Ron and his team are a dream maker and a true artist. Truly, he created the most incredibly stunning cake I have ever seen but it also tasted amazing. He incorporated elements from every part of my wedding to create a cake that described who my fiancé and I are. Ron wants nothing more than to make you happy and to make your wedding day a dream come true.

Ron and his team were wonderful to work with for our wedding. The cake was absolutely beautiful and incorporated elements from the bride’s dress, our custom-crest, and sugar flowers of the same varieties as the rest of the floral decor throughout the event. It was truly a masterpiece and took our breath away when we saw it.
We also loved that we were able to build several flavors of cake and icing into each tier and our guests still talk about how unique and delicious their slices were. Although our partnership with Ron was included and and arranged through Tavern on the Green, we cannot recommend the RBI team enough for a beautiful wedding cake.

The best ever!
My husband and I got married this past weekend at Cipriani 25 in NYC, Ron Ben Israel’s cake MADE our wedding!!!!! His design was MORE than we could have ever dreamt of, it was a focal point at our wedding and it’s all our guests talked about! His attention to detail is out of this world! Ron and his team are so professional in every way. Choose Ron and his team for your wedding you will NOT regret it! Thank you Ron we love you!!! -

Amazing Pastry Chef
Ron Ben-Israel is an amazing pastry chef! He’s very professional, patient, and down to earth. For the cake tasting, he gives you plenty of time to try all the filling flavors and the cake flavors. He gives you ideas on what flavors go well with each other, which is really helpful. He also has 2 books full of ideas for wedding cake designs. We showed him pictures of what we wanted for the cake and he created a beautiful masterpiece! His sugar flowers are stunning and the cake was delicious! Our guests loved the cake! We highly recommend Ron Ben-Israel! -

We recently hired Ron Ben-Israel to design a cake for our wedding at Gotham Hall in NYC. We had high expectations for this cake as it had to live up to the beauty of our exquisite venue, visually incorporate elements of our wedding theme, cater to guests with very discerning taste buds, and accommodate food allergies with a gluten-free layer!
The process of creating the cake with Ron Ben-Israel was a fun filled and delicious experience! He took to the time to meet with us personally to get a sense for the venue, our colors and floral arrangements, and other wedding themes. He showed us photos of many gorgeous cakes he’s designed to gauge our feedback on what we liked, which enabled him to create a custom cake based on a variety of themes. He also organized a wonderful cake tasting so we could select the type of cake and filling flavors for each individual layer inside.
To say the cake exceeded our expectations is an understatement! Not only did the cake taste phenomenal, but it was a SENSATIONAL work of art! He decorated our cake with gorgeous pink peonies to match the bride’s bouquet - they looked so real we weren’t sure if they were edible! He also took an image of a custom monogram we planned to use on our dance floor and incorporated it into bottom layer of frosting. Ron Ben-Israel is a true artist who we highly recommend for a wedding or any event! We look forward to another family event to work with him again! -

We didn't even know if we wanted a cake before we started planning the wedding. We ended up with the most beautiful and delicious cake I've ever seen/tasted. The team at RBI was wonderful to work with! They matched the cake to our invitations (a sage green to match the color of the tavern on the green) and it was beyond gorgeous!! I'm looking forward to the next excuse I have to plan a party just so I can hire them to make me a cake. If you don't already, follow them on instagram. They're always posting incredible photos! -

Ron and his team were fantastic to work with, always responsive and flexible with our needs. The cake was so stunning it almost felt like a crime to cut into but once we took our first bites it was so worth cutting!!! And the flowers he makes look SO real it is incredible. They can even be saved and displayed after the wedding and after a month to date they still look amazing on our dining room table!
Highly recommend Ron Ben-Israel Cakes!!! -

Stunning and Delicious
We were lucky enough that a cake from Ron Ben-Israel was included as part of our package at our wedding venue, and we could not have been happier with the wedding cake that Ron and his team produced. He and his staff were so friendly and made the tasting process fun (even more fun than any other cake tasting would be), but also designed a cake that exceeded our expectations. Ron understood what we wanted almost better than we did, designing a cake that was classic without being boring -- we received so many compliments! Not only that, but the cake was absolutely delicious! We can't wait until we can experience it again on our first anniversary! Thank you, Ron! -
