Red apple tree = awesome

I have nothing but good things to say about Red Apple Tree! From the initial meeting with them and the corny jokes shared between Keith and Andrew, we were hooked! Keith and Crystal are amazing and make you feel so comfortable for pictures. Everything was always so fun with them! It is more than just pictures -- it is a friendship with lots of laughter. I could not recommend any other photographer than Red Apple for your wedding day!! They are so much fun!!

Love this talented duo!

From the first phone call to our actual wedding day, Keith and Crystal were so great to work with! The entire process was smooth and they do a great job at making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. That's very important when you're experiencing nerves on the big day! We also did an engagement session before our wedding, which was very helpful to get to know them and their style of photography. Not only did our engagement and wedding photos turn out amazing, but one big thing that sets them apart from others is that they are very organized and create an event timeline that helps structure your wedding day based on what type of photos you want to capture, ensuring nothing gets missed! This really helps your day become stress-free and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this husband and wife duo to anyone who is looking for fun, talented, and approachable photographers to work with!

You won't regret it!

A photographer is one of the most important vendors when planning a wedding, and you will not regret working with Keith and Crystal! All of the pictures from our engagement session and wedding are amazing. As a husband and wife team, they work so well together and are able to capture every moment perfectly. After my first phone call with Keith I was sold. He was so helpful in offering suggestions and setting the timeline and you could tell he is passionate about his job. He communicated with me regularly throughout the process. My husband and I have never taken professional photos before, but they both made us feel so comfortable being the center of attention and made everything so easy and efficient. The full gallery was back to us within a month which was awesome. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, and would use them again for any future photo sessions!

They captured it all!

From my first conversation with Keith, I knew him and Crystal would be the perfect photographer for our wedding. Throughout the entire process, they had great communication and were so professional! On our wedding day they fit in with our bridal party and family wonderfully and made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Their teamwork allowed them to capture everything from every angle possible. Our guest raved about their ability to capture every little "moment" allowing our photos to be natural and filled with raw emotion. We could not have chosen a better photography team to help us capture these memories that allow us to relive this day forever!

Best Decision I Made

Hiring Keith and Crystal was the best wedding planning decision I made. Hands down.

They even got pictures of our cats

Keith and Crystal were absolutely amazing and I couldn't have imagined our big day without them. They were our favorite wedding vendor by far. They are organized, but relaxed, professional, but super friendly, a wedding vendor, but also guests who are celebrating your big day right along with you! Keith even went above and beyond and took some amazing photos of our pets while he was at our house capturing pictures of the guys getting ready and he also talked a guy into letting us into his classic car to grab a couple photos at the end of the day in exchange for some photos of the guy and his wife in front of the car as well, I can assure you this was a dream come true for my groom :P Keith and Crystal compliment each other so well as a team, they know what each other needs before they even ask and the relaxed way in which they interact makes you feel like you're just getting pictures taken by friends. AND THE PICTURES! Let me tell you, the pictures were amazing. They have the ability to take your stereotypical posed wedding photos (bridesmaids walking and laughing, groomsmen walking and laughing, everyone laughing) and make them look unique and genuine. AND THE LIGHTING, Keith captured some sunset shots of us that I love more than any photo I've ever seen. I highly highly recommend this duo, we couldn't have done it without them.

Keith and Crystal, what to say that hasn't already been said? They went above and beyond to help my bride feel comfortable, to give us the most for our money, and the make the day special for all involved.

We had them shoot for our engagement photos, our rehearsal dinner, and our wedding. It was an absolute joy to get to know them through this process. They're both very personable and professional. They communicate well and make sure that you're looking your best.

Every step of the process went smoothly and you never had to wonder when the pictures were going to end because they are so efficient.

Keith helped us work through our timeline to make sure everything we wanted to photograph was captured and he is a font of good advice for the big day.

Sweet Memories

Crystal and Keith were great! We did not have a wedding planner so they really helped us map out our big day! They have wonderful experience and great personalities! They make you feel comfortable and got some great candids which was such a blessing because the wedding day itself goes so quick; it's important to have it all captured to look back on. Amazing people who produce an amazing product!!

Keith and Crystal were the first vendors we met with and they set the scene for our wonderful wedding day! The best photographers

I can't put into words how much I love Crystal and Keith! They are the best in the business and amazing to work with! They make you feel at ease and walk you through the entire process from your first phone call until the last photo is snapped on your wedding day. I’m so happy we chose them to capture this special time in our lives. They make all of your sessions so fun that you forget they are taking the pictures. Keith and Crystal also have an eye for detail that is unmatched! I’m still in awe from all of our pictures from the engagement shoot, bridal portraits, and our wedding. We wouldn't have gotten married without them there!

Crystal and Keith were literally the first vendors we called after we got engaged. I am not exaggerating when I say I couldn't imagine my wedding day without them there! They were the photographers for my twin sister's wedding and I remembered them being the "glue" that held the whole day together. Having them at my wedding day was so, so special. It was like having another member of the family there. Rather than blending into the background, they were a part of the celebration in the best possible way.

Aside from the fact that they are completely unmatched in their photography skills (the pictures were AMAZING), they are also wedding experts and helped us navigate the day. Keith even helped me make a timeline! He knew when the best light would be happening and travel time between locations. His expertise made things easy for me.

Finally, a lot of my friends have gotten married recently and had different photographers. I've heard some horror stories about not being able to receive all of the digital files for the images! Yikes! Keith sends all of the files in two versions: one with a watermark for sharing on social media (which I was happy to do because I would shout from a mountain top on how great Red Apple Tree Photography is!!), and a second which is all of the high res files (no watermark) for printing. It's easy to work with the file transfer software and I had all of my pictures in a way that I could use.

So yes, these two are the best photographers you could ever hope to book. If your date is flexible and they are unavailable on one of your options, you should go with the date they are open, specifically for to have them there. ;)

Wonderful experience from start to finish!

Crystal and Keith shot our wedding in Greenville SC on May 26th 2018. Words cannot describe how great they are to work with. Their work is absolutely incredible and every picture is stunning. My husband and I are still just in awe at the great work and have loved sharing them with everyone. They captured every single memory of our entire day. When I first met them it was as though I had known them half of my life. They knew exactly what I wanted and were so thoughtful and patient. They were also very quick and got straight to business the day of, always on top of schedule and didn't skip a beat. What an AMAZING experience Jack and I had for our engagement session with Keith and Crystal! From our initial correspondence with them to the final photos, we only have wonderful things to say! They have been so incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the process even letting us move days/times last minute when a storm was excepted during our initial session time. Then from the moment we met them the morning of our session they immediately put us at ease and made us feel so comfortable – which really showed in our pictures. They are also so incredibly nice and talented! Our session was over before we knew it and already I was so excited to see everything they captured. We received our photos less than 2 weeks later and let me tell you, we (along with our families) were absolutely blown away! They captured exactly what we were hoping for and MORE! Keith and Crystal were the absolute perfect choice for our big day! The photos really speak for themselves! However from the very first interaction with them through after the wedding and photo book planning etc they have been so kind, so understanding, professional, helpful, and just overall amazing. We originally chose them because they have two people to capture various angles of everything like the aisle, his reaction and my veil at the same time. But we are so glad we chose them for a million reasons! They sat with us for hours talking about what we wanted for our big day. They had us share a pinterest board of photo ideas we wanted to try. They also had us complete a list of photos we wanted with each set of family members etc. They had those printed and on a clipboard ready to go on the big day. They didn't miss a single photo. When rehearsal didn't go as planned and we had to get the bridal party up to the chapel earlier than expected, they still made the revised schedule work. They captured every moment we were hoping and more. Their personalities make you want to shoot with them every day. They were encouraging and sweet and didn't intrude in any way. They let us be ourselves and captured our love on camera. I can't stop looking at the photos and I am so glad we picked them. I can't wait to get our photo album together! Keith and Crystal are incredible! I can't say enough good things about them! They photographed our wedding and reception, but they also did my bridal portraits. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera...which is something I was worried about. Our pictures are stunning, and I know I made the best decision hiring Red Apple Tree! I've gotten so many compliments from friends and family that have looked through our album - even the girl at CVS where I got some of them printed said they were the most beautiful wedding pictures she'd ever seen. Where to start! Crystal and Keith are the most wonderful people EVER!!! After I reached out to them for pricing/availability, Crystal and I hopped on phone call and instantly clicked! Jacob and I both feel like we have known these two for ages. They are so down to earth, professional, and kind-- exactly the people you want to be by your side to capture your happiest moments on your wedding day!

They are such an amazing team-- the two of them work in sync with one another (it's seriously like they just KNOW what each other is thinking/what to do). They asked that I share a Pinterest board with inspiration/photos I liked for our engagement session, and they printed out the photos, brought them day of, and shot every style! During the shoot Jacob and I felt so comfortable with one another and them-- they make the photo shoots so FUN and it doesn't even feel like there is anyone there taking your photo!

They capture every.single.moment and emotion beautifully. Several of our family members and friends said just looking at the wedding photos feels like they're reliving the actual day, and we couldn't agree more.

We could not be more thrilled with our photographs from our engagement session and our wedding day. Keith and Crystal are seriously a DREAM to work with, and we cannot wait to work with them again in the future! THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! We love you both!

Wow! Where to even begin? Keith and Crystal are a fantastic team of photographers! From the moment I met with them the first time I knew they were going to be the best choice for our wedding. These 2 are truly incredible and so talented! Crystal and Keith are so laid back and easy to work with! Our engagement photo session was so much fun, and the pictures turned out perfectly. I am so glad that we chose Red Apple Tree to do our engagement and wedding pictures! Keith and Crystal are an amazing couple, and it was so helpful to have 2 photographers that communicated so well with each other (even more so since they are married) to get even more amazing shots. They were able to more effectively demonstrate how to do certain poses to help make us feel a lot more comfortable in front of the camera. They are both so warm and friendly, which really helped to make us feel more relaxed on the day of our wedding. Additionally, Keith was very helpful with creating an itinerary for the wedding day to allow everything to run more smoothly with pictures. Red Apple Tree Photography is amazing! Keith and Crystal took engagement photos for us at Clemson University a few months ago. We are getting married in Maryland, but wanted a local photographer for our Clemson engagement photos. We primarily chose them because they had done engagement shoots at Clemson multiple times in the past, but we also loved the photos on their website. Keith and Crystal didn't disappoint. Crystal responded to all of my emails very quickly and answered all of my questions! In person, they were super friendly which made us feel very comfortable, and within a few minutes we felt like we had known them for years. I also liked how Crystal would adjust my hair or our pose so we could get the perfect photo! At the end, our photos (all 276 of them) turned out great, so much so that we spent hours trying to narrow it down to 3 photos for our Save the Dates and we still have problems trying to choose a favorite! Our families loved the photos just as much as we did and we got so many complements on our Save the Date. We are so happy that we choose them to capture our engagement photos! We wish we hadn't already signed a contract with a wedding photographer back home, because Red Apple Tree was awesome and we would love to have our photos taken by them again!

WOW!!! Words cannot describe how wonderful Crystal and Keith were to us! I was an anxious, nervous mess for the photos particularly since our littlest one was a little under the weather but Crystal and Keith were so patient and kind to us and our children that they put me at ease almost immediately. They were flexible enough to change the location the night before which made traveling a bit easier on us. They were great with our kids who preferred to run around than take pictures. I received my pictures exactly when they told me I would and they turned out PHENOMENAL!!! I would HIGHLY recommend Red Apple Tree Photography to anyone! Keith and Crystal were a breath of fresh air our wedding day and we both were so genuinely glad they were a part of everything. They bring a sense of calm to the day and they kept all of us laughing, relaxed, and on time. Plain and simple, we just enjoyed their company all night long! Our friends and family echoed these sentiments as well and we've heard nothing but how much everyone enjoyed them too.

We just got married two weeks ago, so we do not have our photos back yet, however our engagement photos were absolutely stunning, perfect, and so "us" that I know our wedding photos will be equally as beautiful.

I would highly, highly recommend Red Apple Tree to any bride and groom. Keith and Crystal, in my opinion, are the best in the business!

We can’t thank Red Apple Tree Photography enough for helping to make our wedding day so special!

We were absolutely blown away by the thoughtfulness and the attention to detail from this awesome husband and wife duo! Keith and Crystal have so much knowledge and experience, and are extremely helpful, organized, and so well prepared! They truly went above and beyond. It was so nice working with people who really love what they do!

Our photo shoot with Keith was an absolute blast! He went way out of his way to make sure we could get the shots we were hoping for and was extremely flexible with our last minute requests. He was so prepared that he had multiple cameras/lenses ready for any and every scenario, as well as special lighting if the need were to arise (which it did)! He did a beautiful job capturing our day and helping to make it more fun!

I can not tell you how much my husband and I LOVE Crystal and Keith! We were first introduced to them at my friends' wedding they were shooting, where we fell in love with their pictures and their amazing personalities! Once we got engaged, they were the first vendors we booked! They are based in South Carolina, and our wedding was in Virginia, but we HAD to have them. We booked them not only for the wedding, but for our engagement pictures also, it was seriously the best decision we made. My husband is not one who likes to be in pictures or in front of a camera, but he was so natural with them. They made us feel so comfortable. Their pictures and lighting are BEAUTIFUL! We had 24 people in the wedding party and I have large family, but the pictures on the wedding day went by so smoothly. They are extremely organized, calm, and enjoyable to be around, and I got an ENDLESS amount of compliments from guests and the bridal party about how much they loved them! BOOK THEM! Seriously! We even ended up booking them for the rehearsal dinner, and we plan on using them every year for anniversary pictures! We can't get enough of Red Apple Tree Photography!

Crystal and Keith did the photography for my daughter's bridal portrait and wedding. As a mother of the bride coordinating the wedding from out of state, it was a great relief to work with such professionals - they were so responsive, organized and prompt. They showed up where and when they say they would and delivered the final photos on the date they had promised. Crystal and Keith both took pictures so we got great shots from different angles. And they were so much fun: they put everyone at ease and had us all relaxed and laughing. It was so pleasant and enjoyable working with them. Best yet, the photos were spectacular! I wish I had another event in South Carolina so I could work with them again!

Of all the vendors we hired, these two blew our expectations out of the water more than any of the others!! Amazing! My fiancé and I could not be happier with how our engagement pictures came out thanks to Crystal and Keith at Red Apple Tree Photography. Keith and Crystal are simply the best. I have been friends with them for many years. But, that did not change the professionalism they showed me as a client. We exchanged multiple emails and phone calls and I received the contract in a very timely manner. Keith made a very specific timeline for me so that the day would go as smoothly as possible and so that all of my vendors, wedding party, hair and makeup services, etc could know when, exactly, they needed to be ready to go. Besides the business side of things, Keith and Crystal are just excellent photographers. They take the clients' wishes into account while keeping things realistic. They have such a wonderful energy; a combination of fun, excitement, and calm and reassuring. They made me feel so comfortable, even though I typically do not enjoy having my picture taken. They did an awesome job staying on schedule and everything went just as perfectly as one could hope for. The images were up today and I could not be happier. They are stunning. Keith and Crystal are not only excellent photographers, they're the kind of people you'd like to sit down and have a beer with. Why does that matter? Well, if you're like me and my husband, you're not used to being photographed at all. Keith and Crystal's friendly personalities helped to put us at ease and resulted in the least stressful photo experience possible (very important on such a stressful day)!

Keith and Crystal are also extremely detail-oriented and thorough. The first time I spoke on the phone with Crystal, she mentioned the expected sunset time on my wedding day--she had researched this before speaking with me, and would use it to plan when certain photos were taken, etc. I was so impressed by that! They also worked with me to create a list of photos we wanted and the people who needed to be in them so that we spent less time standing around on our big day and more time enjoying the reception.

Their outstanding talent speaks for itself when you look at their photos. I am so happy that we'll finally have some (excellent quality) pictures of ourselves that we can be proud to display in our home. I'd recommend Red Apple Tree to everyone!

I know I am a couple of months behind but Keith and Crystal are amazing at what they do!! With everything that can/will go wrong or off schedule the day of the wedding, they were there to keep everything rolling and kept smiles on their faces the whole time! Even when the hook on my dress broke or when my groom arrived to the church an hour and a half later then he was supposed to be they never once showed any stress, which kept me calm and stress free :) Both of our families and us LOVED all of the pictures! Crystal and Keith are absolutely amazing!! From day one, we knew we were going to love them. You could not be in better hands with Crystal and Keith! They exceeded all our expectations! We had our wedding on 10/3/15 in Greenville, SC at the Westin during Hurrican Joaquin and despite the weather we had the most perfect day, large in part to Red Apple Tree! Leading up to the wedding, Crystal and Keith were extremely organized and always willing to lend a helping hand, beyond wedding photos. During our engagement photo session, we knew we had picked the perfect photographers for us. They make you feel right at home and comfortable in front of the camera, in addition to feeling like they are your friends. Crystal and Keith kept us on time and made sure to get all the photos we wanted. They were SUPER flexible with our family and friends who popped in (unplanned) during pictures, took tons of photo requests during the reception, and even stayed late after our reception to get some rooftop pictures - braving the wind and rain without umbrellas I might add! Crystal was also a life saver sewing the bustle on my dress after someone had stepped on it accidentally. Crystal and Keith were honestly beyond magnificent. We had our wedding 8/22/15 in Clemson, SC and Crystal and Keith were such a pleasure to work with. We also did our engagement pictures with them. Not only were their pictures fantastic, but the way they handled the relationship prior to the wedding day and all the duties day of, was nothing short of amazing. They helped us build a wedding itinerary since we did not have a formal planner. Our DJ, Officiant and guests all ended up going off the itinerary they first developed.

Their planning ability prior to the wedding made the day of stress free and FUN. Everyone knew what was expected of them and when they needed to be at a certain place. This allowed Crystal and Keith to capture so many amazing candid moments that would have been lost if it weren't for their preparation.

Following the ceremony, they were again incredibly prepared with all the names of people we wanted pictures with. We were able to get through all the family pictures and start the reception perfectly on time. Crystal printed our my wife's Pinterest page to make sure no pictures were forgotten from the ceremony or reception... an awesome touch.

Lastly, we were blown away by how involved Crystal and Keith were in our reception. They stayed until every last guest left. I think they told us at the end of it, they took 4,500 pictures. Their is so much more to add to this, but at the end of the day, Red Apple Tree is just magnificent.

Book them!!! If you're looking at reviews you've probably already fallen in love with their images (which are just phenomenal!!) and now you should know that the couple behind the camera are just as phenomenal! Keith and Crystal instantly felt like friends, and that made us so comfortable and trusting. I highly recommend booking an engagement session so you can figure out what poses feel the most genuine to you, and then by the wedding you'll be an expert! One of my FAVORITE things about Keith and Crystal was they asked me to create a wedding photography Pinterest board so they could see what I like, and THEN they printed out ALL those images and brought them to our engagement shoot to replicate some of our favorites! Talk about getting EXACTLY what you want! I also loved how there was no limits for the engagement shoot - some photographers might have a time limit, or stop after taking a certain number of pictures, not them! We went everywhere we could in downtown Charleston until it was too dark out to continue (some of my favorites were the last few they took!). Then to the wedding day. As the bride you want to feel beautiful, and Keith and Crystal were so complimentary and excited about the images they were capturing that I felt amazing all day! Once again they took every picture/pose I requested, and were so efficient when it came to the standard family poses so that we didn't waste too much time (can't tell you how important this is!). Having been in weddings before, I've seen how FEW photos that the couples have with each other and with their bridal party - not us! We had a gallery of almost 2000 completely flawless pictures! Going through the gallery reminded me of all the emotions of that day and took me right back to those moments, I couldn't ask for a better reaction! I absolutely do not have the words to describe how wonderful Keith and Crystal were to work with! After we got engaged, we did tons of research into area photographers and thought we would have a really hard time deciding on one. After our first phone call with them, however, we were instantly sure of who we wanted to handle such an important part of our day. Not only were they extremely easy to work with and so personable, they were also super patient with us as we changed our mind from having a formal wedding to a casual elopement with no pictures and back to our formal wedding.

The most impressive thing about Red Apple Tree is how amazing and fast they are! We wanted a few special pictures at a different location for our engagement shoot. Almost as soon as Keith and Crystal arrived, it started pouring. They managed to get some wonderful pictures of us in the thirty seconds they had before the bottom dropped out and we were so impressed with how well they turned out in such a short amount of time. Our wedding pictures were also super quick and we were able to sneak away from the reception and get some amazing sunset photos without anyone even noticing we were gone!

From the price to their technical skill to their ability to make even the shyest of couples comfortable with the camera, we absolutely could not recommend them highly enough! We have heard over and over and over from our bridal party and our guests how amazing they were and how impressed everyone was with our pictures. Red Apple Tree Photography did our engagement photos and this past weekend, our wedding photos. We haven't received the wedding photos yet, but our engagement photos were awesome so we know these will be too. We felt compelled to write the review early because with a 5 out of 5 on weddingwire.com, most of the reviews already tell you how good they are at the photography part of the job. This review is intended to give insight to what truly sets Red Apple Tree Photography apart, in our estimation, from all other photographers.

SImply put: Keith and Crystal. We cannot do justice in words to how awesome these two are (but we're sure going to try). Not only are they great at their job - they managed to be seemingly everywhere at once throughout the whole long day while not being in the way even once - but they are also just the perfect people. They seem to be a genuinely happy couple who have immense love for one another. We cannot explain why this matters, but on a day when you are already a bit nervous and stressed, the warm smiles that never leave their face is an incredibly calming influence. I (the groom) have always felt awkward taking pictures, but with Crystal there smiling (or even making funny faces when necessary) I couldn't help but have a genuine smile on my face that will hopefully show up in the pictures.

We thought it was important to write the review this way because we assume most wedding photographers are good and know what they are doing. However, not all photographers have the genuine warmth and passion for their work that Keith and Crystal emanate. To us, this puts them miles ahead of the competition and we can't recommend them any more whole-heartedly.

Crystal and Keith were absolutely amazing in every way. They went above and beyond from beginning to end. My husband and I didn't have much wedding experience, and they helped us out with some of the logistics. For example, they walked us through the cutting of the cake before taking any pictures to make sure the moment was what we wanted it to be. From the moment they arrived, they were a perfect match for not only my husband and me, but all of the other guests as well. They fit in completely, and actually seemed to add to the experience of the day. Most importantly, we were a little concerned about the possibility of the photographers making the day a little awkward. We were afraid they would overshoot everything, and make things seem staged and uncomfortable. The moment Crystal and Keith began working, we knew that wasn't going to be an issue. It felt so natural...they were friendly, well spoken, clear in their directions, and just made the process so easy and pleasant! It was a lot of fun being involved with them throughout the process. It's funny, because as a couple, we've never been very photogenic. The pictures Crystal and Keith took of us though have us reconsidering that! They turned out perfect. I was absolutely thrilled with the service that my husband and I received with Red Apple Tree Photography. They are such a wonderful team to work with, and they both definitely went above and beyond. I, an out-of-state bride, was trying to plan a wedding with the help of my mother, who was a time-zone away, and my fiance, who is living across the world. To say the least it was a challenging experience, but Crystal and Keith were life savers. They were so patient with me and my family. They were willing to answer all of my questions; they helped develop our wedding schedule; and they even were able to absorb and adjust to some last minute scheduling changes.

My husband and I typically look like awkward zombies in photos, but Crystal and Keith really worked hard to make us feel comfortable in front of the camera, and the photos came out fantastic as a result. Crystal and Keith shot the bridal portrait session and the wedding. I really didn't know what to expect with the bridal session, but they really made me feel beautiful and special, which I think is what every girl is looking for from her bridal session..it's our one chance to be a model! :) As for the wedding, I couldn't have asked for better. I feel like Crystal and Keith understood what we were looking to get out of the day and I think their photos really captured our personalities and portrayed the beautiful, but laid back and fun atmosphere that was our wedding day.

Hiring Keith and Crystal to be our photographers was the easiest and best decision my husband and I made. Unlike many brides, I did not have to stress out about my photographers and how my pictures were going to turn out. Our engagement, bridal and wedding pictures were more than we could ever dreamed of. Keith and Crystal are so incredibly easy to work with. They made my husband and I feel relaxed and like we were on a photo shoot with friends. Not only did they respond in a very timely manner to every email or phone call, they were very flexible with my schedule as a night shift nurse. Their value as professionals and their talent is worth every penny and more.

I cannot not imagine working with anyone other than Keith and Crystal for our wedding photography. From the moment I met them I knew I wanted their eyes to capture this special time in our life. It is clear they are a talented team that has an incredible passion and eye for what they do. I loved creating a relationship with them through engagement photos and bridal portraits. It is clear that they knew us and took photographs that reflect who we are and who our families are. Getting to work with them over the months of our engagement led to them so perfectly capturing the excitement, beauty, love, and joy of our wedding weekend. Crystal and Keith are the most amazing people to work with, hands down. I got married in Greenville on October 4, 2014, at the Old Cigar Warehouse. Living out of state, 800 miles away from the venue and all vendors, seemed a bit daunting at first - but after my first phone call with Crystal, I knew I was making the right decision and that this was all going to be easy. It was more than easy, it was fun and a pleasure to get to know Crystal and Keith.

Crystal and Keith took the time to talk to me over the phone, which I greatly appreciate, responded to my email questions (which I had like 1000), and helped me get an idea for the kinds of photographs I wanted for the wedding. They paid attention to a Pinterest board I set up with images I liked, and got all of them during the wedding (even the ones I forgot about!). The day of the wedding was amazing with them. With no wedding planner, my husband and I were constantly about 30 minutes behind schedule rounding people up and putting them where they needed to be. Those two went with the flow, were so supportive and fun to have around, and still managed to make it all happen. I wasn't a nervous bride (ok, that's a lie), but they made me feel comfortable, happy and fortunate to be surrounded by great people. I love them with all my heart and wish them the best. You should definitely book them, as I'm pretty sure they're two of the best photogs in the upstate. No, South Carolina!

Also, my pictures came in a month after the wedding - which is pretty impressive. :)

Keith and Crystal are a wonderful asset for any bride! They captured our engagement photos and paid close attention to capturing our true personality. I can't even begin to describe how awesome Keith and Crystal are. From the moment I called them, they felt like family and I knew that I HAD to work with them for my wedding. From the start, they were helpful, professional, and FUN! When my DJ cancelled on me, they took the time to suggest new ones to me... despite their super busy schedules. As we got closer to the day, they were very patient and understanding as I changed my mind about the schedule and made several adjustments over the course of a few weeks. Their patience and understanding was so helpful to me. I felt bad for changing my mind a few times, but they didn't let it frustrate them. On the day of the wedding, they helped direct my guests after my wedding coordinator disappeared. Keith stepped up and announced where people were to go and my stress at the moment vanished instantly. At every turn, Keith and Crystal went above and beyond for us. They share their heart and soul with you, and genuinely care about you and capturing the special moments of your day. I never believed people when they say you barely remember your day, so I am thankful that I made the investment in photography with people that I adore. Thank you so much, Crystal and Keith! I am so very thankful for you both!

Keith & Crystal took our engagement & wedding day photos, our wedding photos aren't out yet but don't even need to see them in order to tell you hiring them was hands down one of the best decisions we made. They provide SO much more than just photos. Weddings are stressful, the planning and the actual event, yet these two people I'm sure without even knowing they are doing anything, put a smile back on your face and remind you what your wedding is actually about.

Your wedding photographer will be with you during the moments only those closest to you are there (pre-hair & makeup, getting dressed, before you walk down the aisle, etc) which could be rather awkward since you probably don't know your photographer very well however Keith and Crystal made this process seem like any other day. They were always very professional and took care of business but along the way allowed you to have some fun. I will say we were probably some of their worst models (soft stares into the distance are not an easy thing to pull off) however the memories we have of sharing this experience with them are wonderful.

At the end of the day you need to pick the photographer that best suits you and your personality however if professionalism, fun, and genuinely good people are things that are important to you I'd advise at least meeting with Keith & Crystal. I don't know what it will be but I will 100% find an excuse to hire them again in the future for something, and if you hire them for your wedding (which you should), ENJOY...they rock!

Words can’t describe how happy we were with our experience with Red Apple Tree. Keith and Crystal were nothing short of Amazing! Professionally they did a fantastic job with our pictures both engagement and the wedding. They were everywhere and got pictures of everything and everybody. We just got them back and could not be happier with the results! But beyond that, they are such a pleasure to work with! They go out of their way to make everything as perfect as possible. The only regret we have is we didn't get a picture with them as they turned out to be such a big part of our special day! Absolutely LOVED these guys!!!

I couldn't be more pleased than I am with the amazing service provided by Red Apple Tree Photography! I hired them based on a recommendation from a friend and I have thanked her effusively. Red Apple Tree came to a family getaway my husband and I were hosting at Lake Keowee. The weather was dull and raining, but Keith worked magic with the lighting and you can't even tell! It is impossible to choose a shot because they were ALL wonderful! Crystal worked with my loved ones, made everyone absolutely comfortable and simply brought out the best in all of us. INCREDIBLE TALENT!
Choosing Red Apple Tree Photography was easily the best decision we made for our wedding.
Keith + Crystal have that rare combination of possessing insane talent and being incredibly personal.
They shot both our engagement session and wedding, and the photos are just out of this world. The pair put you at ease and give you pictures you will cherish the rest of your lives. By having two photographers, not a single detail or moment is missed. Just look at their portfolio, the art speaks for itself.
Making two new awesome friends, who genuinely care about your satisfaction, is just icing on the (wedding) cake.
Side note: the business portion is also excellent. They clearly communicate plans, payment, when to expect photos, etc.
We can't say enough good things about working with them. Worth every penny.

I have to admit – I was super nervous about having a bridal portrait done. The very thought brought tears to my eyes due to fear of feeling uncomfortable and looking awkward. If I had any other photographers I may have had reason to fear but Crystal and Keith were amazing from the beginning to the end. Keith explained their partnership best when he described how he is always looking at the stylistic big picture while Crystal looks for the details and is basically like a best girl friend: pushing a hair out of your face or reminding you to push your shoulders back. They instantly relaxed me and made me feel great. I felt like I was taking pictures with friends . . . who just so happened to know exactly how to pose me. I asked them to make me look like I could be in a magazine and they absolutely succeeded.
They continued their general fabulousness at the wedding. They were with my husband and I for 12 hours capturing every bit of our wedding. They are extremely versatile. They were able to take amazing candid shots of me and each my bridesmaids, capture sentimental first look photos, and even wrangle 20 Persians together to take formal extended family shots. They captured every detail.
The1600 + photos turned out fabulously, but when looking at them I couldn’t stand the part in my hair. Irrational – yes – but I suppose everyone has to have a bridzilla moment and I just happened to have mine after my wedding. Keith was able to handle all of my bizarre photos requests: from changing a picture to black and white, to cropping, to editing out a bra strap, to fixing my hair part. I can’t believe I got so lucky such WONDERFUL photographers. Crystal and Keith were the best wedding decision I made.

I am so happy that I picked Red Apple Tree. They went above and beyond! They took my wedding pictures and did my bridal shoot. Crystal and Keith are super nice and easy to work with. I wasn't sure of how to pose for pictures and they showed me where to put my arms and how to stand. I made a Pinterest board with all the pictures I liked, so on my wedding day they printed those and made sure to take the poses/pictures that I wanted. They captured everything I wanted, candid photos, dancing photos, posed photos... We just got our pictures back and they are amazing! And everyone at the wedding said they loved them! :) Extremely pleased with them and would recommend them to everyone! And will continue to use them for future events (baby photos, family photos, etc.) :)

We were fortunate enough to procure them for our engagement session and we are eternally grateful. They are super energetic and lots of fun to work with. Crystal was a very hungry four months pregnant at the time and throughout the entire VERY LENGTHY session was an absolute joy - What a trooper! We can not say enough amazing things about Red Apple Tree Photography. My husband and I didn't have many pictures of ourselves until our Engagement photo session with Keith and Crystal. Crystal and Keith are not only wonderful photographers but amazing people also! They are so much fun and you can really tell they love what they do which only makes their work even better!

Crystal and Keith did our engagement pics for us and we were SO impressed with the results. They are awesome to work with and compliment each other very well. They have great ideas for pictures and when any alterations on photos need to be done (for example a skirt that was maybe a bit too short when sitting), it is fixed immediately and looks perfect. I absolutely recommend Crystal and Keith. They are a truly talented team and we were so happy that we chose them.

For me picking a photographer for my wedding in June was one of the hardest things I did. There are so many photographers out there so how do you pick one? From my first meeting with Keith and Crystal I knew that they were the perfect photographers for me. I loved that there were two photographers always taking pictures so you get two different angles and two different styles. Any picture that you show them they love to recreate for you. At our engagement session they made us feel comfortable by helping us know what to do and the amount of compliments I got about my pictures were unending. Keith and Crystal were always so easy to work with and truly wanted to make sure that they did anything to make sure we loved our picturs. They are so creative and just plain awesome! They give you full day coverage on your wedding day which is incredible because you are never worried about any moment being missed. There are so many things to worry about during your engagement period and on your wedding day, but once I picked Red Apple Tree Photography this was one aspect I never worried about. I couldn't be happier with my engagement pictures, bridal portrait and wedding day pictures. We are so grateful to Crystal & Keith for helping to capture our wedding day so beautifully. Not only were they 100% professional, but also fun, kind, friendly, and truly fit in with our guests and our day. We didn't want someone with fancy camera gear that took great pictures and no perspective. Not only are our wedding pictures beautiful, but each shot has a unique and artsy perspective. Keith and Crystal are very passionate about capturing the "right" picture and beautiful moments, and that comes through in every one of our photos. When we saw our pictures for the first time, we laughed outloud, cried, smiled, and said to each other how lucky we were to have chosen red apple tree.

Our wedding day was very laid back, and not full of meticulous plans. The one thing we knew we had to get right was the photographer. One can never go back and take wedding pictures again, and we were THRILLED with the outcome of our photos. We will be able to cherish beautiful, fun, unique pictures of our day for years to come.

People warned us not to pick a "militant" photographer, who would line everyone up in a bossy way and really take the romance out of things. Keith and Crystal really did feel like guests at our wedding -- they were so much fun and so wonderful. Our friends and family even commented on the fact that they forgot there were two cameras floating around taking pictures of everyone. And when they did talk with our guests, they were so polite and friendly, and people loved getting to know them! It was perfect.

We HIGHLY recommend talking with Keith and Crystal if you need a wedding photographer. They are such a great team, and we are SO grateful to them for being part of our day and giving us such lovely images of our day that we will truly enjoy for a lifetime.

Choosing Red Apple Tree Photography for our wedding was one of the best decisions we could have possibly made. Keith and Crystal were so wonderful and easy to work with for the entire process. Before we even selected them for our wedding, they drove almost 2 hours to meet us for coffee and talk to us in person about what we wanted out of our wedding photography. During the wedding, they were so accommodating of what we needed, making sure they got the best possible photos while letting us enjoy our day how we wanted. And the pictures are AMAZING! I found Red Apple Tree while searching for vendors local to South Carolina. I am from Baltimore and had no idea who to contact for photography. When I saw some of the beautiful pictures posted on line, I added Red Apple Tree to my possible vendors.

Those pictures don't tell HALF of the incredible story behind Red Apple Tree Photography. After I spoke with Crystal on the phone for the first time, I knew it had to be Red Apple Tree at my wedding taking pictures. You simply will never find another photographer who can compare.

Crystal and Kieth both have an incredible perspective, an artful and sensitive eye,a fresh enthusiasm, and an unending depth of talent. Additionally, their grace, "bedside manner," and personalities are exactly what you are looking for while being photographed during this special time.

They both went FAR above and beyond what they were hired to do and did it all with a benevolent and genuine smile. It would have been an absolute crime to have had any other photographers at my wedding beside these two incredible artists.

There is a long standing joke regarding my husband and his inablity to be photographed well. He always looks like an alien on film. (He says he looks like Herman Munster) Keith and Crystal took so many great pictures of him that we forgot that he is not photogenic.

I will wax poetic about Red Apple Tree Photography for the rest of my life, and I'll have the pictures to prove why.

Without a doubt, one of the best vendor decisions I made during my wedding planning process. Crystal and Keith made the photography process painless, professional and fun. We couldn't be happier with the end result from both our engagement photos and wedding photos. They took SO MANY pictures and you get to keep them all! We didn't have to worry about being charged per hour, or per photo. One flat rate - which happened to be the most reasonable pricing we found in our venfor research. Quality was not sacrificed. Absolutely LOVE Crystal and Keith and loved having them be a part of our special day. They are THE BEST!!!!!

We had the best experience ever at our engagement shoot! Crystal and Keith made us feel very comfortable and we had a really good time. They were so helpful and attentive to all our requests. We would definitely recommend them for photography services. The pictures came out beautiful!

The first time I talked to Crystal about being interested in Red Apple Tree, I knew they were the perfect photographers for our wedding. Crystal and Keith did an absolutely fantastic job photographing our wedding and accommodating to our wants! The photographs are beautiful and I've received innumerable compliments on them. On top of that Keith and Crystal were absolutely marvelous to work with. They were the perfect mix of laid back and on top of things. They did their jobs professionally with a great friendly attitude. I couldn't have asked for more.

They where so amazing they new how to catch all the perfect moment of our big day they also did our engagement pictures and when we have our first baby they will be there to catch those moment also. Keith & Crystal are absolutely amazing!! We had a destination wedding so we were unable to have an engagement session with them, but you would never have known it! They stepped in to our day like they were our best friends and made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Crystal is just lovely and so helpful and accommodating. Keith is smart, sweet and silly in such a wonderful way. Together they create magic. They make you feel like you are the only couple they are dealing with & we even received a little wedding video, before our gallery was up, that I've watched about a thousand times :). The two of them seem very in love so they get how special your day is and they capture it beautifully!! We highly recommend Red Apple Tree Photography!!! They are the best!!
