Had a great experience with Jay R and Selective Sound!

JR was amazing to work with from the begining to the end. Christian was also great at the wedding. They music they played was fantastic and they made sure the dance floor was packed from the very start to the very end. Our guests can't stop raving about them. The drapping, lighting and custom monogram was also perfect and exactly what we wanted. We can't wait to use them again.

JR is extremely professional and easy to work with! The company did the uplighting for our wedding and provided a projector and setup for a slideshow during the reception. The uplighting really made a difference in the ambiance of the room and I would highly recommend using it at your event! Everything turned out wonderfully.

We chose Selective Sound because we heard their quality at a friend's wedding. Once we booked we realized everyone from Selective Sound was fantastic to work with! Whenever I had a question, I emailed Jay R and his response time was amazing. He eased any worry that I may have had and gave me the answer I needed. Brian was our DJ and was willing to do anything necessary to make a bride happy - he brought his equipment outside for our outdoor rainy ceremony. We had our DJ and Video service done through Selective Sound and we couldn't have been happier in our choices!

Selective Sound was the best and you'd be crazy to go anywhere else! Rick was our DJ for the event and had people out on the dance floor the entire night- we are STILL getting compliments on how great he was. Jay R was great to work with as well and made sure my husband and I were always in the loop. Definitely worth every penny we spent on them!

Jay R was the best DJ! We received so many compliments about him and his professionalism, DJ voice, energy, and song selection. We trusted him so much that we left a lot of the song selection up to him. His goal was to make the wedding by having everyone dancing at all times. He was great and I would give him a 10 out of 10. I would recommend him to everyone as well as selective sound.

Let me just say...Phenomenal! Rick from Selective Sound did our wedding at the Landerhaven and was amazing. Do not look any further and let these guys do your wedding/event. We had people on the dance floor all night! He did such a great job our guests were chanting " one more song" at the end of the night. We did not want the night to end and we are thankful for Selective Sound. Trust me when I say, all the stress you get from planning a wedding, these guys will relieve the DJ stress. Absolutely outstanding!

Our experience with Selective Sound was great from the first meeting. They had the classy but modern vibe we were looking for. Many of the other companies we met with seemed to cater to older crowds or much younger, with one size fits all packages. SSE allowed us to tailor our event with them to meet our exact expectations. Our DJ was Rich Gassman and he did a fantastic job, backed up by years and years of experience. We had one of our guests comment on how impressed she was with our DJ b/c she could tell he was feeling out the crowd for what music they responded to best. Our guests were on the dance floor until the very end at midnight.

JR was wonderful to work with. We met with him a few times and got everything we wanted even at the last minute when we decided to add more lighting. Our reception room was absolutely beautiful when he was done and we had many great comments. Would definately recommend this company. People were dancing right till the very end.

In my opinion, you would be foolish to go anywhere else, but with Selective Sound. The moment my husband and I met JR, we were impressed by his overview and professionlism. we could tell right off the bat this was a very reputable place. The DJ is the most important vendor you will hire for your wedding, so we were not looking at price at all as a factor. However, Selective Sound was affordable. they will not be the cheapest, but believe me you want quality over price and the deliver that. I liked how JR took control and he was confident in his role and provided crucial details to help us make very important decisions. He always returned phone calls and offered honest advice any time we needed it. In addition, they have an up lighting division, making them a one stop shop. We purchased uplighting and a videoagrapher through them. Everything turned our perfect! music selection was great. they offered a variety which was perfect. He kept the crowd engaged at all times. JR is very talented. Selective Sound also were chosen to work at Rock your Prom for Chardon High School. that comes to show how reputable and credible they are. I would not recommend anywhere else, but here!

Jay R did a great job. He was very knowledgable and helpful when working to plan our ceremony and reception. He was very timely in his responses to any and all of my questions throughout the process.

I am the mother of the bride, and worked closely with Jay R planning the up-lighting and some of the decor for my daughter's wedding. He had many wonderful ideas, which worked out beautifully, and helped set the mood in the reception area.

Our DJ was John. He supplied the ceremony and cocktail hour music, as well as the reception music. He did a great job keeping everyone on the dance floor the entire evening.
