Fantastic!
We absolutely loved all the items we rented from Ranco for our Hilton Head Island wedding! Their x-back wooden chairs added such a great beachy touch to our ocean-front wedding, along with the driftwood chargers. They were very flexible and even added some items last minute for us like the napkins, chair cushions, and space heaters. They were very responsive and timely, and everything was set up beautifully! I'd 100% recommend them for any wedding and they have a wide variety of rental items to choose from! -

very easy to work with and nice!
I had my wedding at the Forsyth park in front of the fountain 2/1/2020 and rented their folding fruitwood chairs. It looked very nice and was set up the way I wanted. My day of coordinator was able to be in touch with them and they worked with her as well. I heard about them from a friend that got married in the same spot almost exactly a year before me so I knew they would be able to work with setting up in that park. -

Rentals were easy and fun!
Everyone at Ranco was so easy to work with and so understanding! If we wanted to change any detail, down to the color of the napkin, it was as easy as a phone call! Highly recommend this company. It can be overwhelming to generate counts for different items and select the details, but the Ranco team has it down. Our wedding was beautiful, and we thank Ranco for their help! -

Lovely and Good Quality Products
We were very happy with the dance floor and linens we rented from Savannah Special Events. We also had a tent on reserve for our outdoor wedding, and it was such a relief to know that would be an option if we needed it (thank goodness we didn't). We did have a little bit of buckling with the dance floor, but Savannah Special Events was quick to step in and make that right with us. I highly recommend their products and am impressed with their customer service.

Kendall and her team was amazing.
We couldn’t have asked for a better rental company. Kendall was there for us for every decision. She made it a point to personalize everything for us and shared with us examples she has seen in the past; made recommendations based on what has worked and what hasn’t for our venue, and everything in between. Kendall even gave us the option of having the tent or not the day-of our wedding (it was scheduled to rain but didn’t!), which she didn’t have to. Their customer service is superb. It was a pleasure working with Kendall and the Ranco team. I strongly recommend their services. -

Thank you Ashley, for a job well done. We rented chairs, tables, linens, glassware, and the dance floor from Savannah Special Events by Ranco, and everything was perfect. The delivery, set-up, and pick-up was very professional and timely. We "tweeked" our order numerous times, changing linen colors, table sizes, and types of glassware, and quantities, and Ashley always was pleasant and helpful, and would instantly give me our new quote. They worked hand-in-hand with our coordinator, Emily DeLoach, and this made our rental experience much easier. I would definitely recommend Savannah Special Events by Ranco, and again, thank you Ashley! -

Ashley was a joy to work with. She has top notch customer service skills. We rented tables and chairs for our rehearsal dinner and they arrived on time and were picked up the next day. We never had to worry. The experience was very stress free. -

They had awesome farm style picnic tables for us to rent for our welcome party. They were expensive but they delivered, set up, and picked up the tables with no need for us to even be present. -

My husband and I ordered our linens through them and they turned out awesome! I couldn't be more pleased how nice everything looked when the table linens went on the tables. They also worked really well with my coordinator, which made everything easier for me! -

This is the second time I have rented items from Ranco in Augusta, GA and I am very satisfied with their service. I rented a 25 ton air conditioning unit for a wedding this last weekend. They came out and set it up on schedule. They built a screen around the unit to hide it which looked great, and they made it look good on the inside as well. The unit cooled well, and I had many at the reception thank me for providing this during a hot summer day. -

I held my wedding in Tybee Island so I used the Savannah, GA location. I dealt with Kendall, who was very kind and responsive to every thing I needed. We had our reception outdoors at my husbands aunt's beach house, so using this company was basically our "venue." They gave the best advice on how to set up, gave me updated floor plans so I could get a visual - since I live in Kentucky and was planning a destination wedding. They are very professional and worked well within my budget and it turned out to be more than I imagined. I couldn't have been happier! -

I rented from the Augusta location and they were very helpful. My husband and I were both overseas while we were planning so we did everything over the phone and had no problems. They delivered the items to our venue the day before the wedding, so this allowed time for the venue to set the items up the morning of. We only needed champagne flutes, round tables, and cocktail tables, but we were very pleased with their service. -

Dealt with Maureen. Very easy & efficient service. E-mailed for chairs for our outdoor wedding. Everything was taken care of: set-up and removal. Made the whole day very easy. They were also very affordable and offered both white and natural wood chairs. -

SSE was very easy to work with. They knew the set-up of my venue and recommended the best amount of seating, tables, linens, etc. for our big day. Kendall was great about getting back to me and accommodating our changes. Their burlap tablecloths were the perfect touch for my garden reception.On the day of the wedding, everything went smoothly (as far as I know!) and we had no issues at all. -

Kendall at SSE is the best. She is so experienced and offers great advice on decor, size and number of tables and is super flexible. The number of guests will fluctuate and I was changing my rental order up until the week of the wedding and nothing was a problem for SSE. I appreciated their hardwork and everything looked beautiful. -

I planned my savannah wedding from atlanta and spoke with just about everyone who answers the phone at this company. Everyone was polite and very helpful! One thing I dont like is that if you pay using your credit card with them they charge you a 3% fee (which has not happened to me since 2006) and I am highly opposed to excess fees and they do have a lot of them. I looked at the price break down and there is a fee, taxes, convience fees, delivery fees, tax fees on the delivery... the fees were endless. In the end, I am beyond glad that I went with them and paid all of the fees because they really came through for me and went above and beyond. The day before the wedding they were able to track down a tent for me (it rainded on my wedding day at my outdoor park wedding) which was huge because savannah and south carolina had rented all the tents out. without them, my wedding would have been a soggy mess! -

we only rented 2 large silver and gold samovars, 1 silver ice bucket, and 100 champagne saucers for our wedding b/c the venue had everything else, but those rentals MADE the wedding spectacular!
we had a champagne tower at the cocktail hour and we had pre-ceremony hot chocolate in the 2 samovars for our winter wedding, and it could not have been more elegant or more beautiful!!!
they were helpful and answered all my emails and i would work with them again in a heartbeat! -

We used Savannah special events to rent tables and chairs for our rehearsal dinner and wedding ceremony. We planned our Savannah wedding all the way from Wisconsin so everything was done via email or phone.
I can't say if the prices of this company are better than any other company. However, what I can tell you is that they are the only company I contacted that responded promptly to all my emails and provided me with a written, professional proposal. Being a busy working bride I did not have time to hound vendors and wait for people who took months to get back to me. Customer service went a long way.
The delivery men were also prompt with drop off and pick-up times, always calling ahead. They were friendly as well. I have no complaints about my experience with Savannah special events. -

They were the only company we could find black wooden chairs. They delivered them, set them up and took them down without a hitch. They looked beautiful on the white marble floor.

We got our tables, chairs, and a couple of linens from Ranco Tents & Savannah Special Events and were very pleased with their business. Their prices are comparable to many other wedding rentals and they were every professional throughout our correspondances. Even their delivery staff were cordial and polite, and emulated professionalism in the way they conducted themselves during drop-off. Very pleased with their services and their products, would consider them again if we ever do another big event! -

I was pleased with the service I received from this vendor. Kendall was very responsive and patient with me ( I changed my order request at least 10 times). The delivery and set up was on time, quick and accurate, even in the rain. The only complaint I have is they didn't have all of the equipment that I wanted originally. Other than that, Ranco is the way to go. I looked at the other vendors in the area and Ranco had the lowest quote. -

We rented 3 farm tables, silver chiavari chairs, silver acrylic charges and drink dispensers from Ranco. They were great to communicate with via email and adapted my quote at least 5 times without complaint. The set up was timely and professional, and they worked with my planner Bonnie Kaar to make sure everything was picked up by the time we had to be cleared out of the venue the next day. They were a little on the expensive side in my opinion, but worth it! -

Although we did not work with Savannah Special Events directly (our wedding planner was the middle man), all items we rented for our wedding were great. Their crew even came out the day of the wedding to setup an additional tent to allow us to have our tented reception with Hurricane Sandy fast approaching. They also purchased brand new chairs prior to the wedding to allow us to have the right color brown which matched our decor and dance floor. I would highly recommend them to any bride. -

Savannah Special Events was definitely the best deal I could find for the chairs for my ceremony (white resin padded), not charging an arm and a leg for delivery like some other companies. I couldn't get in touch with them through their website, but they were extremely helpful over the phone. My only complaint comes from the day of. I was told that they would arrive to pick my chairs back up around 1:30, but that if we were running a little behind, they would just wait until it was appropriate to start packing the chairs up. Instead, the men just walked right up and literally asked people to get up and move and just started packing up chairs in the middle of my pictures, leaving my guests standing around. The chairs were beautiful and the quality was as expected, but I was a bit disappointed (and embarrassed) by the way they went about pick up. -

This vendor was very accommodating to what we needed. Very easy to talk with and not very demanding as well. It made the planning go very easily for us. The delivery of the items was early. The only negative thing I had to say about this company is that three of the one hundred chairs I rented had pieces that were broken upon delivery. I requested to set everything up, so I told them about it after the wedding and their response was very appropriate, stating that they would like into their inventory to get those issues fixed.-

We got our tent, tables, chairs, bars, glassware- pretty much everything for our outdoor wedding from Savannah Special Events. At first I had a little trouble getting the staff to respond to questions, but by the time the event came around, everything was perfectly set up and ready. We had both our ceremony and reception in the same garden and had to rearrange everything and set up tables in between, which was done with no issues, staff was on site to take care of it. The tent with liner and twinkle lights was beautiful. All in all, everything turned out perfectly. :) -

I rented my ceremony chairs from Ranco and they were very evfficient and professional. The price seemed steep, but I also got a quote from Fairytales and Ranco was the cheaper of the two, so I guess that is the going rate. Overall, I would recommend them. -

Beautiful chairs, very flexible
I kept forgetting things such as the cake and gift table and they were very quick to send me an amended invoice. Although I think there was some turnover and no one notified me. I was trying to contact with the original email address and my email bounced back. I had a second email address and she proceeded with updating my order right away but I was a little taken aback. -

Overall a Good Experience
Of all of the rental companies in the area, I'm very glad we went with Ranco.
The good:
- Great selection of options to pick from. Prices were very reasonable compared to the rest of the area.
- These people really came through on the day of. They sent a crew of about six guys who were there on time (8am, coming from an hour away) and were efficient and prompt at unloading our rentals. They set up the tables and chairs, which took most of the work off our shoulders.
The bad:
- Emails took a long time to get answered, and were sometimes answered incompletely. For example, we asked for a photo of the bar top and it took maybe four days for them to send it.
- They forgot our sweetheart table! We ended up with an extra of a different size, but it could have been bad if we had needed that for something else.
Overall, I'd give them a pretty strong recommendation. Glad we went with them. -

HORRIBLE! Terrible customer service. Associates are not knowledgeable and management is unwilling to work with customers when their equipment fails. I rented 100 chairs and 3 tables. They treated me like I was unimportant and did not matter because my order was so small. Then when my cake table collapsed because it was missing parts they refused to refund anymore than the $12.50 that I paid for that table. Their 12.50 table ruined my $480 wedding cake before I ever got to see it. The people that set up the table at the reception said it was missing rivots or screws. The GM-Andy said they set up the table and one of his guys sat on it and it was fine. Other items we rented were held together with duct tape. Beware of this company, they only care about their high dollar customers. $400 worth of second rate rentals and a ruined reception is all I got. -
