Cedes Beauty Studio is a mobile bridal hair and makeup business based in Kingston, Jamaica. We travel throughout the island enhancing the beauty of everyone we touch. Founder Mercedes Shepherd is a graduate of the University of Technology, Jamaica. Mercedes founded Cedes Beauty Studio in 2017 after completing her scholarship at Excelsior Community College. Since then, her as well as her team has worked with both local and international clients. Let us help you look and feel fabulous for your special day!

Exciting!! Everything went smooth , I couldn’t ask for a better MUA

For the best part I must say Mercedes is very professional at what she does. She’s understanding , patient and easy to work with . I’ve used her services multiple times in the past and will be using her services a million more in future !!! She’s a STAR and it’s about time y’all see it !

Cedes Beauty Studio is my go-to makeup artist!

I started using Cedes Beauty Studio in 2019 where she did my graduation makeup and I was impressed with not only her work but also the exceptional customer service she offered. After this she became my personal make up artist …I hardly wear makeup but whenever I did… It’s her! She has done my makeup for engagements photo, wedding including my bridal party and a subsequent graduation photo and throughout all of those, the quality of service only got better! She is always on time and ready to work! I have recommended her to many and will definitely continue doing so!

She has good Interpersonal Skills & Active Listening

She has a welcoming personality and attentive listening skills. She works with each client individually to enhance their facial features using makeup artistry skills. She listens to each clients’ likes and dislikes when it comes to different products. For eg. If a client wants bright red lipstick but it is not complementary to their skin tone, she finds the balance of satisfying the customer while creating the perfect look.
