Extremely professional & works to fulfill every want or need you have

Joe & Ryan did such an amazing job for our wedding! We live out of state, but Joe was always reachable & made sure to answer any and every question we had. We sat down in person when we came up for our bridal shower, and the attention to detail with the song choices and making sure it was the right version was out of this world.

Our entire day was filled with the best music & there were so many people out on the dance floor. They do such an amazing job not only being DJs but also MCs.

If you don't know who to choose, let this be your sign to pick them. They are an absolute staple to any kind of event

Joe was amazing! We had the pleasure of having Joe as our DJ at our wedding. After meeting Joe for the first time my wife and I knew that he was going to be our DJ. he was charismatic, professional, knowledgeable, the whole nine yards. The entire process was easy with them. Highly recommend!

Russell Sound Lab MADE the wedding so amazing!!

My husband and I got married on 2/18/23. Let me tell you. I still have people messaging me about how awesome the music was. How so much of the music were versions of newer songs they’ve never heard done that way before. How breathtaking the first dance with the fog was. How beautiful his booth was. The crystal clear sound. The list goes on!!! He is one of the best DJs there is and we were so happy to have him a part of our big day. Highly recommend. Everything is totally worth it. He timed me walking down the aisle to Metallica perfectly, the first kiss. Everything was perfect and right on point. Everyone enjoyed dancing all night including the kids who stole the show with their awesome requests that I let them do! And before I forget. The photo booth…. WAS A HIT! Everyone enjoyed it and we have a huge book of photo strips to prove it! Again, highly recommend. Book him! You won’t regret it.

Joe was the absolute best!!! He was so easy to work with. He gave great suggestions and ideas. The uplighting was also perfect for our reception. Joe is so smooth with transitions from one thing to the next during the reception. I highly recommend Russell sound lab!

Best night ever!

Our guests are still talking about how much fun they had at our reception! No one wanted the celebration to end, including us! I’d relive this night a million times! Our dance floor was filled with so much love and energy, and we have the funniest photo book from our photo booth ever! I would highly recommend Russell Sound Lab for any event!

Joe was our DJ for our wedding in December. He was so much fun and totally helped make the day. We had a ball with him playing the shoe game. He was easy to work with and very responsive to emails and texts! Best choice ever!

Best DJ in Northeast Ohio

We booked Russell Sound Labs for our DJ for our wedding and it was the best decision ever. Not only are they great for their price they really put on a show! The entire team was absolutely amazing, and made our wedding day go so smoothly. The DJ's played the best music, and there was never a moment there wasn't someone out on the dance floor. Highly recommend to any upcoming bride or grooms to be.

Russell Sound Lab is the way to go!

Russell Sound Lab was the DJ service we chose for our wedding this past June, and they did such an amazing job! Joe did a great job of all of the prep work before hand and provided us with a lot of valuable guidance as far as the timeline, the song list, and the lighting for our reception. He spent a lot of time with us planning the details of our day and how the night was going to go. Some thing I loved particularly about Russell Sound Lab is that they are very upfront with their pricing and packages. We also had them do up lighting for our reception and it looked amazing. It completely set the mood for the night and changed the tone of our reception in the most wonderful way. Bruce was our DJ in charge of the music for the night and he did a fantastic job. He was a great MC with an awesome personality, was very accommodating to requests (we specified that we wanted to take requests), and modified the music anytime I asked. Our dance floor was packed all the way up until midnight and we had a wedding reception for the books. You can’t go wrong with this company!

The Best in the Business!

Russell Sound Lab Inc is the best in the business! Joe Russell has now DJed my wedding and my sister's wedding and he continues to deliver. We had a backyard wedding and Joe and his Son went above and beyond in delivering an outstanding party. Joe worked around many difficult challenges involving getting the equipment brought back to the yard, a challenging set up environment and dealing with the weather. During the entire process, Joe listened to our wants/needs and clearly took detailed notes because everything we requested from lighting to song choices were fulfilled 100%. His wedding planning documents were perfect for keeping up aligned and Joe was available at a moment's notice to make edits/changes. Joe and his Son got there early, made sure everything worked and every roadblock that was presented itself was expertly dealt with and succeeded. Joe has a great stage presence and knows how to read the room. Our wedding was thrown off schedule a bit during the dinner but with constant communication with Joe and our planner, it all appeared seamless. We utilized the uplighting and cold spark shower that Joe offers and I would highly recommend adding them to your wedding. We cannot thank Joe enough for providing the wedding reception of our dreams. Even our music snob friends loved the playlist! Joe and his Son are some of the hardest working people in the industry and booking Russell Sound Lab is a must for your next event!

Joe is awesome!

Russell Sound Lab is your go to for wedding DJs! He is professional and has great sound equipment to make your wedding day everything you need. His display always looks great and has plenty of props and awesome lighting enhancements to go along with it. I've known Joe for years, he really does give you the whole DJ experience with great music and an amazing DJ voice! You cant go wrong with picking him! You will not be disappointed.

Will use again in the future. Got so many compliments on the sparkler fireworks and the music. The line dances No one knew the DJ came out and showed people. They really got involved with the crowd and everybody had a great time I got so many compliments on how good the DJ was. I had people tell me I should get married more often and they had so much fun.

The best Dj service!

Russell Sound Labs is amazing!! If you want a DJ that will keep you organized and on time the night of your wedding pick them! They did such an amazing job getting our guests out dancing and picked all the right songs!! Also, Joe responded quickly to all my questions and emails, which was a huge thing for us!!

We loved Russell Sound Lab!

Using Russell Sound Lab for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made and I could not be happier with the service we received. Joe is all around a wonderful guy. He was professional, organized, and easy to work with. I had so many issues with my wedding venue and other wedding vendors I used and it was a relief to work with Joe who was so confident and dependable. He was knowledgable about our venue and how it operated which allowed him to make valuable suggestions on other vendors we could use and how to make the space look it's best. Joe and his team were absolutely amazing and helped our wedding run smoothly and efficiently. The dance floor was packed the entire night and the music selection was amazing. He took into account our personal suggestions and song requests while also playing a good range of music for everyone. My husband and I were very impressed by some of the extra touches they added, including a personalized CD at the end of the night with all of our wedding songs.

My husband and I cannot recommend Russell Sound Lab enough!

Absolutely amazing.

I highly recommend Russel Sound Lab. Joe is such an amazing and personable guy and went above and beyond to make our special day exactly what we wanted. Our reception timeline was extremely organized and went off without a hitch all thanks to them!!! We additionally had them do our up lighting, “dancing on the clouds”, and photo booth. I seriously couldn’t suggest anyone better. If you need a DJ for anything...CHOOSE THEM!

Saved My Wedding!

Let me just say - what a crazy DJ adventure I went on while planning my wedding. In a lot of ways I believe that Joe at Russell Sound Lab saved my wedding day. I had booked another DJ over a year in advance who seemingly started scamming people and not showing up for weddings. With only a few months left before my wedding I reached out to Joe and explained my situation. He was so incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. He was able to provide everything I wanted and more. I was also very nervous because neither of our families are dancers but Joe’s team was able to get people out on the floor that I never expected to see there. They set the tone for the entire evening and it was absolutely wonderful! You could not ask for a better team who goes out of their way to make sure your night is everything you dreamed of. Russell Sound Labs was incredible! Could not say enough great things about them. Joe and his crew had everything well organized, played all of the songs we requested in advance, took requests from our guests during the reception itself, and did an excellent job of playing music to reach all types of guests. A DJ is one of the most important parts of your wedding night and my wife and I would recommend Russell Sound Labs over and over again!!!

I just wanted to give a huge thank you to Russell Sound Lab. They made our wedding day truly amazing. We met with Joe Russell a couple times before the wedding to ensure the day would go smoothly and it for sure did ! They let me submit a list of songs that I wanted to be included throughout the night but also used their own and let me tell you..... they did not disappoint. We had people of all ages at our wedding and there was not a single person sitting in their seats! Everyone was on the dance floor and enjoying themselves so much that we paid for them to stay an extra hour !! They were on top of making sure that we kept everything on time. They were super helpful with suggestions and advice ! I was so nervous and they put my mind at ease! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them for any event, especially a wedding ! The dj was a very important part to our day and they exceeded our expectations. Very professional, easy to work with and they got the crowd going!!

No regrets whatsoever! Joe is so easy to work with and handled all of my last minute changes with ease and answered all of my questions. Our DJ ended up being Mike and he was great too! He kept us in the loop all night, made sure we stayed on track time wise, and played pretty much every song we requested while also playing songs our guests requested. Everything went smoothly and I was so happy with how the night went! We also had him play our ceremony music which was also perfect. We had uplifting for the reception too which really added to the atmosphere. Book them and you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again guys!

We used Russell Sound Lab Wedding DJS for our wedding and the crew was FANTASTIC! Joe is the best in the business and knows how to ensure you and your wedding guests are having a great time from start to finish. Very professional and made sure to take his time with us so that he captured all the details we were wanting. We selected the entire package offered for our wedding entertainment (DJ, up-lighting, videographer, monogram lighting, photobooth) and have absolutely no regrets and SO happy with how everything turned out! Joe Russell and his team did such an amazing job at our wedding and reception - I can't even give them enough stars and compliments!!
Joe was so easy to work with! His professionalism and experience were so evident throughout the whole evening!
My husband and I were clueless about what to ask for and expect when it comes to DJ's and their services. Joe held our hand the whole way explaining options, etc. He listened to our requests and put together a killer playlist. He cared about the subtle details and showed that he wanted to make our experience unique.
He also provided our ceremony and dinner music so the details and timing were very important and I was amazed at how it all came together so well. I had so many compliments from guests and the dance floor was busy all night long. SO much fun!!!!!
He is the best of the best in my book and should the need ever arise - I would hire him again!

Thank you so much for making our reception the best party we have ever been to! We had so many compliments afterwards about how great the venue looked and how much fun everyone had dancing. I was on the fence about the uplighting, but I'm so glad we had it - it made the Onesto even more beautiful! Joe was great and even took the time to sit with me and go over my very detailed playlist, and even downloaded some of the more obscure songs I was requesting. We had Russell Sound Lab DJ our wedding this past June and it was perfect! Everything went perfect with the agenda, we had a to push a few things back a little bit, and they were more than accomodating. The music was perfect. They played everything we wanted and we were all dancing the entire time. I would highly reccomend them for any event and I know I will use them in the future!

DJ Joe and Russell Sound Lab did an amazing job at my wedding on 7/21/18. Throughout the process everything was so easy! I met with Joe twice to discuss what I was looking for and then to decide on our song list for the ceremony and some for the reception. When I wasn't sure, Joe helped my husband and I come up with something that worked for us. When I wanted a specific version of a song, he found it. The ceremony music was beautiful and the reception music was awesome! People were on the dance floor all night and I got tons of comments from guests saying how great the music was. And it never stopped! He just played all night and went way beyond our expectations. We also got the videography and they were all over the place getting every part of the ceremony and reception. Can't wait to see it! Really thrilled with how everything went! thank you!!

Joe was everything we could have hoped for for our wedding reception. Before, during, and after. His uplighting saved us a ton of money on regular bland decorations that would have to be put up and taken down after it all. Thank you for making ours a night to remember. Wow, I could not be more happy with the service I received from Russell Sound Lab! I am seriously so happy I went with this DJ. His prices were very reasonable, everyone was so pleasant to work with, and the night went smoother than it ever could have thanks to them! I also chose to do the uplighting and it was so well worth, the also very reasonable price. You truly don't realize how beautiful a venue can look until you get those. I also chose to get the videography package as well and was very pleased that I did end up getting that. They were so organized, professional, and kind. I can't tell enough people about them! If you need a DJ they are they are the people to go with!!

We loved having this DJ!! Joe really kept the party going, made sure the night was running smoothly and efficiently, and most importantly made sure everyone was having fun. We had a great experience with Russell Sound Lab from the very beginning. Joe fit us in for our first meeting on very short notice and was so helpful with all of the details. We had DJ Bruce and he was wonderful. Our ceremony was on a small island with our reception elsewhere. He ensured everything was set up and perfect even tho I know the logistics were probably a little crazy. He played all of the songs on our list and added in some awesome songs that we didn't even think of but kept people on the dance floor. He also took requests from our friends and family and ensured everyone was happy and everything went smooth. Joe emailed everyone on my wedding team to make sure all were on the same page. Music is such an important and meaningful part of my life so I was so happy to have such a wonderful experience. I could not have asked for more. Highly recommend!!

I wanted you to be aware of how thrilled I was with your services at my daughter's wedding. DJ Mike was Awesome!!!! He was organized and thorough. He double checked our Russell Sound Lab wedding agenda that you and I planned. Mike checked with the bridal party on their names and we quickly went over the evenings events. Mike was great and kept the crowd engaged and notified on what was happening and when. He took the worry and pressure from me to keep the reception flowing and I felt confident in him. The Music Selection was perfect. I can honestly say I have NEVER been to a Wedding Reception where the Dance Floor was constantly full. We actually had to tell people to leave when the reception was over at 11pm. because no one wanted to stop dancing.
The up lighting provided by you at the Hall was absolutely beautiful and added to the elegance of the Reception as well as the Dance Floor Setting. I have received numerous compliments from several friends and family members who attended the reception. They went on and on about how fun and what a huge success the reception was. I attribute that to you and Mike for doing an outstanding job. Music, reception flow, and fun is what makes a reception successful and that is exactly what you provided for me and my daughter's Wedding.

Words cannot express enough how wonderful this company is. Joe Russel helped us out tremendously with making sure we had everything we wanted for our wedding. The process of planning with him went by so smoothly something every bride to be needs during the crazy planning of a wedding. The first time we sat down with Joe I instantly knew this was the company i wanted to provide one of the most important things for our wedding. He listened to everything that we wanted and made it happen. We had the pleasure of having DJ Mike for the evening. He was absolutely wonderful. He kept the party going all night long. Our dance floor was never empty. Before any major event was going to take place during our ceremony Mike always talked to us first. To make sure it went the way we wanted. Mike interacted with the crowd. We had a variety of different ages at our reception and he knew exactly what to play to satisfy everyone. Russell Sound Lab was absolutely wonderful to work with! They were extremely accommodating to all of my requests and played exactly what all of my guests loved. Without any sort of guidance our DJ, Mike, played songs that I had never even thought of that were perfect. Our dance floor was packed all night! Even my dad was out there and he NEVER dances!! Joe Russell really made my wedding amazing. I had been to two previous wedding that he was the DJ at and I knew he is who I wanted for my wedding.

Prior to the wedding we sat down and selected the music I wanted to play throughout my day. He was great at giving me suggestions of what songs to play when. He also worked with me to make a timeline of events. He offered his opinion, but was very flexible and listened to my thoughts as well. Once we finalized the reception schedule of events he emailed it to my venu, staff doing the catering, my photographer, and videographer. My day would not have been organized if it wasn't for him. He made sure all the staff worked together, and was on the same time frame. He was very approachable on my wedding day to answer any question I had.

Lastly and most important he choose great music to get my guest up and dancing. He could read the crowds reaction to songs and know the best song to play next. I would highly recommend him for your wedding!

Our wedding reception experience could not have been any more perfect! These guys were on the ball. They stayed on schedule, played all the songs we wanted as well as an amazing playlist. The uplighting on the walls set the mood and made our other decorations pop. Everyone has an amazing time on the dance floor! The photo booth was awesome as they had tons of props and the print outs were post card sized as opposed to the small strip which was very cool. They kept an album for us and guests could put their extra photo booth picture in it and sign it. We will forever be thankful for Joe and his amazing staff. Our wedding was nothing short of perfect ?

Hands down, THE BEST DJ!!! We had approximately 200 guests total, and there were never less than 50 on the dance floor at any point in time. DJ Joe was very easy to work with and did a great job understanding the flow of our wedding and what songs we did/didn't want to have played. We had some very difficult names to pronounce and Joe nailed every single one of them. He delivered exactly what we wanted and the guests LOVED him. Russell Sound Lab was amazing! We adore our DJ. We had such a pleasant experience with our DJ. They were so flexible with planning appointments and were always quick to respond to questions. We had a very traditional reception, but we threw in an awesome entrance for my dad before the daddy daughter dance that included the "Stone Cold Steve Austin" theme song (it turned out so awesome) and Russell's pulled everything off without a hitch. They were very reasonably priced. They even gave us a cd after the reception that included all of our reception music on it, so it was so great to relive those moments.

Russell Sound Labs Inc. is actually a company I had some previous experience with before our wedding. I worked with one of the Dj's for a period of time and they would host Friday nights at the Canton Quaker Steak and Lube as well.

I specially requested Mike. I knew him personally and had seen him first hand in action. He has a very attractive voice for the ear. He also has dancing skills if you need him to get the crowd going which you DONT find with alot of lame dorky Dj's that are over aged out there. He knew how to get people involved and pumped up. He was very receptive to our requests and feedback. He was able to vibe off the crowd ( our was wild and the dance floor was slammed). He is a great guy on apersonal and professional level.

Multiple guests commented on how great our DJ was. We have been to pletny of weddings and know firsthand how a DJ can make or break a wedding. Trust me...you want Mike. Be sure to request him!

The owner, Joe, was very helpful in recommedning music and finding songs we wanted evene if he didnt have them in his database. We had a very hard song to find for our first dance. He managed it!

No cheesy out of toush Dj's here...go with Russell sound Labs Inc! They have a website and you can find them in Canton, Ohio. They will Drive to Cleveland and they are VERY affordable compared to many ofther DJ services. LIke HALF the price but double the talent!

Excellent DJ service, just a bit disappointed in our particular DJ's choice of music for our group. We eventually had to ask him to switch the genre to Top 40 because people weren't dancing that much and he wasn't reading the audience well.... after that, no problems! So professional!

They have several different djs in the business and the dj we had did not have our ceremony music ready in time, so we did start a little late and skipped a couple songs. But, during the reception he got out on the dance floor and danced with everyone once, which was really cool. Everything else went smoothly the rest of the night.

Joe (the owner) was fantastic to work with. However, I gave Joe a detailed list of songs that I wanted played (and not played) and the DJ that showed up did not follow that list. He played many songs (mostly line dances and slow songs) that I did not approve during my meeting with Joe. The DJ had to be told many times to "stick to the list". When I emailed them asking for the song list from that evening, I received an email stating that it would be sent but I have never received it. On a good note, the lighting was great!
