Flowers of my dreams!

Rebecca worked absolute magic! I had a specific vision for my flowers, but didn't exactly know how I wanted to execute on it. She delivered above and beyond my expectations, transforming our venue into an elegant but whimsically enchanted forest. It truly took my breath away! On top of all this, she was so easy to work with, responding very quickly to emails and walking us through pricing when we had questions. I can't recommend her enough!

Above and beyond experience!

We were so happy with all of vendors for our wedding, but Rebecca truly went above and beyond! She was open to our inspiration photos, answered any questions we had about what to expect, and helped guide us to something absolutely beautiful. When I had initially given her the inspiration for the ceremony, I figured it was completely unrealistic for our budget, but we were so completely blown away by what she and her team created. We also got to see a sneak peak of the tables before everyone was brought in for dinner, and it felt we were transported into something out of a movie. Every floral arrangement we passed we had to stop to take it all in. It was so beautiful to see all of the different plants/flowers we had never seen before, and we were so impressed by the way she was able to make everything look so free and natural, while also looking like a piece of art; exactly what we had hoped for!

We had so many people come up to us to compliment the floral arrangements and decorations, and we 100% recommend Rebecca for any event you’re planning!

Rebecca went above & beyond!

Rebecca was an absolute dream come true for our wedding! Her creativity and dedication truly shone through in every floral arrangement and piece of decor, capturing a gorgeous November palette and adding a romantic touch that left our guests RAVING all night. She was incredibly accommodating to both my requests and those of my family, seamlessly blending beautiful fabrics into the decor to honor my Indian wedding. Rebecca's professionalism and effort went above & beyond, making our special day unforgettable. Pick Rebecca Every Time!!!

I don't have a good creative eye so my number one priority once we picked a venue was to pick my perfect florist and let them decide the mood, tone, direction, etc etc. I spoke to sooooooo many wonderful florists, but didn't feel everything click together just perfectly until I spoke to Rebecca. From our very first phone call, I knew she was it for us. She was so professional, kind, and understanding throughout our covid-related reschedule and checked in from time to time during the lull to discuss new ideas or let us know fun stuff about our flowers which was so appreciated. When the day finally came, we were blown away with what she and her team created - it was everything we wanted and more. We got so many compliments, especially on our statement pieces. We also worked with Rebecca's team to repurpose our florals into our brunch venue the next day and we are SO glad we did - not only for another chance to admire them but they made them look brand new and even a little different so it was fresh! Florals are such a big investment so we're so happy we kept looking until we found Rebecca and we'd recommend her to anybody & everybody!!!

Loved Rebecca!

We just got married this month and worked with Rebecca to have our floral decorations ready and it could not have gone better. She was incredibly professional and made everything super easy. She responded to my messages super fast and only needed me to send a few photos of what I was thinking for color, types of flowers, etc. to put together incredible arrangements. She was also so flexible when we asked to add a few more arrangements when our guest count changed. Cannot recommend Rebecca and her team enough!

Fast & Flexible, Gorgeous & Impressive Output!!

I did that terrible thing of waiting to book flowers until the last minute. While we knew we were going to keep our floral arrangements to a minimum (basically bouquets & some standing centerpieces), we still had specific ideas for how to execute our vision, and Rebecca Shepherd came through!

She and her team immediately put my mind at ease, providing creative options and working with us on budget, timing, and delivery. My husband and I were blown away with what she and her team were able to produce, and we'd highly recommend her and her team to others!

Exquisite flowers and a pleasure to work with!

I could not recommend Rebecca Shepherd Floral Design more highly. She was the best vendor I worked with throughout the wedding planning process. The flowers at my wedding blew me away and weeks later, guests are still raving about them. Not only are Rebecca and her team supremely talented and artistic, they were also from start to finish a pleasure to work with, and incredibly organized, responsive, and helpful. In our first consultation Rebecca spent time to really get to know us as a couple and the vibe we wanted for the wedding. She suggested incredible florals and provided direction when we weren't sure what we wanted. She held a sample meeting for us where she spent time discussing every detail of our florals to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. She also went above and beyond when - about 2 weeks before our wedding - she realized the branches we had chosen for our centerpieces were starting to bloom differently. To make sure we were still happy with them she took the time to personally go to the floral market and create a new sample for us to come in to see at no charge. I think it is a testament to how dedicated and invested Rebecca is to her work that she personally showed up the day of the wedding to put everything together with her team. This was yet another example of how Rebecca attends to and invests in every detail. I cannot thank Rebecca and her team enough for making my wedding so beautiful and memorable. Amazing and an Absolute Pleasure!

Rebecca and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with. We went in with some general ideas of what we wanted, but largely deferred to Rebecca’s judgment on what would work best with our color scheme and the venue (Bowery Hotel). She is a true artist and brought a lot of creativity to the process to ensure our flowers were unique and beautiful. All of the arrangements she created for us—from the mantle, to the tables and other display pieces-- were absolutely stunning. We received countless compliments on how incredible the flowers were. We couldn’t have been happier and would highly recommend working with Rebecca.

Rebecca and her team make magic, literally! Working with Rebecca and her team was an exciting and flawless process from start to finish. She is an artist and is able to bring any vision or space to life. We went in not knowing exactly what we wanted but she was able to sort through my Pintrest pages and tell me what my floral vibe" was. Following this vision she created a floral extravaganza which amazed me and my guests. As details became clearer she edited the proposal time and time again with our exact dresses, seating chart, etc to really draw out what they day would like like ahead of time. We had a mixture of high and low pieces with various candle fixtures. Each table was like a piece of art and guests have not stopped commenting on the dynamic florals. Rebecca and her team also had many ideas for the entrance/table seating chart and brought this to life. Everyone we dealt with at the shop and the day of the wedding was professional, detail oriented, helpful and happy. It really seems like the team enjoys the work and each other and this shows. From one happy bride to future brides, work with Rebecca Shepard Floral and you won't be disappointed. Her skill is evident and you can hand over creative authorship to her and have one fewer thing to stress about with wedding planning. Prices are comparable to other neighborhood florists but the quality of the work is far superior. Thanks Rebecca and team!!

Searching for a florist for our wedding was one of the hardest tasks during the planning process. Most florists we came across either did not provide the style of arrangements we were looking for or were out of our budget. We were so excited when we found Rebecca Shepherd Floral Design! Not only were the arrangements we saw online exactly what we were looking for, but they also provide a great value. The arrangements on our wedding day were stunning. Even my husband, who does not care much about flowers, commented on how beautiful they looked. We worked with Andree, who was able to create exactly what we had in mind, despite my rather vague description. She also responded to my emails within 24 hours, and was very helpful during the planning process. Highly recommend!

I was beyond impressed by the flowers Rebecca & her team provided for my July wedding and the night before for our rehearsal dinner. I met with Andree nearly a year before our big day, and we worked closely together every step of the way. Andree was beyond patient with me as we worked through revisions to the proposal & design throughout that time. The flowers were absolutely stunning, beyond what I could have imagined (even having done a mock up for one of the arrangements!)! and we’ve continued to receive compliments from our guests on how beautiful the flowers were as well! I was obsessed with my bouquet and was admiring it even until the next morning. I couldn’t have been happier and would highly recommend, I know I will certainly be looking for excuses to stop by the shop in the future!

Words cannot do justice to the gorgeous work Rebecca did for our wedding in June 2017. I wanted a traditional wedding and Rebecca gave me what I wanted, but wowed me at the same time. Her exquisite work took the feeling of our wedding to the next level. It felt ethereal. Additionally, all the accessories she used like the vases, candle holders, etc. were beautiful! When I first met Rebecca I didn't have a specific vision for the florals. I knew I wasn't going to have a color scheme, or a theme for my wedding and I wanted florals that would be original, not so wedding-esque. Rebecca delivered! Even when I didn't have a vision she made tablescapes during our first meeting to help hone the design and figure out a perfect look. Every floral at the wedding contributed to a magical and romantic environment that I just could not have imagined on my own. Almost every single guest complimented the flowers as well. I highly, highly recommend working with Rebecca for any event.

Rebecca and her team were the best! The florals she created for our wedding were incredibly beautiful and unique and the entire team was very professional in set-up and breakdown.

My husband and I liked Rebecca from the instant we met her- I felt like she immediately got the vibe that we were going for with the wedding and then she was very responsive via email and phone to make sure she really understood our likes and dislikes. She had me come in for a really helpful "samples" meeting to review a potential centerpiece but I wasn't entirely sure how everything would come together on a larger scale- I was blown away when I saw the venue on our wedding day. She created an environment that was even more perfect than I could have imagined.

I would highly recommend working with Rebecca- she was the first vendor we sought out after seeing pictures of her work and reading about other couples' experiences working with her. Working with her was one of the best decisions we made during our planning process!

My husband and I are so happy that we decided to go with Rebecca for our flowers; we knew from the start that flowers and music were the two most important things to us and we are very picky people. Rebecca and I bonded instantly, as our first meeting I knew that she understood me and knew exactly what I was going for. My style is not your typical and I was shocked that she took what was in my head and made it a reality. She nailed it! Not only is she an expert in this field of work, she is a wonderful person to work with. Rebecca is smart, creative and very professional. There wasn't a moment that she put doubt on our minds, she is extremely responsive and very upfront about cost and alternatives. We had a fairly specific vision for flowers at our wedding which Rebecca not only understood and executed but also made more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. We met with 3 other florists before Rebecca and straight away felt she was the perfect match for us. The effort, attention and involvement Rebecca put into our first meeting blew us away. After our meeting we felt no need to further explain our vision or had any concerns about how the florals may turn out. The bouquet, wristlets, boutonnieres, ceremony pieces and table designs were stunning and perfect. We are so grateful we found Rebecca.

Rebecca is flexible, talented, ridiculously good at what she does, and a pleasure to work with. I used Rebecca for my small wedding of ~100 guests at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden this spring. When my mother and I met with Rebecca, I mentioned some flowers that I like, colors that I do and don't like and showed her a few photos on pinterest. I LOVED what she delivered even beyond my own high expectations. My table arrangements looked perfect, my bouquet was perfect, everything was lush and beautiful and vibrant and we received tons of compliments from our guests. You will not regret hiring Rebecca for your wedding florals - bottom line is that Rebecca is amazing at what she does, reliable, and extremely easy to work with.

Rebecca Shepherd delivered unique, remarkable florals for our ceremony: bridal bouquets and floral pins for lapels, and gowns, a sweet floral crown for the flower girl, a special hair comb for my Mom, and a traditional Indian garland for my father. The entire event space, including colonnades, tables, and the birch tree ceremony space were woven with bright, lovely colors adding a softness and sense of spring. She was timely, meticulous, and easy to work with. We could not have asked for anything more. 5 Stars!

Rebecca and her team were the best choice for our wedding day. Everything was beautiful I was overwhelmed with joy every time I saw the flowers and candles. From the bouquets arriving at the house, to walking towards the arrangements on the church altar, and walking into the Liberty Warehouse, I was so happy with how everything came out. Her designs were stunning and everyone has ceaselessly commented on how much they sculpted the space in the reception. We really lucked out with Rebecca!

We live around the corner from Rebecca's studio and decided to inquire when we started planning our small wedding. Rebecca was extremely flexible and understanding from the very start and helped us customize a floral package that suited our needs. I was asked to create a Pinterest board with photos of what I envisioned for our wedding, which was both fun and super helpful for communicating back and forth about ideas. Rebecca is passionate about her craft and it shows in her work. I can't wait to see the photos and share how beautiful they turned out!

Rebecca is absolutely amazing and one of the most talented vendors we worked with. From the card table arrangements down to the boutonnieres, it was absolutely gorgeous and smelled amazing! We first met with Rebecca a little less than a year out from our wedding with just a few inspo images and she took our vision and ran with it. Everything she designed came out so much more gorgeous than anything we expected. I feel like she has a way of getting a great sense of what a person is looking for and their style and is able to execute perfectly. Hands down one of the best investments we made! Rebecca is the coolest floral designer. She listens to what you want and uses her expertise to make it perfect! My husband and I were blown away by the work she did to make our venue a literal wildflower fantasy world. I don't even have the words to describe accurately how I feel. Finding a florist was the last check box on the list of vendors. I had done some research around Brooklyn and Manhattan, but the people I was finding were too costly or just not understanding my vision. That is until I met Rebecca Shepherd. I was introduced to Rebecca by my wedding planner, Amy Shey Jacobs of Chandelier Events and the second I stepped into Rebecca's space, we had instant bride and florist chemistry.

Amy and Rebecca also worked so well together and when Amy and I described our vision to Rebecca, a Tuscany meets New York vibe, she took my dream and make it even more spectacular than I could have imagined.

I am a chef of Italian decent, so I wanted food to play a part in the theme of my wedding. Instead of tall floral center pieces, Rebecca suggested we do large olive branches. She put artichokes and herbs in other centerpieces and incorporated all of the colors I suggested while coming up with brilliant ideas on her own.

I got married at the Liberty Warehouse and she took this incredible space up a notch. I didn't want to get married in the upstairs space, but I had over 250 people at my wedding, so it was up to Rebecca and Amy to turn the white space into something magical and they truly did just that.

Everything from the candles around the room, to the escort card table (which was a Rebecca Shepherd masterpiece), to a floral adorned bike, to the incredible chuppah.... it all came together thanks to Rebecca Shepherd.

The best part was that she really worked her tail off to make my dream come true AND stick to my budget, which wasn't always easy at times. That meant so much to me because I was still able to have a most beautiful wedding in a price range that I could afford.

I could seriously go on and on.... she incorporated so many of my personal touches into the wedding without going overboard or overcharging. I absolutely loved working with her and I would HIGHLY recommend hiring her for your next event!

Rebecca was by far my favorite vendor and someone I would work with a million times over. She is extremely professional, but also very intuitive and "got me" and my mother from the moment we met. She worked with us throughout the entire process to ensure the wedding looked just as we wanted and did not stop until it did. I knew that with my mother's vision and Rebecca's passion and commitment to delivering I would have the wedding of my dreams, and I did. She rocked it. Our guests still talk about the "wow factor" and how impressive the venue, my bouquet and the ceremony space looked weeks later.

I never once doubted that the flowers would be the highlight of the event because I could tell from day 1 how committed Rebecca is and how much she loves what she does. She is very creative and very resourceful and is with you every step of the way. Even though we changed things around and added last minute details and requests, Rebecca was never annoyed by our on-going visits, calls and emails. On the contrary, she consistently reminded us that she wanted to "get it right" and make sure we were happy with the outcome, and we were.

She is the essence of cool, calm and collected both personally and professionally, which comes in handy during the process. Every bride knows it is all about the flowers, and Rebecca knows it too.

Aaah, the florals from Rebecca were AMAZING for our wedding. They were my favorite part of the entire wedding decor/look. Rebecca was referred to me from my event planner and soon after meeting with her I decided to move forward with her. I did not evaluate a lot of vendors (it's part of the reason I decided to use a planner), and I'm so happy we worked with Rebecca for our event. We held the wedding at a loft space in NYC so there was a lot of blank space and room for creativity. I gave Rebecca somewhat limited direction (lots of greenery, somewhat wild, but still sophisticated) and she KILLED it. Beyond the centerpieces, bouquets and boutonnieres Rebecca constructed a welcome wreath for us as well as an amazing hanging structure for our altar. Both absolutely wowed everyone there. In addition to the flowers Rebecca was great on-site, ensuring we had a plan for things like votives and other decor. I fully trusted her to do her thing and couldn't have been happier with the results. She's just a great person to work with and talk to - lots of fun, but knows her stuff and delivers beautiful work. Rebecca Shepherd is as good as it gets. She is a wonderful person to work with, listens to what you desire, pays close attention to detail, and she has a very special talent in floral and design. Everyone who went to our wedding (everyone who saw our photos), said it was the most beautiful wedding they'd ever seen - and this wouldn't have been possible without Rebecca. Bringing originally, beauty and creativity to all of her arrangements, she listens to her clients and somehow perfectly captures the mood that matches their vision. Last but not least, Rebecca was amazing to work with. So patient and so kind. She always got back to us, and went out of our way to make sure our big day was perfect. Hiring Rebecca for any event, ESPECIALLY a wedding, is a no-brainer. I had a sense of what I like but not a specific vision, and she was the ultimate resource for proverbially tying my thoughts together with beautiful bows. I absolutely could not have envisioned a more stunning room than that which she created. I wanted the atmosphere to be warm and romantic, with a cool vintage vibe. It was a December wedding at Liberty Warehouse in Brooklyn - guests are still commenting on how remarkably striking it was. It is rad venue, but she topped it off with the WOW factor! And through all her hard work putting it together, she could not have been more helpful, professional, kind, patient, and just wonderful to work with. She's good people, has impeccable taste, and working with her was one of my favorite parts of wedding planning! I easily asked her to make many decisions for me, based on what she felt would look best, and she perfected every detail. And when I wanted something more precise, she nailed it as well. I simply cannot recommend Rebecca enough. When I came to her to do my wedding flowers with only a vague understanding of what I wanted (blush color palette, garden-like, a bit wild), she was able to interpret (a thousand times better than I could) what I actually wanted, and ended up giving me so much more. It was her suggestion to add a small pop of burgundy to the color palette, which made our arrangements stand out in such a gorgeous way. Our bouquets and small corsages were simply perfect - everyone was so impressed with them and I received compliments the entire night. I found out only later that because our tent was so hot during the set up of our wedding that Rebecca spent hours spritzing the arrangements to make sure they stayed fresh for the evening. If one flower wilted during the course of our 85 degree night, I don't think anyone noticed, but it's this level of care that she puts into her work that I think really sets her apart from other florists. If you can book her, do it, because booking her was one of my best decisions for my wedding.

Rebecca had an uncanny ability to encapsulate our aestthetic into her arrangements. She put together breathtaking tablescapes and beautiful field flower arrangements that adorned our tables and the trellis for our ceremony.

Rebecca was, bar none, the best vendor I've ever worked with in planning any event. Not only is she incredibly talented (you need only look at her website for proof of this), but she is also the most thoughtful, understanding, helpful, and hard-working vendor out there. She crafted an online inspiration book for us, answered any and all questions I had within usually 24 hours, and she even spoke with me on the phone numerous times to flesh out my sometimes haphazard ideas with patience and care. At one point she even offered to go to the floral market the morning OF my wedding (IE at 6 AM) to change out the whole set of centerpiece flowers because I had second thoughts about the look of them against the table cloths. This all goes to say she is amazing. She is truly passionate about her work and she got me excited about it too. She went above and beyond for the cocktail centerpieces (and above and beyond what we paid her to do) because she was inspired by her creations. What other vendor does that??? I don't know many people like Rebecca. I know she had us in mind the entire time and she just planned our wedding flowers with precision, care, and focus. People raved about the cocktail and reception centerpieces (I mean RAVED). Walking into my reception was everything I could have imagined and more. She turned my dream wedding into a reality, and she had a warmth, glow, and friendliness about her while doing it. My bouquets were stunning, everything was stunning. Seriously, Rebecca is amazing, and I wouldn't recommend any vendor more. If ever I get to throw another party, she's top on my list.

Wow! Rebecca's talent is unmatchable! Her floral designs are absolutely stunning and her ideas with respect to the decor to create the look I wanted were creative, elegant, romantic and beautiful, exactly what I was looking for and perfect for our winter white wedding full of branches, white flowers, tree stumps, candles, lanterns and centerpieces. Walking down the aisle to the gorgeous branch arbor she created was like walking in the woods in the winter. Rebecca is not only incredibly talented but is extremely professional, super responsive, warm and kind. She goes above and beyond in many ways. For example, when she went to the market to buy/order our flowers, she saw some white quince branches in bloom that we didn't account for in our contract but because she thought they would be perfect for our wedding, she went ahead and purchased them anyway. When my husband and I initially started thinking about flowers, we had only a vague idea of what we wanted for our wedding. We knew we wanted different; we knew we wanted kind of fallish but not over-the-top; we knew how much we wanted to spend; and we knew, above all else, that we wanted a floral designer who was reliable. After meeting with a few florists, the choice was obvious-- Rebecca, absolutely.

Through loads and emails back and forth, Rebecca helped me to hone in on a "look." Over the course of my engagement, we emailed many times. Rebecca was always friendly, helpful, and flexible when it came to adding or deleting things from our initial agreement. Then, a few weeks before the big day, we met up again and selected beautiful and unique props for our centerpieces (books, oil lamps, votives, etc), and we were set! I was totally excited. I knew we were going to have the most gorgeous wedding!

A thing I learned about wedding planning is that you can envision and envision, but you never really know what your wedding will look like until you actually see it in person.

When Rebecca arrived that morning with my bouquets and decor I realized that she understood my vision better than I understood it myself. I have never had a person know what I wanted more than I knew! Every single thing that she came with was outstanding, BY FAR exceeding my expectations (which were high!). I was completely blown away. Rebecca delivered more than she promised, throwing a few extra flowers in places I didn't even expect to see them (a few around our card box, for example)! They totally tied our whole aesthetic together. It was just beautiful.

I do not have enough good words to say about Rebecca Shepherd and everyone she works with. If you are looking for a floral designer in Brooklyn, you will not be disappoint. Amazing, amazing, amazing

Where do I begin? Two weeks after our wedding, my flowers still bring tears to my eyes at how perfect they were when I look at the pictures. Everything from our ceremony space to the memory table to the reception tables to the bouquets and boutonnieres will be my most favorite part of our whole day. What Rebecca described as "Frenchy Rock n' Roll" got us and our style down to a "T." With our love of all things French and vintage with that rock n' roll edge, Rebecca created a wonderland of visual florals that only leaves me saying, I felt like the luckiest girl ever to walk into that room and see the transformation Rebecca had created. I am a bride who will always remember the way the flowers looked and smelled, the detail and care that went into every opened petal, every burning oil lamp, every baby breath, every crystal draped from our wish tree, every flickering teal taper candle and every strategically placed vintage book on those tables. Rebecca is beyond a talented florist. She "sees" and "reads" people to create things that they haven't even thought of in their wildest dreams. I feel so fortunate to have worked with her and every meeting and conversation from the jump was a pleasure and joy. I cannot rave about her enough, as a vendor and as a person. It was such a joy to work with Rebecca on our wedding. She's impeccably organized, professional and prepared, easy to talk to, and has the rare ability to glean what you envision your wedding to look like even when you can't exactly express it.

Our venue was a restaurant housed in a 19th-century brownstone. It has a minimalist aesthetic, with very little decor and lots of white space. Rebecca made it just pop with gorgeous color. The tablescapes she created with bell jars and bud vases were exquisite, and filled with vibrant orchids, anemones, ranunculus, moss and succulents. It was so marvelous and whimsical – I felt as though fairies would fly out of the blooms.

Rebecca also pitched the idea of doing a birch pole back drop for our ceremony in the backyard. I hadn't put too much thought into ceremony flowers, and I can't express how grateful I am that she suggested it. It was so romantic, and will look absolutely phenomenal in our photos.

Our guests couldn't stop complimenting our flowers. I thought one friend put it best when she described everything as "majestically beautiful."

I believe that the most important thing you take away from your wedding day is how it felt, and not necessarily how it looked. However, what Rebecca created visually only enhanced the absolute joy and love I experienced during those few hours.

Rebecca makes magic happen. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Rebecca Shepherd was the very first vendor that we booked - The minute I stumbled upon her website (thankfully!) I knew that she was the florist that I wanted to work with for our wedding. Her floral arrangements are unique, timeless, romantic, vintage, and modern all wrapped into one! She has her own unique flair that is totally recognizable as being off the charts amazing every time - I have never seen another florist do what she does. When we met I told her about our color tones and things that had caught my eye, and she immediately began an online album for us with pictures and ideas for flowers based on what I liked. We continued to add to the album throughout the planning process. I should note that I know nothing about flowers, but she completely understood what I wanted right off the bat. I knew that her work was beautiful, but when I saw our reception room for the first time the flowers truly took my breath away. The attention to detail was absolutely incredible. The arrangements blew everything I had envisioned in my mind right out of the water. When I think about my favorite element and/or vendor of our wedding, I have to say it was the flowers. Rebecca is so creative and inspired. Friends and family could not stop gushing about the arrangements, the holders, the colors, the textures... Everyone took photos and everyone was stunned.

We met with Rebecca at her studio and we instantly clicked. It felt as though we'd been friends for years. I selected photos of her work in which I adored the colors, or the textures, or the vases, etc. We talked about personalities and things that make us click. Things in general that we like (not even pertaining to flowers, but just things in life). During the meeting she brainstormed and grabbed a few vases and candlesticks and we agreed they were cool. We had quite a bit of back and forth via email about extras like table runners, or aisle adorments, but we didn't talk about actual flowers or what any of it would actually look like. Somehow this felt totally fine and we knew we were in very capable hands. When we arrived at the venue our jaws dropped. It was as if we'd gone over every detail with her, it was THAT PERFECT. Everything. I know this seems silly, but it was so perfect that I felt an emotional connection to it.

Rebecca never made us feel embarrassed about our budget or lack there-of. Our venue took up most of our money and we nearly went without flowers because of it. She honored our budget and never pushed us toward things that would increase the price. She told us about them, so we were well aware, and in the end we did add more things that put us over budget, but those decisions were completely ours alone.

I can't wait for our professional photos to come back so I can see Rebecca's gorgeous work all over again. She is a mind-reader, a flower-whisperer, and a complete and utter genius.

We were so fortunate to have the pleasure of working with Rebecca Shepherd for our wedding recently. Rebecca is an artist and created lush and beautiful floral pieces that perfectly accented our outdoor wedding at Prospect Park in Brooklyn.

I don't know much about flowers, but I showed her what I liked and she was able to put together an overall style and look for our wedding day. Her knowledge of the venue was so helpful and she was able to create pieces that accented the venue flawlessly. She created a garland of hops to decorate the chain enclosures that bordered the small lake in the park we were on and it was a complete show stopper. I have never seen anything like this and it was all her idea. The flower crown she created for me was jaw dropping. I received endless compliments on it. It was so unique and perfect. Rebecca was so flexible and open to all kinds of ideas and looks. She keeps a Google + folder for all of your inspiration photos and was great about adding new things. Rebecca Shepherd is a gem and we are thrilled to have had her as part of our day.

I cannot recommend Rebecca Shepard highly enough for floral arrangements for any special event. She is incredibly professional, creative, and highly organized. My initial meeting with her resulted in an online ‘book’ of ideas for flowers that I was able to look through and then discuss with her, whittling down the ideas to my eventual floral plan for my wedding. She has an eye for beautiful arrangements, and can be as traditional or as creatively modern as you want. She also has amazing props (birdcages, suitcases, etc.) that can add some character to your event. But, most importantly, she listens to everything you tell her, and makes copious notes. For me, her attention to detail resulted in a lovely surprise at my bridal shower, where my late-grandmother’s favorite flower (a gardenia) was highlighted in a touching arrangement, thanks to a behind-the-scenes conversation between her and my maid-of-honor. And, sitting next to me at my seat at the reception was a beautiful, single gardenia – a touching surprise from Rebecca, letting my grandmother be there in spirit for my wedding day. Thank you Rebecca, for making my wedding beautiful, and for being such a thoughtful person – your touching gift to me was unforgettable.

Rebecca is a true artist, incredibly professional, and a wonderful lady. She deserves ten stars.
She and her team (thank you Vincent!) transformed the venue where we got married, Housing Works Bookstore Cafe, into a dreamy, elegant, magical space. I knew the decor would be stunning based on her portfolio, but the tablescapes she created were even more breathtaking than I had anticipated. Everybody raved about her floral decorations. My bouquet was also lovely.

Unlike any of the other florists with whom I communicated to get quotes, Rebecca invited us to meet in person at her studio in South Slope to talk about possibilities. I did not have a color scheme for the wedding, only vague ideas about colors for the flowers and a wish for the space to be elegant and whimsical, and had a slightly conflicted idea of what I wanted -- romantic and vintage, or modern? To make things a little trickier, my fiance wasn't even sure that we should hire a floral designer, because of our budget. Rebecca read some of my hesitations and ambivalence very accurately during our chat, was incredibly patient, and at the end the design crystallized beautifully thanks to her suggestions. Our 8-footers and 12-footers were decorated with a very chic mix of small vessels with high and low floral arrangements, and mercury glass votives.

Rebecca worked fully within our (relatively "low", for NYC weddings) budget, and actually gave me the best quote by far out of three floral designers I contacted. After the first meeting we communicated via email, Google docs, phone, and even text message. She had a huge wedding coming up just two days before ours, but despite that was very responsive about all our queries. I really appreciated how helpful she was with many of our anxious questions and requests. Her designs were a highlight of our wedding -- and for the record, my husband is absolutely thrilled we hired Rebecca in the end. Wholeheartedly recommended!

I had an incredible experience working with Rebecca on flowers for my wedding. She exceeded my expectations in every way I could think of. Any bride that chooses to work with Rebecca will have the flowers of her dreams.

First, Rebecca was professional, organized and my most punctual vendor. I want to emphasize these qualities because even when a vendor is very talented, they are often lacking in some of these qualities, which are essential when planning a wedding that requires so much coordination. I met Rebecca in her shop/office, which is set up to truly service clients. After seeing her vast portfolio, I knew that she was the florist I wanted. Additionally, during my months of planning, I never had to wait more than a few hours for a response to a question or request.

Secondly, Rebecca is unbelievably talented. I was extremely indecisive with the flowers and arrangements that I wanted. Rebecca was able to take the ideas I had and create magical centerpieces that were more than I could have ever wished for. Weeks before my wedding, I still could not decide on how I wanted my bridesmaids' and my own bouquets to look. Rebecca took the time out of her morning to meet me at the flower market, showing me her ideas for flowers in person, which finally gave me the confidence and certainty I needed. This really shows how much Rebecca cares about making every client happy. When I walked into the reception room on the day of my wedding, I was blown away with how beautiful the centerpieces looked. My guests are still talking about my flowers.

Having very little floral knowledge, my husband and I really weren't sure what we were looking for. We had a "vibe" and a color scheme. Then came Rebecca. From the moment we met her, we just knew she was the one to bring our personality to life through the arrangements at our wedding. I felt like she actually "got" what we were looking for, was able to easily show us examples that fit our style and was very flexible with our budget.

Working with her during the planning process was fantastic. She was responsive, professional and just such a joy to work with. We communicated using shared google documents, photo albums etc., to share inspiration, color samples and styles. All of her hard work and attention to detail was very clear on the day of our wedding. The arrangements were stunning, right down to the tiny details like the burlap and twine wrap. We got so many compliments and I would recommend her to anyone looking for floral design, regardless of the occasion.

I wish I could leave 10 stars (not just 5) for Rebecca. She was absolutely the highlight of my wedding -- honestly I think her flowers looked better than I did! Rebecca outdid even our highest expectations. She is very sincerely a floral genius -- she has a magical sense for texture and color that literally makes you want to gush. I was especially blown away by how Rebecca used her intuition to deal with two tricky situations:

1) I had no idea how to describe what I wanted. I don't think I really knew what I wanted, but I pointed to flowers that I liked and to ones that I didn't, and somehow Rebecca just got it. She compiled an extremely helpful online photo album, and we commented back and forth to get the colors, types of flowers, and composition just right.

2) My mom and I couldn't quite agree on the colors. Mom insisted on purple and orange together, and I was worried it would clash. Rebecca listened carefully to what each of us was looking for, and both my mom and I were blown away with the final result. She perfectly nailed it -- we had rich, lush oranges and purples that created a warm vibe, and it definitely did not clash. In fact, I was completely obsessed with my bouquet....it was so ME, even though Rebecca had only met me once or twice before! All of the flowers were so rich with both bold colors and soft yet crisp textures. 3 months later, I am still jealous of whoever got to take it home.

The floral displays, the corsages, the girls' bouquets, the men's flowers -- it was all just exquisite. So beautifully done. Lovely little details like ribbon around the bouquets, held by pins; the tulip leaves hiding the "mechanics" of the gorgeous square-vased table decorations; she even made a gorgeous "tree" decor made from whimsical branches and orchids, which she attached individually by hand. Rebecca is honestly a flower genius, and her flowers were the most important part of the whole celebration. I could just gush forever.

Rebecca is absolutely amazing, 5/5 stars seems unfair, I wish I could giver her more!! She is an absolute pleasure to work with- organized, creative, super responsive, unique, elegant, and on and on. Our flowers were exceptional- I feel like everyone thinks their flowers are the "perfect" flowers but ours really were just that- perfect. I loved absolutely everything about them and we are stil receiving compliments on how beautiful everything was. I should also point out that I am an engineer so describing floral arrangements is not my strong suit! Rebecca was SO accommodating and helpful while I fumbled around with books and embarrassingly asked "what is a succulent!" As someone who needed some hand holding through the process and who was unclear on what I wanted, Rebecca was able to navigate trough my likes and nailed it! She even incorporated aspects of both my husband's career and my own into the floral arrangements. On top of being an insanely talented florist, she is also an extremely talented jewelry maker! She made my jewelry as well as beck laces for my mom, grandmother, mother in law, sister in law and all of my bridesmaids and, much like her flowers, her jewelry is exceptional. Book your flowers and jewelry with Rebecca, it will be the best decision you make during your wedding planning.

Both my wife and I are designers, and therefore, had very high expectations for the floral arrangements at our wedding. When we stumbled upon Rebecca's portfolio, we were immediately impressed by the honest artistic sensibilities on display. Rebecca has the talent and passion to allow the natural beauty and elegance of her flowers to shine through, seemingly adhering to the ideology that truly well crafted design lies not in what you add, but what you do not.
From our initial meeting, we knew that we wanted to allow Rebecca as much creative freedom as an artist as she was comfortable taking. We gave our two cents, which in all honesty was more confusing than helpful, and trusted Rebecca to create arrangements that she not only thought we would love, but that she would be proud of as well. We simply told her that we wanted her to have some fun and to be excited, because as creatives we understand that such an attitude always yields a better product. Much to her credit, the final result was far beyond our expectations, as she created a whimsical narrative in our venue, upon which we received endless comments and compliments throughout the evening. The flowers were gorgeous, and the her demeanor was a breathe of fresh air hours before our wedding when tensions were at their highest. She took her time setting things up and paid close attention to even the most minute details, while still sharing a few good laughs with us and the rest of our vendors. Even more incredible to us, is that we were her second wedding of the day, yet we felt as though she had been her only client for months.
The bottom line is that Rebecca is a true artist and designer. If you are looking for a true professional brimming with talent, creativity, and personality, then do yourself a favor and speak with Rebecca.

If you are looking for something unique and extremely beautiful, Rebecca is the one to see. She was so easy to work with and very talented. We knew that she would do an amazing job for us based on her portfolio, and we were right. Everything was gorgeous, and Rebecca's prices were very reasonable.

Rebecca did a fantastic job at our wedding. The whole process was professional, efficient, accommodating, and friendly. From the moment we met with her at her workshop, we could see she had the style and eye for detail that we were looking for in our wedding florals and decor.

Rebecca was perhaps the most impressive vendor we worked with in terms of communication and organization. Working through Google Docs she always had a clear presentation of options, costs, and logistics. Her responses to our questions were prompt, thorough, and thoughtful.

The actual florals and decor fit perfectly into our vision and also the feel of our historic venue. Understated yet beautiful, it was the perfect complement to everything else. We had a few unique requests and she rose to the task and executed wonderfully. Finally, the value and pricing were by far the most reasonable and flexible we encountered in our search for floral vendors.

Rebecca rocked the floral and decor for my wedding... I was beyond pleased -- ecstatic really! During the hours leading up to the ceremony, I was lucky enough to have some leisure time to take in the space and appreciate the set up and decor. When I first saw the card table with the most beautiful, it took my breath away! My mother and I spent most of the dinner talking about how gorgeous the center pieces were! Rebecca was able to interpret from my very nebulous descriptions of what I wanted (I don't speak flowers well) and hit the nail on the head! I have to give Rebecca major props for her flexibility (I wasn't quite sure what I wanted and after a venue change, the entire look of the wedding did as well) and her patience with me! I could not have been happier with Rebecca's beautiful creations!

Rebecca did an amazing job as our florist for our wedding. Overall she was extremely affordable, flexible, imaginative, and she created table arrangements that people loved. Rebecca made a beautiful chuppah that she provided at an amazing price. She actually said that she quoted a price that ended up being below the total cost of the chuppah, but that she would stick to the price she had quoted initially. I thought this action was extremely nice and professional of her.
We planned our New York City wedding while we were both living in San Diego California, so email and internet communication were key to our planning efforts. Rebecca made a Google Web Album so that she and I could easily share photos of ideas for colors, flowers and table arrangements. She also was extremely responsive via email and phone throughout our whole mutli-month planning process.
The end result was beautiful flower arrangements for myself, the ceremony, the cocktail hour, and the reception. She also provided wonderful antique books for our reception tables which, and an assortment of interesting vases for many of the arrangements. We could not have been more pleased with our choice of florist.

It's not just that I have the highest compliments on all areas across the board.... There is not a negative thing to say.

Rebecca is overwhelmingly creative and talented.... I am still floored by how beautiful and cool our wedding arrangements and personals were. For our winter wedding, she made an awesome branch arrangement with orchids and crystals to hang our seating cards, turned our ceremony site into a different place with tons of petals and created the coolest and most unique table centerpieces: different sizes and shapes of containers holding different flowers on wooden rises.

Amazingly, she is also as lovely to work with as she is expert at her work; she stayed true to our vision and at the same time, offered exciting ideas. Rebecca worked within our budget, sent updates and pictures and modified a very detailed proposal on a regular basis, and throughout the wedding planning process, made floral decisions really fun. She was always available, helpful, patient, dedicated and professional.

She will not only allow you total confidence in your wedding decor, but also has a way of turning flowers into your favorite part of planning.

I wish I could give Rebecca six stars out of five. She was AMAZING.

She understood exactly the look we wanted -- black and white flowers with touches of green in a modern, sleek styling -- and she completely nailed it 100%, even better than I imagined it. She was incredibly responsive, always getting back to me in the same day, sometimes within a few minutes. She showed us tons of photos of what she was planning and talked us through everything. And on the day of the wedding she was there even before I was! She spent hours setting up and making everything look perfect, and it absolutely was.

Everyone raved about the flowers! She did my bouquet, floral headbands for my bridesmaids, corsages for the moms and grandmas, two huge branchy displays for the ceremony site, flowers for the bar, and this INCREDIBLY AMAZING giant arrangement for the urn at the front of the venue. It was mind-blowing. And it was honestly really affordable for all of that stuff; she doesn't inflate her prices crazily like big cookie-cutter florists.

I cannot recommend Rebecca highly enough. I saw photos of other weddings she's done and she would work just as well with a romantic bride, or a simple-sweet bride. I felt like she got my vision completely and tailored everything exactly to my tastes. Plus she's a sweetheart. :)

The flowers that Rebecca did for our wedding were absolutely gorgeous. During our first meeting with her she instantly picked up on the style we were going for and was incredibly patient and flexible as we made several changes and edits throughout the process. We wanted something romantic, yet simple, and she struck this tricky balance perfectly. Our chuppah, bouquets, boutonnieres, and table arrangements were all perfectly executed and were in-line with what had been discussed during our consultation. I would highly recommend Rebecca both for her skill and artistry as well as her friendly and flexible demeanor.

When I asked my good friend who had recently gotten married if she could recommend any wedding vendors, she told me all her vendors were great but she LOVED her florist, Rebecca Shepherd. I have to say, once my fiancé and I met with Rebecca we crossed all the other florists off our list. There was no doubt in our minds that we wanted to work with her. Not only does she have an incredible way with flowers, she's really professional and a joy to work with. When we met her at her shop in Brooklyn she was so warm (the first thing she did was make us tea!) and she immediately got what we had in mind for our wedding flowers. She even pulled the exact same photo that I did for inspiration! She really walked us through the whole process and helped us pick flowers that looked beautiful while staying within our price range.

On the day of our wedding, the flowers looked breathtakingly gorgeous. It was important to me to have gladiolas in the table arrangements because those were my grandma's favorites and she had passed away before my wedding, and Rebecca made them look SO beautiful they brought tears to my eyes. We got so many compliments on the flowers and they look stunning in all the photos as well. We were so happy that we chose Rebecca for our wedding and can't recommend her enough!

We were blown away by the flowers at our wedding. Even in my wildest dreams I didn't think they would turn out so beautifully. I met with Rebecca at her studio and she was wonderful. She even set up a pretend arrangement on the floor with measuring tape so that we could be sure the small bud vase groupings, candles, and terrarium cloches were placed just right on the long tables with the larger arrangements. It was perfect. Her team executed everything gorgeously on the day. And as the day approached, she was happy to edit the plans via email as needed. Everything turned out perfectly. I didn't need to do a thing and it looked stunning--so many compliments from our guests. Um, just remember to actually open the box with the boutineers and coursages. We forgot about them! But it didn't matter, we found them toward the end of the night! haha And they were awesome. We were so happy overall. I highly recommend Rebecca Shepherd if she's in your budget. For reference, we married at MyMoon with under 80 guests and spent about $3200 on the flowers. I love that she's a local small business owner who's killing it!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Rebecca Shepherd Floral Designs. We started the process out by meeting in her adorable office space (I was running late and Rebecca was gracious and professional) where we went over a Pinterest Board that I had made. We really worked together to come up with a customized plan that would set the tone for the wedding from start to finish! She kept in constant contact and it was very easy to get in touch with and exchange ongoing ideas. The proposal that she submitted after our meeting was above and beyond what I expected and to be honest - helped me get a better vision of my wedding day as a whole!

I was particularly set on having lilies of the valley for my bouquet, and Rebecca made it happen! She even had the foresight to include an extra small bouquet into our package in case the lilies wilted (which she told me in advance would happen, and she was absolutely correct!). I loved that she listened to what I wanted and offered her advice and expertise to help me achieve the best possible results!

Gorgeous flowers, okay experience

I loved working with Rebecca--she absolutely made my vision for my wedding day come to life and the second I met her, I knew she was the right person for our big day. She created the most beautiful bridal bouquet for me with deep purples and succulents and thistle--something I'd never seen anywhere else and was completely unique. Same with decor, my bridesmaids' bouquets, and the groom/groomsmen boutonnières. Rebecca and her team do gorgeous work and am sure they elevate any wedding they work on.

Our only complaint, which unfortunately left a bad taste in our mouths, was that we had discussions with her team about collecting back their vases for the flowers after the event, but that our wish was for our guests take the flowers we paid for. Unfortunately, flowers were taken out of our guests hands, including my mother in law who paid for the flowers, saying that it was our wish that the flowers went to a nearby hospital. I'm guessing this was a miscommunication on the staff's side from another event, but was definitely never discussed about ours and never clarified on-site before removing them from my guests. We were really disappointed by this and never received an apology, so it did rub us wrong.
