Wow, what can I even begin to say about Agung! Photography was one of the most important aspects about our wedding, and Agung did not disappoint. His work ethic and enthusiasm for what he does shows in every picture that he takes. First off, he spent over 5 hours with us during our engagement session in 3 different locations and kept us laughing the whole time! He came to our rehearsal so he could become familiar with our church venue and also did a tour of the meeting so that we could plan and discuss different aspects of the day. On our wedding day, he showed up earlier than scheduled and stayed with us the entire day! My large bridal party was so impressed that he memorized everyone's names. Not only does he offer competetive pricing and exceptional service, Agung was so accommodating in hearing all my concerns and ideas and made our day the best yet! Don't think twice about booking with Seize the Day!

Agung is amazing! Our wedding isn't until October, but we did our engagement shoot with him recently and were blown away. Not only is he extremely friendly and super easy to get along with, but he makes you feel like he really values you and what you want as a client. He included our dog in our engagement pictures, which was so important to us. I'm sure that isn't easy to do as a photographer, but he made it look easy and managed to catch so many beautiful moments! I was beyond impressed. The quality of his work is phenomenal, and his eye for creativity is a natural gift. He is super responsive, and just wonderful all around. I'm so excited to see what he can do at our wedding!

This review is long overdue in regards to our wedding photography as well as the engagement & save the date photography experiences we had with you! You have such an artistic eye, you worked hard & went above & beyond in everything that you did for us from day one of hiring you as our photographer. Your work is absolutely stunning & your personality just makes everyone so happy. Your laughing was contagious and put us & our wedding party at ease for posed photos. You & Jon make for a great team & we really appreciated that you all checked in with us throughout the day to make sure everything was flowing smoothly & that we were able to get breaks in between mingling & photo time. You even got our guests all hyped up and cheering during our cake cutting and champagne toast; making it all so over the top fun for everyone! -- That was just over the top amazing; thank you! You allowed us to choose a custom backdrop from JoAnne's and then went & purchased it for our photo booth and did a custom set-up to allow for an open booth style set-up; again, you went above & beyond; thank you! I have a relaxed personality but am a perfectionist so I asked a lot of you as far as the types of pictures we wanted & you just really worked your magic making it all happen! You thoughtfully & beautifully presented our wedding photos on disc to us in a special photo gift box format. You quickly worked us in to be able to take some Save the Date pics & spent a long day venturing to different sites & maintained high energy taking our engagement photos. Agung did not just seize the day, but MADE the day. He had the best jokes and happy go lucky attitude that kept us all smiling and laughing throughout the entire day.
He made sure we covered everything on schedule and arranged us well. He helped to alleviate the stress of the wedding simply by being his joyful self. He also took gorgeous shots and made everybody feel more confident and comfortable around the camera.
I cannot thank him enough for doing such a wonderful job and leading us through the day in a way that was not pushy, awkward, and aloof like some other photographers. I really felt like he was a part of the celebration.
He did his homework and really got to know everybody in the party. Extra points for learning the language!
For some context, it was my sister's garden wedding and he even handled getting the whole wedding party to travel a significant distance while racing against sunset well.

Choosing Seize The Day Photography was the best decision we made for our wedding! Of course Agung's pictures are incredible and second to none, but what really sets him apart from other wedding photographers I have worked with are his ability to connect with the bride and groom and their family and friends and his incredible attention to detail. From instantly making us feel at ease while we took our engagement photos to ensuring our exit from the reception was perfect, Agung made sure every aspect of our wedding was exactly how we imagined, if not better! Agung worked with us throughout the wedding planning process to ensure he was aware of all of the special details that were important to us, knew everyone in the wedding party, and knew about any family dynamics that could be important on the big day. By the time our wedding day rolled around, Agung felt like family! In fact, while we were getting ready, our make up artist asked if he was a close family friend! Because Agung took the time to understand exactly which pictures we wanted, who we wanted in them, and even where we wanted them taken, he was able to work with the people at the church and reception venue and advocate for us to ensure we got every picture we wanted.
Lots of our friends and family members told us how incredible he was during and after the wedding. He had an amazing way of making everyone feel comfortable, whether we were taking fun pictures of the wedding party in the garden or family pictures in the church. And when we got the pictures, we were even happier than we had been the day of the wedding--something we didn't think was possible! We were shocked and incredibly delighted that we had pictures of everyone at the wedding. From grandparents to college friends, he got pictures of everyone that was important to us! After the wedding, my sister said she would have to chose her wedding date based on Agung's availability because she couldn't imagine using another photographer!

Agung Fauzi from Seize the day Photography is not only an amazing artist but an incredible human being. My now-husband and I felt so comfortable working with him from the very first conversation that we had together. Agung was extremely responsive, answering our emails/phone calls in a timely manner. He was also very thorough with his questions regarding the type of pictures we wanted. We had a very small and intimate wedding (14 of us total), and he knew the names of all of our guests, including their nicknames, which made them feel comfortable and at ease. He was also full of life as he captured our family pictures, making everyone laugh and creating a very light and joyful environment.

He truly captured our event and atmosphere faithfully. We couldn't be happier our photos, which we will cherish for years to come. Thank you Agung!

Of all the wedding vendors we worked with, Seize the Day was heads and shoulders above the rest. Agung's talent and creativity made for exceptional pictures. We had tons of more traditional family pictures (that my mom happy) and plenty of individualized, more modern pictures that we love. We had a Skype call with Agung before the wedding to go all details about timing and the kinds of things we wanted done. It was very helpful and the day of went 100% smoothly. The day of the wedding was hectic and we had hair, makeup, floral vendors all over the place. Agung was the one that vendor that did not feel like a stranger in the way, but he was certainly there because he captured amazing pictures of us and our families getting ready. So many things in the wedding industry feel like you're being taken advantage of and Seize the Day was the one exception to that. We cannot recommend him enough!

My wife and I hired Agung and Seize the Day Photography to shoot both our wedding and our engagement photos. Throughout the entire process Agung was more than accommodating in arranging times to meet, and was always happy to take our calls and answer any of our questions.

When we received our engagement photos we were absolutely blown away, and couldn't imagine them coming out any better.

When it came to our wedding, Agung met up with us a few days before hand and we walked the venue and all of the adjacent areas. This allowed us to plan where we would be taking photos and again they came out perfect.

Throughout the entire day Agung and his team maintained a low profile and were able to get absolutely amazing candid shots of the entire event. He's also the most energetic and organized photographer I've ever met and ran all of the family/wedding party photos like a pro. The day was a whirlwind, but all of the photos he took gave us the ability to relive the entire event.

I highly recommend that you hire Agung, and I know for a fact you won't regret it.

After having our engagement photo session with Agung he made us feel so much more comfortable having our photographs taken. We received the photos very quickly and loved them! They were so vibrant and colorful and he found just the right spots to get great shots. He did a great job capturing the details and getting the formal shots on our wedding day as well. We invited guests to join us for couple/group photos while the staff rearranged the ceremony seating for cocktail hour and he did an excellent job taking the photos and moving through quickly so we could get back for cocktail hour. We received many compliments about him from our guests and my sister has already booked him for her newlywed photos. He is also very friendly and cheerful; a pleasure to work with.

Agung is a very professional, creative, energetic photographer. His work is absolutely stunning!

He is so excited and enthusiastic about photography and ensuring that everyone has a great time! He even added an additional creative touch on my ideas. His turn-around time for the photos is incredibly FAST, too! We took our engagement session and within a few days he had the pictures ready. Our wedding pictures were organized and delivered in less than two weeks! He clearly loves what he does, and it shows!

Agung went above and beyond to make everyone at the wedding smile and laugh for the pictures and capture our special day like no one else could have. Numerous times our parents, family, and friends came up to us saying what a smart choice we made in having Agung take our wedding photos. During our reception, he surprised us by printing pictures that he had taken that night and put them in cards so we could distribute them to our family the same day!

I honestly cannot think of anything negative to say about Agung. Photography was one of my top priorities for our wedding, and Agung definitely went the extra mile to make it perfect. I highly recommend Seize the Day Photography!

Seize the day photography was the best part of my wedding. Agung is absolutely amazing, he is personable, fun, and has such a great eye for the perfect shot. I cannot express how happy we ate too know him and to have had him as a part of our big day. If you are considering hiring someone else, DON'T! Trust me, you will love his energy, and our photo album is so much better than we could have ever expected. All of our guests were gushing over our "best photographer they had every seen". Now it's time to plan another event so we can hire him again :)

Agung of Seize the Day Photography is our favorite wedding service provider. He took our engagement photos at the Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna, and our wedding photos at 2941 Restaurant. Agung is very friendly and brought great positive energy to all of our photo sessions. Before we signed the contract, he met us in person to discuss our exceptions and recommended the photo package that best suits us. At our engagement photo session, we had a lot of fun during the photo shoot, and we felt that Agung learned our "good angles" through the process. On our wedding day, Agung and his assistant showed up at the hotel (where the bride and bridesmaids were getting ready) before I (the bride) showed up! Before the ceremony, we discovered that my now husband's tux was missing a button, so Agung took one button from a groomsman's tux and sewed it on the groom's tux. He took beautiful photos for us and delivered the photos to us in about a week. We can't enough good things about Seize the Day Photography. We highly recommend him to all of you looking for a great photographer.

Agung Fauzi from Seize the Day Photography was the single greatest vendor at our wedding last October. Not only did he capture the best moments from our day, but he consistently went above and beyond by bringing so much positive energy and so many big smiles throughout all of our guests with his great personality. Amazingly, Agung also repeatedly made sure that we - the bride and groom - were as comfortable as possible; on multiple occasions ranging from a stain on the wedding dress to a broken bustle on the dress train, Agung was there to remove the stain or come up with his own knot to keep the dress together. All in all, our day simply would not have been the same without him, and we'll have our great wedding photos forever to remember it!

I can't say enough great things about Agung and Seize the Day! We met with 5 or 6 different photographers and looked at way more websites. When we met Agung and he showed us his work and wedding albums, we were hooked. There was just something about his style that we connected with. He did our engagement photos and our wedding and we had so much fun with him! He was very responsive to all of our e-mails, and was very flexible with where we wanted our engagement photos taken. We were also going to have some photos outside before our wedding but the weather forecast was 100% rain, so when I asked for some suggested alternatives he took it upon himself to find some covered outdoor locations around the area instead of just staying in the hotel where our ceremony and reception were. When we got our engagement photos and wedding photos back (very quickly!) we were stunned at the quality. They were all absolutely gorgeous, better than we ever imagined. After sending the link to my family members there was nothing but positive feedback. A couple even said they were the best photos they'd ever seen. I know anyone who chooses Agung is putting their most important life moments in the best hands. If you want to have fun, laugh, and smile so much your cheeks hurt the next day (true story with our engagement photos) then Agung is the one!

We hired Agung to shoot our engagement session last September and fell in love with his work! We then hired him to photograph our traditional Lao ceremony shortly after and our Catholic ceremony this past November. His warmth, charisma and ability to capture the most beautiful images AND make me and my husband look like pros in front of the camera is priceless. He is not only an awesome photographer but a genuinely good person. Everyone that has seen our pictures raves about how wonderful the pictures are and not to mention the quick turn around time. You look at these reviews on weddingwire and see all 5 stars, you wonder, is this true? Is this guy THAT good? All I can say is definitely yes. My sister in law is the aunt to the beautiful bride in his display and she told me that this photographer just moved to Arlington from Texas. My husband and I looked at the website and thought she may be confused because the website had Arlington, TX, not VA where I'm located. Luckily enough, he moved from TX to VA. We met with him at a starbucks and just had so much fun talking to him. He is very warm and friendly and laughs A LOT. We met with some other photographers who did great work but lacked that whole relating to a person well. Agung was the epitome of what I wanted in a photographer all rolled into one. He was funny with a kind heart and a fierce eye for photography.

Agung will also work with you. He's flexible but fair and reasonable in his price. He's right around the average price for a photographer in the DC area. I give him a 5 for value of cost because his turnaround time is incredible. We got married on 5/13 and I received my proofs and slideshow on 5/18 while I was STILL on my honeymoon. I came home to our CDs of photos, talk about amazing! He gave us amazing photos and was always reachable and quick to turn around. If you are going to spend an average amount of $ on photography in DC, you want to feel good about dropping that amount of money on a quick turnaround and great photos. Agung delivered.

We met with him about 2 weeks before our wedding to give him paperwork of who everyone was in the wedding and wouldn't you know, he knew EVERYONE's name. Everyone. Talk about being a true professional. He may not be part of a large group of photographers, like some other big and well-known names in DC, but he is a shining star and growing so book him now!

There is just so much about Agung that I could say, but I feel like I resemble the sentiments of most brides who use him. He is truly that great and I give him a resounding MUST HIRE.

Agung is AMAZING...he was my favorite vendor from my wedding! I contacted him very close to my wedding date and he was so helpful right from the start. He took the time to get to know my fiance and I and made sure he knew who our important guests were, as well as what pictures were important to us. He always responded to any of my questions very quickly. On the wedding day, he showed up with a great, energetic attitude and put everyone at ease. We had a wedding full of camera shy people (me and my groom included) but he easily got us to forget about the camera and just have fun. He was very creative with the shots and took so many amazing pictures! He was fully prepared to help with anything: he pulled weather radar up on his phone to show me that the rain would pass in time for my ceremony so I didn't have to move it inside, he showed us how to cut our cake when we weren't sure, and he even had bobbypins when my hair started to fall out of place! To top it all off, we received the CDs with our pictures yesterday, not even 3 weeks from our wedding. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Agung was an unbelievable asset on our wedding day - and every day that he and I spoke before then! First and foremost, he has such a wonderful and lively spirit that meeting with him for the first time was like catching up with an old friend. His energy and passion for photography was boundless and being around him lifted our own spirits! He was such a priceless find and I cannot imagine the wedding without him. His work is amazing! Photography was my number one priority for our wedding and I spent about 5 months researching photographers. I'm so happy that I didn't settle before finding Agung. We did our engagement session with him. He sent us a slide show that brought tears to many of our friends' and families' eyes when they saw them. He visited our ceremony venue prior to the wedding and he attended our rehearsal to see how it would be set up. On the wedding day he was with us for over 10 hrs and he delivered our cd's with all of our pictures in less than 2 wks. This is really above and beyond what you'll get from anyone else. The pictures are amazing and we have so many wall worthy pics that we're having a hard time picking out the ones that we're going to frame. We can't wait to see our album! Everyone that's seen our pictures can't believe how beautiful they are. I would recommend Agung hands down to any bride and groom. In fact, I hope that he does other events besides weddings bc my husband and I would like to hire him again in the future for other special events. If you hire Agung you're in good hands.

Agung was so awesome. I can't say enough good things. It was so fun to take our pictures with him, and they turned out beautifully! They are so unique and he did a great job of capturing us as a couple. The wedding album we received with our package is like nothing I've ever seen before, it's truly a work of art and definitely not a traditional wedding album. Pictures were one of the most important thing to me at our wedding and I was willing to spend whatever I had to for heat pictures. The great thing was, Agung was very affordable and I gt picture that I'll have forever.

I used Seize the Day Photography in 2008 for our wedding. We couldn't have asked for anything better! The pictures were outstanding and I really don't think you'll get a better deal! We got bridal session, engagement session and wedding pictures for a very fair price in a great package. I would use him for all of the other important events in my life!

Agung, the owner and mastermind behind Seize the Day Photography is priceless. Agung is not only an amazing artist, he is also a wonderful person. Agung did all of the photography--start to finish--for my wedding, my sister's wedding and my cousin's wedding. He has done nothing but exceed ALL expectations. For my wedding, we flew Agung to Nebraska. Unfamiliar with the area, he still found the greatest spots to shoot photos. Through the process, Agung became a very beloved and dear friend to our family. I can not say enough about his strong abilities and his God-given talent. Agung truly captures the special moments. Sieze the day photography (Agung Fauzi) is absolutely amazing. I can confidently say that having them take our wedding pictures was one of the biggest highlights of the day! Our guests were even wondering who these awesome photographers were! Agung is very personal, and makes everyone he works with feel comfortable. He took the time to ask what everyone (immediate family, bridal party) prefers to be called, so he'd know for when he came. He takes the time to get to know the bride and groom, too. Wouldn't have gone with anybody else. My 4 friends and I ALL used Agung and now feel as though we have gained a good friend. His pictures are breath-taking and that doesn't even do justice(there really isn't even a word to describe them). He spends countless hours preparing, traveling, and working with you and others. He will even have all the names of your wedding party/family memorized by the wedding day! I would have paid triple what he charges because I am so confident that anybody would be happy with him. If it says anything (which I think it says A LOT), we planned our wedding date around his availability. He was my top priority. Now, we just need to have babies so he can do a family shoot! :)

Agung is by far the best of the best. My husband and I got married almost 3 years ago, and we still talk about how Agung was by far the best choice we made as far as "vendors" for our wedding. Not only is he unbelievably talented, it is so obvious that he truly loves what he does. It does not simply feel like you're working with someone who is just "doing their job," but his passion is evident as he makes you feel like the most important person in the world!

He and his team worked to make every single detail come together seamlessly, and they went above and beyond their duties. He is so sweet and funny, and he really tries to get to know your personalities to make the pictures about YOU and YOUR style--not his!

We had hired a photographer for my daughter's wedding and put a $1200.00 deposit down, then I saw Agung's website and and knew immediately I wanted him to do the wedding. I fired the first one and lost the $1200.00, it was the best decision I have ever made. He did a awesome job, and I am not one to cry, but after I saw the slide show it brought me to tears!!!!! Agung is amazing. He's one of the nicest and most talented guys you'll ever meet. Sieze the Day did our engagements and my wife's bridal and we couldn't have asked for a better experience and outcome. He flew down to where we live and spent the day with us and completely worked with our schedule. His ideas were great and he would just see things and think of new stuff to do. We were literally driving on the highway heading downtown when he said "Wait, take the next exit, I saw something." So we weave around the downtown streets and find what he saw, and they turned out awesome. And this is what he did all day. And we also had some ideas of our own that he was glad to shoot...and made them even better of course. He gave us the album he made for us and I had never seen another wedding album like it before. We had several people tell us that is was the nicest wedding album they had ever seen. Very creative, talented, fun, and just a really cool guy to hang out with. But most importantly...his pictures are ridiculous good.

Agung and his wife Sarah are some of the most amazing people my husband and I have ever met! They are so professional but also so personal at the same time. Agung has photographed my bridals, our engagements, our wedding, my maternity photos, and some family photos of us with our baby girl. I have yet to find any photographer that can live up to Agung's greatness and creativity. The cost is very good for what you get, but it wouldn't matter how much it cost, the talent that he has for capturing your true self is priceless. He is passionate about really showcasing your emotions and happiness and it really shows in his work. The photographs and the customer service that Agung provides are absolutely priceless!
