met her and paid her in full for the day of my wedding and then when it came time for my trial she never responded to a single email or answered any of the 4 different phone numbers she has listed, never showed up for my trial so I had to book another makeup artist for the wedding because I knew she wasnt going to show up for that either, I emailed her and ask for at least half of my money back and of course never got a response so she kept all my money for a service she never performed, very very unprofessional, she also changed her business name to The Final Touch so I would stay away from that one as well. Seems like it is all a big scam...

After having a terrible experience with Rae's Reflections we went around to look at reviews. The last review is exactly the experience we had!! I wish we saw the review before we hired her.

She cancelled last minute for the trial via email, and didn't call. We had tried to contact her using the number she originally left us and left a voice mail several times. The number was unavailable. We attempted to use another number leaving messages, when she finally contacted us said it was her boyfriend's number and that (for some reason) wouldn't receive messages there.

She refuses to reply to emails in a timely fashion (usually weeks of nagging), but has no problems constantly updating her facebook page. When we told her about our concerns, she replied to the email several days later stating that she would call that night to talk about it. She never called. Two weeks later we called her in left a message. At this point, since we hadn't heard from her in 2 weeks and the wedding was only 4 days away we had to hire another hair and makeup person.

She finally emailed the next day. We told her that we already hired another hair and makeup person since she wasn't returning our calls and that we wanted our deposit back. She immediately emailed us back pointing at the contract, stating that we should owe her the rest of the money if anything.

By reading the last comment, it looks like she has a nice little scam going. Just don't contact the couple, make them worry you are not going to show up and force them to hire someone else.

I hired Fallen-Rae after seeing a wonderful portfolio online and due the original ease of communication. I immediately sent my deposit with the contract she requested and in return I requested a receipt and a copy of the contract after she signed it. After she received and cashed my check, I was no longer able to reach her via email or phone and never received a receipt or copy of the contract. After several attempts to reach her she finally contacted me a month later and made excuses and apologized for the lack of communication and for not sending the contract/receipt. I gave her another chance and again I was unable to get in contact with her and unable to set up a trial and never received my request. I left a voice-mail telling her I wanted to cancel her services and requested my deposit back because she did not uphold a professional business, she contacted me and again lied and never returned my deposit. I hired her in April and canceled in June after giving her 3 months to lie and act unprofessionally. NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL, A LIAR, A THIEF.

Rae did an awesome job on my hair and make-up for my wedding!! She was fun to be with too. Her prices aren't bad compared to others I have looked at, and for the work she does, the prices are cheap!! I would definitly recommend Rae to everyone, infact I might start using her as my hairstylist for everything!

Rae really does amazing work. My hair and makeup for my wedding were flawless and they were exactly what I envisioned them to be. I was so thrilled to be able to work with her and after the wedding day and seeing the pictures, I am EVEN more thrilled that I had the change to have her do my hair and makeup. People are still talking about how amazing I looked- all thanks to Rae. I couldn't have been happier-she took the time to talk with me about what I was thinking about for my hair and makeup, but it was like she already knew! She is very interactive, meaning that she would make sure that I was happy with something before she moved onto the next step, which was unusual but really great. She is a true artist, an expert and a very nice person. I couldn't have asked for more, she was just perfect!
