    Monica was truly amazing!!! She was extremely friendly and made everyone feel comfortable. Everyone's hair came out great and I think our make up artist was Michelle who was also wonderful. Thank you for everything Monica!!!

    Monica is EXTREMELY talented and went above and beyond to make sure I got the style I was looking for and made sure I was comfortable. She is knowledgeable, patient and incredibly kind. I would recommend her services for any and ALL events! I never felt more beautiful. I cannot that her enough!

    Glamorous, flirty, and worry-free are exactly how I felt on my wedding day. My make-up and hair stayed put even with the Jersey summer heat and a long night of dancing with my family. I highly recommend Monica if you want to feel classic Hollywood glam on your special day.

    Thanks to Monica for all your hard work on the make-up and hair for my bridal party and myself. Monica is a very technically trained, meticulous, and dedicated professional. She fully embodies the vintage lifestyle and her work really shows it. She really listened to my concerns and emails with lots of thought and responded in a very timely manner. She created an itinerary for all of the ladies that we needed to get made-up and that helped to make my nerves calm down as well as the day go more smoothly.

    As per the day itself, I woke up later than I wanted to, but Monica was patient with me the entire time and even helped my bridal party and I get back on track in time for my midday wedding ceremony. Her willingness to drive to my parents' house was also a big plus; it gave us more time to actually eat breakfast on the big day and help us feel comfortable getting ready. All of my ladies looked beautiful all day long and there's nothing I would change about my experience with her.

    There are not enough words to describe how amazing Monica is and how happy I am to have found her!! From my first inquiry to the day of my wedding, Monica was so super sweet and helpful!! I shopped for wedding stylists for so long without finding someone who knew exactly what I wanted and how to pull it off ..then I found Monica less than a couple months before my wedding and even with the time crunch and timelines changing more than once, Monica assured me everything would be perfect and it was!! My hair and makeup was absolutely gorgeous!! Monica did my hair and make up and she assembled a wonderful team that took care of my wedding party and my family and everyone looked flawless. I couldn't be happier with the service and talent I received for my wedding! Monica and her team are truly talented & lovely ladies and I absolutely will recommend Permanently Pin-up to everyone I know!

    Monica was fantastic! She worked with the girls with gentleness and grace. She was a perfect fit for a sweet 16 and moved quickly through the court before the party assisting the girls with hair and just a touch of make-up. She really helped tie the party together, giving the girls that extra bit of fun time ahead of time.

    Monica is absolutely the most talented hair and make up artist I have ever had the privilege of working with. Her and her team turned my dream of having a vintage pin up style wedding into reality and I will forever be grateful to her.     Monica did such a fabulous job with my hair. She is very talented, down to earth and professional. I will be most definitely coming back to get another fabulous retro hairdo style from her. You will be a happy customer! :-)

    I would absolutely recommend Monica's makeup and hair services to others.

    Monica did my hair and makeup trials and also did my wedding hair and makeup.

    She made me look AMAZING for my wedding. I seriously looked like a celebrity. I have never felt more beautiful in my life, and I have Monica to thank for it. It was just a total transformation; every flaw was hidden, and my natural beauty was accentuated. EVERYONE complimented my makeup/hair.

    Monica was incredibly detail-oriented too. My makeup was perfectly symmetrical. Nothing was missed or skipped over.

    Monica was a great listener. I told her what I wanted and showed her some pictures, and she was able to give me exactly that. For reference, I wanted my makeup to be Lana Del Rey-esque, and for my hair, I wanted a straight blow-out.

    Monica was always very punctual. She was never late, and she was actually 10 minutes early on my wedding day.

    Monica was also very flexible and patient with me. On the day of my wedding, we had to move the ceremony up 45 minutes to an hour due to bad weather coming in. When I told Monica, she was totally calm, collected, and sweet about it.

    It was also just awesome to have Monica around on my wedding day. She is a great person and a wonderful conversationalist. You can tell she has a good heart and cares about what she does. It just creates a good vibe.

    In terms of prices, I thought Monica's rates were very reasonable.

    It's hard for me to 100% convey how happy I am with Monica's services, but I recently had a dream/nightmare that sort-of sums it up. I dreamed that my husband and I had to do our wedding ceremony over again with only a day's notice, and the first and only thing I could think of was how I needed to call Monica because I wasn't doing the wedding without her help!

    After numerous trials for my wedding and trying to find someone who can give me that Old Hollywood glam look I envisioned I finally came across Monica, my lifesaver! Not only does she specialize in these kind of styles/up-do's she was most pleasureable to be around. I could not of picked a better stylist to be around me on my wedding day. Monica was more than patient with me and offered me a 2nd trial at a discounted price to reduce my worries of my hair for my wedding day. Above and beyond, she was on my wedding day and sticking around until I left for the church to make sure my hair was exactly how I wanted it to be. I am extremely thankful I found someone like her to be there for me on my wedding day. She made my morning cool, calm, and collective just was I wanted it to be! She truly is THE BEST!

    I thought I was just getting someone to do my makeup for my wedding. Monica was so much more than that! Not only did she do my makeup flawlessly, but she also did my eyebrows, my maid of honor's make up (which she didn't even know she had to do until that day), and my two year old's hair. I don't think we could have pulled off the vintage/pinup look without her!

    Monica did the face and hair of the model in my photo shoot for a series of print ads. Her work was precise and pristine. She put the model at ease immediately and turned a plain looking woman into a glamorous retro model! She worked well with the clothes stylist and photographer and was open to suggestions. I'd highly recommend her.
