. Seth was extremely helpful in giving us recommendations for which appetizers to pick and accommodating our specific requests. Most importantly, the food was incredible! We have had multiple guests comment on how delicious the food was, and I am so happy my husband and I took the time to eat on our wedding day, because we enjoyed it so much. I am still thinking about that delicious pulled pork!

Best Food at a Wedding-Hands Down

This is hands down the best food we have ever had at a wedding. Many of our guests said the same thing. Seth was a joy to work with. He offers an incredible variety of food and does it all well. From hors d'oeuvres, to salad, to the main course, to dessert, everything looked and tasted great. The portions are generous and everyone at the wedding was happy and well-fed. Once he understood our vision, Seth was able to give helpful guidance and suggestions in a supportive manner. He was super flexible and knowledgeable. We can't say enough about how fun and easy it was to work with Seth and the quality and quantity of food he produced was amazing!

Fantastic caterer!!

Seth was so easy to work with and he communicates very quickly through email. We had a buffet for our wedding and he walked us through the basics and let us customize options that weren't on the menu. We got so many compliments on the food and lots of people asked us for his name. We were told by so many people that they've gone to plenty of weddings and that our choices and the taste exceeded your typical wedding food. We even ran into guests a few weeks later who were out with their friends who said "oh, you had the wedding with the good food that they can't stop talking about!" Guests did not leave hungry!!! We also loved Seth's staff who was willing to go above and beyond for us. Seth also has a coordinator, Donna who is a life saver and I highly recommend you reach out to her before your wedding. She took care of setting up our desserts that were provided by a different vendor and setting up our late night snack of pizza. We have been trying to look for reasons to have another catered event so we can use Seth. You will not be disappointed!!!

Amazing Food!

We would highly recommend Seth! He catered our wedding in September and we had a great experience working with him, the food was amazing, and his prices were competitive. We wanted a vegetarian and seafood menu, and Seth was totally willing to accommodate. He worked with us to customize the menu and even put together a cobbler/pie bar with ice cream instead of traditional dessert! Everything was fantastic - nothing like the usual mediocre meal you get at a wedding. We've since had several guests from our wedding ask who our caterer was, because they want to use him for their own wedding. Choose Seth to cater your wedding - you won't regret it!

Outstanding food and service!

Seth was not only a pleasure to work with, but his food was unbelievable. Our guests were so impressed with the quality of the food and we received so many compliments about how delicious everything was. We were also very impressed by his pricing which was very comparable to other catering options, but was truly amazing in quality. Very satisfied with our choice!

Best experience!

I had hired Seth Mias to cater my wedding based solely on the reviews. I was an out of town bride, so had to rely on email, texting and telephone! The bridal suite was stocked with appetizers from an attentive staff, who continually came in and checked in on us. We had a plated meal, which was amazing from start to finish! The house made salad dressing alone was worth hiring Seth!

I had the salmon and my husband had the flat iron steak. I was a little nervous about the quality of the beef! It was so tender and juicy and cooked to a perfect medium rare. We also had stabler chicken as out third choice! Everyone commented on that as well. The presentation of all dinners was beautifully done!

I would highly recommend Seth Mias Catering. He and his staff were positively a dream to work with!

Over the top!

I have used Seth for several family events, based off of those it was no question that he would be my go to caterer for our big day! I was nervous going into our meeting because we were on a tight budget but Seth had me confident that would not affect our day. He was so reasonable on prices and knew exactly where we should be spending our money. The day of the wedding the waitstaff were so incredibly helpful, answering questions I never expected them to know. People having been talking about his Filet Mignon since the wedding! Everything was hot and served exactly how was written on my timeline so there was plenty of time for dancing. I would recommend Seth for any kind of party. I’m so glad we went with him!

Wedding cater

Seth catered my wedding in October. From the moment we contacted him, everything was smooth sailing. Seth made the entire process easy and stress- free. He was responsive and flexible to meet our needs. The guests at our wedding are still talking about how delicious the food was and the appetizers. He made vegan and gluten and dairy free options for a few guest. The staff was friendly and attentive. I would choose Seth Mias again in a heart beat for any future catering needs

Continued Return Customers

We chose Seth Mias to cater our wedding after attending many other events they put on as well as having him cater a surprise party for my Parents back in 2005. If anything, Seth has continued to grow and provide more services as well as yummier food (if that's possible!) with great success. Seth and his Staff were professional, provided an above and beyond service, as well as were timely about any questions we had. They blew us and our guests away with the yummy food, as well as their level of professionalism outside of the catering. The Event Coordinator services placed my mind at such ease the day of, the Catering Staff was stellar in their presentation/clean up/overall experience. We would highly recommend Seth Mias Catering!

Amazing food & service!

We hired Seth to cater our wedding and he was a delight to work with. During our meeting he was very friendly and personable. The selection of entrees, appetizers, salads, and desserts was awesome. My husband and I had trouble choosing because everything sounded so good. We had buffet style at our wedding and he knew just how much food would be needed of each entree without hesitation. For appetizers we had mini Philly cheesesteaks, Portuguese cod cakes, buffalo chicken tarts, tomato & mozzarella bruschetta, and risotto balls. I highly suggest all of the appetizers we chose. We received so many compliments throughout the night and people still talk about his food to this day. We were also able to rent the table settings and linens through him which was very convenient.

I am the Father of the Bride for the Kelly/Collins wedding on 10/6/18. I will tell you Seth came highly recommended and after the dinner we had I can see why. First, the food was absolutely outstanding! The appetizers we had at the cocktail hour were impressive to say the least. The dinner, especially the filet of mignon was the best I've ever had. I've been to most of the top steak houses across the country and this filet in my opinion was one of the better ones if not the best. Just as important, the staff was 100% on point serving everything on time, efficiently, and with a smile. I have had many, many people make a point of coming up to me (most of whom I didn't know) and tell me how good the food and service was. All I can tell you is they didn't miss a beat and I recommend this caterer without reservation. Keep in mind he is very popular and in demand so get with him as soon as you can.

Oh my gosh, I cannot rave enough about Seth! We discovered him totally randomly and I'm so glad we did! We were interviewing DJs, and two separate DJs in conversation were like "Have you booked a caterer yet? If not you NEED to check out Seth Mias." We did our research, met Seth, went to a tasting and were in love! It also helped that he is a frequent flier at our venue (Quonquont Farm - also awesome!) so our coordinators loved him. But everything was spectacular, the food we had at our tasting and wedding was some of the best food we've ever had (go with the porchini mushroom ravioli!). We had tons of guests come up to us during our wedding and after saying it was by far the best wedding food they've ever had. My dad even said it was the best steak he's ever had in general. The portions were generous and everything was beautifully plated. He covered our cocktail hour with butlered apps too. I voiced my concerns with him that while I love passed apps, I feel like weddings I've been to before the amount of servers and food going around always felt 'skimpy' and the guests end up chasing the servers around to get food. He ensured me there would be plenty of food & servers going around and there was - so many of our guests said they were stuffed by the end of cocktail hour and impressed with how much food was going around.
Seth is just the best - his staff, his food, just him! He's friendly and responsive.. You'll love him!!!

Seth was great to meet with and super helpful on deciding our wedding day menu! I come from a long line of Italians who know their food. Growing up I always joked I wasn't going to invite them because they were so critical of the food. They loved Seth's catering! Nothing but compliments on how much everyone loved the food!

If you are planning a wedding in western Mass, I would recommend you book Seth as soon as you can. The food that he made for our wedding was spectacular. Everything was perfectly cooked and plated - it was just amazing! His staff was so professional and attentive. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Our guests were raving about the food the whole night and still are telling us how good it was. Everything Seth cooks is amazing - and his prices are extremely reasonable. Additionally, Seth is just a really nice guy and so easy to work with. My husband has severe nut allergies and Seth was so accommodating with this. He eased our stress by assuring us that the sanitization of the kitchen would be such that we wouldn't have to worry. Thank you Seth and your team for all you did to make the food at our wedding SO delicious!

Seth Mias was one of our absolute favorite vendors to work with. My parents were beside themselves after meeting him, taste-testing his food, and learning about his process, prices, and customer service. He is just an all-around great guy! The food for our entire event was amazing, and we are still dreaming about it! We were so pleased with how everything turned out, and the entire process of finding, tasting, and planning with Seth was not only easy, but it was fun! We plan to recommend him to all of our friends and family, and we hope we will have another event in the future that requires catering just so we can reach out and use his services again! Seth and his team are absolutely amazing! From the service, to the responsiveness, to the food itself, Seth makes sure to provide an amazing experience.
As soon as I started planning my wedding, I already knew I wanted Seth due to his great reputation. At our meeting, he spent time with us going over menu choices and even a timeline of how appetizers and dinner would fit into the rest of the reception activities.
At the wedding itself, the service and food was outstanding. The passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour were to die for, and the portion sizes were perfect! Dinner was amazing - we chose prime rib, salmon, and a hazelnut-crusted chicken. Every single dish was perfectly prepared and completely delicious. I don't think I saw a single guest not finish their meal! The next day, guests were still raving about how much they loved their food. It was such a nice break from the typical "wedding food" - Seth's dishes are completely on-par with what would be served at a very nice restaurant!
We also selected a dessert table, which was amazing (definitely choose some chocolate-covered strawberries!). Overall, our experience with Seth and his staff far surpassed anything we could have wanted on our wedding day. My only wish is that we get to attend another wedding soon where he is the caterer!! Thank you again for making our day so unforgettable.

Seth and his team are kind, professional, and truly talented. After attending tons of weddings, we were not convinced that it was possible to have a good banquet food. Seth changed our minds. The food was delicious and we received so many compliments from our guests. But the really amazing part about Seth is that it is actually affordable. We met with several vendors who all offered us less food, for significantly more money. Seth was able to offer fair prices without sacrificing quality. Seth mias catering knocked my wedding out of the park!!! First dealing with Seth was always a pleasure. He always returned calls and emails with accurate and personable information. Next his food was unreal!!!! The brisket and pulled pork were perfect!!! Out of 113 guests there was not a single complaint..only praise for the food! We had several guests ask for his information to cater their next event or wedding. The staff was amazing at set up and take down. They even went above and beyond with helping one of our guests after they had made a mess on themselves. I can't recommend Seth mias enough! You will not be dissapointed!!!

Seth Mias Catering did an absolutely amazing job and I cannot recommend his catering services enough! We used this vendor for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding. We were able to create special menus for both nights that were not repetitive in any way. Seth make the process so much easier and is incredibly responsive. It's like working with a friend who has your best interests in mind the entire time. In addition, he has a wonderful staff that were so helpful and offered to assist with things that were not in their job description, such as setting up place cards. They offered to provide a plate of appetizers if we were not going to take part in the cocktail hour and were just constantly willing to help. I really wanted an ice cream sundae station and they just did a fabulous job with it. He also accommodated several guests' food allergies without blinking an eye. For weddings or any special events, you should absolutely use Seth Mias Catering. I received countless compliments on the food both nights and I am so glad we used this vendor! If I am ever hosting another event in this area, I will without a doubt be using Seth Mias Catering again! Thank you Seth and staff for helping to make both my wedding and rehearsal dinner so memorable!!!!

Best food ever! I have been to so many weddings where the food was cold, undercooked, or just not that great. We decided to go with a BBQ buffet and the food was so good! Huge portions, a bunch of options, and no issues at all. Everyone raved about the food afterwards and how good it was.

Seth Mias was the caterer at the venue, we did not have a choice in that, and boy am I happy we didn't! I signed up for the large group tasting that the venue hosted, and was extremely disappointed, I only had the opportunity to try 1 or 2 items that we had requested. I talked to the event coordinator, who talked with Seth, and he agreed to host a private tasting for us. The food was incredible, he altered the set menu for us, and I could not be happier. He was professional, funny, accommodating to food allergies, and beyond talented. Everyone has said that the food served at the wedding was not only their favorite of any wedding, but honestly, some of the best food they've ever had. I can't rave enough about how talented Chef Seth is, I would love to hire him for any event that I need catered.

We had Seth Mias catering for our wedding this past August and I have nothing but wonderful things to say if Seth and his team! Not only are they easy to work with, creative, and the food is delicious, but they are good at improvising and helping to make you special day run smoothly! We had Donna as our day of coordinator and she was on top of everything! It would not have gone as smoothly has we not chosen this amazing team of caterers! Oh and to top it off, this is the most reasonable price you will find anywhere around - but what you get is absolutely a million dollar meal and even better service!

Seth Mias is an absolute DREAM to work with! My husband and I recently got married at the Garden House at Look Park which requires you bring in your own caterer. Since we neither of us are from that area, we were pretty clueless on who to choose. Luckily, the venue provided some recommendations and Seth Mias was included. After reading nothing but rave reviews, we chose him and couldn't have been more happy with our choice. Seth was super helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. Any questions or concerns we had, Seth addressed them in an extremely timely manner. And the food! SO GOOD! For our wedding, we went with a cocktail hour of passed hors d'oeuvres and a buffet dinner. Let's just say our guests left filled to the brim and wouldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was.
So you must be thinking, wonderful person to work with, amazing food, what about the price? By far, Seth Mias' prices are the most reasonable ones we've ever seen. For what you get in food and customer service, he could be charging twice what he does. If he did, I'd probably still recommend him because of how seamless and stress-free our experience was. Seriously, if you need any sort of catering in an area Seth Mias works, go for him. You will not regret it.

Trust their Suggestions. When I first started looking to plan my wedding I thought that I had to spend big bucks to feed my guests. The food was amazing, the staff was fantastic. Whenever I emailed Seth,he responded back really quickly. In fact I booked him with 30 minutes of emailing him. It was crazy great. All of my guest remark on how great the food was. I had family style dinner and was told to keep my tables to 8 maximum. That was a great suggestion and I ended up taking their advice. At the end of the day everything was delicious, the vendor was so easy to work with. I love them. Also their price was wicked reasonable. See everything was so amazing I didn't care about the money.

I cannot say enough nice things about Seth and his team, they are incredibly professional and the food is absolutely delicious. They were accommodating of allergies (at a buffet wedding) and kept the bridal suite stocked with snacks before the ceremony and during cocktail hour. Our guests continue to tell us how amazing the food was and no one was ever concerned about running out or the temperature not being where it should. Their menus are extensive, it was hard to select a defined menu! Seth knows what he is doing and our guests felt very taken care of. I would definitely recommend them!

I can't say enough good things about Seth Mias! Every dish we had at our wedding from Seth Mias was delicious, and the service was impeccable. During our cocktail hour and reception, Donna (the catering manager) and her team checked in with my husband and I to make sure we had food, drinks, and whatever else we needed. And the food... so many of our guests remarked on how good the food was! We selected a stationary cheese display and a few passed appetizers for cocktail hour, and a plated salad with buffet option for dinner. Seth was easy to work with & able to accommodate different dietary needs even with a buffet option, flexible in his offerings and so affordable for the amazing quality food!

Seth was extremely friendly, down-to-earth, and reassuring as a caterer. We loved going to his tasting before our wedding as we got to sample a huge array of his salads, entrees, desserts, and appetizers. Seth worked with my husband and I to create special recipes (not normally in his catering repertoire) that related to our cultures (Jewish, Korean, and Dutch); this was a particularly meaningful gesture to us as he really worked to perfect these dishes. Seth was flexible, easy to work with, and interpersonally wonderful. He was on time to all appointments, and his team did a lovely job of serving and displaying our food. He was quick and easy to communicate with, and his food was excellent!! We loved our entire experience working with him and his team and would choose them all over again.

Seth Mias is incredible! He was recommended by our venue, and after reading all of the positive reviews for him, we booked him right away without even tasting his food. Soon after, we went to a tasting, and were thoroughly impressed! Everything was delicious, and it was difficult to select our menu because wanted to pick all of it. Seth was very professional and easy to work with, and he helped make recommendations and gave us ideas. His staff also helped with setting up small things at our venue the day of, which was a huge help. The food at our wedding was the best food I've ever had at a wedding, and our guests all agreed! Everyone wanted to know who catered our wedding and we were so pleased because food is really important to us! You also get an incredible value for your money with Seth Mias; other caterers charge much more for less food and less quality. You should absolutely book him, and you and your guests will love his food!

Seth Mias Catering did an amazing job catering our wedding. Seth was incredibly responsive to every email that we sent and was very easy to work with. He listened to what we wanted and then guided us through the perfect menu. He also provided us with the eggplant-colored linens we wanted to add more color into the room. Not only was Seth incredibly flexible and reasonably priced, his food was delicious. He provided us with hors d'oeuvres, a family-style dinner, a dessert buffet, and delicious coffee and apple cider. There are not many weddings in which the catering and food steals the show. I can confidently say however, that the recent Williams wedding was an exception. Everything was divine! From the crisp salad to the delectable meat, from the flavorful chicken to the scrumptious ravioli, people went up for seconds and thirds and were unabashed about it! We were unbelievable impressed with Set’s offerings and delighted that every single guest went home full.
In addition to the food, the catering staff was polite and courteous, working hard within a unique space to make sure that everything was ready on time, at the right temperature, and delicious. They even worked in conjunction with a family friend who came with a pig and pig roast to make sure that the Bride and Groom had the wedding of their dreams. Thank you to Set Mias and crew for an incredible evening of sumptuous food!

A nice touch was how they prepared a plate of food from cocktail hour for us so we got to try everything! We have been trying to figure out what we can do to eat Seth's food again

The first thing we noticed when we met Seth was how charismatic and passionate he is about cooking! Seth was happy to explain things to us, make suggestions regarding hors d'oeuvres and entrees, and share what had worked for other couples in the past - which is very helpful, because as anyone knows, planning a wedding comes with a learning curve!

All the food was delicious, flavorful, and presented beautifully. During the wedding, his staff checked in with me frequently, which was much appreciated. Our guests and parents raved about the tasty food!

His numerous accolades and awards are a true representation of his work! I promise you will not be disappointed! I highly recommend Seth and his crew!

I was so happy that we chose Seth Mias to do our catering for our wedding. Seth was very professional and polite. He helped us pick out our menu and it was a good price. We had no idea where to even begin when it came to choosing the food. He pointed us in the right direction. We chose to do the buffet and it was amazing. The food was delicious. Our guests wanted to keep going up for more. All of our guests said they loved the food, we had pretty good options. We also opted for the dessert buffet which was also delicious. Everyone had their choice of what they wanted for dessert. They even set up the reception hall for us. Everything was perfect.

We found Seth as a recommended vendor for the Look Memorial Park venue; after our first meeting, I was really pleased, a genuinely nice guy and really easy to work with. He invited us to a food tasting and after the tasting I was completely sold - his food is incredible and the breadth of his menu is exceptional - he's even willing to add any dish to your menu if you have something else or a special recipe in mind. The appetizers - lamb, macaroni and cheese bites, coconut shrimp, stuffed mushrooms, and crab cakes - easily some of the best food I have ever tasted. And the actual meal! My tastebuds are still yearning for the delicious potatoes and steak bernaise sauce two weeks later. During the wedding and after, the food was literally all anyone could talk about. Everyone who spoke about the food only had the utmost praise for Seth's cooking. We've been to multiple weddings outside of our own this year and no other food we've had could even hold a candle to Seth's cooking. In addition to all that, Seth and his team contributed to the beautiful setup at our wedding and the value we received for the cost was incredible. I am so grateful to him, since we would not have been able to put this wedding together without Seth Mias and I could not recommend him more to anyone who is searching for a caterer! If there were six stars, or ten stars available, we would certainly use those as a rating. Seth Mias and his team are essentially unbelievable. From the start of our initial contact, Seth answered all our questions, addressed our concerns and was able to execute our event without any issue. The tasting we attended prior to the event made the food selection difficult, as every item we sampled was incredible. On the day of the event, Seth and his team arrived early, set up all of our tables, provided us with rental equipment that we needed, plated the food in a very artistic manner, and served all the guests in a very organized and efficient manner. Our guests have not stopped commenting on the food. They say that it was the best food they have ever had, that it was so rich in flavor, and the portions were generous. Everyone loved their meal from start to finish, including us. Seth helped me work through a few logistical issues that came up and really helped put my mind at ease. He far exceeded our expectations and we recommend him for any event, without reservations.

I can't say enough good things about Seth Mias and his company. As soon as we got engaged, he was my first email. Throughout the whole process he was easily reachable and responded quickly to any questions I had. His menu is huge, but he does not sacrifice quality in any way. We had a buffet meal, and there was plenty for everyone to eat. I had people coming up to me all night asking who did the catering because they loved it so much! My mom and brother are both very picky eaters, and he made a special entree just for them.
He books up quick, and I understand why. If you haven't contacted him yet - do it! You won't be disappointed.

Seth is catering our wedding this August. He has been extremely flexible and helpful the entire process, but after meeting him to set up our menu I am even more impressed. Seth is easy going and truly makes the process that can be very stressful, a fun and enjoyable time. He arranged the menu and made changes according to our taste and is extremely accommodating. He is by far the best vendor I have worked with in the planning of our wedding and I would recommend him to anyone!

What can I say, Seth was amazing, the food was amazing, and his recommendation for cake was amazing. Seth Mia’s catering is all around great.
Seth was very flexible. We didn’t stick to the menu exactly as it was, we liked items on a menu that were not on the plan we had originally picked so, Seth worked with us to customize our choices. We also, had a request due to some health issues regarding restrictions, some of our guests have gluten allergies and needed things gluten free; this adjustment by no means affected the flavor of his food and Seth again was very accommodating to our request.
Seth’s staff, also amazing; they were professional, friendly and very, very helpful.
Communication with Seth was easy. We planned our event long distance. We met with him in person initially and the reset we planned via email. It was seamless and the final event was executed with out issue.
During the planning of our wedding we found out the bakery we wanted to use had closed. I asked Seth and with his recommendation we found the best wedding cake we ever had; we highly, highly recommend Seth, he’s professional and the food taste amazing.

Seth is an amazing caterer! He is helpful and his food is simply the best. There was not one complaint at our wedding. Guests actually approached us to ask who catered and if there was a restaurant they could go to to eat his food. The Mac and cheese bar at the end of the night was the best we have ever had. Seth is amazing. He is a super nice and down to earth guy as well as a very good cook! My wife and I had a unique menu in mind with an all Italian theme, something that wasn't on Seth's menu, but he was more than willing to customize the menu to what we wanted and provided a very reasonable price for everything. After our wedding the #1 comment was about how delicious the food was.

We can't recommend Seth enough, you'll be in great hands if you choose him as your caterer.

:-) O......M.......G. My wife and I used Seth Mias as our caterer at our wedding, and it...was..PHENOMENAL.

Chef Seth is great to work with. My wife, my mother in law, and I went up for our consultation and when there was a disagree between the three of us, he came up with some terrific ideas. His menu is extensive but everything he cooks is brilliant. The appetizers were mouth watering, finger licking good. He cooked an italian wedding soup which was easily the BEST italian wedding soup I've ever eaten. And then the main course- the beef, the chicken, the shrimp were all great (I sampled each one!).

Chef Seth was also very responsive to questions and concerns. In the week before the wedding, after we had given him the count we had some gluten concerns that he was right on top of! He was easy to get a hold of, quick to respond, and never lost his friendly demeanor!

On top of his food being off-the-hook, how responsive he is to any questions or concerns...on top of all that- his prices are incredibly affordable!! You can't top that, you simply cannot.

I literally cannot say enough great things about Seth Mias Catering, easily the best food I've ever tasted. He took our wedding and turned it up to 11!!

Seth Mias was amazing! When we went to the tasting there wasn't one dish we didn't enjoy.

For the cocktail hour we had an antipasto station (it was huge!!) and passed apps (lamb lollipops, crab cakes, artichoke feta canapé, herb & cheese stuffed tomato) - all of which were delicious. Seth knew we wouldn't be back from pictures in time so he thoughtfully had a plate of apps waiting on our table for us when we entered the reception.

Dinner was also fantastic (Filet w/gorgonzola sauce & portobello mushroom, Shrimp scampi over asiago tortellini, and grilled balsamic chicken). Everything came out nice & hot and cooked perfectly. All of his timing was spot on.

We would highly recommend Seth Mias to anyone looked for a excellent caterer. He was easy to work with, very quick to respond to emails/questions, the food quality & flavors were perfect, and all at a ridiculously good value!!

Seth Mias and his team did a fabulous job on our wedding! I've heard many, many compliments from our guests about how much they loved the food! We had quite a few very picky eaters that are tough, hard to please critics...and all of them raved about their meals! The filet is worth the upcharge and we loved the locally sourced asparagus from Hadley! The prices are so reasonable compared to the other caterers I had contacted and I don't feel there was any sacrifice to quality or service. My mother even requested him from the kitchen to give a personal thanks and compliment to the chef (and my mother is not one to do these sorts of things!). He is responsive, professional and easy to work with. I'm so happy with Seth's service that I've recommended him to quite a few people already and hope anyone considering a caterer in the western mass area that you check him out as he is AMAZING and works with you to create the perfect meal from start to finish! You will not regret it!

Seth was so wonderful to work with from start to finish. We approached a few area caterers with our long-dreamed of idea for a baked potato bar as the main course at our fall wedding, and a few were clearly unenthusiastic about it, I think based on the economical aspect of our choice. Seth was supportive, into making the idea awesome instead of writing it off as easy and boring, and so fair and kind about our budget. The side dishes and appetizers were all amazing, we still have friends and family telling us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. When I realized a week before the big day that I had a relative who doesn't eat potatoes and panicked he added a side dish of butternut squash ravioli and everyone agreed it was one of the best things they ate all night. His staff was professional, all of our communications were straightforward, and we didn't have to think twice about anything other than eating it on the day of. Thank you so much, we can't recommend you enough Seth and team!

Seth Mias Catering is without a doubt one of the best caterers not only in Western Mass, but in the New England area! We had the pleasure of having Seth prepare food for both our rehearsal dinner and our wedding. Everything was delicious from the appetizers to the desserts. Seth, the owner, responds quickly via email for being such a busy man. Seth takes pride in his work, he is professional, and overall just a food loving friendly guy. His personality, organization, and presentation are just a few of the reasons that sold me on choosing Seth Mias Catering. From the moment we met, I was impressed with his enthusiasm and experience.

We chose to do a double sided buffet for 187 people including the Sirloin Steak, Hazelnut Crusted Chicken, and Eggplant Parmesan. We also chose 5 passed appetizers with a cheeseboard which provided plenty of food for everyone. Seth was flexible with last minute menu changes and did his best to provide us with the best service possible. His bartending staff did a great job managing 2 bars, making sure to handle our alcohol so that we were only left with a few opened bottles - allowing us to return the rest for refund.

All of our guests loved their food and only had positive things to say. We are so happy with our decision! I HIGHLY recommend Seth Mias Catering - he is the best!!!!

Hands down, Seth is the best caterer in Western Mass. I was beyond impressed with the food and presentation. Our guests are still raving about it! I was an out-of-state bride and Seth was incredibly responsive throughout the whole process. I only wish I had more room in my dress to eat more!

Seth and his staff are the most wonderful people to work with. From the first meeting you'll feel very comfortable and in good hands. He really knows his stuff. We had him cater our wedding for 150 people.

Our guests commented on how delicious the food was and how much they got of everything. My aunt said that the pear, walnut, gorgonzola salad is the best she had ever had and would never had expected something like that at a wedidng. The cheese spreads that he has are amazing, too.

Seth really goes above and beyond to make sure he attends to everything you've talked about along the way, and we really felt like he was listening to us and accommodating to what we were asking for. You really get a lot for the price you pay.

Also, his tasting really gives you a good idea of how good the food is.

He is very personable and fun to work with, I would recommend him to anyone looking for a caterer for any event.

We used Seth Mias Catering after attending a wedding he had done last year at Look Park. We (more my husband, then myself) had chosen to have our wedding at his family's farm. I knew this was going to be a challenge. Seth was very enthusiastic about this and despite my reservations managed to calm my fears and make me feel this was going to be OK. I never imagined that this was not only going to be OK, but was absolutely amazing! He and one of his assistants came a week or so ahead to "scope out" the situation. They came up with a plan for cooking some things onsite and having a few things transported. His staff arrived in plenty of time to set up and even changed a few things around to make things flow better. The entire event went so smooth. His skill at serving so many people (176) quickly and efficiently - with everything hot and delicious was incredible. His staff was very professional and responsive to the needs of our guests and paid particular attention to a few of my elderly relatives! I would recommend him highly. His price was well within our budget and even left us some so we could add some fun touches. The creativity of he and his assistants made our day even more special than we could have imagined.

I can't say anything bad about Seth Mias Catering. His willingness to work with last minute changes blew me away and he took on more than what would be expected from a caterer. Seth Mias worked well with the staff at the venue to help make my wedding a sucess, even with a 'momzilla' on his back. Almost all of my guest had asked me who the caterer was so they could use him for events. I only wish I was hungry enough to eat more than I did.
