I met Ryan through a co-worker (who happens to also be his wife). From the get-go he was extremely professional and courteous to all of our concerns. Ryan has both a fun and professional way of working, and really makes you feel at ease in front of the camera. My husband and I are both incredibly awkward in front of cameras and Ryan helped not only make us feel comfortable but even allow us to forget it was there.
Ryan has a beautiful, artistic eye that leaves you with pictures that are both funky/fun and traditional/classic. I can't see a way in which you would be unsatisfied with the process or end product when you work with Ryan!

Ryan is amazing. He took our engagement photos back in December. Instead of a standard session, we asked him to come to our holiday party and take pictures of our small pastafarian wedding. We found the perfect guy to roll with the punches - so nice, so friendly, so passionate about his work, so fun to work with, and so talented! The party photos were excellent. He even put together a slide show on his blog for us that we were able to share with everyone. I can't believe how much time he must have spent doing all that for us, and that was just for our engagement session. He just did our much larger non-pastafarian wedding and I can't wait for the pictures - I know the quality of his work is just amazing. But the best part is that you get this quality while working with a fantastic personality. He was completely unobtrusive, but also engaging. All our guests LOVED him. And we loved him. He was always ready to do what we asked, when we asked, in a way that was more than professional - it really felt like an old friend was there to be our photographer. A really talented old friend.

Ryan Trupp took our engagement photos. The only reason that we didn't hire him to photograph our wedding was that he was in the bridal party! Ryan is an excellent photographer and really cares about the quality of service and excellent photographs that he provides to his clients. He works in a photojournalistic style and customizes the locations and styles to the personality of his clients. He is a trained artist and a consummate professional. I highly recommend him for many reasons. Our pictures were absolutely stunning and he gave us a range of backgrounds and poses.
