Amazing wedding dress & alterations

I highly recommend Rana bridal! Rana was able to work magic in how she transformed the sample size dress in her store into my size - I think she miraculously went down by 10 sizes. Her attention to detail was truly stunning - she was able to preserve and enhance the delicate overlay design that was on my dress and made it fit perfectly to me. I truly appreciated her hard work that went into my dress. She really helped make my big day special!

Amazing experience!!

Rana is amazing!!! The boutique is beautiful and had a wide selection of dresses to try. This was the only shop I visited and said yes at my first visit. Rana is great with scheduling and making sure you are the only bride to give you her undivided attention. Her alterations were incredible, she took her time, was extremely detailed, made sure I was happy and comfortable and gave her honest opinion. From selecting my dress and all of my follow up appointments, Rana was a pleasure to work with!!

Rana Bridal for your wedding dress needs!

I had a great experience with Rana Bridal - using this quaint New Jersey dress boutique to try on, find, and tailor my wedding dress and veil. Rana was fantastic throughout the entire process and all of our fittings were easy to schedule and went smoothly.

Stressless

Rana Bridal was a soothing and stressless part of the wedding planning process. I have heard some horror stories about bridal gown shops requiring a "trying on fee", limiting the amount of dresses brides try on, and cranking out alterations like an assembly line. This shop is nice and small yet packed with stunning gowns. It's private, civilized, and yet not gimmicky where you are preparing yourself to pay an arm and a leg for the gown. They will not pressure you into accessories and spend a tedious amount of time on making the alterations impeccable. They're craftswomen!

Rana is one of a kind!

A friend suggested to go to Rana Bridal after she had an amazing experience there for her wedding.

Rana Bridal was the first (and last) bridal shop that I went to. The first time I walked in the front door the owner, Rana, welcomed both my mom and I with a welcome heart. I tried on several of the shops beautiful dresses and could not believe the reasonable prices that the store had to offer. I went with the third dress that I could not get out of my mind.

Throughout the whole alterations process, Rana wanted to make sure everything fit perfect on me. She was not going to stop until I was happy with the way my dress looked on me. Other places give you only a max of 2 dress fittings, but with Rana I had 4.

Going to a small bridal store like this one made my whole experience with picking out my dress incredible. I was the only one in the store trying on my dress and was not crowded by 8 other brides. The relationship that I gained with Rana was truly amazing.

Stop looking and go to Rana Bridal!

Rana is incredibly gifted seamstress; she has years of experience and knows how to tailor your dress to perfection. She goes out of her way (no shortcuts in her work) to be detailed and attentive. She gives great advice on wedding dress prep and style as well. Thank you Rana for making my wedding dress absolutely stunning!

My experience with Rana was fantastic. From the start, Rana provided a stress free and memorable experience. She has a beautiful selection of dresses, and is truly an artist when it comes to alterations. She customized my dress to exactly what I wanted, and it was a joy to see her for every fitting. Wonderful!

Rana is a wonderful woman with incredible talent! She has a gorgeous selection of dresses and goes above and beyond to make sure you feel beautiful on your wedding day. My bridesmaids purchased their dresses from Rana. It was the first and only shop we went to. She took their measurements and the dresses fit them like a glove. I wasn't sure what color I wanted them in and she even ordered a special sample so I could see the other color in person.

I had already purchased my dress before discovering Rana's shop, but knew I wanted her expertise to alter it. My dress was about 3 sizes too big with very intricate beading and embroidery. Rana went waaaaaaayyyy above and beyond to make sure it was perfect. After my final fitting, I had e-mailed her about parts of the dress. She e-mailed and called immediately AND even opened back up at 10 PM to make sure it was exactly the way I wanted it before my wedding. She has an amazing attention to detail. She did an unbelievable job on an especially challenging alteration. She is such a kind, gentle, and caring woman - an absolute pleasure to work with. I am so grateful for sweet Rana, her wonderful talent, and lovely store. I'll cherish my dress and wedding day memories for a lifetime. Thank you so much Rana!

Rana’s Bridal was the first bridal shop I visited and the only one I needed to visit. Rana allowed me to try on all types of dresses to get a feel on what style I liked. I didn’t feel rushed at all. It wasn’t until the last dress I tried on that I fell in love. The process was great. I ordered my dress Sept 2017 and it came in March 2018. Every time I came in for a fitting we hugged and laughed. We talked about life, it was like visiting an old friend. Rana is a professional and very knowledgeable. My dress fit perfect, even with my weight loss she was very patient with me. I would recommend any new bride to Rana. Rana had a great dress selection and a great seamstress.

I went to a bunch of different shops and always left feeling unimpressed.. until I walked into Rana Bridal! I randomly stopped by one day because the shop is only 2 minutes away from my work. Rana was extremely patient with me and worked with me to find the perfect dress! Like others have mentioned, I ended up with a style of dress I never thought I would get (strapless trumpet). She also tailored the dress perfectly and helped me with accessories. She is the BEST!

I had the best experience with Rana. She was recommended to me by a friend after I was having trouble finding the perfect wedding dress. Her boutique has a ton of beautiful options, and after narrowing it down to 2, I chose the best one. I was one of those annoying people that wanted a lot of changes done to my dress. Rana was super patient and detailed the entire time. She was honest with her opinions and suggested different solutions when necessary. On the day of my very last fitting, she made a couple last minute adjustments because she wanted it to fit perfectly. She made the entire experience pleasurable instead of a torturous task. My mom and mother in law both got their dresses there as well not only because of her great selection, but also because of her sweet personality. She is not overly salesy or aggressive, just shares the facts. Rana goes above and beyond to make your dream dress. I love her and am so grateful she as part of my wedding experience. You’re the best Rana!!

Rana is truly a talented woman with unbelievable attention to detail. I have never met someone so intricate and careful as her. I felt so comfortable leaving the most important part of our wedding day in her hands.
She was helpful, kind, honest, and articulate. Every time we would meet with Rana, we laughed and had a wonderful experience.
Ultimately, my wedding dress was perfect. She is so talented and can make any dress look perfect.

We had our wedding exactly a year ago and I never had the chance to write a review on all our vendors. Rana Bridal's selection of wedding dresses and tuxedos were top notch and the service was amazing. It was very easily scheduling/test fitting everything and everything was a breeze thanks to the staff at Rana Bridal!!

This was the first place I went to to find a wedding dress and I found the most perfect dress! I was looking for a lace dress with sleeves, because I got married in the middle of the winter on NYE and when I went to my first appointment, Rana and her staff brought out 6-7 beautiful dresses! I chose the most perfect dress and loved working with Rana through all of the fittings. She is so thoughtful and pays very close attention to detail. She does all of the alterations herself (which is rare these days). Because of weight fluctuations, Rana had to take the dress out, then take back in in different areas multiple times. She is so flexible and kind-hearted! I highly recommend this place!

i can't say enough about how awesome rana is. i mean, really truly, awesome. she and her daughter were so incredibly helpful and found me the perfect dress for my wedding. rana spends a lot of time at each fitting making sure the dress is JUST right as well. she is a great seamstress; her needlework is amazing! she's also really got a great eye for style, and makes excellent recommendations. she also helped my mother find the perfect dress as well, at the last minute no less! she worked tirelessly and under pressure the week before my wedding to get my mom's dress perfect; even adding sleeves customized to my mother's liking. and she did this all with a smile on her face. she made the dress buying/fitting completely stress-free; imagine that ladies!

Rana is an ANGEL. If you want professionalism at it's best mixed with amazing prices and a family feel, you must go to Rana bridal. She is a seamstress genius and a sweetheart. I got my bridal gown, all my bridesmaids, flower girls and mother of the bride dress at Rana's and I will never ever regret this decision. They have every dress you can imagine, every color, every choice and Rana knows her stuff! Rana has helped us throughout the process and has made me feel like I have gained a family member. She is so good at what she does and so reasonably priced. Forget any other bridal/gown/dress shop because I promise you Rana is THE best!

I had a great experience with Rana from start to finish! I went to Rana based on a friend's recommendation. Her selection is wonderful, especially for a smaller store. I found my dream dress there and she helped me customize it with extra lace trimming to make it even more perfect. When the dress first came in, it was too big for me but Rana tailored it PERFECTLY so it fit me like a glove on my wedding day. My dress was strapless and it stayed up without any adjustment whatsoever, even throughout the night of dancing. She is meticulous with alterations and it shows.

I first met Rana when I was a bridesmaid in my girlfriend's wedding last summer and I had a great experience then. When it came time for my own wedding, I knew that she was the only one I trusted to alter my gown! I purchased my dress at another store in NJ because they were having a trunk show for the designer I wanted. When I took my dress to Rana for alterations and she told me they would have price matched the trunk show price! Regardless, the alterations Rana did on my dress were phenomenal. The dress fit perfectly over the course of 3 fittings including one extra one when I was having a minor freak out a week before the wedding day. Rana is very flexible and is great at what she does!

Rana at Rana bridal was a pleasure to work with. I changed A LOT about my dress, and she did all of the work herself.. she made it a sweat-heart cut in the front, made it a low-cut back, and literally sewed lace around the entire length of my dress by hand.... It looked absolutely beautiful. My dress ended up kind of ripping in the back during the night, but it was most likely because I was dancing the entire night (my husband is Colombian, so I was shaking my butt the whole time!) My matre d quickly sewed the back of it where it ripped and it was fine :) I also got my bridesmaid dresses there (as well as my Mother and both my Grandmothers found theirs). It took about 4 months for the bridesmaid dresses to come in, but I guess that's expected when you're ordering for a wedding. Everyone loved the dresses and Rana was available all the time.. she was extremely flexible with what times I was able to come in.

I had my dress alterations done at Rana Bridal (I bought my dress in another state) and working with Rana was a breeze. She is very friendly and thorough and her prices are very reasonable. Rana made sure I had 3 fittings in the last few months to make sure everything fit perfectly. I would high recommend her to anyone.

I bought my dress in Nanuet, NY and had it altered at Rana Bridal. My mom also had her dress altered at Rana Bridal - they did such a phenominal job! I had bought a sample size dress, and they had to take 6" out of the dress. They did such a lovely job and made me look like a princess!! They came highly recommended to me by my moms coworker. I loved them and would highly recommend them.

After a terrible experience with another bridal store in the area, I went to Rana in desperate need of a dress (after canceling the order at the other store). Rana was so helpful and calmed my anxiety about not having a dress in time. She worked with me and my bridesmaids and I ended up ordering everything from her store. I cannot thank her enough for everything she did for me. The dresses were beautiful!

They were GREAT every step of the way!!! I was looking for a dress for months and I found it at Rana Bridal. I love my dress... I got so many compliments not only because I was the bride that day but simply because it was gorgeous!!! Sara and her mom did everything for me to look amazing on wedding day :)

I had a wonderful experience with Rana Bridal from start to finish. I had pictured my Augusta Jones dress from the beginning, and they are one of the few places in NJ who carry the designer. I happened to walk in during the Trunk Show and fell in love with my dress. Rana and her daughter are so helpful and knowledgeable. I had also found bridesmaids dresses elsewhere and they were happy to order them for me at a great rate. They were so kind and went out of their way to help in any way they could. The alterations were perfect. I would highly recommend Rana Bridal.

New York Brides...find the dress you love in NY and buy it at Rana Bridal. Her prices are great and there's no sales tax in NJ so can save hundreds.
Rana has a great selection of dresses. Her store is adorable! I had 3 fittings before I finally picked up the dress and veil. Each fitting, she meticulously inspected and pinned every single area on my body until the dress fit perfectly. Rana is so sweet and I really enjoyed working with her.
We also ordered all of my bridesmaids dresses through her and she gave us a great price. Even though they didn't carry the color or all the styles that I wanted in the store, she still was able to order them.
Loved my dress so much and loved working with Rana. I had full faith that the dress would fit perfectly with top notch tailoring.

I love Rana Bridal. I went to several locations to look for a dress, and was disappointed in different ways. But when I went into Rana Bridal, there were (finally) many dresses that looked good on me! I ended up finding my dream dress. Rana was always flexible, and made sure my dress was tailored perfectly to me. She also got the perfect veil for my dress, and was able to convert a brooch that had been in my family into a hair pin that looked FANTASTIC! Rana is the best!

I purchased my wedding dress from Rana Bridal. It was a great experience and I would recommend this bridal shop to anyone. I wasn't looking forward to looking for bridal dresses, but the appointment I had at Rana's shop was perfect. My bridal consultant was patient and didn't pressure me to hurry up or purchase anything. Rana herself does the fittings for the alterations. The appointments were also very relaxing. For my first fitting, I didn't fit into my dress. She was very nice and made room for me to come into an extra fitting. It was a very nice experience and I was extremely happy with my dress. I highly recommend Rana Bridal!

I have been to 5 different bridal shops in Manhattan and NJ. "Some bridal shops" in Manhattan don't even try to help you, they are after your money. I found my dress in one of those shops but with the rush fee that they apply, it was over my budget. I saw the reviews online about Rana and immediately called her. She was very friendly from the first second I talked to her. She offered me a very reasonable price, plus, she called the designer and made everything for this order not to be rush. I saved a lot of money! I wish I've been here before, the dresses in her boutique are the best selection of gowns with really reasonable prices. Also she takes the alterations really serious and did a perfect job. I highly recommend checking out Rana Bridal where you are treated like a princess. Great service and such a sweet person. Thank you very much Rana!!

After tirelessly searching for my perfect dress, I stumbled across reviews online recommending Rana Bridal in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. I have to admit, I was getting quite frustrated with the lack of selections at other vendors and I quickly called up to make an appointment with Rana. The moment my mom and I entered, I could tell this bridal boutique was quite different than others we had visited. The place was immaculate, as well as the fact that the selection of dresses were absolutely to die. Also, Rana privately books appointments so that noone else is scheduled to be in the store during your appointment and you have free reign to peruse and try on. After my first appointment, I scheduled another and finally settled on a beautiful Augusta Jones lace dress with a long train adorned with Swarovski crystals. The gown was amazing and Rana's alterations made the dress fit just perfect. She took her time to get it just right! It truly was my dream dress and the experience at Rana Bridal made the entire process so memorable for both myself and my mom. I highly recommend Rana Bridal. Rana has meticulous taste, is an absolute pleasure to work with, and her dress selection is truly one of kind. On a side note, she also has absolutely beautiful antique wedding jewelry, handbags, and veil selections.

I actually found my dress at Kleinfeld's in the city, and the only place nearby that carried the designer (Augusta Jones) was Rana Bridal. When I saw the dress there, it had extra pearl beading on it that made it perfect. Rana also brought down the price to match the one we originally saw and it included the alterations (which was an amazing deal).

She fitted the dress perfectly for the wedding and she also provides cleaning and preservation services as well. Great service!

The moment I walked into Rana's Studio, I knew I was buying my dress there. The atmosphere was great... the soft music was playing, Rana with her cute smile welcomed us and listened carefully to what I was looking for. The dress I ended up buying was among the first four she showed me. She set my expectations right from the start. The dress came in on time, and was in perfect condition. Rana ironed it the day when I picked it up. She was such a pleasure to work with!! My dress did not need any alterations, and Rana included my bustle and bra saw-in for free. She also fixed the small tear that my lovely hubby did on the wedding day at no cost. If you are looking for a reliable and super sweet person who will have you in mind at all times, you want to go with Rana Bridal. I loved working with her.

I wish I had gone here first instead of Kleinfelds. Rana took one look at me and picked my perfect dream dress. I adore her for her quiet professionalism and her great advice. She advised me that since I was spending so much money on the photography, to pick a dress that could 'wow' on film as much as it would 'wow' in person. She said that although lace and beaded dresses were very romantic and beautiful in person, those details were usually lost in photographs. She chose for me a silk organza Rosa Clara dress that was just dreamy. I thought it might be a little simple without any beading or lace, but the impact in the photographs was just stunning. Rana was right :) In terms of alterations and any other wedding attire details, she was incredibly well versed and incredibly generous and accommodating.

I highly recommend shopping at Rana Bridal for your wedding dress or other special occasion! The women at Rana were very patient and more than willing to work with me on selecting my gown. I ultimately took aspects from 3 different wedding dresses (bodice, sleeves, and lace) and Rana worked with the designer to have them create my perfect dress. The tailor at Rana is wonderful and she did an amazing job of hemming my dress in a very short time right before the holidays. They were also accommodating in letting me rent a wrap when mine didn't arrive in time for my wedding. I had previously shopped for wedding gowns in Manhattan and everyone was way too pushy (and usually over priced). The experience at Rana was exactly the opposite - I put a lot of faith in them to deliver a custom gown in a VERY short period of time (less than 4 months) and they exceeded my expectations! I am a very demanding New Yorker (former Jersey girl) and seriously could not have been happier with my experience.

Rana is awesome! I found my dress originally at a very well know bridal boutique in Manhattan but couldn't deal with their lack of personal touch. I decided to go to Rana at first only because I knew she was the only other shop in the area that had my dress. I'm so glad I did. She was so easy to work with, appreciative of my business, and did a stellar job on my alterations. My dress fit perfectly and the alterations were perfect. Thank you Rana!!

After going to a Bridal Shop that didn't carry the type of sophisticated dress my daughter was looking for, we made an appointment with Rana based on a friend's recommendation. Rana had an assortment of dresses for any Bride, and had the type of sophisticated simple lace gowns that my 5'2" daughter fell in love with. She quickly narrowed it to 2 dresses and then to the gown of her dreams. Over the course of several fittings, Rana was helpful and clearly experienced in fitting the gown to my daughter perfectly. She made sure my daughter could sit and move around comfortably. She also saved me the lace that was cut from the hem so that when I bought a chiffon wrap for my daughter, she applied the lace to the wrap for a reasonable cost. I can't emphasize enough how many guests at the wedding raved about how stunning the dress was and how beautiful it looked on my daughter. Rana is a lovely, helpful woman and I would highly recommend her.

I purchased my Pronovias wedding gown at Rana Bridal at their sample sale. From the moment we entered, we were treated with professionalism and great service. It is a small and very cute boutique. I tried on a few dresses and ended up buying the 2nd dress I tried on. Since it was a sample, we just paid and carried out, it was super easy. My only criticism would be that there was a 5 dress limit of how many you could try on for the sample sale, which made it a little stressful when I was choosing the dresses off the rack since I wasn't sure what would look good on me. Since it was not that busy in the shop that morning, I did not think it was necessary to implement that limitation, but I understand that they probably had to do this based on past experience to keep things under control. All in all, I had a great experience.

This was my first experience shopping for a dress and it was awful. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I had a 20 minute appointment, felt rushed and like they didn't care. I tried on four dresses and then they decided to tell me I was only allowed to try on four. That's crazy! How can they limit the amount I try on? How am I supposed to make a decision with only ever having four dresses on?! They should have mentioned that prior to me coming in. Also, she didn't even clip the dress until my mother asked for clips. The very first dress I tried on ever and she puts it on, doesn't even turn me around so I can see myself and immediately opens the curtain. It wasn't even clipped. She barely finished zipping it and the curtain was open. I would have liked to see what I looked like before she opened the curtain! I couldn't wait to get out of there. It was such a terrible first experience. I never write reviews but this was so bad I felt compelled to write. Waste of my time coming here. DON'T GO HERE!!!
