Wow where to begin! Riverwood Mansion is a very special place. The staff is INREDIBLE. Cora was our day of coordinator and she was an absolute blessing. Chloe, Georgia, and Brooke were also so so helpful in making this one of the most beautiful days of my life. My fiance and I were sold when they said they handle basically everything. We both are very busy with work, so being able to have Riverwood tackle the heavy lifting of wedding planning for us was a game changer. THEW BLEW OUR EXPECTATIONS OUT OF THE WATER! I could not recommend this venue enough. The property is beautiful, the staff is so passionate and so professional, and they truly care about making your day the best day of your life. -

Absolute 10 out of 10 experience having our wedding at Riverwood! Brooke and the team were magical and handled every detail and aspect of our wedding with such care. The process was truly seamless and we couldn't be happier with how everything went. I could go on about the beautiful surroundings, amazing location, white-glove service and so much more but suffice to say that this venue and team is a cut above. -

The entire Riverwood Mansion team made my wedding day so unbelievably special! I knew from the very first moment I walked through the front doors, I had to get married here. Our guests are still talking about how lovely the day was and how fantastic the food was! Special shout out to Landry and Morgan for being so attentive to detail and making sure everything was PERFECT, even going so far to work with my family and husband to pull off so many amazing surprises for me on the day of! A million thank yous are not enough to express our gratitude for such a wonderful, amazing and flawless day my husband and I will cherish forever!! -

They went above and beyond from coordinating both big and small details and bringing my wedding vision to life. The wedding day itself was absolutely perfect and the day of coordinators did a fantastic job on-site ensuring everything ran smoothly so I could enjoy my wedding day. Can't recommend them enough! -

HUGE thank you to Morgan, Cora, Joyce, Brandin, DJ Chris and all of the Riverwood and 8lavenderlane staff for making our wedding day incredible. We truly could not recommend Riverwood more if you’re considering having a wedding in Nashville. As a long-distance couple planning a wedding in a state neither of us lived in during a very busy time in life, we needed a venue we loved with a staff that would be sure to consistently communicate and help throughout the planning process. Morgan, Cora, and the Riverwood staff did a fantastic job in ensuring we were involved throughout the process. They were able to provide recommendations for quality vendors, provided prompt responses when we had questions and updates as the day came closer, and they were willing to work with us on the small details that made the day and event ours. The Riverwood Mansion property was absolutely stunning on our big day, our guests were able to find the property easily + plenty of parking, and the staff was so helpful. We were given a period of time to actually eat our wedding food-the set-up and time alone were wonderful. We chose to have food stations for our guests, and they couldn’t have been better. Everyone was able to eat plenty and everything was delicious- the food was a CONSISTENT high remark that we are STILL hearing about! We worked with Brandin on a gorgeous and super tasty cake that had 3 tiers of different flavors. Joyce worked with us to plan the day and practice how things would go while making sure everything went well on our big day. We had no issues at all throughout the ceremony and reception, with events being moved along gracefully. DJ Chris worked with us to create an awesome playlist that kept everyone dancing. Several guests at our wedding approached us to let us know how impressed they were with the Riverwood staff, noting how clean the venue remained, how frequently they were offered assistance, and how they didn’t seem to notice all of the upkeep being done because of how efficiently things were being done. If you’re even somewhat thinking about a Nashville wedding, you should look at Riverwood Mansion. It’s on a gorgeous property, with some space, privacy, and peace for your wedding with the option to head downtown afterward. It’d be hard to find a place that better embodies true southern hospitality throughout the whole process. Thank you again to everyone at Riverwood! -

Our wedding was so much fun and was the most beautiful day of my life!!! We ended up having to go with the rain plan after a whole year of planning and dreaming of an outside garden wedding. Landry assured me that everything would still be amazing and beautiful and she did not lie!! The indoor ceremony turned out way better than i could have even imagined! I was amazed at how beautiful everything turned out even when it didn't go as planned. Landry was so helpful and answered all of my questions and helped with planning. Being in the busiest season of my life, the all-inclusive aspect of the venue was a life saver. I am truly so amazed by how perfect everything turned out and I could not recommend this venue enough!!! -

Dream Wedding
Our daughter’s wedding at Riverwood Mansion was nothing short of perfect. Landry, Chef Eric, and staff help create an enchanting evening for all our guests. They helped bring all of our daughters dreams of a magical evening to reality. There was a delicious meal and original appetizers, beautiful floral, wonderful music, and special features throughout the evening. Ms. Joyce kept up on time for the ceremony and Landry made sure everything ran smoothly. She made an extra effort to help us pull off an epic Father of the bride speech that our family and friends and still talking about. Many of our guests also commented on the beautiful venue and how personal they felt the ceremony was. Multiple guest said it was the most fun they have ever had at a wedding. I feel Riverwood help make our daughter’s wedding a reflection of their style and personality. I couldn’t imagine having another group of people to work with on such an important night. We will be talking about this special night for a long time. Thank you Riverwood Mansion!! -

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Riverwood! Morgan was our day of coordinator and Joyce was our ceremony director. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible and that we all had the best time! My family and friends couldn’t stop talking about how great they both were throughout the whole day. Having a rain plan is a huge plus, it ended up storming on our wedding weekend and we made the call to move our ceremony inside the parlors of the mansion. Morgan made sure that the ceremony space was gorgeous and we were so happy with our decision! Chef Eric’s food was incredible and we’ve gotten so many compliments on our dinner and cake. Cora and Morgan helped with our planning and I truly do not think I could have planned a wedding without them. They made everything so easy and were so quick to answer all of my questions (and reassure me that things would work out when I got nervous)! Overall, our day was perfect. Riverwood is the best venue and has the best team around! -

Being a Mother from a far away city and a daughter who worked nights, this could have been a recipe for disaster! The planning you did ahead of time and the great communication with both of us really worked and a gorgeous wedding with wonderful food, beautiful flowers and an orchestrated event was enjoyed by us and our guests!
Thank you is not enough! But we are extremely thankful to both of you and the fabulous staff for such a fine day!

When COVID hit, we scrapped ever piece our original wedding plan. We decided to relocate our wedding to be closer to family members who would be attending and decided to choose the 2 hour package at Riverwood Mansion. We chose the place based solely on pictures as traveling to Nashville to check out venues in the era of COVID didn’t seem like a great option. The staff at Riverwood was so responsive to all of my questions and made the planning process from afar so easy. I was able to see the location in person two days before the wedding. I WAS SO HAPPY that the venue looked better than the pictures! I couldn’t get over all of the chandeliers. So gorgeous! We were so happy with the venue and our experience at Riverwood Mansion. Our wedding day was perfect. -

We booked Riverwood for a 2-hour elopement package, and the entire experience was so smooth and absolutely perfect. From the time we signed the contract, Sue, our to-be officiant/coordinator, reached out to start gathering details, and she was such a pleasure to work with. I sent Sue oodles of flower photos that I liked as she would be creating my bouquet, and what she ended up creating was more than I could’ve expected. It was stunning and fit the fall season beautifully with a pop of color. The cake provided with the package was delicious, and it really helped for a peaceful experience knowing that the venue/Sue would take care of these details. My family, husband and I simply arrived the day of and were able to enjoy the rest from there without bringing anything but ourselves. We brought our own musician in addition, and the venue ensured he had a seat and a place to plug his amp outside, and it was lovely. We spent a lot of time taking photos of the beautiful house inside and then had our ceremony surrounded by greenery in the back. It was mostly shaded and felt wonderful even in the Nashville heat of early October. The location is simply stunning. We had no decorations, but the location itself does all the work- we didn’t need them. Would totally recommend this venue, Sue and the elopement packages! -

Choosing the Riverwood Mansion for your wedding was hands down the best decision that my husband and I could have made. They made our planning experience so easy and enjoyable. Joyce, our ceremony director was a hoot, and had every one of our details and requests executed flawlessly. Megan, our coordinator was magic behind the scenes and made sure everything was exactly where it was supposed to, and looking how we wanted it! Jacey did our detailing and was very patient with our multiple questions and emails, and also made sure all of our requests were so precisely executed. All of the vendors included in the Riverwood Packages were easy to communicate with and were all very friendly. The food was wonderful, and we received so many compliments on everything served, specifically the mashed potato bar! As a wedding planner myself, it was so hard to relinquish the event and its control over to Joyce and Megan, but as soon as I arrived at the Mansion the morning of the wedding, they truly had everything perfectly under control, and let me enjoy the day the way a bride is supposed to. We cannot thank the incredible team at the Riverwood Mansion enough for making our big day absolutely perfect.
*The only thing that we would have improved would be how our wedding cake tasted, although it looked beautiful and exactly as we envisioned it! -

Absolutely perfect. Everything was perfect. The ceremony was stunning and the reception was badass! Also.. the team at Riverwood is EXCEPTIONAL. I don’t know how I would have made it through that crazy day without them!! Cora was with me every step of the way and was there for ANYTHING I needed. Jacey was so patient with us while we planned and our sweet ceremony director, Megan, was a dream come true! Love this venue. -

When my husband and I decided to get married in Nashville, we were overwhelmed with possibilities for venues. We did extensive research and we loved Riverwoods all-inclusive package and dealing with Cora Bradley and Sue. We are from Canada and did all our planning via telephone calls and emails, they made the planning and execution of my dream wedding seamless and painless.
Arriving in Nashville the day before the wedding, Cora was accommodating to let us have a walk-through and the venue truly brought me to tears, the photos don't do it justice.
I HIGHLY recommend Riverwood for anyone looking for a vintage, elegant and classy wedding venue.
We have memories we'll cherish for a lifetime! I couldn't be more thankful to the Riverwood team. -

We could not have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding and cannot thank Megan and Jacey enough. The staff was very professional, communicative, and helped bring our vision to life. Our wedding day was extremely easy because of all of their hard work and both the ceremony and the reception spaces were decorated beautifully. The contractors they use for flowers and food/cake were also wonderful. We couldn't have asked for anything better. -

They made planning easy with their wonderful vendors- the flowers were beautiful and the food was excellent. I had many people tell me our wedding at riverwood was the best they had ever attended. Our wedding planner, Jacey, and our ceremony director, Joyce, were on point. Everything went off without a hitch! If I had to do it again I would not change a thing. Thank you riverwood mansion! -
Meghan Sent on 04/27/2018Even though we purchased the elopement package for just our family, Sue treated us as if we had several hundred guests. We had the mansion to ourselves for one hour with the ability to take pictures all over. She ensured we had all the nice touches, made incredibly gorgeous flower arrangements, provided us a darling and delicious cake and was such a pleasant addition to our special day. I felt amazing and beautiful in that mansion and the pictures do not do it justice. If you are getting married in Nashville then it needs to be at Riverwood. You will not be disappointed.

Patti Sent on 09/13/2016This venue is absolutely gorgeous!!! Our wedding was early (9am-11am) and the setting was perfect. The garden was very pretty and the inside of the mansion is stunning. If you are looking for a romantic venue, I highly recommend Riverwood Mansion. We booked an elopement package with them but still had use of the full venue for our pictures. -

I've been to weddings where the parents of the the bride and groom have to do the majority of the clean up and can't focus on the wedding, not here! Our parents hot to enjoy themselves just as much as we did. -

They were so professional, so helpful, and able to keep me relaxed at a very nerve-wracking time when it was raining on my wedding day. The backup plan for a rainy day was just as beautiful as the garden outside. I can't say enough about Katie for getting everything organized and Joyce for making sure everything flowed smoothly. I would recommend this venue to anyone in Tennessee or outside of TN!
They work wih A Catered Affair for food and cake. Outstanding! The sirloin steak, potatoes layonnaise, and green beans were out of sight! And the cake was beautiful...tastey too! Thank you, Amy!!! -

For being in the heart of Nashville, Riverwood Mansion feels very private, very intimate, and gorgeous vintage luxury. Along with the venue, you'll receive a planner to help with details, which is great. All staff is extremely professional and take their work to heart. They have a decor selection to choose from in house (which is great when you consider the costs of some of the smaller items like signage). Excellent experience!! -

Jacey was excellent and the venue is beautiful. Food was good and my guests had a great time. My "wedding coordinator" was introduced to me at the last minute and she had my wedding party walking in in reverse order, my grand father didn't get his flower pin because she gave it to someone else, and generally seemed flustered and unsure what was going on. The house is very old and the window fell out of the bathroom door during my reception and they charged ~400 to basically glue the window back in the door, which is a rip off for sure. The window was dry rotted, which is why it fell out.
