  Reonna, at Ramada Tropics Resort was so helpful and organized! She kept our wedding details in check. She was so easy to work with and went above and beyond with making our day the best! The entire staff was amazing! They took care of us and mad our night magical. It wa the perfect place for our wedding!

  Loved having our wedding reception here!! The location is great, easy to get to (and find, for those coming from out of town). The waterpark is just an added perk to all the wonderful things they do! The price of the room includes so much of what other places charge extra for! The price includes all the decorating- the room, the head table, the cake table, etc. It also includes the dance floor set up, bartenders, use of the a/v screens, and on and on! Wonderful experience. The ONLY flaw was that we had planned for kids meals (and had given them accurate numbers). On the day, there were no kids meals, all were given adult meals. Not a HUGE issue when compared to the grand scheme of things!

  We thought the Ramada provided a beautiful venue for our reception. We did most of the set up, by our own choice, but the Ramada staff offered their help. We chose to bring a snack mix for part of our appetizers, and they charged us $10 PER PACKAGE to open them. We thought that was a little ridiculous. Overall, we had a good experience there.

  We ran into a few snags with scheduling - the room was double booked for the day. A conference in the morning and our wedding at night. There was a little crossover that required some juggling on our part and theirs. They let us use a couple smaller rooms and we got some snacks for guests while they finished setting the reception. We had some frustrating moments but overall everything went fine. Guests are still saying we had good food 2 months after the wedding.
