Rafael Serrano Photography was an incredible blessing to our wedding experience. From our Fort Worth Botanical Garden engagement session to our dream wedding at Brighton Abbey in Aubrey, TX—Rafael captured every meaningful moment with precision in his signature cinematic style.
His photography feels like fine-art heirlooms mounted on our walls—epic, romantic, and authentic to who we are. These timeless images beautifully reflect our love connection. No filters required. The enchanted details, the joy of our guests, the heartfelt moments with family, and the magic of the day were all exquisitely captured more beautifully than we could have imagined. Grateful to Rafael and his incredibly capable team for preserving with care this once in a lifetime season, I dreamed up with anticipation ever since I was a little girl.
A small word of caution: Rafael is a luxury photographer, and his packages reflect that level of craftsmanship. The investment is significant, but the quality of their exquisite prints and albums are unmatched. Also, I recommend that brides prepare a clear list of priority shots with sample photos. As with any wedding, the day moves quickly, and making your must-have moments known ahead of time ensures you and your photographer are aligned in case every pose can’t be captured when things don’t go according to plan.
Our wedding was a celebration overflowing with emotion, beauty, and meaning—and despite the challenges and tears I faced that day, because of Rafael’s photos I am able to look back at our wedding gallery with pure joy. If you’re seeking a wedding photographer who can capture your love story in epic proportions, Rafael Serrano Photography is the one. Beautiful wedding!!!
Wow!! I don’t know where to start with Rafael and his team- YOU ALL MADE OUR DAY EVEN BETTER!!! We knew when we signed up with Rafael that we would get amazing photos. We researched and RESEARCHED because photography is very important to us, but what we did not realize was the experience they brought with them. They made us feel comfortable in front of the camera and had amazing guidance from Barry during all of our private photos. Roland and Rafael thought of every shot possible and we can’t stop scrolling through all of the beautiful memories they captured. Angelica has been prompt and extremely communicative with every email and phone call. Their dedication and professionalism is top tier- I can’t imagine our wedding day without them in it. Not only is Rafael and his team super professional and a dream to interact with, his photos are a DREAM! The type of photography that Id imagine you'd fine in a high fashion magazine. The fact that the only editing tool he utilizes in his photos is adobe lightroom is astounding. My personal favorite wedding shot are the ones he created with my veil.
His pricing is on the premium side and honestly he is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY.

We are a NY/NJ couple who decided to have a destination wedding in Dallas, TX to get married during a total solar eclipse. Selecting a photographer for our wedding was a top priority and because our wedding was pretty unique, we took our time to find the right one and spoke to a few. When we met with Rafael in person for the first time, it was a sure thing. His work speaks for itself but the main deciding factor that stood out to us was how he took the time to get to know us as couple because talking business and we really appreciated that. Our engagement shoot was a great way to understand how he works and made us feel more comfortable for wedding day. Our photos are breathtaking. He works fast and efficient and really knows how to work with people, even our guests were telling us how nice he was to them! We appreciate the level of professionalism mixed with the feeling of family. Angelica was very on top of everything and sending us reminders and checking in. They truly know how to make a couple feel special and bring the best out of them. The quality of our photos, the album, and prints are top notch. Can’t wait for our anniversary photoshoot! Rafael was amazing to work with! From the beginning, his communication was on point. We got to chat with him and go over all the details, which made everything feel so seamless. He’s super professional—this was a destination wedding, and he even arrived the day before. Everything on the wedding day went so smoothly, we were able to start a little early and never felt rushed, which was such a relief.
I’ve always loved his style—that’s why we hired him—but seeing it in person was something else. He got so creative with the Tlaquepaque location, finding unique stairs and angles that turned into stunning pieces of art. But what stood out just as much were his candid shots. The moments he caught during the ceremony, on the dance floor, and everything in between were so real and full of emotion.
One of my favorite parts of the whole experience was the day-after photoshoot in the Sedona Red Rocks. There’s this shot of us on a cliff at sunset, and it’s honestly one of the coolest pieces of artwork I’ve ever seen—and we’re in it!
On top of all that, Rafael exceeded our already high expectations. He delivered the photos ahead of schedule, and we even got a preview slideshow the very next day, which was such a treat. I’m so grateful for everything he captured. Honestly, I wish I could hire him again, but I’m only getting married once! -

The Best Photography Choice!!!
We came across Rafael and his team at a bridal show in Dallas. His work spoke for itself and left us with a lasting impression—especially when he explained his process and how personal he made each experience, so we just knew we needed him as our photographer for our big day! It was worth every penny and by far one of the best decisions we made for our big day! Even our guests were incredibly impressed with the team and their dedication to capturing every moment.
Our consultations and discussions with Rafael and Angelica and their team were always incredibly professional. Rafael had a way of making everyone feel at ease even if they weren’t comfortable in front of a camera, or were stressed. It was an attribute that felt invaluable to have! He even scheduled a call to walk us through poses to practice so that on our big day we wasted no time to capture every moment. Our photos are nothing short of epic or incredible! The results along with the experience made everything feel 100% worth it. Truly, we felt like he perfectly encompassed our theme and we would display every single photo in our home if we could! The album we received was expertly executed. They seem to have this system down to a fine art. We never felt concerned about our results or when we would receive photos, which by the way, was so FAST!! We were getting previews and photos within a few weeks of our wedding, we couldn’t believe it with how incredible the photos looked. All in all, it is a decision we felt was worth the expense, and the photos that we have will continue to bring us joy through our lifetime together. -

Yall.... there are too many great things to say about Rafael & his team!
First off my pictures are ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. Rafael takes his craft serious and likes to try different things. This was fun for us to be a part of! Second off, this is a small family run business and they run this better than big businesses do. I got my entire wedding gallery back in 2 weeks, that's over 1000 pictures, edited and in my email. They have their stuff together! Third, they made us feel like family and were so easy to get along with and ask questions. On our wedding day I had to stress about the photographer because I had so much trust this was the A TEAM! If you dont believe me go ask anyone in my bridal party who was just as excited to get the pictures back as we were. We got so many compliments on Rafael, even before the pics came back. Book him. Easily the best experience with a photographer to date!
Rafael and his team were such a pleasure to work with! His way of capturing a story through pictures and the creativity to make my wedding vision come to life was just…amazing! I saw one of his albums while I was venue hunting.. and I told my mom “I don’t care where I have to lower my budget in regards to other vendors. I want Rafael to take my wedding pictures and NO ONE ELSE” Iove love love his work! Him and his team are very nice, communicative, professional. You will not regret choosing them! I can’t say enough about how professional he is and the quality of work that he provides! He did out engagement and wedding photos, and they are THE BEST photos we own. I have never been so in love with my pictures! It’s like he took each special moment and captured the perfect snapshot!
Once he is ready for you to see photos, he sets an appointment at the studio and puts on a slideshow on the big screen to choose favorites. Such an incredible experience all around.

EPIC!! Best experience!
I first met Rafael at a bridal show and was blown away with his work. I insisted my fiancé and I must meet with him. After our consultation, both of us knew this was our photographer. Not only does Rafael have an amazing eye for photography but he and his team are so wonderful! I would never consider myself photogenic, in fact quite the opposite. However, Rafael and his team made us feel so comfortable during our engagement photos and again for our wedding. At times, I catch myself looking at a photo and am shocked to know that that is me. He captured our love in such a remarkable way. He was also so generous, patient and kind with our families during our group pictures. Our family now asks about him and he has become a member of the family. We now have fantastic pictures throughout our home that will last a lifetime. It was an EPIC day and experience! Trust me, it will be hard for you to find a favorite photo. They are all amazing. The overall experience, was hands down the easiest and most priceless part of our event. I am not exactly sure where to begin this review. A bit of some background. I discovered who Rafael was when my best friend got married almost two years ago. The first time I saw her photos, I was stunned at how beautiful they were. I remember thinking, this guy has such a unique eye for capturing the in-between moments of posing, which almost always make the best photos, in my opinion. The style he uses is like no other out there. The dramatic look gives the picture so much depth that the love and connection couples have is brought out, making each photo unique. Rafael created such a memorable experience for both of us. He gave us a photograph collection that we will cherish until the end of time. He captured exactly what I had always envisioned for my engagement photos. People have raved at what a fantastic job he did at capturing our personalities and story within these photos. Right away, people say, yes, these photos just scream the two of you.
Rafael, you have a special gift and an eye for capturing the beauty of love. It was such an honour to work with you, and we will always be grateful for your talents and warm spirit.

The Best Decision You Will Make!
Hiring Rafael and Angelica Serrano is by far one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding journey. When researching photographers, I saw a lot of the same wedding shots and style from other vendors. I wanted something more artistic & different from the rest. One day I came across these incredible shots that stood out. They had amazing lighting and colors and it was then that I was obsessed with Rafael Serrano photography and had to have him. Rafael’s work is unique and his eye for capturing the best in people is quite amazing. He captures not just a picture of you, but a romantic love story that highlight your best qualities with beautiful settings & lighting.
From the beginning of our relationship with Rafael and Angelica, they were the nicest, most accommodating professionals . They replied immediately with any questions I ever had and I was never left waiting long for ANYTHING. They guided us through every part of our wedding journey from how our engagement pictures would go to the last details of our wedding day. They conferenced with us many times throughout and the time spent with them was so great because I always felt like we were their #1 priority as they made us feel so special and comfortable. This really helped us feel so relaxed by the time we had our photo shoots because we knew we were in good hands. At our wedding, they played such a pivotal role. Rafael is not just a photographer. He & his wife guided us throughout the day like second wedding planners. He knew the best time for sunset pictures and had our times down perfectly to capture those moments. He knew the schedule perfectly and transitioned us to each important aspect of the day. I didn’t have to worry about anything because he worked with my planner and bridal party to ensure everything went smoothly. I had a huge wedding party and his patience with them was also so amazing. It’s not easy getting 20 bridesmaids and groomsmen together & he did it so well and got some amazing shots with them.
All of our pictures are absolutely amazing and I am so glad I invested in a top photographer. These memories are all I have now after the big day and every time I look at them it’s like taking a trip through my wedding all over again. There is not one picture I do not love. I cannot thank Rafael and Angelica enough. They were absolutely incredible. If you want the absolute best photography experience, hire this team. You will not regret it. -

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING work. Cannot say enough good things about him and his team. The photos speak for themselves but they were easy to work with and do a beautiful job. Prior to the wedding we did a “posing” FaceTime where they went through poses with us to help speed things up for the wedding. It was so so helpful and kept everything on track day of. They were early and stayed the entire day!!! Rafael is so innovative and creative and his photos are truly STUNNING. I traded our engagements for bridal and they were AMAZING. 10/10 would recommend!!!! -

Not only captured our memories but cultivated our LOVE!!
It has taken me so long to write this review for the simple fact that my experience with Rafael and Angelica has left me speechless. Finding the words to express my gratitude has been difficult but it would be a disservice to not truly give credit to where credit is long overdue!
Once my (NOW) Husband asked me to be his forever, we made a list of priorities and our photos made the TOP 5 on our iist. Humbly we followed guidance from friends who had just gotten married and decided that our photos would last a lifetime, much like our LOVE. I was sent Rafael's work via instagram and months later met Angelica at the Dallas Bridal Show 2019. Finding out our date was still available seemed like FATE!!
I love that she "coached" us prior to our engagement shoot to ensure we displayed poses that flattered the both of us!! (We used their techniques to this day!) Moving forward to THE BIG DAY, the team was punctual, utilized the time wisely and captured MOMENTS, not just pictures. My album tells a story, OUR story, displays our love, our family bond, and most of all we can look back on these stills and re-live every emotion!
All that to say, BOOK!!! NOW!! I am, and always will be a HUGE FAN, and I will never forget how his team makes you feel like FAMILY!! -

Rafael and his team are amazing!!
First off that Rafael has the patience of a god, during our engagement photos we brought our dog and they were not the little angels we thought they would be, but he truly captured magic. We were also a COVID wedding, probably one of the first in Texas with our original wedding being March 21. Rafael and his team were super flexible as we figured out the rescheduling. A few years ago Rafael and I coincidentally were on the same flight a few different times. I had the pleasure of being seated by him and getting to peak his work. I was instantly wowed. I took his information and told him I’d be in contact with him one day. Well, when my sister got engaged and we began to seek vendors I immediately told her about Rafael. She and the groom checked out his work and they too, were in love! Rafael did both engagement and wedding pictures and he and his team were nothing short of amazing! Just like any other vendor search for our wedding day, I've researched hundreds of photographers in Dallas area for our wedding. When I've stumbled upon Rafael Serrano's photo on Instagram, it was different, dramatic and memorable. Their website includes brief overview of the weddings they are a part of so I kept scrolling, mesmerized with composition, color, details and exceptional art pieces each of these weddings had. The photos are different then a lot of wedding albums seen nowadays and Rafael is incredibly passionate about what he does. Both Angelica and Rafael were both really involved in our wedding day, arriving earlier than needing to and helping us look our best on our wedding day. Our incredible wedding photos were delivered to us shortly after the wedding and everyone liked the moments they've captured. My husband and I were so lucky to have won an engagement shoot with Rafael Serrano Photography. I had looked at his work and feel in love. After working with him, we knew we had found our photographer. We wanted someone that would make us look like we belonged in a magazine, and that was different from all the other photography out there. Rafael's and his wife, Angelica, are a dynamic due. The work together perfectly and capture stunning shots. This was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Made our wedding complete
I cannot say enough about Rafael Serrano Photography, it was the best part of our wedding. They worked so hard to make sure we got every moment, not just during the wedding but before and after, our engagement shoot, and post wedding shoot. We love our photos! The wedding went by so quickly but I love going back and looking through our photos and reliving those moments and seeing all the things I didn’t get to see that day. Everyone who sees our album is so in love with the great quality and look of the pictures. They day of the wedding I honestly kept forgetting they were around they did a great job in blending in the crowd to capture a great pure moment. Rafael and Angelica are so great to work with and you don’t have to worry because you just know they pictures will be great. They are so hard working even our guests were impressed. My fiance & I could not have done engagement photos without them. In my typical fashion, I was worried that because we had won the complimentary session, that the service might be lacking. Needless to say, I was VERY wrong. They were PHENOMENAL! We had so much fun and the quality of the photos are INCREDIBLE & AWE-INSPIRING. I would definitely recommend this team to anyone who is wanting engagement or wedding photos. When we saw the photos in studio, our families and ourselves were BLOWN AWAY. We purchased the largest package they had which included a 24"x36" of our favorite picture on a metal media. We were also given a log in to share with our friends and families that were far away. We were also able to help with the design of our engagement book by giving feedback. They are worth every penny and my fiance and I will have FANTASTIC & BEAUTIFUL photographs to proudly display in our home.
