Best staff
The staff there was amazing considering that we were married during a pandemic and had to reschedule our date twice they were extremely accommodating! They did a wonderful job setting up, and I would definitely recommend this place! Our wedding was beautiful and perfect -

Amazing vintage feel
this place is amazing!!! it has a vintage vibe that suits me fine, there's plenty of room and parking space for your guests. the staff has been great and very helpful and they are very reasonable for what you're getting. the bride's room is small and intimate but so personable. I love this place!!!!

Roy was amazing and so helpful. He worked with us to make our day so special and helped us create a look that was 100% us. They were flexible with our timing that we needed to use the chapel and allowed us to have the indoor location on hold incase of bad weather. The outside space was beautiful for our ceremony and the gardens are very well kept. They were very friendly and we didn't feel judged being that we are a same sex couple. They were accepting and greeted us with open arms -

Rose Chapel was a wonderful venue with excellent service. They answered every email, and helped make sure everything went smoothly. The venue is well kept, and the have tons of useful stuff on hand. Rose Chapel was a great venue to have a beautiful wedding. The staff was awesome and professional. We really loved Minett, she was there to see the wedding a success and did a great job! Roy was also an awesome part of our day and everyone loved his personality. -

LOVE THIS PLACE!! Everyone was so helpful sweet and nice. Wonderful place for any type of wedding.

I could not have asked for a better place to have our wedding and reception. The place is beautiful. The staff was just wonderful and they were all so helpful in making sure the wedding was perfect. Anyone would be happy getting married at The Rose Chapel. -

My husband and I chose The Rose Chapel as our wedding ceremony and reception venue, and we are so thankful that we did. The Rose Chapel exceeded our exceptions from the moment we walked through the door. The venue is beautiful! The chapel is cozy and inviting, with stunning stained glass windows and a high ceiling supported by thick, wooden beams. The reception ballroom is conveniently located adjacent to the chapel, and is the perfect spot since there is a stage for a band/dj as well as a bar. The ballroom looks enchanting at night with some candles and the tree lights that come with it. There is a quaint flower garden that will look amazing in wedding photos, especially if your wedding date is when the flowers are in bloom!
The Rose Chapel provided unparalleled service. We booked over a year out and frequently called/emailed throughout that time period with many questions. The Rose Chapel staff was always friendly and helpful and offered great suggestions. They were very flexible, easy-going and accommodating. Since The Rose Chapel venue includes two day of coordinators, our special day went very smoothly and we were able to enjoy the day instead of being stressed! The day of coordinators directed vendors to their areas, made sure everything was set up and ready, and communicated with us when necessary.
We hired The Rose Chapel servers to cater our reception since it was more affordable than hiring the caterer's service team, and we were thrilled with the service they provided. They worked hard and were very professional.
Since The Rose Chapel does not require specific vendors, we were able to hire who we wanted, which we felt was advantageous. This allowed us to compare multiple vendors and select the one we felt provided the best quality and price.

Joni Morris and the staff of Rose Chapel are absolutely the best! We had our dtr's wedding and reception with 150 guests and they handled everything like true professionals. I would Absolutely recommend this location for any special event. I found Mrs. Morris to be extremely friendly and an expert at calming nerves! Every recommendation she gave us worked out perfectly. A tremendous success and I will be forever grateful! -

The ladies that work this chapel are the nicest women ever. When you talk to them they are genuinely happy for you and definitely excited. The venue has so much character too.. I was looking for a venue that wasn't just a big room with blank walls and the Rose Chapel was a PERFECT find! Love it Love it. BOOK THEM. -

We had an absolutely AMAZING experience with the Rose Chapel. There were a couple of things that we had left behind on the day of, and they were so kind in helping out. They did more work for us than anticipated with set up and tear down. They were wonderfully flexible with our schedule, and were very specific and detailed in all of the consultations. Such sweet people! -

All of the ladies at the Rose Chapel were so helpful and friendly! This venue really made our wedding perfect, I LOVED the garden for our ceremony! The garden and the ballroom are so beautiful. They required we hire two waitstaff because we catered the wedding ourselves and I am so glad they have this rule! The waitstaff did a great job keeping the buffet clean and my popcorn bar full. I am so glad we didn't have to ask any of our family or friends to take care of any of that. Finding the Rose Chapel helped me achieve my dream wedding without blowing my budget! -

The Rose Chapel/Southside Preservation staff was incredibly amazing. My husband is in the military and was stuck overseas, in just a day the entire staff changed our wedding date last minute and even came in on their day off. Out of all of our vendors, I was the most pleased with this one and will be eternally grateful for how wonderful they are! -

The Rose Chapel is a beautiful venue and the service that is included with the price of the venue is amazing! They provided assistance with the ballroom and chapel setup, they provided a coordinator the day and night of the event along with a couple of other staff to assist with whatever you needed. Simone was usually my go to person by email and she always answered my questions within a day. We made a few changes the day of the wedding (moving the ceremony indoors versus out in the courtyard) and they didn’t miss a beat. We’ve never met so many people who were as excited as we were about the wedding. Their enthusiasm is contagious! Thank you, Jan for all your help on the day of. It was amazing being able to “relax” and not having to worry about all the little and big things. Highly recommended. Everyone kept telling us how beautiful the chapel was and the grounds. -

After searching venues in Tarrant county area, the Rose Chapel was by far the best venue. Besides being a beautiful place; it was also affordable and includes everything you need for your dream wedding. The Rose Chapel staff was professional, helpful and caring; Joni was the best wedding coordinator a bride could ask for. Our guests gave us many compliments about our choice of venue. I decided upon this venue initially based on the value and how sweet all the ladies were when I first toured this venue. They exceeded my expectations to the very end!!! I looked at a lot of places and I can honestly say this is the MOST beautiful place and the BEST value in the DFW area! The courtyard is breathtaking and the building reminds me of an old English cottage you would find in the countryside. The ladies were so sweet and willing to do whatever necessary to make my day perfect. I used their wait staff and my entire event ran perfectly. I also used a few recommended vendors from their list, and was blown away by their services as well!! -

We loved everything about this venue! The staff was enormously helpful, so friendly and excited for us. We got an incredible deal that was perfect for our budget and the staff went above and beyond what they had to do to make our day special. Our friends kept telling us over and over how beautiful it was, and our photographer and videographer got the most beautiful and unique shots from all different areas of the venue. Our entire family was thrilled with the experience we had holding our Mother's memorial service at the Hall. Simone Scott helped us plan the entire event. With five sisters to deal with, she was friendly, professional, caring, and very organized. Though our event was on a Sunday afternoon! and I know they had events the two nights prior - everything was ready on time, set up beautifully and just as planned.
The sound system, microphones, tables, linens, and the personnel there to help us - everything was wonderful. We had more people than we expected and extra chairs were quietly and efficiently added so all were comfortable. We were so happy with the service and got so many compliments on the event and the venue. We are so grateful for all the help we received and the beautiful service. Thank you, Simone and RoseLynn from all of the Arvin family. -

We could have chosen a better venue for our daughter,Christina's wedding. The weather didn't cooperate but the staff of the venue certainly did. The staff was absolutely super! We could not have been more pleased. The wedding was beautiful! The reception great! And all those who in attendance could not have been more complimentary of both the venue and staff. We had a beautiful wedding at Rose Chapel. We could not have asked for a better venue and group of people to work with. Everyone was extremely helpful and nice to work with. There was not one thing that went wrong at the rehearsal or the wedding. Lots of our guests were commenting how wonderful this venue is. It is a best kept secret, so lucky we happned to find this place. It was definately a storybook wedding! We got married in the rose garden outside under a grapevine veranda with 20 family members-it was BEAUTIFUL. Roses, irises and a variety of flowers were blooming all around us and are in the background of all of our wedding pictures. The staff was super helpful and very flexible as I even changed the time of day after we decided to do an evening wedding followed up by a reception at Ellerbee Fine Foods. We rented the outside courtyard for 1 1/2 hours and Rose chapel did not rush us out and allowed us extra time to take pictures which I really appreciate.
I also appreciated the fact that we could use the chapel inside if the weather was rainy so at least we had a backup plan for bad weather. Fortunately we were able to get married outside but it was peace of mind knowing we had another option.
We got dressed in the brides and grooms rooms provided which were very comfortable and are inside the chapel area.
Overall the experience was wonderful and I would highly recommend Rose Chapel for any venue! -

I cannot express how awesome this place is!!!! The staff is absolutely wonderful!!!!! They are amazing! I don't know how I would have made it through my wedding without Joni! She is one of the coordinators. I did not have a thing to worry about! I recommend them to the fullest!!!! My wedding was in February and I am still grateful for them this day! -

The Rose Chapel has a beautiful curb up appeal with its beautiful garden.
From the start Simmone and all the personnel of The Rose Chapel made my
wedding planning very easy. With their sound advise of years of experience
the results turned out to be a flawless wedding were groom and I (the bride)
were able to enjoy every moment of our special day without having to stress about last minute details. Simone and staff were available to assist me every step of the way. I highly recommend this venue and now that I can view the video of our wedding I realize that we all had the best party of our lives.
I had a total of 140 guest and rented the chapel, reception area, and ballroom. We had a live band and plenty of space to dance. I had the caterer set up in the reception area with a photo booth and 2 extra tables just in case. They worked with me to accomodate all my needs. -

All of the ladies were friendly, helpful and quick to respond to all of our requests the day of the wedding. The ease of having the wedding and reception in one location while still having a traditional church wedding was exactly what we were looking for. -

This venue is wonderful. I cannot say enough positive things about them. They had lightning speed responses to email which was important to me because I had a lot of questions. Every one there was incredibly sweet and kind and helpful. I think I worked with 6 ladies and they all knew what they were talking about and it felt like they really cared about my wedding. The place is gorgeous. Flowers everywhere and ivy running up the building. The ballroom is beautiful and, if you get their special package, they really set you up with some great extras like a lighted punch fountain and beautiful centerpieces that worked perfectly with our theme. They were so helpful on the day of and it really let me relax and enjoy my special day. They have everything you could need and more and the price was fantastic. They were the least expensive place I found but the best one. We looked at this place first and had appointments for the other two but we knew as soon as we left that that was the place. But, we kept our appointments just in case but we were right. They had everything and nowhere else came close. And I was reminded of their awesomeness every time I had to email them and change a time or ask a question. They're also very honest. We paid for use of their sound system but a couple of weeks before the wedding they let me know that our dj would have his own and they would refund us for what we weren't going to have to use. They could have just kept the money but they're good, honest, sweet people. I'd recommend this place to anyone, and already have. :) Take a trip down there and see what makes them so special. -

The Rose Chapel ballroom was the first reception venue my daughter and I looked at. In an effort to be thorough, we looked at many more. Don\'t know why we bothered, because we were enthralled by the charm and character of this vintage (ca. 1920) ballroom from the get-go. I think one reason we didn\'t commit sooner is that we erroneously thought we had to use both the ballroom and chapel. This is incorrect; you may rent rooms a la carte (there is a small reception hall also available). So many guests asked, \"where did you find this place?\" It is a little gem in an imperfect but blossoming neighborhood. Given that it was a January event, we got a price break and many extras which normally would garner additional fees. That didn\'t hurt! The only things we added were champagne, Tiffany blue rose petals for each table, table nos (we had a seating chart), seating charts, and favors. I took these things by the day before, and the staff placed each exactly as requested. The staff worked extremely well with our other vendors (Black-eyed Pea, Colleen\'s Cakes, DFW Mobile DJs, and Images by Rebekah). The afternoon reception had an evening feel as the shutters were closed when the dancing started and the disco ball got cranked up. The dj set up on stage (very visible and didn\'t take any floor space...note that most djs bring their own sound system so you shouldn\'t have to rent the ballroom speakers). Clean-up was a breeze, and the staff even helped with the things we needed to take with us. We got our deposit back within days. Please do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Amy or Simone. Also, know that the rental fee is not only paying the staff but also allowing for the continued upgrade and maintenance of this Southside Preservation Society structure. If you want to check it out \"in use,\" there is a monthly Friday night swing dance in the ballroom! -

The Rose Chapel was absolutely gorgeous... Everyone said "Where did you FIND this place, it is GREAT!". It felt so cozy and intimate, and historical. The wedding planners that are there to assist you in the process are WONDERFUL ladies. I cannot say enough for how great Amy was on the day of the wedding. She made sure that things ran smoothly. The place was beautiful, I would recommend it in a heart beat! -

We were initially attracted to the Rose Chapel for our wedding reception because they were the only venue in the area which could accommodate a guest list our size that would also allow us to bring in our own food and alcohol. Since we were sticking to a strict budget and had a large guest list, that was very important to us.
The only reason I didn't give them 5/5 for Flexibility is because they have a "No Kegs" rule. Other than that, they were truly VERY flexible and incredibly willing to work with us! They allowed us to move our "decorating time" to earlier in the wedding day so that my bridesmaids and I would be sure to have plenty of time to get ready before the ceremony. They worked with me to ensure that I would have the right table setup for all of my guests and they had all of the tables perfectly arranged on the morning of the wedding, making the decorating process on the morning of the wedding so easy. They contacted all of my wedding vendors and really eliminated me as the middle man when it came to day-of planning. Best of all, they quickly responded to every email I sent, which truly helped wedding planning stress to be lessened. They truly worked to ensure that we were happy and stress-free!
We had our ceremony at another venue and held our reception in the Grand Ballroom and the smaller Reception Salon. We used the Grand Ballroom for dinner and dancing and the smaller Reception Salon for the buffet, photobooth, and overflow tables. It couldn't have been a more perfect for the size of our wedding (about 180 guests).
It was beautiful and every staff member was so helpful - especially Joni and Simone! I am so happy with our choice to use the Rose Chapel. -

Rose Chapel is located in the Historic district of Fort Worth. It is beautiful venue.
From the very moment I entered the chapel, I knew this was the place I would marry my now husband.
I had read a couple of reviews on the professionalism of the staff, especially Joni, and everything is TRUE.
Joni is the BEST!!!! She made everything so easy. She is so kind and a real joy to be around.
I had a small wedding but in typical fashion the actual day was a little stressful (decorating).
The Rose Chapel staff helped my mom bring in the flowers and vases, assisted with set-up and take down.
I can't say it enough, "Rose Chapel is the BEST!"

Rose Chapel/Southside Preservation Hall was great! We have been going up there for years for the First Friday Dances and knew we wanted have our wedding there. Joni is, as my husband puts it, \"The best coordinator ever!\" The venue is beautiful and worked very well with our \"theme\" as well as budget and guest count. There is a great deal of character in the site and in the area around it. They do have limited office hours but still very responsive. Day of set up was great as they had a small army to set up site provided decor. -

This place is beautiful in the Spring!!! I was supposed to have my wedding outdoors but because of strong winds it had to be inside, but still was absolutely wonderful. The only think I can complain about are the hours, but only because I am used to working a graveyard shift, it seems really hard to get appointments for me between their 10-3 schedule. They are wonderful, professional to work with. Love this place! -

Gorgeous Venue
I absolutely adored the Chapel for my small wedding. It was a lovely venue with a great courtyard for photos. The staff was quick to reply and to work with me on an affordable price when I thought I'd be completely out of options. A few things were not fixed per our discussion before the ceremony but we did work a few snaffoos out with the staff on site at the time leading up to the ceremony. A small hiccup in the sound system made it complicated but they worked so diligently with my family and I that it was hardly a problem.-

The Rose Chapel is a beautiful location I love all the exposed beams. The staff were very friendly and willing to answer all questions. I emailed them often and someone always responded within a day. I wanted to have an outdoor wedding until I saw the chapel here, it was just too beautiful to pass up. I used the salon for my reception and I was worried with 60 people it would be too small, but it was great. Everyone said how beautiful the place was. I forgot my purse at the chapel the day of the wedding and they were supposed to lock the place up after we left, but I called and someone waited for me to come and get it. The whole day went perfectly thanks to the staff. The rehearsal was the same. If you want a wedding on a small budget without looking like you are on a budget use the Rose Chapel. -

After lots of searching Rose Chapel was exactly what we were looking for. The neighborhood is a little disasterous but once you get on the grounds it's lovely. We got tons of complements on this location. The Rose garden is beautiful and the staff is friendly and accommodating. They had a crew to help us setup the morning of and the on hand representatives went above and beyond when it came to the reception - cake cutting, punch making, they were great. I would recommend this to anyone on a budget. The reception hall is huge with plenty of room for guests and dancing (150 guests max) and had an optional sound system ($150) which we connected to our laptop for music. LOVED this place

The Rose Chapel staff was great to work with and very kind and responsive. Minette worked with us for our wedding reception, and she was very kind, calm and understanding. I like that Rose Chapel is flexible for the most part, and there weren't too many rules. The reception hall has beautiful tall ceilings, and big windows! -

I looked at multiple venues and the Rose Chapel
was the last of them for me to see. People say first impressions are everything...well the outside of this venue made an awesome first impression on me. It was very important for me to find a venue that was just as beautiful outside as it was inside. When you first walk up the vintage outside looks is so charming and the garden is breath taking, especially when photographing! The inside of the chapel
was amazing as well as the ballroom with the newly installed wood floors. My caterer informed me that they are one of the easiest venues she's had the pleasure of working with! The staff was so helpful and helped me take care of any stress or worry that I had. My day couldn't have been more perfect and I know that the staff and their beautiful venue played a huge part in that! Hint- Around the corner from the chapel is a beautiful side of a building which makes for some awesome photographs:-) -

The venue was beautiful and I got a lot of compliments from the guests on the charm of the place. The price was great and I LOVED having both the ceremony and reception at one site, it made things so easy and stress free for us and the guests.
I did feel like the day of coordinator was a little over-hyped by the venue; it seemed like we were doing a lot of DOC-type things ourselves; 45 minutes before the reception the candles were not lit and the floral arrangements were not on the table; both items I had been previously assured would be taken care of by the venue. A friend of mine took care of the arrangements and chased down the DOC to get her to handle the candles, which she did without delay.
Overall, these small things weren't enough to make me regret the choice, I would definitely get married there again and recommend them to other brides! -

W loved having our wedding and reception here. It was easy to decorate, not too big, not too small for us (~130 guests). The staff is great, very nice and patient. They have quite a few rules about how things must be done that are not always the most convenient, but we worked around those, and found them very reasonable.
The area around makes for good photos.
I think it is competitive with other wedding venues, but I I wish it was a little more affordable. We paid around $2,300 for a Saturday afternoon wedding.
Overall i would recommend them to anyone. -

Its a great place to have both wedding and reception. It does look old timey, but it all worked out great for us and looked amazing! I was pleased with everything throughout the process of getting things figured out up to the end of THE actual night!! The only thing I did not like was the time slots available to rent. I was under impression we had until 11:30 and everyone would exit then, when actually they had everyone exit about 1045 in order to clean up and be out of there by 1130 "/ all in all it was great and I do recommend this place, but get the times RIGHT !:) -

Great value for money. All chairs and tables were included in our rental of the chapel and reception hall. The venue is beautiful, with a rose garden available for the ceremony and a chapel on site as a backup in case of weather. The venue staff was very helpful and cooperative, though they did have a bit of a rough time with my caterer. Be advised: they do not allow ANY cooking on site. I had planned to have sweet potato fries as a passed appetizer at my reception, but the chapel's contract would not allow the caterer to bring in a tabletop fryer, so we had to make other plans.
Something else to consider: The chapel is in a historic neighborhood (which contains some very expensive and very beautiful homes), but is on the very edge of the neighborhood and some of the houses across the street look a little rough. I used to live in this neighborhood and it is PERFECTLY SAFE, but if you have very snooty relatives, they may have some snotty remarks for you. -

My wedding coordinator didn't do much the day of the wedding. Did nothing to help make things run smoother. Since she did nothing to help, our ceremony started 30 min late. People were leaving the reception bc our photos were taking so long and she wouldn't open the buffet or even ask me, my husband or my parents. So 1/3 of our guests were gone when we got back. She also lied to my face during rehearsal. We had people from out of town that were late so we were late to our rehearsal and they only let us practice once. They said they had another rehearsal after ours At 830pm. We stayed in the hall and outside til after 9 and no one ever came. The coordinator left when we left. And we needed that extra time to figure out cultural differences between my husband's and my families. -

Overall, we had a good experience with the Rose Chapel. The staff is extremely friendly. Everyone commented on how beautiful the wedding was. But we did have a few problems, the worst being the rehearsal. Everyone had to wait out in 100 degree heat for 45 minutes because they were late and we couldn't get in. At the reception there were a few small issues with the wait staff not listening to requests (not setting out our personalized cake napkins). But it didn't matter because we were enjoying being in the moment and not worrying about those small things. I'd recommend the Rose Chapel, it was a beautiful place to have our wedding. Just make sure you iron out all the details with them before the big day! -

My wedding turned out beautiful at the Rose Chapel. I think they could update some of the furniture in the brides room and they should have someone who does the music, I had to get a relative to work the sound system. The Ballroom is gorgeous! -

Let me start by saying the chapel itself is beautiful, and so is the ball room.
The day before my wedding we had our rehearsal, the new “director” was a nightmare. They got our timeline messed up, and expected us to decorate within an hour, and show back up an hour and a half before the wedding started. So I asked him could we come in an hour sooner. He put his hand in my face, snapped his finger and threw a complete fit. He called me a liar several times, in a room full of people. When I asked for the owner of the buildings information he then came back and told me “I’m the director I can do that”. If this wasn’t the day before my wedding I would have gotten a refund and moved my wedding else where.
The day of the wedding, was horrible. When I showed up the photo booth wasn’t put up. When I asked where it was at they informed me there wasn’t enough room. When there was. They put it together away from the tables so no one knew to use it. And they forgot a whole table, so I had 10 guests with no seats. I was so embarrassed.
The coordinators didn’t stay on top of anything. One of them stayed in the chapel and I didn’t see her for more than half of my reception. They didn’t time keep for me like they promised they would. And none of the trees were lit up.
I’m so disappointed. And will NOT recommend this establishment ever again. -

Poor management
Working with Roy has been the worst experience of my life. He is a liar with poor communication skills and a bad attitude. When we first met him he was very nice, quoted us a price, told us how much he wanted todo our wedding and made these big promises of venue items we could use. It has been very hard to get any response from Roy via text or email after we paid our deposit. A few weeks from our wedding we received an invoice for $500 over the quote. We were also lied to about the rental time of the venue, which decreased by almost 2 hours.
Run, don’t walk from this venue. It’s a shame it is so beautiful, but so poorly managed. -
