This is probably the best food I’ve ever had from a large format catering company. The BBQ was cooked perfectly and we received multiple comments from our guests on how good the food was. I have nothing but good things to say about Rocky Mountain Catering! My husband and I are kind of foodies, so the food at our wedding was very important to us. All the food by Rocky Mountain Catering was absolutely delicious! We particularly loved the hor’dorves, to the point we couldn’t pick just two and added a third. We loved all the food at our wedding, but what really sets Rocky Mountain Catering apart was the staff! We worked with Ashley during planning, and she made everything so easy for us. I have a couple of family members with special needs and Ashley was able to work with us to accommodate their dietary preferences, which made my entire family happy. On the day of our wedding, everyone from Rocky Mountain Catering was professional, kind, and went above and beyond to make our day run smoothly. They even helped clean up our decor at the end of the night! We had a great experience with Rocky Mountain Catering, and the food was one of the highlights of our wedding! -

They were also so helpful every step of the way with the entire process. They provided a few extra decor items to the serving area to make the event even more beautiful! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer! -

RMC is incredible - we booked them for our wedding in Denver and literally have no notes. Jordan is a superstar, she was so helpful in not only executing the catering portion of our wedding but also giving us some great insight into tips and best practices to make sure the entire day went smoothly. She's so knowledgeable about the other vendors in the area and we really trusted her judgement when putting together our wedding team. But back to the food. We opted for a basic bar (we provided our own alcohol), four passed appetizers, salads, and a dual entree. Everything was delicious, but the passed appetizer burgers were incredible - we keep getting compliments from our guests more than three months after. I truly cannot recommend them enough for any event. -

We used Rocky Mountain Catering for our wedding on 11/4/2023, and what a fantastic choice it was! We worked primarily with Lindsay upon inquiry and booking, and throughout the entire process, we were met with fast, friendly, and amazing service. We had our tasting a few months before the wedding and were so impressed with the quality and variety of food within our package. We went with the 'served' barbecue buffet option and couldn't wait for our guests to enjoy it on our wedding day. Folks were raving all night saying it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding, and the staff was so attentive, caring and made sure we had everything we needed. At the end of the night, they even helped box up leftover desserts and our wedding cake to make sure we went home with plenty of sweet treats and memories. From cocktail hour to the full spread for dinner, RMC knocked it out of the park. Thank you RMC! -

We are so happy to have worked with Rocky Mountain Catering. The Italian style buffet was amazing quality and our guests were all ranting about how delicious the food was. They were amazing to work with! Lindsay looked to ensure that our daughter and son-in-laws wants and requests were met. The day do the wedding was perfection. The Captain, Andrew, was an absolute delight to have working the event, catering to the couple’s every need and ensuring that guests were provided with the best food experience. I can’t recommend this company & Jordan enough! They have been amazing to work with throughout our wedding planning and we are so happy we chose them for our wedding! The food was outstanding, they were all so professional and friendly. They helped clean up at the end of our wedding and it was a tremendous help! I’m so happy to be married but kinda sad we won’t be emailing back and forth anymore planning for the big day! You guys helped it become more than what I could’ve ever imagined. We just hosted our dream wedding with the help of RMC and we could not have asked for a more beautiful reception event. Jordan & Dave truly care about how to make your special day an unforgettable experience. We don’t even know how to say thank you! The food was amazing, the reception venue warm and welcoming. 5 Stars for Rocky Mountain Catering
I did not walk into my wedding venue in a good headspace. Many negative things had happened with the venue that I truly didn't have high hopes for much of anything.
I was immediately greeted by Dave- our bartender. He had the biggest smile, was friendly, professional and told me to let him know if I needed anything. He made some light jokes which helped my mood and couldn't have been nicer.
I walked through the kitchen and met Mike. Another wonderful person. He told me he would be running the back of the house and again, told me to let him know if I needed anything. He was my go-to person in the kitchen.
Just when I thought I had met my stellar staff, along came David, my banquet captain. WOW!!!! David is the consummate professional. Always proper, always there to do or say whatever is necessary. If David was wearing a button, it would say, "As You Wish". Under that polished exterior, David is funny, approachable and genuine. Such a kind and giving individual. We did not want for a thing the entire night- he took phenomenal care of us with that As You Wish smile.
All the supporting staff were every bit as nice and helpful. There was not one staff member who made me feel uneasy or wasn't performing at the highest level.
This brings me to General Manager Robin. I am confident her staff is premier because she walks the walks and expects her staff to do the same. Throughout planning our wedding, Robin was amazing. Quick to respond to emails, never raised an eyebrow with changes or silly requests. She doesn't have a "Can-Do" attitude, she has a "Will-Do" attitude. When we arrived at the venue and things weren't as discussed with other vendors, she took control and made sure my vision came true. She and her staff MADE our wedding.
When a vendor set up something indoors, rather than outside, one of her staff members took the task on and moved everything where it belonged. Definitely NOT what I would consider their responsibility.
I am not exaggerating when I say, the entire RMC staff felt more like family than our caterers.
I haven't even mentioned the food- it was outstanding!!! Everyone RAVED about the BBQ, sides and corn bread. The food was beautifully showcased and tasted even better. We were impressed beyond words.
I'm still receiving praises on the food weeks after our wedding!
I truly don't have enough accolades to recommend Rocky Mountain Catering highly enough!! Do not hesitate to hire this fantastic company. You will be getting far more in service than is discussed and you will love the food.

Oh my gosh, where do I even start?! Hiring Rocky Mountain Catering will be the best decision that you will make for your wedding! As a wedding planner I work with a lot of different vendors, and RMC is top of the line! Not only are they responsive in communication, on top of all the details, and completely willing to make the day happen how the couple dreams it to be, but they are fun, easy to work with, and very professional. Something that really stood out to me was their willingness to go above and beyond and even do tasks that weren't their responsibility, but they did them to ensure everyone was happy and everything got taken care of.
I can't gush enough! If you have any doubts, let this be your reassurance: you NEED RMC! -

We researched several caterers for our wedding before selecting Rocky Mountain Catering. I was hesitant to do a buffet because I had had too much mushy Mexican and blah Italian at other weddings, but when we learned that BBQ was part of RMC's legacy, we knew we had to go for it! We were not disappointed and our guests raved. Lindsay was an amazing resource and a huge help. She was incredibly responsive leading up to our wedding, answering my numerous questions and making suggestions. The day of staff were very attentive to my groom and I and we didn't have to worry about a thing. I would highly recommend! -

I spoke with, gathered information, and requested quotes from three catering companies before asking my daughter and her fiancée to make a final selection for their wedding. I was so thankful when they picked Rocky Mountain Catering because my initial contact, Jordan, seemed to thoroughly understand and anticipate our needs. Although I expected good food and service on the day of the event, I never dreamed that it could be this good! From the moment I pulled up in my car with a load of items, until the final neatly wrapped package of leftovers was placed in the car, the staff was right there carrying the load. Their well-coordinated and friendly team was dedicated to making sure absolutely everything was perfect. That perfection included switching on over 150 battery operated fairy and tea lights, moving the bar from outside to inside and packing up every bit of décor at the end of the night – all with a smile and kind words. I never expected the quality of food and service we received and am beyond grateful! -

We hired Rocky Mountain Catering for our wedding in April and it was the best decision we could have made for our caterer. I worked with Lindsay and she was wonderful. I didn't have to worry about the food, the rentals, NOTHING! Every request, question, or worry I had, she had a quick and courteous answer. On the day of the event, I was amazed at how smoothly everything went and how much staff they had present. My husband and I even had our own wait person! AND THE FOOD!!!!! All the food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty for everyone. The price was amazingly reasonable, their staff was wonderful, and the flow of the event was perfection. These people know what they're doing and they do it well and for a good price. I cannot imagine using anyone else and would definitely recommend them for anyone's event. -

Tapping RMC was a TOTAL win for our wedding. We worked with Jordan Giebler and she was 100% on the ball. Showed to our walk-through with our wedding/reception itinerary memorized, offered suggestions to help other vendors (very collaborative), and delivered on her promise to have a wonderful dinner display and service. The appetizers were great too! I'd recommend RMC to any couple with any budget. We were well fed, well entertained, and incredibly pleased with their level of professionalism. 10/10 -

Hannah and her team did an incredible job with our wedding. Hannah was so on top of things and patient with all of my many questions. Food was top of our list when it came to booking vendors and we are SO HAPPY we booked Rocky Mountain Catering Co! We did a BBQ buffet for dinner and our guests raved about it all night long. Everyone complimented it as the best wedding food they had ever had! For apps we had chile rellenos and crab cakes as a tribute to our birthplaces (New Mexico and Maryland) and we wanted to do a late night French Fry bar and they made it happen complete with green chile sauce and an Old Bay seasoning, again for our hometowns.
Can't say enough good things about the quality of food and the overall service. They also were so fantastic with table arrangements and seating, working with the rental company, and overall organization and communication. And they took extra care to make sure my husband and I were well-fed all night! Just outstanding work and we couldn't have been happier with them! -

Rocky Mountain Catering was spectacular to work with to cater our wedding at Willow Ridge Manor. We specifically worked with Shaeley their director of sales who was phenomenal. She answered my endless questions, had great direction for us with being novice using a catering service, and was a helpful advocate for us especially during a pandemic. On the day of our wedding their staff seamlessly set things up for our BBQ buffet, were attentive to all the guests, and their bartender was wonderful. I would highly recommend them for any catering event that is needed! Their prices are fair while their execution with staff, food, etc were exceptional. -

Rocky Mountain Catering was one of the preferred vendors for our reception venue (Villa Parker), and after researching both price and quality, we decided to contract with Rocky Mountain for our wedding reception. They provided appetizers during cocktail hour and a buffet dinner during the reception. We primarily worked with Hannah Fritz, and we have nothing but positive things to say about her! From beginning to end, Hannah made the catering experience entirely stress-free. She is exceptionally responsive, made excellent recommendations for food selections, worked collaboratively both with our day-of coordinator at Villa Parker and with us, and was super accommodating during the several months leading up to the wedding as plans changed due to COVID-19. The day of the wedding, Hannah and the staff at Rocky Mountain were incredible. The food was delicious, their timing worked out despite delays on my part (haha), and our guests raved about the quality of food and customer service. We would highly recommend Rocky Mountain Catering, and especially Hannah! :) -

We found Rocky Mountain Catering through our venue (Spruce Mountain Ranch) because they were one of the required vendors. Because of this, we knew that they would be reliable, trustworthy, and high quality. We looked at the menu, pricing, and reviews. We scheduled a consult to come in. Hannah was our assigned event manager. She was so kind, helpful, friendly, and patient. She had lots of advice for us and was able to answer all of our questions. She was very thorough in all of the information she gave us, and she made us very excited for our wedding! She was always available through email and even text and helped us through different quotes/menus, changes, and even helped create our floor plan and update our Event Rents quote for the tables. Once we figured out our menu, we came in for a tasting. Hannah was able to serve us everything on our menu, and even show us the black plastic plates and utensils that are included, as well as the upgraded plastics that are available. We decided to have the black plastics for our appetizers and cake and for the seconds on the buffet. For our menu we chose the BBQ Buffet. We were still able to choose our sides, bread, and salad. Everything we tasted was so good, and far better than any wedding we had previously attended. The chicken was super tender, juicy, and had that hint of smokiness. The brisket was so tender and juicy and full of flavor. The pulled pork was also tender and full of flavor. We had potato salad, which was some of the best potato salad we have tasted, and green beans with onion, tomatoes, and bacon. The corn bread with the honey butter was so yummy together and went well with the BBQ. We decided at the end of the tasting to change one of the sides from mac and cheese to green beans. However since they had prepared the food ahead of time for us, we weren’t able to taste the change we had made, but we knew that everything else we tasted was so delicious that we knew this would be too. Hannah also attended our 30 day walkthrough with us to go over the plan and the timeline. The service that Rocky Mountain Catering provides is above and beyond what we expected. Not only do they provide and serve the food, but they help set up all the tables and place settings, the chairs at the ceremony and reception, and even have servers walking around to clear plates and cups. They cut and served the cake for us, as well as helped pass out the champagne toast. All of our guests were complimenting us on the food saying it is some of the best BBQ they have tasted and some of the best wedding food they have had! It tasted even better on the day of than it did at the tasting! They say that they make enough portions for every guest to have one of everything, and by the end there was no leftover brisket it was that good! Hannah and her head server were so nice and friendly day of, asking if we ever needed anything. We just had to sit and they served us both up a plate with a little of everything. At the end they packaged up all of the leftover food and cake for us. They also bring their own decorations that match with the theme of your wedding to put out on their buffet tables. Hannah and her team with RMC was able to work so well with our venue and other vendors for a seamless day! We are so happy we chose Rocky Mountain Catering for our big day and are so pleased with how everything turned out! Hannah is so amazing and we can’t thank her and everyone at RMC enough for their help and service! They are definitely invested in you as a couple and are willing to do whatever they can for your big day and your vision! I would recommend Rocky Mountain Catering to anyone who wants a seamless wedding with many of the planning/organizing already set up for you, absolutely high quality delicious food within budget, and excellent service! -

Our design coordinator, Shaeley, was fantastic throughout the entire wedding planning process. She provided recommendations and always allowed me to have an opinion or suggestion. The entire RMC team is excellent, our day-of catering Manager was so helpful and accommodating. She treated us like absolutely royalty on the day of our wedding and it made everything so much more special. Our guests loved all of the food and the pricing was very affordable for the amount of guests we had. We still have guests talking about the S’mores bar. We will definitely be using RMC for future catering needs. Thank you! -

I can not recommend RMC enough! They just catered our entire wedding this past weekend, and all of our guests were impressed with the amount of delicious food we had. My husband and I love to eat, so it was so important to us that we had food options for everyone all night long. Hannah F. and her staff did not disappoint! She made sure we were comfortable and full, she even unbuttoned my wedding dress for me so that I could use the restroom later in the night with minimal help. Seriously cannot recommend them enough! We found Rocky Mountain Catering through our venue’s (Hudson Gardens) list of vendors. RMC is a dream and did absolutely amazing work to make our non-traditional wedding menu (Korean BBQ inspired buffet) a delectable reality. Shaeley Willis is great to work with. She is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and insightful every step of the way. When I connected with her, she was honest that RMC was not experience with our menu's cuisine, but that they were 100% interested in going outside of their culinary box! After our tasting, we were able to hone the dishes and recipes used to get the flavors where we wanted them; and the chef was definitely very open and receptive to our feedback and input! The chef NAILED the food at the wedding! Our entire menu was an absolute hit! Many guests commented on how yummy they thought the appetizers and dinner were! Also, we opted to not have a wedding cake and went with RMC’s S’mores Bar instead- best decision ever. We personally love s’mores, but our guests were also huge fans of this fun interactive dessert station (our wedding was only adults). All the staff at the event were simply amazing. Katie was the head caterer and she blew our proverbial socks off. My husband and I were floored by her thoughtfulness throughout the cocktail hour and reception (during family photos Katie brought us ice cold water and some appetizers; when we sat down at our sweetheart table we had a plate of appetizers waiting for us; during dinner she asked us what we wanted to eat and then had plates of food brought to us so we didn’t have to go to the buffet). RMC is a well-oiled machine that knows how to make sure your wedding reception runs smoothly and everyone goes home well-fed and happy! Our reception was exactly what we hoped for and we owe that in large part to RMC and their incredible team! They take their job seriously and bring their passion for the industry into every thoughtful detail. -

I tried 9 other caterers in Denver and RMC was the BEST CHOICE. Shaeley and her team were nothing less than incredible. They were accommodating, attentive, and flexible throughout the entire journey. They made us a customized menu, a wall to display grilled cheeses, and they offered more than one tasting until we got it just right. On wedding day- I couldn’t of asked for a better team. They set everything up and the place looked magical. They absolutely delivered. Our guests are STILL talking about the food. I’m so impressed by their professionalism, attention to detail, communication, and follow through. Shaeley was one of our favorite vendors. Our food (BBQ Buffet) was absolutely amazing, we are still getting compliments/raves from our guests about the food. The staff was incredible as well, they were so accommodating during our wedding reception, they brought my husband and I our food and even brought plates for our grandparents (which they were floored by the gesture). I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a wonderful and professional team with amazing food.
