Eric is Simply the Best DJ

We cannot recommend Eric highly enough! From the very beginning, he made the planning process incredibly easy and stress-free. He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and helped create a seamless experience from start to finish.

On our wedding day, the reception was an absolute blast thanks to the incredible music he played. One of the most special touches was that he edited the audio from a video so that we could have it played during our cake cutting, making the moment even more sentimental and memorable.

His service went above and beyond the wedding day itself. By the very next day, he had already posted photos from our celebration, and within just a few days, we received a beautifully put-together video and article that allowed us to relive all of our favorite moments.

If you're looking for a talented, professional DJ who will make your reception fun, memorable, and completely stress-free, we highly recommend him. Best DJ Ever!!

Eric was THE BEST! We could not have asked for a better DJ to help us on our wedding day. We needed DJ services for our reception, and he did not disappoint. Everything was set up and going when we arrived back to the hotel from our ceremony and it was a completely painless process. We met with Eric ahead of time and filled out his awesome software for song choices which made the day that much enjoyable. The dancefloor was packed all night and I think that just shows how awesome of a DJ he was! Plus, all of the extra personal touches that Eric throws in free of charge cannot be forgotten and might have become some of our favorite memories from the day. Whatever we asked about, Eric delievered and we can never thank him enough for that!!!

Hiring DJ Eric was the best decision we made for our wedding! From the moment we met him, his energy and passion were infectious. He took the time to truly understand us, our vision and guided us through the entire process with expert advice and genuine excitement. We used DJ Eric for both our ceremony & reception.

Eric's attention to detail was incredible. He helped us refine our music choices, seamlessly coordinated with other vendors to keep our timeline on track, and even captured amazing photos from his perspective that we'll cherish forever! We were blown away by his professionalism, responsiveness (he delivered the photos less than 12 hours after the wedding!), and his ability to read the crowd.

Book him— you won’t regret it— I promise!

Eric was absolutely wonderful and really made our day so special. Not only did we love his online tool for pre picking songs, we also loved that at different parts of the night he would check in on us and make sure we were having the best time. He also went above and beyond by getting additional pics for us and when we woke up the day after the wedding, he had already sent us his blog post for our wedding, our playlist, and pics!

Neither my husband nor I are big music people so heading into the wedding, this wasn’t a vendor we were particular about. We had no idea just how impactful Eric would be on the day and post wedding, he is something we tell everyone really went above and beyond to make our special day perfect.

Top notch service at every step of the way!

Eric is bar none the best DJ we've ever encountered. He's so friendly and easy to work with at every step along the way. He was the DJ at our friends wedding and when it came time for our wedding we knew who we were going to pick. It's not even just the DJ stuff (which of course he's great) but it's all the small stuff he does that really sets him in his own class. From capturing candid photos all night, creating a blog about our wedding, sending us our playlist, helping organize our timeline, and so much more. Hire eric!

WE LOVED ERIC!!! From the time we met him on zoom we absolutely loved the energy he brought! Our DJ was so important to us because we wanted our wedding to be FUN and we wanted a DJ that understood our mission! He was such an easy vendor because after we chose him, we didn't have to have a ton of meetings until closer to the date! We gave him some ideas of songs we liked for each part of the night, and he completely understood our vibe! Also- if youre getting married in a large venue like we did (we got married at the Pennsylvanian) hire him. The Pennsylvanian is so large and has issues with sound due to the walls, but Eric had all this certain equipment just for our venue! The sounds was amazing and didnt echo at all! Also- we asked him to play some Persian music and he did and it was so fun! After the event he sent us a hand written thank you and a thumb drive and even emailed us. He is such a kind soul and I couldn't recommend him enough! Also- he has a blog on his website of every wedding he does with the list of songs he played and some photos that are actually really good! So much more than a dj

Hiring Eric to DJ for our wedding was not only the greatest decision my wife and I made for our wedding but one of the greatest decisions we have ever made in our lives! From the initial meeting over Zoom, we knew that we needed Eric in our wedding. In the stress of planning our wedding, Eric provided support and guidance to make our wedding planning and wedding day run smoothly. If you make the wise decision to hire Eric, you are not only getting an incredible DJ but you are also getting a constant source of wedding advice!

Eric’s sense of humor and infectious personality brightened our wedding day. He did an amazing job of providing amazing music during our ceremony and cocktail hour. Eric kept everything running smoothly and efficiently. During the reception, Eric made sure that the dance floor was always popping and he did a fantastic job of determining what songs were a hit with our crowd and which songs could quickly be skipped.

Honestly, if I could give anyone planning a wedding right now a piece of advice it would be to hire Schiemer Entertainment! Seriously, every wedding needs an Eric!

Best dj ever!

Eric is AMAZING – Where do we even start with how amazing he is?! From the moment we first met Eric, we knew he had to be a part of our day. His energy and positivity are unmatched and he truly cares that his couples have an amazing reception. Throughout the planning process, Eric was extremely responsive, provided his honest opinion when asked and just made us so excited leading up to the wedding with his enthusiasm, even if we were going through hard pandemic times. He was more than happy to have multiple planning meetings with us leading up to the wedding day and really listened to what was important to us. His awesome online planning tool also made it extremely easy for us to create the timeline, decide on special dances, etc. Eric even mixed us a custom wedding song which was so special and one of our favorite parts of the day!
On the day of the wedding, he was timely, energetic, and so ready to have a great time! He was also reassuring and a positive voice in times of chaos right before our ceremony when it wasn’t set up properly by the venue. He truly went above and beyond and we can’t thank him enough! Our bridal party had a last-minute change to our entrances, and he quickly pivoted and accommodated, and was so happy to do so! The entire reception ran smoothly because of Eric. He was phenomenal and our dance floor was full the entire night. We had several people ask for his contact info and we have family members that have already booked him for their weddings!
One of the best things Eric does is he takes his own pictures throughout the reception, some of which are my favorite from the night! He creates a list of all of the songs played, a photo slideshow and sends all of the photos to you afterwards. It was such a great surprise to relive the night the day after through his photos!
This review doesn’t even do justice to just how amazingly wonderful Eric is. He truly goes above and beyond, cares so much and is just an amazing person all around. Booking Eric was the best decision we made and I can’t imagine our wedding without him!

I highly recommend Eric to any and every bride and groom. To be blunt, I was nervous to book a DJ, because I know a great DJ can really make your wedding exceptional. I genuinely feel I made the best decision by booking Eric! He was kind, professional, thorough, and supportive throughout the planning process. He was able to help with details and overall flow of the evening. His experience really shined through during our preparatory conversations. His website and song lists were extremely helpful in choosing all of the important songs; it made the process fun instead of just a chore. My wife and I spoke with a number of DJs while planning our wedding reception and as soon as we ended our call with Eric we knew the search was over. Eric Schiemer is a true professional who brings with him a lot of great experience, insight, and suggestions but also is completely happy to accommodate any requests/desires you may have! He was on top of every detail while planning the reception, has a great personality for interacting with guests, and coordinated very well with our other vendors to make everything run smoothly. Brought house down

I’ve literally never left a review for anything in my life (vendor, bar, restaurant, Amazon product). This needs to be my first. Eric brought the house down at our wedding. The journey was nearly as fun as the actual wedding. I’m serious. I do honestly feel bad for our videographer and photogrsiver because the DJ just went above and beyond and proceeded to take THE BEST PHOTOS AND VIDEOS ON PLANET EARTH.

Amazing, Eric is the Best!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Eric. He was amazing to work with, always quick to respond and always willing to help in any way possible. He was perfect for our day and kept the dance floor full the entire night. We even had a power outage for over an hour (no fault to Eric, it was a venue issue) and Eric was only down for about 5 mins (it was so quick I didn't even know), and the party just kept on rolling. He provided us with amazing pictures and a video to remember our perfect day. He did everything like we discussed and was perfect! He is truly the best. Cannot recommend highly enough!

The Ultimate DJ

Eric is THE BEST! He was the DJ at my daughter’s wedding and was mine as well when I got married in August. He’s so much more than a DJ, he’s like family. Wedding DJ

Eric was the dj at our 8/21/21 wedding. Everything was perfect on our day. Above and Beyond!

Eric DJed my sister's wedding and was so beyond fabulous that he was the first vendor we had to lock down the day after we got engaged - and, undoubtedly, he did not disappoint! Not only does he bring the party and such a positive, calming presence, but he goes above and beyond what is typically expected of a wedding DJ. From the very start, his process was nothing short of seamless - his website is user-friendly and it allows you to provide ceremony/reception details and "must play"/"maybe play"/"do not play" songs at your leisure. Eric set up a touchbase prior to the big day where we talked through specifics and then he sent through his own detailed timeline later that evening. We also had some surprises for my mom sprinkled in, and he made sure to keep those off of any timelines or emails that included her -- he was on it, and she was so surprised during the wedding! He arrived early to set up/test out some day-of lighting options we discussed and facilitate all the necessary ceremony audio connections with other vendors (videographer, venue coordinators, etc.). He kept my husband and I in the know throughout the reception and didn't move on to the next activity without making sure we were ready - something crucial when you're in the blur and excitement of a 200+ person reception! When the open dance floor started, I don't think anyone was at his/her seat for the rest of the night - it was so much fun! Eric kept the party going and incorporated fun uplighting sequences sophistically all night! At the end of the night, he packed up and stuck around to tell us how much fun he had - that wasn't the end of his services though. The next day, he shared a blog post he made about our day, an entire album of photos he captured throughout the dance floor party, and a teaser video of those photos to our first dance song. Above and beyond! But that's not all.. we went on a two-week honeymoon to the Maldives and when we returned to our non-PA residence, there was a personalized card from Eric with a flash drive of all of the photos he captured waiting for us. I can't recommend him enough - we tell everyone that the first thing to do after getting engaged is to reach out to Eric. He's the best around!

Everything we wanted in a DJ

Eric was amazing to work with! We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. He was everything we wanted our DJ to be. We created our own playlists, but Eric ordered the songs perfectly. He was the best combination of bringing energy to the dance floor and not being too involved. His flow of the reception was great and we loved how he took the lead but asked for our input and let us know when we were transitioning into the next thing. To top it all off, he made us an awesome slideshow from the pictures he took, which was so great to see the next day. Overall, 10/10 recommend!

Amazing!

Eric was truly the most incredible DJ we could have ever asked for on our wedding day. There was a never a day he wasn’t available to help or if we needed to pick his brain for some playlist ideas, he was always just a quick phone call, email, or meeting away! His upbeat and optimistic personality made wedding planning and playlist picking fun — even during a pandemic, haha! Leading up to our big day he made sure to thoroughly run through our event and the details with us and our wedding planner to make sure everything was just how we wanted and envisioned it to be. Throughout our wedding day he checked in with both of us to make sure things were going well, we were having fun, and additionally asked if there was anything he could do for us. There was not a moment the dance floor wasn’t packed! I cannot tell you enough how many compliments we received from our wedding guests and also other vendors on how much everyone enjoyed him and his services! Needless to say Eric was extremely pleasant and fun to work with from start to finish. To top it all off, we were head over heels with happiness when he emailed us photos and a slideshow/video he put together of moments he had captured throughout the wedding day. It was so fun to see those moments the next day! We simply cannot thank Eric enough for making all of our wedding dreams come true! He was such pleasure to work with!

Amazing DJ

Eric was an outstanding DJ. I got married in June during COVID. Eric is/was extremely flexible and willing to help in any way he could especially as we considered date changes. He also really helped us plan out our reception and provided helpful guidance and suggestions. His website was great because we could rate different genres of music and put in the songs we wanted. It made it easy to give our input and reassured us that we would enjoy the music at the reception. I was concerned that the monogram light, which he provided for free with our lighting package, would look weird on the dance floor based on our venue set up. Eric assured me that he would only use it if he could find a good spot for it. He put it on the wall over the door to the cocktail hour room and it looked perfect. Throughout the night, he kept our wedding on track while also asking us if we were ready for each thing (speeches, father-daughter dance, etc.). This allowed us not to be rushed but also ensured we wouldn’t miss anything. Two days after the wedding, Eric sent us his blog post and Facebook link which he’d written about our wedding. It was very touching. He also sent us the full playlist from our wedding as well as a video he created by putting pictures he had taken to our first dance song. It was an amazing memento that we did not expect! He also mailed us a flash drive with everything on it. Overall, Eric was amazing and gave us way more than we expected. We highly recommend Eric to any couple!

Outstanding DJ

Eric was an exceptional DJ, personable, very helpful and extremely easy to work with. He provided everything that was asked and more, kept the guests very engaged with his selections, and went well beyond what we had expected. As the mother of the bride, I knew which vendors had been chosen but did not have much input into the selection. I was so surprised by all the little extras he provided, including a montage of pictures he had taken set to their first dance music. It was so unexpected, incredibly well done and will remain a treasured keepsake for all of us. We were thrilled with our entire experience, from initial contact to several days after when we received links to his pictures and blog posts. Having a wedding is stressful, trying to have a wedding during a pandemic with constant updates and changes was even more stressful. Eric’s flexibility during all of this, really showed us what type of a person, not just a businessman he is. We are so thankful that we were lucky enough to find him and can’t imagine how anyone else could have done the job to his level of expertise.

If you are looking for an awesome DJ who will keep the party going all night, Eric Schiemer is your guy!! Eric was the DJ at my sister's wedding in May of 2018. Two weeks after her wedding we called Eric and booked him for our wedding a year and a half later. It was the easiest wedding decision to make! From the very beginning Eric was extremely easy to work with. He quickly responded to emails/calls and his planning guide online made the process seamless and stress-free! Eric allowed us to pick out specific music that we did/did not want played but reassured us that we did not need to pick enough music for the whole day. His experience allows him to take your requests and create a playlist for the vibe you are going for. He is up to date on all of popular current songs and knows exactly what to play when. Fun, Professional - amazing wedding DJ!

We had so much fun at our wedding with Eric as our DJ! He was a pleasure to work with during the entire planning process. He was professional, organized, and truly listened to our ideas and vision for our wedding reception. From our initial phone meeting, I felt confident that Eric would expertly take care of all of our music, audio and emcee needs. The online planner tool that Eric uses was very helpful for us to request a few songs we definitely wanted to hear (and a couple we did not). It was also great for us to organize our timeline and give Eric more details about our reception. We requested a few songs we liked, and let Eric handle the rest of the music. He also beautifully handled all of the audio and music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. When it came time for our reception, we wanted an elegant but also fun and upbeat atmosphere for all of our guests. Eric took the song requests that we had (some of which we thought were a little random!), and created a perfect wedding playlist that we and all of our guests LOVED. Eric helped keep our guests on the dance floor all night! Thank you Eric for helping to make our wedding day amazing!

Couldn't have imagined a better DJ

From our first meeting, Eric was a paragon of enthusiasm, professionalism, and class. He has a clear mastery of his craft, yet maintains true interest and connection with his clients and their choice of music.

His selection of audio equipment was superb - matching the acoustic needs of our reception perfectly. He was also extremely flexible in working with other vendors and the needs of my wife and I. On top of that, he takes beautiful photos of the reception for free.

Amazing! We absolutely loved working with Eric for our wedding day. My sister used Eric a few years ago and I knew immediately that I would want to use him for our big day. The most amazing dj!!!

We booked Eric for our october 2018 wedding, and we cannot say enough good things about him! He fit so well with our personalities, and organized our entire reception perfectly. He even went along with our crazy bridal party intro idea and handled it like the master that he is! We wanted to do "wrestling entrances" and he just asked for all the songs a few days in advance and cut them perfectly for each member of our wedding party. Incredible Experience with Schiemer Entertainment

My husband and I knew we wanted the best DJ for our epic wedding. Having a fantastic DJ makes the reception. We knew from the very first meeting with Eric that he was the ONE!!! Eric was super friendly, energetic, and passionate about making the perfect wedding day for every couple he works with. I had many questions and asked for advice frequently throughout our wedding. Eric would respond quickly and assisted in easing my worries about making the perfect reception!! The sound music data base was an absolute blast to work with and had a HUGGEE song selection. Our wedding day was truly incredible and the best day of our lives. The reception was unforgettable and played out perfectly with Eric as our MC! From cocktail hour to dinner music to special dances to keeping the party going!! It was apparant Eric's professionalism as well as fun loving personality keeping people dancing all night!! Eric also had a special touch of taking beautiful photos and giving us a video with our wedding song playing in the background. Would highly recommend!!

Hiring Eric as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Eric is extremely organized and professional and went above and beyond to make our wedding so perfect! His website makes it so easy to plan the schedule of events and pick out all the music. The music was very important to us as we love to be on the dance floor and we had no doubt Eric would do a great job. On the day of the wedding Eric was at the venue hours before the ceremony to set up and make sure everything was good to go. During the wedding he made sure that everything ran smoothly, making sure we were on schedule. When it came time for dancing, the dance floor was always full and we had such a blast dancing with our guests. We got so many compliments on the music and how much fun our guests had. The next day Eric had sent us a slideshow of some of the photos he took (which we watched several times that day) and we got to see everyone enjoying themselves. We would highly recommend Eric to anyone!!

Best. Dj. Ever.

Eric is the only choice if you want to work with the best DJ ever for your wedding day! Not only is he the kindest, most talented wedding DJ that you could dream of, but he also has an energy that truly brought a light to our reception. His song choice was flawless (aided by his easy-to-use website that allows you to help customize his selection) and our dance floor was packed all night long. Not only is he the most fun to be around but he is also super professional in that his equipment is all top of the line, his set up is sleek and blends in easily to any décor, he always responded quickly to any questions (sometimes even emailing this night shift nurse back at 1am), and he even provided our gorgeous uplighting and dance floor monogram. Eric kept the pace of the reception perfectly and checked in with me multiple times throughout the night. As if being a wildly amazing DJ wasn’t enough, the day after our wedding, Eric posted a blog post to his website that included stunning candid photos from our reception, a complete playlist (so I can relive the best party ever over and over again), and even a slideshow set to music that made me cry. Only a few days later, we received a flash drive with all of this extra content in the mail so that we can keep it forever. I cannot possibly say enough wonderful things about DJ Eric and Schiemer Entertainment. He was the absolute best to work with and is responsible for my husband and I and all of guests having the time of our lives at our wedding reception!

#1 Wedding DJ!

We were lucky enough to work with the best vendors for our wedding and Eric was no exception! I was planning our wedding from out of town so I was never able to meet Eric until the day of the wedding, but from our first phone call I could tell he was super organized and very attentive to detail which I really appreciated. His online portal was fabulous and gave us the chance to pick our favorite songs and give him an idea of how we wanted the reception timeline to work. We could have as much input as we wanted which I loved. During our final phone call before the wedding, he addressed all of our questions/concerns and we went over everything in detail. On the day of the wedding, he was on top of everything and kept us on schedule. He got everyone on the dance floor and did the perfect amount of emceeing. He knows just when to switch up the music to keep the crowd dancing and it is so clear that he truly loves what he does! He also did our monogram spotlight on the dance floor and he took several photos and videos throughout the night which he sent us the next day. I would highly recommend Eric!

Eric is awesome!

Eric is AWESOME!!! He was so great to work with and helped to make our reception more fun than we even imagined. Eric goes out of his way to make sure that your day is everything you want it to be. He makes the music selection process easy and fun with an online tool and he is willing to play anything that you want! My husband and I told Eric that we really wanted to be able to enjoy the reception. Eric made sure to keep everything (cake cutting, dances, etc.) on schedule so that we had plenty of time to dance with our friends and family. My dad and I decided that we wanted to do a fun, choreographed father-daughter dance. I let Eric know about our plans and he was so excited to help us create a great mix of songs for us to use. Our wedding guests were on the dance floor the entire night and that is exactly what my husband and I told Eric we wanted. I had multiple people tell me that they had never danced so much at a wedding! We had the best night and cannot thank Eric enough for helping to make it so much fun! Eric was amazing to work with!

My now-husband and I loved working with Eric for our wedding day! Although we were not able to meet in person beforehand, we bonded over FaceTime and on the day of, it was like we had already known each other for a while. Eric makes the entire process of choosing music seamless - he gives you a private account on his online portal which allows you to pick every song you want to be played. We were very impressed with the professional look of his website as well as the attention to detail. We opted to have him play as many songs on our list as possible, but gave him freedom to play whatever he thought was appropriate at the time. He also allows you to list songs you absolutely do NOT want to be played, which is amazing! If there is a song that you want to be played that is not in his library, Eric is willing to purchase it for you! On the day of, Eric provided the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, as well as the uplighting and monogram. He was also our go-to for the timeline as well and would come up to us to let us know what was next, which we both appreciated very much. On your wedding day, things can get so hectic that you lose track of time, and Eric was always there to make sure we were on track. He also takes pictures, which he will post on his website (with your permission) and send on a flash drive in the mail. We have loved seeing his pictures of our wedding day as we wait for our professional photographers to send us our edited photos. If you book Schiemer Entertainment for your wedding day, I guarantee you will not regret it!

Great experience!

From the moment you book with Eric his attention to detail becomes extremely evident. He allows as little or as much control over your event as you would prefer. For us, we were particular about some things and care free about others. Eric made our wedding day EPIC!!!! He was the best DJ and person to work with for our wedding! My husband and I got married in Pittsburgh but were living in Chicago at the time we were planning the wedding. This made it hard to meet with all of our vendors. We originally met Eric through Skype and instantly knew he was going to make magic happen on our dance floor! He was so outgoing and excited for us to get married. We hired him on the spot and we couldn't of asked for a better person to DJ our big day!! He was in constant communication with us and super flexible. He Skyped us many times throughout the planning process to make sure we were all on the same page.

On our actual wedding day we had a couple last minute changes...of course and Eric could not have been calmer. Before our bridal party was introduced we had to switch some songs...with minutes to spare he said no big deal and everything went FLAWLESS!! We even extended the party because the dance floor was never empty! Even when the last song played at 1:00AM people still wanted more of his music! My husband and I got married at Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens and Eric was awesome! We switched DJs a little late in the process but there was nothing left to chance with Eric. He was super well organized, and has an awesome tool on his website where you can add songs to "Love it" "Like it" and "Hate it" lists, so that you can specifically decide the songs you want to hear at your wedding. But also, if you don't have a vision, he's able to take the idea of what you want and put it into action (like he did for the dinner part of the reception). He also has a ton of examples of song lists for what other couples have done, in case you're not sure where to start. All in all, it was an awesome experience.

He was such a joy at the event, had a smile on his face the whole time, was relaxed but professional, and made sure everyone was on the dance floor having an awesome time! Thanks Eric!

Eric was simply amazing. His energy and enthusiasm kept people on the dance floor all night. He helped to also keep everything on track as far as timing for special dances, cutting the cake etc. I didn't even have to think about it. He was kind and funny. I was also completely blown away when a few weeks after our wedding we received a flash drive in the mail. Couples generally have high expectations for their wedding day. They want things to go perfectly. When it comes to Eric on our wedding day, he redefined our definitiion of perfect. He was wonderful to work with from day one and he was so excited and enthusiastic about our wedding, we really felt as though he cared about our day as much as we did. He's such a caring and thoughful person and that comes through throughout the whole planning process. We knew we were in great hands from the beginning; however, on our actual wedding day, Eric really did exceed all our expectations. He handled all the acoustic challenges of hosting a wedding a the Carnegie Museum, kept the night flowing smoothly and kept us on a flexible timeline, and read the room to get everyone up dancing and keep them on the floor all night long.

As if that's not enough, Eric takes unbelievable photos and gets them to you the day after your wedding. The shots he took of our wedding are absolutely stunning and captured so many special moments. We cannot say enough great things about Eric and highly recommend him.

Eric has been by far the BEST vendor of my wedding day! My new husband and I both agreed that he EXCEEDED our expectations in every way. He communicated so well ... we never had days go by where he didn't respond (and you know how important that is when it comes to wedding planning!). His online site was very useful picking out the type of music we wanted played. We knew we’d have people dancing, but always hoped it would be the party it turned out to be! The dance floor was packed all night! We did not expect the pictures, slideshow, and time lapse he gave us ... and to give us that little preview a day after our wedding was amazing! I am a full time wedding photographer in the Pittburgh area, so I had many DJ's I know and have worked with over the years ... Eric was so unbelievably amazing! I wholeheartedly recommend him 100%. Our wedding was at the Carnegie Museum in Pittsburgh, which has very complicated acoustic issues. The museumxxxx recommended Eric because he has worked the venue many times -- and I am SO glad they did. He knew exactly how to make the acoustics work and immediately put me at ease. Eric is also the most positive person I've ever met. He was not only willing to work with me to make sure all of my non-traditional ideas could be implemented, he was actually enthusiastic about them! He made everything so easy and kept the dance floor bumping all night. My reception was perfect thanks to his professionalism and expertise! As a completely unexpected plus he took AMAZING photos of our reception. Waking up to his pictures after he had done such an amazing job DJing the wedding was the icing on the cake I could never have predicted. I could not recommend him more!

Eric is the best DJ, hire him for your wedding! We saw him perform at our friend's wedding, and once they told us how wonderful he is before the big day, we didn't even look for anyone else! Before the wedding Eric is organized, supportive, and available to help. The music was probably the easiest part of planning because Eric makes it so fun and accessible. We met about a week before the wedding to finalize everything and we left the meeting feeling amazing. It was the only meeting my, now husband, left saying he truly enjoyed! On the wedding day the music was perfect. Our venue allowed for an especially long day and Eric knew how to work with the ebb and flow of the dance floor. He danced while performing his duties and even had pictures for us after (that he asked ahead of time to take) - some of which are our favorites from the entire day! You cannot go wrong with Schiemer Entertainment!!

The BEST vendor decision we made was having Eric as our DJ! From the very first time we met him, he made us feel very comfortable and was so genuinely excited for us. He made the planning process so easy with an online portal that we could control and be as hands on or hands off as we wanted. He had set up helpful sample playlists and libraries as well as laid out every important and fun song we would need to think of. On the day of he continued to check in with us before switching gears and smoothly mc'd everything. The dance floor was crowded the entire night.

The most amazing thing that happened and the reason I will recommend him to absolutely everyone is that we had guests say goodbye to us towards the end of the reception who decided to stay until the very end because they just had to dance to the next songs that were played.

Eric sent us a flash drive of pictures and songs that was waiting for us when we got back to our honeymoon. We joked that with all of that we should have paid him more money! If we could give Eric more than 5 stars we would.

If I could give him a 100 out of 5 I would. IF ERIC IS STILL AVAILABLE ON YOUR WEDDING DAY- BOOK HIM NOW!!! Don't look any further. He seriously MADE THE NIGHT. To be honest, before my wedding, I didn't think they could make or break a night, but after the wedding I now know this is literally one of the most important decisions you have to make. I was so impressed BEFORE the wedding even occurred, because he was organized, responded to my emails almost immediately, and was super accommodating (even did a 90s themed song section AND added/changed songs for me the day before the wedding!!) Then on the actual day of the wedding, he had everyone dancing NONSTOP!!!! And was soooo organized which is INCREDIBLY HELPFUL for the bride the day of- he had the introductions all organized, got everyone prepared before the first dances and speeches, and got me for things like the bouquet toss (which is stressful if you are trying to remember all of this by yourself) And then AFTER the wedding he had TONS of pictures AND a time-lapse video and a slideshow which were amazing!!!! And I got them the next day!! Literally I have had tons of guests from the wedding tell me that they want to book him when they get married. The day before the wedding I actual said to my family that 'the only reason I wasn't super stressed was because I knew Eric had things organized and ready for an awesome reception.' Okay my super long review is over- I just had to give him the credit he deserved for being so awesome :)

Eric was absolutely AMAZING to work with! I've never met anyone as passionate and enthusiastic about what they do than Eric. He is extremely organized, talented, helpful and kind. The information he provides you with and his fantastic website truly make this part of wedding planning a piece of cake! It was so fun and easy to go through the website and listen to/select songs, especially when you don't know where to begin. It was also nice because you could go onto the website as many times as you want, re-listen to songs, update your choices, etc. and it's all kept in one place for you! Eric used our music selections and style to create the best, most diverse playlist, keeping our guests happy and dancing all night long! Each song flowed into the next and before we knew it, we were asking for "one more song!". Eric even took outstanding photos at the wedding and shared them with us afterward. Best DJ Ever!

If you're considering hiring Eric for your wedding, our advice is do it and do it immediately! He made our April 2016 wedding reception exactly what we wanted and more by listening to our ideas, lending his experience, and just being an all around awesome person. Everyone had a great time and our guests were on the dance floor all night long. We wanted a super fun dance party without any cheesiness and Eric definitely delivered.

Eric was UNBELIEVABLE!! Our dance floor was not empty all night and he listened very carefully to all my personal preferences/requests prior to our big day. an ADDED BONUS is that he takes his own pictures of the reception and sends them to you! and they are AWESOME!! If you want to have an incredible wedding, book DJ Eric Schiemer right now! My husband and I booked Eric for our September 2015 wedding and he was one of our best decisons we made during that process. He loves DJing and it shows. All night we had guests coming up to us saying what an awesome DJ we had. I wish I was more of a party planner type because if I could work with Eric all the time, I would! He is so responsive, very organized, and by your event he will be your friend!

He's such a steal I still can't believe it - he DJed/MCed our wedding reception, handled our ceremony music (all wireless speakers...no messy cords!), designed our monogram, provided beautiful uplighting, AND took all kinds of fun (and great quality) reception pictures. The pictures were especially awesome because he posted them by the next morning so we got to look at them with our families at brunch. In fact, he took one of my favorite pictures of my husband and I during our first dance. We are even getting it blown up to hang in our house!

On top of that, he gives you a login for your own fantastic online music planner. You enter all the songs you want to play for your different events (i.e., first dance, cake cutting, parent dances, etc.) and if he doesn't have the music, he'll get it. You can also make 3 playlists on there - "Love It" (songs he will definitely play), "Like It" (he'll play some and use the rest as a guide), and "Hate It" (he will BAN - goodbye "Funky Chicken!!). He will totally make your wedding whatever you want it to be. He had the dance floor full with guests of all ages the entire night because he is great at reading the crowd.

Oh, one more thing, he is a total BLAST. My husband and I even stopped dancing at one point to make sure we got a picture with our favorite DJ ever! It was a great experience working with him and he really goes out of his way to make your special day as perfect as possible. Book DJ Eric now!

Eric Schiemer is more than just a DJ that you hire for your wedding. He is the main reason that your wedding will be amazingly fun! The day I sat down to Eric to talk about his services was the day I stopped worrying about whether my wedding would go smoothly or not. Eric is warm, professional, fun, and extremely knowledgeable on all genres of music. He takes your suggestions to heart and helps you expand on your favorite picks.
I had several people tell me that the DJ is the most important part of having your reception run smoothly. This is absolutely true and I could not have been happier to have Eric in charge. I think many DJ’s simply have a list of their usual songs they play without any regard to how the crowd feels. Eric is different. He is able to read to the room and take your musical suggestions and play them at the exact right moment. The result is that people are incredibly happy, energetic, and constantly on the dance floor.
The best part of Schiemer Entertainment is that Eric is more than just a DJ- he is a detail oriented professional that wants your big day to go off without a hitch and will do anything to ensure that will happen. Eric arrived at our venue extra early to guarantee all of his equipment was in place and ready to go. You don’t need to look any further. You’ve found your DJ! If Eric is available for your wedding date, you need to book him. Right. Now! He made our wedding, and I could write a book about his awesomeness. I really did my research on vendors, since music was a huge part of our wedding day. Once I came across Eric’s website and communicated with him via email, I knew he was “our guy”! His professionalism, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and attitude are matched only by his skills as a DJ. We wanted an epic dance party for our wedding - with people on their feet from the beginning to the end - and Eric provided us with that and so much more. His interactive website was so helpful in organizing the songs we really wanted to hear, those which we really didn’t, and those which we thought would get our guests moving, and he worked with us until our plans were “just right.” He even made a custom megamix for my father-daughter dance which was a huge hit. My husband and I are SO glad we chose Eric Scheimer to be our DJ for our July 3rd wedding. We knew he was going to be great after we met with him the first time! Eric had such an inviting and fun energy and was so enthusiastic about every part of our wedding. He made our dreams come to life! Schiemer Entertainment is AWESOME! I knew Eric would be great to work with from the moment my husband and I met him. He was so enthusiastic, and it's apparent that he really loves his job. He's unbelievably organized, flexible, and reliable throughout the planning process, so I had no doubts he would be awesome on the big day. He exceeded my expectations on the day of the wedding, and I actually had a wedding guest tell me, "Your DJ is so good that I forgot there even was a DJ." He's the perfect combination of subtle, yet still energetic and fun. An added bonus is that he takes photos throughout the night that he then uses to create a photo montage for you. The pictures were STUNNING and it was so nice to have some photos immediately after the wedding (he gave them to us the next day), since we have to wait 6 weeks to get the pictures back that our photographer took. Eric is a DJ that truly and deeply loves his craft and has no hesitation to go above and beyond. From our first meeting to after our wedding, Eric made us feel like more then just another client. He was in constant contact and was always available whenever we had a questions/concern. We worried that our ceremony being outside would be an issue with the lack electrical outlets, Eric made it perfect. We worried that having a wedding in a barn, not much dancing would happen, but Eric assured us that getting people to dance wouldn't be an issue and it wasn't! Even from having hard to find songs for our ceremony/reception, Eric had no problem getting them and in great quality. On our wedding day he was absolutely amazing! To my family, weddings are all about the dancing. The ceremony, food, flowers, etc are of course important - but...... it's really all about the dancing. Eric provided the ceremony music, the cocktail hour music, and the reception music for my daughter's recent wedding at Succop Nature Park in Butler, PA. My daughter and her husband selected some songs for each aspect of the event, and the remainder of the music chosen by Eric was spot on . He kept the dance floor full all night, and was also a terrific MC. In addition to the customary DJ duties he took a number of beautiful photographs throughout the day, and created a video set to their "first dance" song - which he posted on You Tube. Eric is not only terrific at his job, but he is also a kind, warm person who is a wealth of wedding information and a pleasure to work with . If I ever plan another event requiring a DJ, I will make sure he is available before choosing a date!

The first time we met Eric we knew right away he would be perfect for our wedding reception! He sure was!!
Eric has a very easy to use Web page to help organize your desired Playlist for the reception .
On the day of the wedding, Eric completely exceeded our expectations. The dance floor was packed all night long, even an hour and half AFTER the bar closed!!! He did such an amazing job and I can't say enough about how lucky we are to of had him be our DJ. Our guests are still commenting on how much fun they had and tell us how great our DJ was.
Eric also captured some sweet dance floor footage with his GO PRO camera and sent us a beautifully made DVD with a video, slideshow and still photos over our reception. If you're looking for a professional DJ, with plenty of wedding experience who will personalize your day, then look no further, ERIC is the best!!!!

If you are planning a wedding any time soon, do not hesitate: Contact Eric Schiemer and prepare to be wowed! Eric was an absolutely amazing vendor to work with during the planning of our wedding. Extremely friendly and very professional, Eric was always available and enthusiastic with any questions or ideas we had. Eric took the time to sit down with us and explain the playlist layout on his terrific website. It was extremely user friendly and gave us the opportunity to customize our entire wedding to what we wanted.

As we got closer to the wedding, we worked closely with Eric on details for the big day and how everything would flow. Eric customized our schedule for the reception to ensure that everything flowed smoothly and stayed on time, which it did, thanks to him! When the day came, Eric brought great excitement and professionalism to our venue and created such a fun atmosphere, without being overbearing, cheesy or intrusive, as some DJs can be at weddings.

Additionally, Eric created an amazing uplighting scheme at our venue to take it to the next level. He matched the purple used for many of our elements for our entrance, first dance and dinner, then threw in some bright oranges, pinks, golds and greens to really create a fun atmosphere for dancing after dinner. The lighting combined with the great sound of the music made our reception great and it's all thanks to Eric!

I would recommend Eric to any couple planning their wedding. He will go above and beyond to make your wedding special and keep the dancing going all night!

He is the only vendor we worked with that went out of his way to make sure our was as special as we imagined it! I don't even know where to begin. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Eric for our wedding. He made everything so smooth and easy for us throughout the entire process. Eric would always take the time to check in with us and make sure that we were ready to move on with the evening before he made any announcements. He was also incredibly flexible and allowed us to change the entrance song for our bridal party a minute before their entrance was to begin. The reception was even better than we imagined it would be and we owe much of the credit to Eric. Don't tell our photographers, but it looks like we didn't even need them at the reception because the pictures that Eric took (all while still providing amazing music and atmosphere) were so amazing. Eric is incredibly talented and we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to work with him on our Big Day. Anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding in the Pittsburgh area must give Eric a call because he is simply the best.

I started writing this review no less than a dozen times because I couldn't find the right words to express how absolutely unbelievable Eric is, not only as a DJ, but as a person. I spent weeks searching for the right DJ for our reception, and as soon as I talked to Eric on the phone, I knew he was perfect for our wedding. After meeting him, we felt so comfortable with him that we just gave him a general idea of what we wanted, and he took that little bit of guidance and created the most special night we could have ever imagined. Our guests loved him, and we absolutely adore him!!! He flawlessly transitioned from cocktail hour - to dinner music - to dancing. Every song he played, our guests LOVED! I cannot say enough good things about Eric and his amazing talents. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for giving us such a wonderful reception, Eric!! We think the world of you!!

Eric made the night unforgettable. I have been to weddings with bad DJs and everyone just sits around and ultimately leaves early. I am not kidding when I say that there wasn't enough room on the dance floor. We had everyone - both young and old from both sides of the family - out on the dance floor until the very last dance.

Eric was incredibly professional. He is a charismatic, outgoing guy who definitely knows his business. He gave us a lot of suggestions and tips and made sure that everything ran smoothly throughout the night. I had plenty of people who told me even weeks after the wedding that Eric was a GREAT DJ. He had the right type of music for everything - from the quaint cocktail hour, to our very happy entrance to the dance music that kept everyone up and moving all night.

One of the best things about Schiemer that we really took advantage of is doing everything online. You can sample all of his music and even can rate music in your profile to give him a better idea of what you like and don't. He really read my mind. I can think of at least 2 songs that I wanted (and forgot to tell him!). He played them both before I could even talk to him. He made the night truly unforgettable.

One last thing that we really loved about Schiemer Entertainment was that Eric brings his camera and takes photos for every wedding he works. He took AMAZING photos - especially of late night dancing and the venue before we arrived so we could see what it looked like without people there! He posted all of them the next morning. We literally looked through them at breakfast the morning after our wedding! His photos were great quality and we really appreciated this.

Eric, thank you for making our wedding amazing. I would highly recommend Schiemer to anyone and wish we could have another one to work with him again!

DJ Eric Schiemer is the BEST! He really listened to what we wanted instead of making us buy a package that didn't suit our needs. His experience and service rivals the higher-priced DJ's in the Pittsburgh area and guess what... he's better... so you're getting a bargain! He has any type of music you could possibly want: Top 40, 80's, oldies, you name it. Anything we requested, he found a way to make it happen. Our whole theme was Old Hollywood so he gave us songs used in movies for our cocktail and dinner hours and movie soundtrack themes for our reception entrance songs. Plus, my husband and I are big fans of Aerosmith and Metallica... not easy songs to dance to... but Eric whipped up a mashup of our two favorite bands that everyone could jam along to. One of the things we liked best was the planning form on his website, which made setting up our entire day a piece of cake. This was especially important since we live in Georgia and couldn't simply pop by to see him any time changes needed to be made. He’s very responsive via phone and e-mail, as well, which makes planning the event a breeze. As an added bonus, Eric took candid photos of our wedding and sent us a DVD which included the photos and photo slideshow he put together for his website. We were able to easily share that link with family and friends, just days after our wedding, which was a nice sneak peek while we waited for our actual wedding photos and video to be completed. Eric is the triple threat in the world of wedding entertainment: awesome DJ, awesome photographer, and awesome MC for the best night of your life!

I've gotta say, I personally think a DJ makes or breaks a wedding. And I also have to say that we were recommended Eric by our photographer who works with A LOT of DJs. From the moment we met Eric we were sold. He is so genuine, honest, fun, knowledgeable, professional... the adjectives go on and on and on. Ok, let's get the specs out of the way— he has great unobtrusive equipment, he has a GIANT library of music, and he approaches this very much as a science, putting all the pieces together to make a great party in your space. But these are not the things that make a truly first-class DJ. That is the 'it' factor. He's so classy. He MCs like a pro—the party is all about the attendants having a great time. And he. puts. together. such. great. playlists. We picked the music, but he gave us lots of hot tips and then pieced it all together at just the right time. I had guests coming up to me the whole night saying how great our DJ was. The other cool thing about Eric is that he has all these fun extras like uplighting. I'm sure in some venues you may not need that, but in ours it really added to the ambiance of the space (Children's Museum of Pittsburgh Big Red Room). The success of a wedding I think hinges so much on a great DJ, and man, Eric is THE BEST!!!!

Eric is AMAZING! We were lucky enough to experience his expertise at our friends wedding. We knew we wanted him as soon as we started our wedding planning. Eric is so professional and patient. Even though we were horrible with getting him our final selections, he made sure we were happy and had everything we needed! He's great and we highly recommend him! Oh be sure to check out his new up lighting, we had so many complements on how pretty they were!

Eric made the impossible occur. Sadly, I had a TON of restrictions on the style and playlist but he kept the party going until the very end. My In laws were about to drive me insane with the demands they had on a dj and despite their requirements, they had a very enjoyable time. I've been told the reception was perhaps one of the most enjoyable they have ever attended. Thank you tremendously Eric. You did a spectacular job and I shall continue to recommend you to anyone getting married.

Eric is a dream to work with. He has incredible knowledge of a wide range of genres and owns practically every song ever recorded. And if he doesn't have it, he'll get it for you! He's available by phone or online, which is great for ironing out all those last-minute details. His website is easy to navigate and incredibly useful. You can plan your entire day or let him choose the music. He is also quite the photographer. After our wedding he sent us a CD of over 100 candid shots as well as a beautiful montage of the ceremony, set to our first dance music.

One of the things we liked best was the planning form on his website, which made it a breeze to set up our entire day. This was especially important as we live over 2 hours away from our wedding venue and couldn't simply pop by to see him any time changes needed to be made.

As an added bonus, Eric took candids of our wedding and sent us a DVD which included 2 sets of the photos and the slideshow which he had made for his website.

You can't go wrong with by using Schiemer Entertainment. Eric has been in the business for a very long time and knows how to deliver customer satisfaction.

Don't go anywhere else. Stop where you are and just hire Eric right now. You will never regret it. I was getting text messages from friends and family members all day after my wedding saying "The wedding was beautiful and your DJ was amazing." "Your DJ really kept the party going." "The DJ you hired was so awesome. He played all the best songs all night." Eric made me feel at ease all night. He made sure the right people were in the room before he did anything (ie. dances and bouquet toss.) He is super organized and took the time to get to know me before my wedding so he knew how me and my husband wanted the reception to go. He took pictures at the reception and made a video using our first dance song. He posted them on facebook the next day. THEN he took it one step further and sent me a CD with everything on it.
I've been to a ton of Pittsburgh weddings and the DJ's have been ok. Eric is top notch. He blows other DJ's out of the water. I am so happy to have found him. He's worth a whole lot more than what he's charging too!

AMAZING, WONDERFUL, PROFESSIONAL, FUN, BEST DJ EVER!! Those words do not even begin to do Eric justice! He is phenomenal at what he does! Eric definitely keeps the crowd entertained and the party going! He is EXCELLENT at reading the crowd and knowing what to play next! One thing that we loved about Eric's work from the start was his website. You list songs that you want to play and then are allowed to rank some as "LOVE IT." If it gets that rating, he won't play it unless both the bride the groom are available to enjoy the song! Eric also has a lot of fun taking reception photos! We have so many classic photos from the reception and after our photographer left for the evening. He then puts together a reception video and posts it on his website. Our video was set to the song that was also our first dance! LOVED IT! He also posts wedding playlists to help give couples ideas for their playlists and also as something sentimental for the new bride and groom to remember forever! Eric is extremely professional, attentive to detail, easy going, and just all around FUN. Eric helped us put a slideshow together and even saved some room at the end so we could text him a wedding photo of the bridal party to put as the last photo in the show! EVERYONE LOVED IT! 100% RECOMMEND SCHIEMER ENTERTAINMENT!

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Eric is such a professional and knows exactly what he is doing. His website is so comprehensive and brilliantly put together. Eric was an absolute blast to work with. He helped us create the perfect playlist for our wedding reception and guide us through the night with ease. His list of available songs were endless, even with our more indie tastes, he had a lot to choose from and if he didn't have it, he would get it. We met with him twice to discuss our wedding day and each time was enjoyable. He had great ideas as far as how the night should layout and music selections we didn't think about. Even when the electric slide came on and I had no idea what to do, he jumped in and helped get the party started. He was very professional and we would absolutely recommend him to anyone getting married.

This review is coming from the husband, reason I say this is because I expected a lot out of the DJ. With that said Eric Schiemer is hands down worth every penny we spent! I have been to a wedding where the couple got a discount on a DJ and the reception has horrific. You will not be disappointed one bit with Eric Schiemer. Just to name a few examples of why he is the best, everything is done on your time. He understands that its about the wedding couple and not a strict schedule. If you want 5 minutes before you cut the cake he naturally keeps the party rolling without anyone noticing. Another example, we were minutes from being introduced to the reception party and had a mix up with the wedding party, what I thought would have been a big deal, Eric just handled it and it was as if there wasn’t even an issue. I can’t say enough this DJ is worth every penny. Also a huge added bonus, he takes pictures as well and puts together a DVD with no extra charge. The pics are not amateur shots either. He takes great pics! If your looking to pick a DJ for your wedding and you don’t want to worry about how the reception will go, then pick Eric schiemer, he has a natural pulse for wedding receptions and he will want you to extend your party for extra time!
