We were beyond lucky to find Taryn and Serendipity Cinema through a glowing referral from our wedding photographer — and everything she told us about how incredible they were was true… and then some! From the very first email, I could tell that Taryn was something special — warm, genuine, attentive, and deeply passionate about her craft.
We couldn’t believe our good fortune that she was not only based right in our hometown of Phoenix, but also travels to Southern California, where our destination wedding took place. From the start, her detailed and heartfelt questionnaire set her apart. It wasn’t just about logistics — it was full of sincere, thoughtful questions that showed she truly wanted to understand who we were as a couple: our story, our dynamic, our vision for the day, and what moments and emotions mattered most to us. It made me feel so confident that our film would reflect us — not just our wedding.
On the big day, her videography team was an absolute dream to work with — punctual, polished, professional, creative, kind, and upbeat. They communicated beautifully, worked seamlessly alongside our photographer, and stayed calm, focused, and joyful even through the Labor Day weekend heatwave. You could tell they genuinely loved what they were doing.
We also added on the Voast Booth, and it was hands-down one of the biggest hits of the night! Our guests couldn’t get enough of it — laughing, celebrating, and leaving heartfelt, funny, and tear-jerking messages we’ll treasure forever. Everyone raved about how much fun it was, and it added such an interactive, personal touch to the evening.
As if all that weren’t enough, Taryn even came through with a magnificent wooden cross for our ceremony when I couldn’t find one to rent anywhere. It was stunning — even more impressive and meaningful in person than in photos — a truly breathtaking, statement piece that tied everything together so beautifully. Her team handled the delivery, setup, and teardown flawlessly, taking all the stress off our plate (and off our planner and resort staff). Talk about full-service and above-and-beyond care!
Now that the wedding has passed, we’ve received both our teaser and feature films, and we are absolutely blown away. Watching them feels like stepping right back into the best day of our lives — the emotions, the laughter, the joy, the tiny fleeting moments we didn’t even realize she captured. The editing is cinematic and emotional, the music and pacing are perfect, and the drone footage is nothing short of magical. It’s artistry on another level.
I’m also so glad we added on the coffee table book — it’s such a beautifully curated keepsake, elegant and convenient, keeping our memories within easy reach to relive anytime we want.
Taryn is an extraordinary storyteller, a true artist, and such a caring professional. Her work is heartfelt, cinematic, and deeply personal — everything we could have dreamed of and more. I can’t recommend Serendipity Cinema enough. If you’re lucky enough to have Taryn capture your day, you’ll not only get an incredible film, but you’ll also gain an experience filled with kindness, creativity, and joy. Where to start - right off the bat, Taryn was a dream to work with. She was extremely responsive, overly communicative, and patient in answering all of my questions. I always felt very secure that her team would have my wedding covered.
Now for the day of the wedding. Phil the video lead - wow, he was great to work with. Phil was hysterical, extremely professional, and had so many great ideas for our wedding film. I appreciated his bright energy and expertise. His assistant Isaiah was so sweet and kind. Truly a dream team to have at my wedding.
For content, we were fortunate to work with Talyn and Claire. Both were a breeze to have with us on the day of and the snapshots they were able to capture (especially those of the sunset) are beyond what I could have asked for.
If you're looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and vendor who is just as excited for your wedding day as you are, I would recommend Serendipity Cinema! -

Serendipity Cinema was AMAZING to work with! From the start even when we booked them over a year in advance, they were quick to send us an email and let us know what the process would look like going forward. They sent us a personalized portal to include all the details for the wedding day and make all the payments so everything was all together and made it extremely easy to keep track of. On the day of, our videographers were so professional. They were honestly so fun to work with and worked so well with our photographer. They had fun ideas of moments to capture and absolutely listened to everything that we had wanted for the video.
After the wedding, Taryn also sent an email detailing the timeline for getting our videos back and they completely surpassed my expectations!
The short reel and feature film were perfect - a perfect blend of all the emotional moments and the pure joy.
I've already watched so much of the footage and videos so many times.
You won't regret choosing Serendipity Cinema! We couldn't have asked for better videographers. -

Serendipity was an absolute dream to work with. Taryn and her team were incredibly responsive, friendly, creative, and talented. Phil and Clayton were a phenomenal ‘day of’ team – kind, easy going and brought such positive energy to the day, all while remaining totally unobtrusive with filming. They were truly an idealistic crew to work with and I am eternally appreciative.
And their work was indescribably beautiful. They have absolutely mastered their craft. My family and I were in tears of joy watching the teaser and full length films. The quality is impeccable, and the turnaround time was insanely fast considering how perfect the films turned out – about 1.5 weeks for the teaser and around 6 weeks for the remainder of the films.
I truly could not have asked for a better team to share such a momentous day with. -

Serendipity were SUPER professional to work with. Both my sisters-in-law used them for their weddings and they did an amazing job. The people who filmed our wedding were wonderful! My dad was so nervous that he couldn’t tie his bow tie and one of the videographers did it for him! So they were delightful to have around on our special day. We’re also thrilled with how all of our videos turned out. I think we went with an 8 hour package so they got everything from getting ready to dancing. We also got documentary style videos of our ceremony, toasts and special dances. I haven’t yet watched the toasts but I have all the others and they’re amazing. We had one small edit and they were super accommodating. And we got the videos within 4-6 weeks which was so exciting because they said it could take up to 4 months. Everything was super high quality - they even used a drone. Can’t recommend them more highly! -

My husband and I absolutely LOVE our wedding films. Thank you endlessly to Taryn and her wonderful team. We will cherish our day forever and our films help us to be able to re-live the best day of our lives over and over again.
My parents just went to a wedding where they said the videographers were in and out of the aisle, behind the alter, in front of the couple and overall, extremely distracting. I want to thank Serendipity for blending in seamlessly. My dad made a comment last night (after we watched our films again for the hundredth time) that the focus never shifted from me and my husband, which is exactly how it should be. The team truly felt like they were the fly on the wall in the best way and their professionalism while capturing our day was so appreciated.

When we began our wedding preparations, we knew great attention was needed towards finding the right videographers. I remember my husband and I visited with Taryn over Zoom so we could all see if this was going to be a mutually positive fit, which of course it was! Taryn was very accommodating, professional, and joyful in our meetings and the written communications to come. She and her team are incredibly thorough and detailed with their communications, sending proactive messages on what to consider and expect for your wedding videos, as well as a very comprehensive questionnaire so the video team has a good understanding of meeting your wishes. On the day of the wedding, the two videographers were absolutely a dream to work with - they were creative, efficient, and fun to be around. Even though we only met them the day of, we were happy to have them be a part of the celebration and capture it so perfectly.
We were in a unique situation of hosting a private, small wedding and two weeks later holding a public open-house style reception. We asked Taryn if it'd be possible to deliver a teaser video in the fast turnaround time and she confidently promised they could. Sure enough, we received the link a few days prior to the event and were able to distribute the video via email and QR codes so our guests could have a sampling of our wedding day. That video, as well as the feature length video, documentary video, and the distribution of the videos as a whole (including the raw footage) has been a very smooth process. I have a background in digital content creation and am very pleased with how Taryn and her team created the videos, responded to our suggestions for edits, and delivered them through their great portal system.
We strongly recommend Serendipity Cinema for anyone looking to document their special day in a beautiful, timeless fashion. You will not regret partnering with Taryn and her supremely talented team. -

We worked with Serendipity Cinema for our wedding videography and I am so thankful that we hired them! Our wedding was originally on 9/26/20 and we had to reschedule it due to COVID-19 for 4/24/21. Taryn (the owner) made rescheduling our new date as easy as possible! She was constantly in communication with us before our wedding day and after when delivering the final videos. During our wedding, we worked with two amazing videographers. They totally calmed my nerves with their professionalism and they had so many great ideas that they used in our video (one being capturing the AZ sunset that our photographer was able to also photograph!). To be honest, I wasn't sure about hiring a videographer for our wedding. It wasn't in our budget originally, however, I cannot tell you how impressed I am with Taryn and her videographer team. They truly captured our wedding day perfectly and now we are able to cherish it for years to come! I cannot recommend Serendipity Cinema enough. Our wedding feature film is truly a work of art and I can't stop watching it. If you want a team that includes a fast response time from the owner, a realistic timeline of delivery, an amazing team on your wedding day, and a beautifully captured video, go with Taryn and her team! :) -

Highly, highly recommend!
Taryn (owner) and the entire Serendipity team were just a dream to work with. Our wedding was in the middle of the pandemic (12/2020) and was extremely stressful as we became the hot zone in the world. Taryn always answered my phone calls, talked me off the ledge, was in constant communication with me, and gave me all choice of how to progress. My husband and I cancelled the 200 person guest list and kept it to immediate family, but our videos did not once feel like the wedding looked "empty". They were STUNNING!!!! Taryn got all 8 hours of footage fully edited and back to us so quickly, I was amazed!
Our Serendipity team captured the exact feel of our wedding, the picture and audio was incredible, and they worked their magic big time! I have no idea how they did it, but I didn't even notice face masks in the video. Our day-of cinematography team was a dream. They were the epitome of professionals, so kind, worked their tails off, were everywhere at once, and made it all look effortless.
And have I mentioned the footage is AMAZING!!! -

We decided last minute (like day before our wedding last minute) that we wanted to have a videographer and Serendipity made themselves available right away! We were so thankful they were able to cover our special day, but also amazed at how seamless the process was even with our last minute request! The final product was beautiful and we couldn’t have made a better decision to have them capture our special day! Communication the whole time was very prompt, clear, and professional. After my husband and I got engaged, we contemplated whether or not to hire a Wedding Videographer. We're both very sentimental and knew that we would likely have regret if we didn't have a wedding video. Now, with our wedding having passed, we couldn't be more happy with the work that Serendipity did. The Serendipity team was a flawless partner for our special day. They communicated extremely well and seemingly understood how to effectively capture all of the essential shots to help commemorate our day. We were overjoyed by the "trailer" that they provided us and we were absolutely floored when we saw the complete final edit. Serendipity masterfully produced a wedding video that far exceeded even our most ambitious expectations. If you are considering other videographers - don't. Serendipity is the only choice! -

The Serendipity team did such an incredible job with the whole videographer experience. They were so easy to get started with, asked questions that made sure they knew us as a couple, got the videos to us promptly and they far exceeded our expectations. On our wedding day, you could barely tell they were there but got the most AMAZING moments of our special day and worked behind the scenes in sync with our photographers. The videos were better than anything I could have imagined - for a company that has never seen us interact before, they captured our wedding as if they were a family member. They reflected our personalities perfectly, and knew based on a pre-wedding questionnaire. They have allowed us to relive our wedding day as many times as we want - better than our own memory can serve. There isn't even a choice whether to choose Serendipity or not! It is worth shifting pennies for this team… :) -

I am so incredibly grateful that Serendipity was on my wedding team. Taryn and her staff are kind, compassionate, responsive, and incredibly talented!!
I am a detail oriented person and I had a very specific vision for what I did and didn't want captured. Taryn sat on the phone with me listening and assuring me that they understood what I wanted.
The day-of team was very professional and made me and my friends and family feel at ease in front of the camera.
Then the video came, and it was PERFECT!!! Everyone I'v shown it to says it's the best wedding video they have ever seen and I agree! I had high expectations for this video and the finished product exceeded all those expectations.
If you're looking for a wedding videographer do yourself a favor and hire this dynamite team! -

Serendipity was absolutely phenomenal to work with. They have a variety of different packages, and extra customization options you can add to make sure you are getting exactly what you've always dreamed of for a great value. We were planning our Arizona wedding from Texas which presented the normal out-of-state challenges, but Serendipity did a wonderful job of staying in constant communication with us and making us aware of their planning timeline and what to expect. They also did a great job really getting to know us as a couple before our big day. On the day of, the Serendipity team was professional, thorough, efficient, creative, and accommodating. We just got married last month (February 2020) so we do not have our full video yet, but we are so looking forward to receiving it. They got us our wedding movie trailer within two weeks of the wedding and it had us and our family in tears. We were, and still are, absolutely speechless with their wonderful work. My husband was originally against having a videographer for the wedding, he thought it was an area we could save money, but I was adamant. After he saw the trailer the first words out of his mouth were "you were absolutely right, this is worth every penny and more" ... and we haven't even seen the FULL video!! Pictures are important, obviously, but there's an element that video footage captures that pictures will never be able to. THANK YOU Serendipity for capturing our day and allowing us to relive it forever. -

They were one of the first vendors we secured for our special day on Dec. 1, 2017 at the Arizona Biltmore. There's nothing like moving picture that brings you back to the story of your day. They captured our wedding day so beautifully, it transports me back to those joyous moments. We picked Serendipity because we love their signature style. I love how natural the colors are, true to the day as I will remember it. The team is an absolute delight to work with, I knew we were in great hands. I would hire Serendipity again in a heart beat. Cynthia Sent on 06/17/2016Serendipity. Is. Amazing. That’s truly the best way to describe this company. Super simple to book and the owner, Taryn, is a sweetheart. On the day of the wedding, I really only remember the videographers introducing themselves when I arrived at the venue… I don’t remember seeing them much after that. I am blown away by how discreet they were throughout the day but yet still managed to get every single money shot.
We received the wedding movie trailer while on our honeymoon and cried watching it for the first time. It amazes and astounds me that they were able to capture every big moment of our wedding in such a beautiful and artistic way. I felt that the trailer was a perfect depiction of the look and feel of the event – and it’s only 2.5 minutes! We are so excited to see the rest of the film when it’s ready.
Videography is the number one item that we feel was 200% worth booking and spending money on for our wedding. Of course, beautiful linens, flowers, etc. add wonderful touches to the day, but videography (and photography) are the only two items you will have afterwards to help you remember. It is an absolute joy to watch the trailer and see and feel the day in motion. It reminds you so vividly of how you felt! Joyful, nervous, emotional, elated... Whatever it is, they’ll capture and document it. My advice to any bride: Book videography. Furthermore, book Serendipity. They are, hands down, the best in the business. Happy Planning! -

Vanessa Sent on 01/06/2016There are no words to describe the feeling you get when Taryn sends you an email with the title “Your Wedding Film is FINISHED!” Serendipity was the best decision my husband and I made while planning our wedding. They are more than a group of fantastic videographers. They are story tellers with an eye for detail that is unmatched by any videographers around. After lots of reseach, we found that nobody compares to the quality that is Serendipity. Denis and I talked with Serendipity about shooting a love story and a video that introduced our bridal party. We shot the love story and we and every guest at our wedding loved it. It’s the perfect way to show your guests the story of your love and how you met. When I mentioned the “Bridal Party Introduction Video”, Taryn and Jeff were so helpful and SOOO open to my crazy ideas. That video turned out better than we could have ever imagined. As a bride, I worked very hard on all details of my wedding. I had a lot of DIY projects and spent a lot of money on the wedding. I am glad that serendipity was there to capture the details that as a bride I didn’t really get to enjoy that day. When you watch your wedding film, you’ll relive the magic, you’ll see the emotion on family members faces, and when you see your first kiss as husband and wife it brings back so much joy. It feels like watching a romantic movie produced by the best directors in Hollywood.
After our wedding, I basically begged Taryn to hire me as a coordinator. I wanted to join a team that makes such unique and beautiful films. I’ve experienced every side of Serendipity. I’ve been the bride, and I’ve been behind the scenes with the videographers. I’ve personally experienced how hard this team works on every wedding. If you choose Serendipity, I recommend the Love You The Most package. It includes an interractive menue that lets you pick and choose what part of your wedding you want to see. It’s worth EVERY, SINGLE PENNY! Serendipity is just the best! -

By far my husband and I said THE best wedding investment. If you think you don't need a video or it's too much money I will tell you it is the most worthwhile investment!!! When your caught up in the moment of the day you may not get a chance to see or hear it all. Having our wedding captured by Serendipity is like being at our wedding again but this time you get to see all the little things you missed or hear your soon to be husband talk about how excited he is. These memories are priceless. I will forever have the ability to hear what my husband said when he was getting ready, my dad walking me down the aisle, our individual interviews, our family interviews, the decor, our first dance, and all the emotions and fun of that day. Taryn and her group are so talented and their ability to shoot and edit your wedding is like no other. You will not only get a wedding video that is award worthy but the customer service they provide is like no other! Taryn will be the first to tell you that videography is the first thing most brides and grooms cut from their budget and the number one thing they regret not doing. We were so lucky to find Serendipity and even luckier that they were still available for our wedding. If you have the money, it’s so worth it! Taryn and her husband have amazing experience and professionalism. They are incredibly talented and it shows in the quality of their work. We loved having them be a part of our wedding day because of their positive energy and great personalities. Our movie trailer was absolutely beautiful – everyone we sent it to raved about how it was the best they had ever seen. And they got it to us so fast – we were still on our honeymoon. It was so fun to watch while we were still glowing from the wedding. Our actual video is perfect – it tells the story of our wedding, highlights the best parts of the speeches and vows, and all the crazy dancing at the end of the night. We could not possibly be happier with our experience with Serendipity and would highly recommend them to any bride and groom. -

We had a destination wedding in Scottsdale and did much of the planning online, through emails and over the phone. When visiting ceremony and reception venues throughout the Scottsdale/Phoenix area, Serendipity was repeatedly on their preferred vendors lists. I knew that each of these venues and event coordinators must be confident in the quality of the film produced as well as the professionalism of Serendipity. Our California-based photographer had even recommended them! When I checked out the Serendipity website, I instantly liked their vision and enjoyed their work provided on that site. I also greatly appreciated that visitors can access their blog to get a glimpse of their recent work, not just what they deem their best of the best.
Picking Serendipity was an easy choice! Deciding on the package was a bit more difficult for us as we weren’t sure what needed to be included and what we could do without due to budgeting. Taryn was more than willing to talk me through the decisions and I really appreciated any additional time she spent on our wedding. The Movie Trailer is amazing and I highly recommend including this option! It was perfect to share a few weeks following our actual wedding at our hometown reception. At roughly 3 minutes, I think they will be something that we share the most frequently. We just received our edited wedding film and it is equally amazing… both in content and quality. We look forward to getting our final hard copy soon. Again, I can’t stress how pleased we have been, from start to finish, with our experience with Serendipity!
