  Very nice personal touch

  My husband and I met Reverend Mike Barger just two weeks prior to our ceremony. We immediately felt at ease with him and decided to book him at our first meeting. We emailed over the next couple weeks but nothing overwhelming or too time-consuming which we appreciated with all the other details we had to attend to. Reverend Mike arrived at our venue and met and mingled with our guests. With his personal touch he included all the topics that were important to us. He is extremely easy-going and flexible with scheduling. Our guests were surprised to learn that we had not known him on a personal level prior to our ceremony. There was nothing that felt generic about his sermon. We highly recommend.

  Words cannot express how amazing Reverend Barger is. We were planning our wedding from out-of-state and he made the ceremony planning SO EASY! He truly took so much stress away and I am so grateful for that. Not only that, but he traveled three hours to get to our rehearsal, then drove the three hours home, just to be back the next day for the wedding. We didn't get to meet him until the rehearsal and he made it feel so comfortable, like he was an old friend. His ceremony readings were beautiful. he never sounded lost or awkward... he was perfect! We received many compliments from our guests on our ceremony and Mike is the man we need to thank for that. So thank you Mike for EVERYTHING you did to help us make our wedding day absolutely perfect!

  Reverend Barger was a dream officiant for us. We have no religious affiliation, and really didn't want much traditionalism, but still wanted professionalism and eloquence. We spoke to SO MANY officiants and were disappointed by so many. From my first e-mail, to the good-bye after the ceremony Reverend Barger was a dream to work with. He was also affordable, timely, extremely friendly, he incorporated everything I asked for in a creative and beautiful way. I will never forget my ceremony and he made that happen. So happy, and would definitely recommend him to other brides and grooms!

  Rev Mike was the best choice for our wedding 7/15. He made the ceremony very special and personable for us. He seemed like part of the family! He helped us keep things going smoothly despite additions we made at the last minute including myself being driven out to the ceremony in the back of an old car! His choice of words left many tears on our special day, including most of our guests! He made our backyard hayfield wedding feel like a dream wedding! Thank you For your eloquent and thoughtful words as we joined our families!

  Rev. Mike was great! We had added a different spin where others do a unity candle or sand, and Rev. Mike wrote out a great explanation of what we were doing, based off of our simple explanation to him. Our guests made many positive comments about our ceremony which he did a great job of tailoring to us. We really could not have asked for a better officiant!

  I will be honest. Rev Barger was not my first choice; I had anticipated and expected to be working with another officiant, but a last minute family emergency occurred and she instead sent my payment and all of the work we had done on the ceremony to Rev. Barger.
  
  With less than a month to prepare, Rev Barger went through every note we made and communicated with me and my husband multiple times before the rehersal. At the rehearsal I was very frazzled and frustrated, but he took charge and made sure we stepped through each part of the ceremony and walking before we left.
  
  At the wedding, he was phenomenal. I was so pleased with service and the way he presented it, the fact that he completely understood what we had been working on for month with our original officiant. He was very calming and everything ran so fluidly.
  
  I am eternally grateful that Rev. Barger took on our wedding at the last minute, and so appreciative to my original officiant for arranging such a fantastic person to take their place.

  Mike made our unconventional wedding perfect. He was willing to drive to 7,500 feet and stand outdoors. He then delivered a beautiful ceremony. I tear up just thinking about it! Nobody could have done better!

  Reverend Barger was an amazing part of our wonderful day. He took so much time to get to know us and make our ceremony exactly the way we wanted it. Our guests commented on what a great job he did! He was very professional but we felt like he was part of the family by the end of our whole experience.

  I couldn't have found a better officiant - period! I was looking for someone that I could feel comfortable with that was also comfortable performing a non-religious ceremony that was still spiritual and meaningful but personal, not cookie cutter. He was instrumental in helping us find all the right words - readings, blessings, etc. I've received complements from our guests that the ceremony was so different, perfect and unique.

  Reverend Mike was awesome. He was so nice to work with. He had a great sense of humor. But most importantly, he just gets it - he understood what we wanted and never told us what to do. No matter what question we asked, his answer was never No. He would always give us options or ideas to make it happen. We wanted to do some creative stuff, and instead of looking at us like we were silly, he got involved and wanted to be an active part of everything. He ever helped us out when we played a prank on my dad at the wedding rehearsal. We talked to half a dozen ministers before we chosen Reverend Mike, and he was the only choice. He was terrific and our wedding was perfect. Thanks!

  Reverend Barger was awesome. He made or memories of our wedding something we will never forget. He was wonderful. He worked with us and did what we wanted. He was very flexible but also gave us ideas.
  I will let anyone know that is in the market for someone to marry them to choose him.

  Reverend Mike was the best. He was absolutely fantastic to work with. He had great ideas and helped us plan the perfect ceremony. It was everything we wanted and more. We got so many comments for our friends and family on the amazing ceremony. It could not have been better. He has a knack for putting everyone at ease - from the teenage ushers to our grandparents, everyone thought he was great. And I have never met anyone who could so easily put a stressed out bride at ease and help her feel comfortable planning the biggest event of her life. We can never thank him enough! Seveeral of our friends have contacted him after being at our ceremony wanting him to do theirs. We would give him the highest possible recommendation!

  Reverend Mike was amazing. My fiance had enlisted in the army and he was getting ready to leave for boot camp. We decided with less than a week to plan to get married before he left. We contactd Reverend Mike and he walked us through every step. He asked us tons of questions but made it easy to plan. We ended up choosing most of the ceremony elements and Reverend Mike wrote the ret. His words at the ceremony were so incredible.   Reverend Mike was our wedding officiant in September 2014 in Boulder, Co. He helped us pick our readings and create our wedding vows and we are so thankful for his expertise! We had open communication throughout the planning process and everything felt so easy and went so smoothly on the wedding day. We highly recommend Reverend Mike as a wedding officiant!

  Reverend Mike Barger did a beautiful job with our ceremony. He wrote everything out for us and helped us pick out some beatiful vows. At the end of the ceremony every one was asking if we had written them our selves. He is very reasonably priced and doesn't charge for a rehersal unless you have one.

  well to be honest rev mike is a grooms best friend... and a brides dream come true. the communication was perfect. his ideas were spot on. Rev. Mike was perfect for us because we are spiritual not religious. His understanding and ability to meet our needs were great. If you need a Officiant that a men can relate to and that can handel a bride with kid gloves this is the man for you.
