Sabrina is such a talented artist! We went to high school together and I always knew that once she became a makeup artist that I would hire her for my wedding! And I did! She was prompt, super detailed and very fast! She is also the sweetest person ever! Thanks again Sabrina!

Best Beauty team in NYC

Sabrina and her team were amazing! They got me, my bridesmaids, my mom, and my mother in law ready for my wedding and i couldn't have asked for a better team! I'm so glad that i found her through Instagram! They were very professional and i loved their style. I also got a test trial with Sabrina which was great in preparation for the big day. I gave her some of my inspirations for both hair and make up and she made it happen. Towards the end of the night, i had a surprise hula dance i wanted to perform for my husband. I knew i wanted my hair down and wavy to go with my haku lei. Sabrina made it so that my hair was easy to take down at the end of the night (and had waves from the curls) for this performance so that my lei would fit around my head nicely. I also had Sabrina do my hair and make up for our welcome cocktails. I would highly recommend hiring Sabrina and her team for any of your make up and hair needs.

I worked with Sabrina a few times leading up to my wedding, beginning with hair and makeup for my engagement shoot. I have ridiculously thick, kinky/curly hair and even with blowing it out, it's a challenge to deal with. But Sabrina did her thing for my engagement shoot, my bridal shower, and my wedding. All she required was an inspiration pic or a few, and she went straight to work! I don't think of myself as photogenic, but I felt fabulous every time she worked on me, and the makeup looks glowy and natural, especially in photos. On the day of my wedding, Lianne worked on my mom and some bridesmaids and then Sabrina took over later in the day. Lianne was super sweet, listened to what everyone wanted, and did her thing! Sabrina was such a champ because one person showed up late then disappeared for a while to find an ATM, someone else had used a product for the first time that promised to keep her hair frizz free but it just temporarily altered the texture of her hair in a bad way, so she had to blow her hair out again, then my grandmother asked to get her eyes done because she had forgotten her eyeshadow at home and that took some time. Sabrina was a pro, and though I was definitely stressed because we started to run late, we thankfully had a bit of buffer time built in our photography schedule and it all worked out in the end. I'm sure Sabrina and her team are used to working with stressed out brides and mishaps on the day of, and boy did it feel like everything was going off track for me, but she handled it with patience and was able to work quickly and flawlessly. Everyone was glowing, just gorgeous, and hair and makeup lasted all day, all night long! We felt like royalty for a day, and after the headaches and detours in our schedule, it was all perfect in the end.

I can say without a doubt that Sabrina will be my hair and makeup artist anytime I have a special event to attend.
First, I was skeptical about booking a service without a referral without knowing the artist because of her website and reviews was outstanding I felt comfortable given her a shot. After my trail with Sabrina, I immediately knew Sabrina was the one. I never wore make-up before I expressed that to Sabrina, I told her I wanted to look natural. For my trail, I had three hairstyles in mind 2 updos and 1 down. Sabrina suggested we do the hairstyle down first it came out so gorgeous I immediately knew that's the style I wanted for my wedding so, I didn't even bother to try the other hairstyles. Before Sabrina let me see myself she warned me that I will look just like me but the celebrity version. Boy was she right I looked beautiful I was super pleased with the outcome and when my fiance saw me after the trail he loved the hair and make-up.
Now for my big day, Sabrina did my M-O-H and one of my bridesmaid makeup. They immediately fell in love with her service they loved the outcome as well and are definitely planning on using her in the future. I looked so beautiful on my wedding day. Everyone is raving about how gorgeous I looked and my M-O-H and bridesmaid. By the time I reached my now husband he was crying because he said I look so beautiful. He also wanted me to tell you, Sabrina, thanks for making me look like a princess on our wedding day. I am truly happy I found you, Sabrina, you are so amazing very easy to work with and

Sabrina was the makeup artist for two of my closest friends' weddings. She did an amazing job and came highly recommended, so I picked her to do my own wedding. I had my makeup trial with Sabrina the day I did my engagement photos and was so happy with the results. She really listened to what I wanted and was open to making changes and suggestions. On my wedding day, she made me look like myself, but so much better! I teared up several times throughout the day and my makeup definitely stayed in place (I did airbrush). Her team also worked on my mom and bridesmaids and everyone looked beautiful!

We recently had our wedding on 2/3/18 and Sabrina and Lianne did our hair and makeup. Sabrina was patient and amazing from the trial through getting ready for the big day. Some of members of my wedding party are very picky and it was amazing they did not have any complaints once their hair and makeup was complete.

Sabrina did an incredible job on my hair and makeup for my September 2017 wedding! I had a trial with her about two months prior to the wedding and wasn’t happy with the hairstyle I chose, and she offered me a complimentary hair trial to make sure I was happy with my look for my big day. I had a traditional Hindu ceremony in the morning, and a Catholic wedding in the afternoon, followed by a reception, so I needed a versatile look that lasted the whole day, and Sabrina DEFINITELY delivered! She arrived bright and early with her assistant on my wedding day, and we (mom, sis, and grandma) were all ready on time. My hair and makeup lasted over 12 hours and looked flawless in all my pictures! I would HIGHLY recommend Sabrina!

I can say without a doubt that Sabrina was my top vendor! Before the wedding she did an amazing trial that blew away any expectations I had for my my hair and makeup. As indecisive as I am, she even did a free retrial on my hair because I wanted to have an updo with pieces down rather than all up. She is truly an artist and I’m SO happy my sister found her for the wedding! Sabrina was also a very calming and relaxing presence. She works carefully and quietly which is just what you need on a hectic morning. Sabrina truly took my ideas and inspiration and brought them to life in the most magical way.

Everyone is raving about how amazing we looked. Sabrina was also flexible and stayed longer for us to do touch ups after photos and before the ceremony. Not only did I get endless compliments, so did my sister, mom and mother in low. Thank you so much sabrina. You truly made me feel like a princess. I’ve never felt more beautiful in my entire life. I had a trial with Sabrina. We took notes and on my wedding day she made me look spectacular! I felt like a movie star at the red carpet. Sabrina was recommended by a co-worker. She and her associate were amazing! Starting with the trial experience, we felt so comfortable. Sabrina and Lianne are the best! They arrived on time but were patient when my bridesmaid was running late. They are both so talented in hair and makeup. My bridesmaids loved their hair and makeup. It has been one year since my wedding, and I still jokingly tell my husband 'that's the best it's ever going to get', because I can honestly say I have never felt as beautiful as I did the night of my reception. Sabrina did hair and make up for my wedding last October. From the moment we completed the trial, I knew I would hire her! Sabrina is knowledgeable and was able to get my vision without much direction. She's also friendly and is open to chatting which definitely helped set the mood as weddings can bring out the worst in people. Sabrina is the absolute best! You can't get anyone more friendly and professional. If you want someone who will do an amazing job look no further. I booked her for my May 2016 wedding and I was not disappointed at all. She came to my home for a makeup trial and took her time. She tried several looks on me and did not rush the process. A couple of weeks before my wedding when I had doubts about the look I chose, she did another trial with me FREE OF CHARGE!!! I would honestly use Sabrina again for any event that I have. Sabrina is a hair and makeup artist sent from heaven!! After having a wedding trial go wrong with a different hair/makeup vendor, I found Sabrina and I am so glad that I did. She traveled to my apartment for my trial and I showed her photos of what I was looking for and she worked her magic. Not only did she totally follow what I asked for, but she made me look and feel so beautiful. I've had so many make up artists shun my request for a black smokey eye and she didn't shy away from it and I LOVED the result.

She showed up at our hotel on time the day of the wedding and they worked so quickly that we were actually done getting ready much faster than we thought we'd be! She brought on two assistants to help with my large bridal party and they were both so nice and did an amazing job on my girls. She also got hair extensions for me for the big day and put them in for a fuller up-do. I was a little disappointed in the color of the extensions, as they were much blonder than my hair was even though I tried to send photos of my hair color in lighting that I thought was the most accurate, but I couldn't do much about it since the wedding was only a few hours away! Overall, I'm happy with the end result and I highly recommend her for your wedding!

I think narrowing down a makeup artist and hair stylist was probably the hardest thing for me to do. I went through portfolios and contacted at least 5 different vendors before I stumbled on to Sabrina's webpage. And after my trial, I just knew. Sabrina listened to what I wanted and saw the vision that I had in mind and executed it perfectly. On my wedding day, not only did her and her team do hair and makeup on 6 different women with different hair types and lengths, and complexions (and do them well!), she also had to deal with my mother being her difficult self. Sabrina and her team pulled it off amazingly - my bridal party could not stop raving about their hair and makeup and I had never felt so beautiful as I did on that day. Book her...you will not be disappointed.

Sabrina Gilbert and her skillful assistants were amazing! They made my daughter, myself and the bridal party absolutely beautiful. They knew exactly what glamorous look we were looking for to compliment the wedding's theme. After having done several trials with other makeup crews, we just were not comfortable with any of them. Then, I came across Sabrina's website on the wedding wire and read her reviews. And after looking at her website, I just knew that she was perfect for the job. Her pricing was very reasonable and we didn't even have a trial. They arrived right on time and were extremely skillful and professional. Everyone at the wedding were absolutely stunned by the bride and the bridal party's glamorous look. I highly recommend them. Sabrina and her crew will not disappoint. Sabrina and her team did the hair and makeup for my August 6, 2016 wedding, as well as my bridal party (8 ladies) and mother, aunt and mother-in law. With such a big party I wanted someone who could execute a flawless look and keep us on schedule, and Sabrina and her team did just that. I also had a pretty diverse group in the wedding party and Sabrina is able to master the art of makeup for a variety of skin tones and ethnicities. I was really thrilled with my trial, and Sabrina worked with me on my vision and the things I love/don’t like – there was no cookie cutter makeup here. On the day of my wedding I looked radiant, elegant, and most importantly, like myself. I wasn’t overly made up but the makeup photographed beautifully. Sabrina provided a timeline in advance and she and her team were ahead of schedule! I highly recommend her for your wedding or event hair and makeup. She’s a gem!

I loved Sabrina!!! I've never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day. My make up was flawless & gorgeous + it lasted forever! Loved my hair! I wanted to wear it down and together we figured out a way to keep it curled all night long.. suggested hair extensions, let the curls set, the right hair spray and it was perfect! Sabrina and her assistant were very professional, yet fun & cool! So many complements from my girls and family.. she was early & EXTREMELY flexible and adapted to additional requests, was very relaxed about it. As a bride that is something you need, so important. She even helped me with my groom gift!

Sabrina was terrific - truly, she is incredibly talented and professional, and she is a kind person. I was not very comfortable with wearing so much makeup, but she was patient and very gave me so much confidence; she suggested ideas that made me feel comfortable and beautiful. She and her assistant did an amazing job on our wedding day - they were punctual and finished with plenty of time while not rushing at all. They did both hair and makeup for myself and even for my mom and bridesmaids. Everyone loved them both - not only their work (which was beautiful) but also their kindness and professionalism. We are grateful to have worked with them on our wedding day!

Both my wife & I were blown away with the transformation on both of us. Sabrina had her work cut out for her, because I was partly red from the sun, a wee bit tanned and the rest of my face was white due to vitaligo, I also have psoriasis on my forehead.
I was wary with the full kit Sabrina pulled out because I'm not a make-up person, but I was determined I was gonna be tweaked here & there to look good for my soon to be wife.
Our make-up was awsome, gave me so much confidence, thanks to Sabrina our wedding pictures were fantastic

Hiring Sabrina to do my hair was one of the best decisions I made when planning my wedding (November 2015). I have had my hair done many times before for other events, and every time, I have had trouble with hair stylists not quite capturing what I wanted - Sabrina was the first stylist who truly nailed my vision every time. I initially thought I wanted to wear my hair down, and Sabrina did a beautiful job, but after re-evaluating my dress, I decided to get a second hair trial with her for an up-do, and it was absolutely stunning. She was so friendly and easy to work with, and completely understood what myself and the other women in my bridal party wanted right from the start. My hair stayed in place beautifully all night, and I received so many compliments on how gorgeous it was. I will be recommending Sabrina to all of my friends/family for future weddings.

Sabrina was just lovely!
She understood what I wanted and she worked with my skin to bring out the best of me. Everyone at the wedding kept commenting on my makeup and how gorgeous I looked. The makeup lasted me 13 hours and that's because I decided to take it off. I swear I didn't even need to touch up my bright berry lipstick! and I ate, drank, and kissed like normal!

Sabrina was so easy to work with. She listened to all my wants/needs and DELIVERED! My wedding was June 5, 2015. She arrived early so she and her assistant could set up and we didn't have to rush. My makeup and hair was as beautiful on my wedding day as was the day of my trial. Her assistant did my girls hair and makeup and she was just as TALENTED. They were beautiful before, but GORGEOUS after their makeup was done. Sabrina also did the girls hair and the girls could not stop raving about her and how much they loved the way they looked. Sabrina and her team are truly awesome. As an Indian bride, I was initially hesitant about using a non-Indian for my hair (since it can get pretty complicated with the ridiculous amount of jewelry / braid extensions / clothing that gets pinned on there) -- but rest assured, Sabrina can do it all :) Every one of my bridesmaids looked amazing, as did my mom! And I loved (LOVED!) my hair and makeup.

Also, just as importantly, Sabrina is incredibly responsive over email, very generous with her time at my trial, and VERY organized with her time. She sent me a detailed schedule for getting ready in the morning, and her and her team stayed right on schedule (despite the usual craziness of weddings).

I wholeheartedly recommend Sabrina and her team for your wedding (or any event!) -- you will love them :)

If I put my hair up and apply mascara then people ask me why I am so fancy, so finding a hair and makeup vendor was one of my biggest struggles! My friend recommended Sabrina to me after I remarked on how beautiful she looked at her wedding, and I knew I didn't need to look anywhere else!

I had been keeping my hair long to give lots of options, but wanted something a little different than a bun. I was so blown away with how she was able to transform my long, thick hair into a sleek faux bob that highlighted the natural wave around my face. Everyone was worried that I had cut my hair and was shocked when I took it down for dancing -- the soft curls were perfect for dancing outside under a canopy of lights!

The makeup was so perfect and light so you could still see my freckles. I trusted Sabrina's judgment on how to fill in my eyebrows and now I wish I could look like that all the time! The moment I went to Sabrina's website and saw her work I knew I wanted her to do my hair and makeup for my wedding! Her work speaks for itself, but when I went to meet with her to do a trial run I was ecstatic! Working with Sabrina was as easy as 1,2,3! i knew I wanted her to be my makeup artist after visiting her website and reading her other reviews. You gotta check out her website....she has such a modern and fresh take on makeup, she makes people glow! Lianne, her assistant, was a sweetheart and she did our mothers' makeup. They both looked great! I did not have a chance to do a trial before my wedding day, but I gave Sabrina carte blanche to do whatever she thought was best for me and she delivered: she did an amazing job on my hair and makeup. Everyone kept complimenting my makeup the whole day. Even though we got rained on, my makeup stayed intact! She was very responsive from day 1, always answering my questions quickly. She made me feel comfortable from just from our email interaction. I am so glad I booked her and wish I could bring her back with me to Miami! I am SO GLAD I found Sabrina, thanks to these Yelp reviews.

Sabrina did a PHENOMENAL job on my makeup & hair for my wedding day. She is truly a professional makeup artist, and understands what you want. She truly listened to me and helped me achieve the look I wanted (and I think I was pretty particular). My airbrush makeup stayed on ALL DAY and night during the wedding (including dancing), and looked flawless until I went home. Amazing. Please note I also had human hair extensions, which she is a pro at styling.

A little info for reference: I'm Asian and have a hard time finding makeup artists who understand how to make eye makeup look beautiful. Sabrina had no problem getting the look I wanted. Also she mixes airbrush foundation colors so it matches your skin tone perfectly.

Most important: She is extremely calm/down to earth, not anxious, and so so sweet. A lot of brides don't think about this, but the personality of the vendors you work with is so so important.

Brides - Don't hesitate to book Sabrina for your wedding, and book early!! If I have an event in the future I need professional makeup for, I am definitely calling her.

I found Sabrina Gilbert via wedding wire for my wedding, which I arranged 90% online and via email from the UK, finding a good hair and make up artist was my biggest challenge as I wasn't able to have my trial until the day before the wedding. I emailed a whole bunch of artists and as soon as I got Sabrina's reply I knew she was the one I wanted to use, unlike most of the other 'standard' replies, sabrina was personal, friendly and professional. She made me feel at ease when I expressed my concern over having the trial the day before and worked with me on my timings for both days. That's just Sabrina on email... By the time she left the day before my wedding I wanted her to come back to the UK with me, she made my hair and make up look better than I ever thought it could, and even better it stayed beautifully in place all day! I had so many comments on how beautiful I looked and I felt a million dollars. This was only confirmed further when she returned the next day to do my wedding hair and make up, along with hair for my bridesmaids and mother, she worked all morning and made us look amazing! Walking down the aisle to my fiancé repeating 'wow' with tears in his eyes was the best moment of my life and that wouldn't have been the same without Sabrina's amazing skills. If you want an amazing hair or make up artist (do both!!) who is a genuinely lovely person aswell then Sabrina is your gal!

I do not wear much makeup, so I liked that she tried a couple of different options to help me decide on the "look" I preferred for my Wedding day. Sabrina's talent and professionalism are second to none. It is difficult to find an artist whose professionalism matches their skill level. I hired her for my Destination wedding on Martha's Vineyard and the entire transaction was seamless. First off, I was very impressed with her website; the design and music show just how stylish she is! There are also videos on her website so you can see her and her amazing work in action! My bridesmaid who has also worked as a makeup artist was very impressed with Sabrina. We both agreed that each client on her website looked natural, happy, and smiled big to show off her work! My bridesmaid also pointed out that Sabrina played up each clients best and had a different technique for each person, she doesn't have a "cookie cutter" approach, she's a true makeup artist. At my first trial, Sabrina welcomed us into her space which was all set up with a window for natural lighting. I brought pictures via Pinterest and explained that I wanted to look like a more glamorous version of myself. My maid of honor attended the trial with me and as Sabrina was working she kept say "ooh, ahh, that looks amazing!" Sabrina did my makeup how I wanted but even better, and my hair was exactly like the picture! I got the whole works at the trial including airbrush makeup, eyelashes, and hair extensions! For the day of my wedding Sabrina had a timeline all figured out of when everyone was getting hair and makeup done. She figures about 45 mins for each service. All 4 of my bridesmaids and my mom were VERY happy with how they looked! My friend may even use Sabrina for her own wedding in the near future! I was more than happy with the way I looked; I felt beautiful,confident,amazing, fantastic, glamorous, and like all eyes SHOULD be on me! Sabrina made me FEEL beautiful and look even better than I thought I would as a bride! Sabrina made me look and feel the best ever on my wedding day. My trust and confidence in Sabrina was established right from her website and even more when meeting her, and she proves how talented she is through her work. Worked with Sabrina for my wedding hair and makeup. She was amazing!
She is very professional and well seasoned in what she does.
I was very specific with what I wanted my hair to look like and she took what I had in my imagination and brought it to life. She's a very lovely person and listens to what you want. All of my bridesmaids looked beautiful as well. The make up was nice and light. Not caked on like some places do.

Sabrina did my hair and makeup for a wedding I was in this past August, and she did it fabulously! I was a bridesmaid coming in town to NYC from Washington, DC, and I was nervous about finding a good stylist to give me some glam! I was especially concerned with my hair being African American and unable to do a test run prior to the big day. After interviewing several vendors without success for a hair and makeup artist who had significant experience with all rages of skin tones (I'm Afro-Caribbean), I came across Sabrina's webpage. I was struck by the natural elegance of the pictured brides of all skin tones, with makeup that accentuated their best features but wasn't overwhelmingly applied nor garish. I totally recommend Sabrina for bridal hair and make-up. Besides being ontime, respective of the day of schedule and lovely to spend time with, Sabrina had done a perfect job on my hair and make up. I brought a headpiece from Brazil that was not easy to fit into my hair. Sabrina managed to fit it perfectly. During the ceremony one of the photographers tripped on my veil and if my headpiece wasnt so perfectly placed into my hair it would all have fallen apart, but thanks to Sabrina that did not happen. Sabrina was extremely patient and did not settle until I was happy with my hair and make up. I strongly recommend her services.

Sabrina did an amazing job on hair and makeup for my wedding. She and her assistant did hair and makeup for me, four bridesmaids, my mom, and my husband's mother. Everyone looked amazing, and our guests were very complimentary of her work. If I had to offer one bit of slightly negative feedback, it would be that her assistant was a bit slow and was a little behind schedule doing makeup for the bridesmaids and mothers. That being said, her assistant did an impeccable job and everyone looked great.

Also, I should mention that I did two trials with Sabrina before my wedding, and I felt that from my first email to her, to the two trials, to the day of my wedding, she was extremely professional and patient. I highly recommend her.

Sabrina did my hair and make-up for 3 straight days for my wedding in Mexico. Sabrina is completely incredible. She is always punctual, she is sweet and smart and great to talk to, but perhaps most importantly, she is a totally brilliant artist who never fails to transform you into the most beautiful version of yourself. She did a different look each day, and they were all creative. I always felt beautiful and confident, and I got tons of compliments. She used airbrush makeup and all of her products were great quality. She also did the makeup for many of my bridesmaids, and they all looked amazing. I feel so lucky that I found Sabrina. When I think back on my wedding, choosing her was one of the best decisions I made. I can't recommend her strongly enough.

I was a resident of Virginia, but getting married in my hometown of New York (March 2013). And I was struggling trying to find all of my NYC vendors while living out of town. You can imagine looking for someone to do my hair and makeup was a chore in and of itself! I, like all brides I was looking for perfection (or something close to it). I found Sabrina on yelp, then took it a step further and put her in all other search engines. After reading all reviews, then actually seeing her picture, I made my decision. We set up a trial for a weekend when I was home for other vendor appointments. I brought a picture with me, and she started to make magic happen. We went over color choices for lips and eyes. We talked about the hair accessories I'd be using. I showed her pictures of all 6 of my bridesmaids, and by the end of our appointment we had a set plan of action!

Sabrina and her assistant started working on myself and my 6 bridesmaids at 9:15AM. Together they finished 7 hairstyles and 7 faces (with airbrushed makeup) by 3:15PM. We were ready for pictures by 4PM! The girls were gorgeous. The hairstyles were modern and the faces were fresh and radiant! And Sabrina NAILED my look! I couldn't have been happier or more satisfied.

All I've gotten were compliments about how good my "team" looked! Everyone says the hairstyles were hot and the faces were flawless! I have to admit, Sabrina did have a pretty easy palate to work with! :) Really though, everything came out perfect. I'm very happy I selected her to share her talent and skills to contribute to a perfect affair.

I used Sabrina for both my wedding hair and make up and the hair and make up for a party we had the night before the wedding. She was absolutely amazing! I don't wear a lot of make up and had a lot of concerns about not looking like a drag queen or not looking like myself and she was sensitive to all my concerns. I hired sabrina to do hair and makeup for myself and 5 other ladies on my wedding day. All of us were very happy with the services we received. The makeup held up great and looked flawless even at the end of a 90degree/humid day. I still get comments over a year after my wedding about how great my hair and makeup looked. I also found that sabrina worked quickly and efficiently, and had everyone ready on time. Her prices were very reasonable as well. I highly recommend her services over all and tell all my friends getting married to not hesitate to hire her!

I live in Australia and arranged my NY wedding over the web. I was lucky enough to find Sabrina via a google search.

Right from the word go, she was just fantastic and everything was easy. Obviously planning something only via email makes you nervous that something will go wrong but Sabrina put all nerves to rest.

I had a makeup and hair trial done as well as have her do my wedding day and she was immediately able to capture what I wanted first go. Her work was amazing and I even learned a few tips from her which I'm now using in my day to day. She is such a talented hair and make-up artist. I have no hesitation in recommending Sabrina and if I lived in NY she would be on speed dial for all my special occassions.

Sabrina was awesome. She was very helpful and detailed in my initial trial. She listened to my ideas and made them come true. She was very efficient on the actual wedding day - I had 8 people who had to get their hair and makeup done. She worked with precision and her expertise showed in the work she did on my bridal party. Her prices are very reasonable and I would definitely use her again!

Sabrina did my makeup for my wedding and has since done both my hair and makeup for numerous other events. She is amazing, she listens to what you want and does an excellent job. It's also very convenient that she is able to come to you. I highly recommend her!

I originally discovered Sabrina through "Face the Day NY" and hired her to do my wedding day hair and makeup; I couldn't be happier with my choice!

Sabrina showed-up on time to my hotel and immediately rolled out the best beauty products. My eyes starting misting over as I saw products from all my favorite companies (MAC, Temptu, Smashbox, plus others) paraded before me. Sabrina definitely uses the best! I showed her pictures of the "look" I was going for and she got straight to work and recreated it perfectly in under two hours. A plus: Sabrina is fun and easy to talk to. She'll make your wedding-prep experience all the more fun!

Although Sabrina's rates are reasonable (meaning below the insane NYC standard), don't be afraid that you'll be sacrificing quality. You don't need to pay $800 for your dream wedding look. Hire Sabrina and she'll make you look like a princess!

Sabrina was extremely professional, responsive, and highly skilled. After about three hair and makeup trials with other stylists, I was very disappointed. Many stylists were trained either in hair or makeup and did not have the total package. However, after visiting Sabrina's studio, I was blown away by how meticulously she did both my hair and makeup. I looked and felt beautiful!

In the months leading up to the wedding, Sabrina was highly responsive via email, which was important to me, as I work during business hours. She was able to give me a run down of the day-of the wedding schedule months in advance. She was also able to make additions to the contract without hassle.

On the day of the wedding, Sabrina and her assistants were on time and prepared. Every girl in my bridal party had a different look, but all in all, I was surprised to see that each style fit perfectly with the dresses and the vintage look of the wedding.

I could not have been happier with my hair and makeup during the day of the wedding. I received so many compliments on how I looked. My makeup stayed put during the entirety of July wedding. Also, Sabrina does airbrush makeup, so it was waterproof, sweatproof, and lightweight.

Sabrina does great work! I found her last minute after my original makeup artist fell sick. Sabrina was thankfully available and accommodating. I am not a makeup person, so I’m not used to wearing it at all. Sabrina was able to try several looks before we found the right one for me, which was simple yet elegant. All my guests said my makeup was flawless and that I looked radiant! The makeup itself was light and it didn’t feel caked on, so I was happy with the results and how I felt all day! Sabrina also did my hair, which came out quite fabulous. Thanks again Sabrina!

Sabrina did an amazing job with my bridal hair and make-up on my wedding on July 11th, 2016. She also did hair and make up for my MOH. Her work played a huge role in making the day an absolute dream come true!! I had a fusion Indian-Russian wedding which required two completely different looks with less than 1 hour to change hair, make-up, and clothes between the two ceremonies. I rarely wear make-up and envisioned a look that was both glamorous and beautiful, but yet subtle, natural and still very much resembling myself. On top of that, I needed someone well-versed in both Indian make-up/hair/accessories and western style weddings. Sabrina was punctual, professional, flexible, polite, and, most importantly, extraordinarily talented. She successfully created my dream looks for both the Indian and American portions of my wedding in the allocated amount of time even though I never did a make up/hair trial with her. I came to her early in the morning for my first look and she came to my venue in the evening for the transition into the second. She arrived early and was very accommodating when the Indian wedding ceremony ran late, patiently waiting at the venue until I was ready. The make-up and hair stayed put for over 12 hours throughout the day despite heavy dancing and walking in the summer heat as well as multiple lengthy outdoor photo shoots throughout the day. I received countless compliments on both looks throughout the day and long after and felt more beautiful then I ever had in my entire life. I highly recommend Sabrina to anyone wanting to look elegant and beautiful on the most special day of their lives!

I had my vintage themed wedding @ Metropolitan building, LIC NY at the end of may 2013. Sabrina & her team really rocked out that day! Despite the hot and humid weather, they worked hard to make every single lady in my entourage look their best. My guest were so impressed at how we all transformed! Sabrina was absolutely amazing! She did a phenomenal job on the hair and make up services for myself, two mothers and three bridesmaids. She was on time, well prepared and the final looks were stunning. I was quite impressed with her flexibility and patience. My photographers ended up being quite intrusive for the "getting ready" shots but Sabrina was an absolute doll the entire time. Thank you for such a great morning!

I did extensive research on hair and make up artists, and I ended up choosing Sabrina based on her before/after portfolio. Everyone’s transformations from bare-faced naturals to full-blown beauties were astonishing. I wanted to be a Hollywood version of myself and I knew Sabrina would definitely be able to do that for me – and she did.

Sabrina was great at achieving a fine balance of a natural look with glam/contouring/fake lashes. At the first trial, I felt like my contouring and eyelashes were too intense. She was open to all feedback, so patient with me when I wanted to do a few more hair/make up trials, and she was so generous with her time. The make up she did on the day of my wedding lasted all day, and didn’t feel caked on or uncomfortable. I do have really oily skin and it was a hot day, so I did have to keep a pile of oil blotters on hand at all times – I don’t think anything could’ve stopped me from getting a little dewy (good thing the “dewy” look is in right now).

Many hair/make up artists also charge $ per mile when you travel outside of NYC, on top of a night’s stay at a hotel but Sabrina was very fair and reasonable – which was another reason why I chose her.
