Fall Wedding

Paul was absolutely incredible to work with! We had the pleasure of working with him for both our engagement shoot and wedding, and he made every moment enjoyable. From the start, Paul was kind, communicative, and incredibly creative. My husband and I can sometimes feel awkward in front of the camera, but Paul made us feel completely at ease. He avoided overly posed shots and instead guided us into natural, flattering poses, (but still fun and creative) which turned out stunning. We were a bit nervous about finding a great photo location without needing to drive somewhere else. We thought we might be able to take photos around the grounds; Paul arrived early and scouted out the best spots, ensuring we had the perfect backdrops for our pictures. We had a few edit requests, and Paul was more than accommodating. On the wedding day, he was meticulous in capturing all of our group photo requests and making sure no detail was missed. At the reception, Paul expertly documented all the little moments that will allow us to relive those joyful memories for years to come. We couldn't be happier with our photos! **not sure why some of the photos are uploading with weird coloring but I PROMISE it doesn't reflect Paul's amazing work!!**

Paul is the BEST!!

Paul is an incredibly talented photographer, genuinely kind person, and has an unmatched passion for his work and clients. His dedication to his clients is evident throughout the entire wedding planning process and day of the event. I typically feel a bit awkward posing for photos, but having Paul with me throughout the wedding morning prep and the whole day felt like I was just spending time with someone I’ve known a long time. I was very comfortable having him there for all the big moments, and I felt truly present with my husband throughout my entire wedding day. His calm presence helped me work through my wedding jitters and made me feel more confident. He captured so many beautiful genuine moments, both posed and candid, and you can feel the emotions in all the pictures. He is incredibly talented!

I was really impressed by the portrait locations he identified at a venue that was new to him, managing our very large bridal party, and our large family sizes, his creative vision and ability to provide direction while maintaining a calm atmosphere, his dedication to getting the perfect shots, and flexibility throughout the day. He was also very helpful in talking through timing and shot lists ahead of the wedding and did not miss a single photo that we wanted. He was the perfect photographer and I couldn’t recommend him more highly to other brides & grooms!!

Paul Francis Photography exceeds expectations!

We cannot recommend Paul Francis Photography highly enough!
From our first meeting, Paul put all of us at ease about such an important part of our daughter’s wedding—the photographs that would ultimately memorialize the special day!
Prior to the wedding day, Paul was extremely communicative about the process. He helped establish time lines that kept our day on track. Paul’s professionalism & preparation helped the day flow incredibly smoothly. Paul’s truly calm demeanor on the actual day is remarkable! Since everyone is so comfortable around him, Paul was able to capture not just beautiful portraits, but the true essence of the day and the many emotions. That is truly a gift.
Special note: the hairspray moment! Our daughter got caught in a bit of gusty wind on the beach. Paul sensed her angst and came to the rescue! He found hairspray from his car and literally saved the day! The bride commented at the end of the night, “How great is Paul?!”
We are now enjoying the gallery of pictures and Paul’s video and portraits. I am overwhelmed by his artistry! He exceeded our expectations! Many thanks to Paul & Carolyn for capturing the best day ever!

Paul was incredible, cannot recommend him enough.

Paul was absolutely fantastic at our wedding and it lead up. In our first conversation, he asked how my husband and I met and for our whole story to make sure he could capture that in our wedding photos - something that meant SO much to us. He was so organized, creating a moment by moment timeline for the day of, having multiple meetings to ensure he was ready to capture everything we wanted. On the day of, he was AMAZING. He not only made me (as the bride) feel so calm and so at ease, but he was so fast, so easy going with the flow of what we wanted and off to the side / capturing from afar when he needed to (almost like we didn't even know he was there). Multiple family members shared how great he was as well, getting everything done in a tight timeline and making it easy & fun. He also had a few surprises for us during the reception that quite literally made the night so special. In addition to photos, Paul also captured some live shots that he strung together in a short video for us - I wasn't sure I wanted anything like that, but it was SO perfect and SO amazing, I can't explain how happy I am that we have it. I highly highly recommend getting a video like that as well, with photos. Truly the best experience and the best photographer!!!!

100/10 - Paul is the best

My husband and I have always struggled in our 10 year relationship to get photos we like and expected to walk away from our wedding with only a few good ones. Paul truly exceeded expectations and we loved every single photo. It's such a gift to have hundreds of photos we love to look back on. We hadn't met Paul in person until our wedding day and he is one of the calmest people I have met and made our nervous selves feel instantly at ease.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Paul Francis for my wedding, and I cannot express how grateful I am for the exceptional service and breathtaking images he provided. Amazing photographer!

Incredible!

It rained on our wedding day and I was a little worried about getting good photos but Paul exceeded our expectations. Every single photo was gorgeous and he directed some beautiful rain shots. Our bridal parties said he was the most cool, calm, and collected wedding photographer they have ever seen and my husband and I couldn't agree more. Booking him was the best decision we made!

Incredible photographer

Paul made our wedding day so special! I had admired Paul's work for a friend's wedding and from our first conversation he put me at ease. His calming presence was so welcome on our wedding day!

Our engagement shoot was amazing because we really had a chance to get to know him and he also put my husband at ease (he's not the most comfortable with taking photos!) Paul is so knowledgable and really walked us through the wedding planning process-he helped us navigate the day of schedule and was SO organized leading up to and on our actual wedding day.

The photos he took are simply incredible. My husband and I were sad to say goodbye at the end of the night because he really did capture so many special moments and for that we are forever grateful. Would recommend working with Paul 1000%!

The BEST wedding photographer in NJ!

Paul is one of a kind! From our first meeting with him, he was such a calming, thoughtful presence. Paul did our engagement photos which was so great to get to know him and to feel more comfortable posing and with the camera. Those turned out fabulous and we were able to use them on our Save the Date, wedding website, and more! Leading up to the wedding, Paul was beyond responsive, answering every little question and helping us set a timeline for the day. On the day of the wedding, Paul balanced keeping us on schedule but also making everything flow naturally and keeping everyone in good spirits. Our guests absolutely loved the live photos being streamed to the tablet in our reception and couldn't believe the quality of them (even before any editing!) Within 2 weeks of our wedding, Paul emailed us all our files to download, share, and enjoy. We look at them almost every day and each day choose a new favorite shot. He captured the joy, love, laughter, and community from early morning until late in the night. He worked seamlessly with our videographer and never felt intrusive. We can't wait to get our wedding album and know it will be treasured for generations to come! Thank you, Paul, for being a key member of our special day!

Incredible!

Paul Francis is incredible! He is such a pleasure to work with. His online portal makes getting all the shots you want easy. On the day of the wedding he was inventive and speedy. He found many unique places to take photos. In addition to that he was able to PRINT some photos on the day of and give a photo book to my mom and MIL. You can bet they both were so happy and were crying happy tears. He gave me some next day edits to post on social media. If I could give him 100 stars, I would. He is is on the expensive side, but worth every single penny. I would book him again and again.

Best Wedding Photographer!

I can't say enough good things about Paul. He is such an amazing person and he was highly recommended by my wedding planner. Once my fiance and I met Paul we hit it off right away and he made us feel so comfortable with being behind the camera. After our engagement session I knew we made the right decision. On our wedding day, he was so patient and made sure that everything was perfect. He also made sure that he captured all of the important moments that we wanted. I cant wait to see all of the beautiful photos that he captured on our wedding day! I would definitely recommend Paul for anyone looking for a photographer whether its for a wedding, engagement, birthday. You won't regret it!

The absolute BEST!

A few years ago, I met Paul at my best friends wedding, he was so amazing to work with just being apart of the the bridal party, after I saw her pictures I knew that I would use him for my wedding. Before that I happened, I recommended him to my cousin where he once again made magic happen. We used Paul for our engagement pictures and wedding. Our engagement pictures were in October on the beach, which just so happened to be the day a Nor’Easter hit NJ. Paul being Paul, said I know how to make this beautiful, we were up at out before sunrise, freezing, but Paul took the most beautiful pictures. I knew from there we were in great hands. Our wedding this past Friday, was caught on the tale end of a hurricane, which was less than ideal but Paul knew how important it was to us for outside pictures. He did everything he could to get the shots, rain or shine. I am blown away by his same day edits, I know the best is yet to come. Paul is a master in his craft. I highly recommend him, I cannot wait to work with him again!

The best decision you'll make ...

Paul was recommended to me by a colleague, and I had only seen their engagement pictures when I first started exploring. I quickly found his website and thought he was the most talented—believe me, I looked at a lot of photographers’ websites. He was described as my colleague’s “favorite” vendor, and he quickly became ours. Leading up to our big day, from the engagement shoot to phone conversations, he makes sure he understands the venue, the flow of the day, the people who will surround you… and then magically turns that into a gallery of photos that become your memories of an incredible day. In my opinion, choosing the photographer is the most important decision you’ll make when it comes to wedding planning: when you’re old and gray, those pictures become what you remember, so they have to be incredible! I’m a private person and some photographers had a publicity fee if you didn’t want your photos posted on their site or blogs, but not Paul. And he will always be one step ahead of you. I was amazed at the speed with which we received our wedding photos, and many of our guests raved not only about the gallery but also about how smoothly the group portraits went. I never felt like I was missing the wedding because photos were taking too long. I’m a very picky person, so I picked Paul—best decision I made:)

Paul provided an incredible selection of photos

Paul was an incredibly thoughtful and organized photographer and he really delivered in terms of the photos from our wedding day (and our engagement too!). He turned our photos around very quickly and we are overwhelmed by the number of fantastic photos we have from our wedding day. He solicited feedback after our engagement shoot and kept in mind the poses we ended up liking and disliking when taking the photos on our wedding day. He also delivered so many little extra things to us, including a small album on our wedding day and an incredible slideshow of highlights from the edited photos. We did not have a videographer and given the amazing photographs and slideshow, I don't feel like we missed out on anything. I strongly recommend Paul.

Captured our wedding with elegance

I knew before I even got engaged that Paul would be our photographer, as I had always loved his beautifully soft and delicate photos. Throughout the entire planning process, Paul was always reaching out to check in and had a day-of timeline prepared for us (with alternate plans depending if my dress had a corset back or not... he thought of it ALL!). We were a bit nervous for our engagement shoot, but Paul immediately put us at ease and we had an absolute blast. In the last few weeks of the planning, I could always depend on him to have an answer for every question I had and assured me that we would be on schedule (being late to the church was my biggest fear!). When he arrived the morning of the wedding, his amazingly calm demeanor settled over the house (thankfully!) and my mom and I still remark about how soft spoken, yet completely in control he was in a house full of changing bridesmaids, an anxious mother and bride, and two screaming toddlers. I remarked a few times that I was worried we'd be late and Paul constantly reassured me we'd be on time and not to worry unless I saw him worrying (he didn't even sound frustrated the fourteenth time I anxiously asked if we'd be late!). He and the second photographer, Rachel, did a beautiful job capturing our ceremony and quickly got the bridal party photos done without any visible shivering. On top of the gorgeous bridal portraits, Paul and Rachel were able to capture all of the personality and fun on the dance floor at the reception as well. In addition to their tireless efforts during the day, Paul had a monitor looping photos from earlier in the day at the reception; my guests and I were in total awe!! We were also so happy to take home a small album of photos from the day so we could start showing friends and family... that was truly the icing on the cake. They say you get what you pay for and with Paul Francis Photography, I felt like we got all that we paid for and even more, down to the smallest, thoughtful details. Thank you, Paul and Rachel, for capturing the most amazing day of our lives so beautifully!

Paul and his team went ABOVE AND BEYOND on our wedding day. He was professional, fun and friendly. All expectations I had of Paul were COMPLETELY surpassed. He set up a MacBook with same day edits, as well as, gave us a small photo book of the same day edits. I was in tears. I was very confident in Paul and his team, but he truly made our day so easy and fun. I cannot thank Paul enough for everything we did for us - from engagement shoot to our wedding day. He spent HOURS researching our venue for the perfect location for shots. We only saw the same day edits, and I cannot say enough amazing things about Paul and his team.

Choosing Paul and his team as our wedding photographers was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding. From our initial discussion pre-booking through to the end of our reception Paul was kind, professional, and detail-oriented. We had a very tight timeline on our wedding day, but we never once felt stressed or worried because Paul kept us all on schedule and kept everyone at ease. And, I am usually fairly uncomfortable when I know candid photos are being taken or when taking photos by myself, but Paul made both me and my husband feel very comfortable, and it shows in the photos. It honestly felt like we had a friend working as our photographer. Our photos are beautiful, AND working with Paul, Rachel, and Christian was an absolute pleasure. Choosing Paul as our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions my husband and I made throughout the wedding planning process. After canceling with a prior photographer, I was in a panic to find the perfect photographer for my wedding day. Paul responded to my initial message almost instantly and from then on he continued to be such a pleasure to work with. Knowing our unique situation, Paul fit us into his busy schedule for an engagement session right away. Throughout the entire process, Paul continued to communicate with me to answer questions, asked for updates, and was always willing to provide his advice and suggestions. From the minute he arrived on my wedding day, he was professional, calm, and fun! He made me, my husband, and our bridal party feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I recommend Paul to everyone! One of my good friends is using him at her wedding after she saw our engagement photos and another friend just contacted him about her wedding. He was 100% our favorite vendor! Not only are his photos breathtaking but he is exactly the type of person who you want with you on your wedding day. He has such a calming presence! We first used him for our engagement photos. He was flexible and took incredible photos in the greenery of Central Park and then in Brooklyn with the Manhattan skyline in the background and the sun setting. We decided pretty last minute about making the trek to Brooklyn as the second location and he was totally on board. Before the wedding he checked in about any specific shots we wanted and followed through on every single request. I was very stressed about rain (the day before was predicting 96% thunderstorms) and he explained that even if it rained we would be able to get outside and the photos would be beautiful regardless. The weather ended up being perfect but I still knew that he had it covered either way. He also had a very organized and efficient process for making sure all the family photos get done quickly and with the right people. We are so happy with our photos from the wedding. His photos capture the moments so perfectly and then he also has some amazing, artistic, soft ones that I swear look like they're meant for a magazine. He also got us our photos in less than a month! I am SO happy that we chose Paul for our wedding photography. I saw pictures of a friend's wedding that he shot and they were probably the most beautiful wedding pictures I've ever seen. From our first interaction, he was so nice, flexible and willing to fit within our budget and what we wanted from the pictures. Throughout the process, we talked with Paul off-and-on so that we worked on everything throughout and not just all at once in a hurry. I felt like his organization and professionalism made the wedding planning process significantly less stressful. On our wedding day, Paul was on-time, extremely professional, creative and just fun. He had great ideas and he knew the venue already. He knew how to interact with our bridal party and families so they were having fun but getting the shots we needed. Overall, we were very very happy with our choice to have Paul as our photographer. We also used him for the photobooth which was super fun and we got digital copies of all of them to see! Choosing Paul was one of the very first and absolute best decisions I made for my wedding. My husband and I are not the most comfortable being the center of attention, nor being in front of a camera; however we do have an appreciation for aesthetics and like things to look nice! We also don't take ourselves/life too seriously, so this posed a problem when planning a wedding ourselves. This is where Paul came in. From the very first phone call, I could tell Paul was an absolute professional, a talented artist, a romantic himself and someone who would take our day extremely seriously. He already was asking questions about timing of our ceremony so he could plan for the sunset! He never pushed, instead he actively listened and proposed ideas that suited us. We opted for the engagement shoot so we could see what it was like to have our picture taken, and meet Paul in advance. BEST DECISION. This is what took any anxiety I had about wedding photos completely off my plate for the next year that we planned our wedding. My wedding day experience, from start to finish, was more than anything I could have asked for. And I owe this to Paul. His presence was calming and necessary. He kept us on a schedule, and captured the most beautiful, natural moments through out the day/night, without me ever feeling like I was "on display." I was very present minded & genuinely experiencing everything the entire time. And can I just say, that every single picture is beautiful? Natural, Genuine, Authentic... while all the while Artistic, Beautiful, Captivating! But I think the sweetest thing of it all, was that Paul put together a photo album for my husband and I to have and take with us at the end of the night. It meant so much to have those photos with us on our Honeymoon and be able to have with us for the holidays when we got back. Paul and his team are the absolute best, and I look forward to the day our paths cross again! THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Paul and his team are incredible. They worked a 12 hour day - with an unexpected snow storm - and were professional, polite, and in good spirits all day. We trusted Paul from our first phone call -- he looked up the time the sun would set on our wedding day, over a year in advance, and we knew we were in good hands. He is meticulous in his prep, which is so important in making sure the day goes as planned. His team handled a large bridal party and family, and were able to capture both posed photos and candid moments with ease. He is clearly respected by both his team and other vendors, making everyone feel comfortable all day, enabling the best photos. He's never in the way, though his photos reflect being right in the middle of the action. Most importantly, he communicates well and was responsive both before and after the wedding. He runs a small business as effectively as a large studio, making it ideal for clients - top notch service with high quality results. Our finished photos were ready in record time and he assisted in putting our beautiful album together. There are so many other reasons we loved working with Paul, but the bottom line is we are forever grateful for his work!

There are not enough good things that I can say about Paul and his fabulous team! I was so impressed with Paul's professional and caring approach from the moment I contacted him to putting together our wedding album. When I was looking for a photographer for my wedding, I knew I wanted someone who could capture genuine, candid photos. During the day of our wedding, Paul and his team were so organized and so great at making sure to capture beautiful moments throughout the day without being intrusive. I frequently look at my wedding photos and it truly feels like we are reliving the day! Paul made it his business to make the day special for us and to take pictures that will last us a lifetime. Another huge plus was that Paul and his team worked so well with our wedding planner, our videographers, and the other vendors. I cannot even begin to express how happy I was to work with Paul for my wedding. He is extremely responsive to email and is available via phone as well. We would set a day and time to speak on the phone and he was always timely and prepared. Most importantly Paul is a genuine salt of the earth kind of guy. He is very calm which I appreciated. He spoke to me in a respectful manner and has worked with my extreme indecisiveness. He truly understands that a wedding is extremely important for everyone including family and friends and wants to make sure he can facilitate the story of the entire day. He was flexible - we have a disabled family member that required time sensitive pictures and did not fit the typical framework. He did not bat an eyelash at our special requests and understood just how important these pictures were. These are real pictures. There may be a shadow, not a distracting shadow, but that is real. They are high quality pieces of art. He is reliable and trustworthy. I have no doubt that I selected the most amazing photographer.
He also did our engagement photographs. I wanted really gritty NYC pictures which we did get, but he also convinced us to do some central park pictures and they are AMAZING! He really worked hard to make us comfortable and to get to know us to tell our story and not make us fit into a typical cookie cutter pattern of pictures. Overall Paul is a genuine nice guy with an eye for pictures and a heart of gold that he uses to understand the couple's story and weave the wedding photos into. You will not regret picking Paul Francis Photography!

Paul was absolutely wonderful and did an amazing job capturing our day. He was a pleasure to work with, and very professional and organized. As I had many things going on that day, I had nothing to worry about in means of photography. He created a schedule with me and ensured that we were able to capture everything I wanted while having the day go by smoothly and efficiently. We opted for the option of the second photographer and Anne was a pleasure as well. They surprised us with displaying a quick digital photo gallery at the reception and the pictures were gorgeous! The guests loved being able to see some shots of us getting ready and such immediately. I can't tell you how many people asked me for his information, as his pictures are breath taking. The hotel who hosted our wedding even asked for his information, as he captured the beauty of the site so well. Based on the wise words of family and friends, “Your wedding day will fly by in the blink but you will always have your photographs to look back on”. For this reason, I put a great deal of effort into researching photographers for our special day. As soon as we met with Paul (over two years ago!) we were highly impressed by his genuine personality, professional demeanor, stunning portfolio, organizational skills, and rave reviews.

Throughout the planning process, Paul was so helpful with answering any question that I had and allowing me to bounce ideas off of him. He did a wonderful job crafting a day of schedule to help ensure that important key shots and locations were captured.

During the day of the wedding, Paul and his team, Rachel and Anne, were so wonderful and efficient. They helped to keep me calm and to keep things moving. They did a phenomenal job orchestrating shots of my large bridal party and capturing family portraits in a timely manner. Paul and his team did a fantastic job of being present, by checking in throughout the evening if there were any pictures we still wanted to take, and at the same time not being obtrusive. My officiant even noted that she barely noticed that they were there!

To our surprise, Paul and his talented team put together a stunning highlight reel, which was so beautifully displayed during the reception. We also loved the thoughtful album that we received at the end of the night.

Paul, thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for capturing such beautiful and timeless photos. We can’t wait to see the rest!

Choosing Paul to photograph our wedding was the best decision we made. Leading up to our big day, he was extremely organized and basically served two roles as photographer & wedding planner. He would frequently check in with me and help me think about the logistics of the day. He created lists that were helpful for organizing, offered suggestions of what is "typically done" but was always willing to adjust based on our needs. On the day of the wedding I was super nervous and his professionalism and warmth helped me to keep calm. He knew when to be there taking pictures and when to give me space to be with my bridesmaids. He had great suggestions for the couples portraits and helped us feel natural/happy. He is a true artist who can capture the beauty of his surroundings and make his subjects feel magical! I knew that I wanted to work with Paul from the moment I found his photos online of the very same venue where we were planning to get married. He had captured the location and the happy couple so beautifully that I knew he would do an amazing job for us. When we had the opportunity to meet him via Skype, we felt immediately comfortable with him, and I knew that if I had to have someone following me around for an entire day, I'd be pretty happy if that person was Paul! We had an engagement shoot with him and had a great time and the pictures were beautiful! On the day of the wedding, he was, as expected, very easy to work with - as was his entire team. In addition to the beautiful photos he provided us after the event, the most touching moment was right before he left the reception, when he presented us with bound book of pictures from the day! I'll never know how he worked his magic to accomplish this so quickly, but it brought tears to our eyes to be able to see the special memories that we created that day within hours. We knew we wanted Paul to photograph our wedding from the very beginning and we were so happy that he was available! He made the whole process easy and the timeline he created for us was a lifesaver! The priest even commented how we were actually starting on time! And it was all because of Paul. The photos he took are breathtaking and we couldn't have asked for anything more! We could not have been happier with Paul! Neither my husband nor I are big picture people so we were a little nervous about finding a photographer that we could be comfortable with. We ABSOLUTELY found this in Paul. He had been the photographer at one of my best friend's weddings and it was an incredibly hot day and I was so impressed with the way he worked to make sure that the bride and the bridal party didn’t waste time when we were outside without making us feel rushed either– he knew exactly what he wanted to capture and her pictures were stunning. He was the exact same way with us when it was 30 degrees on our wedding day!
We had our first conversation over the phone and immediately liked Paul. He was easy to talk to and you could tell he was passionate about what he does. We ended up having a ton of fun with Paul at our engagement shoot and he made us feel so comfortable. Paul was incredibly organized and had a few links that he asked us to complete at our leisure. This gave him all of the information that he needed, helped us understand what photos we wanted and help plan the schedule of the day. In addition, our pre-wedding discussion ran so smoothly because it was just re-confirming and asking questions rather than having to go through everything and hoping we didn’t forget anything. His day-of team was also amazing and proactive and incredibly friendly as well. We’ve already received our preview pictures and WOW, they so much more than we could have ever imagined. Paul is both incredibly talented and a lot of fun to work with!

Paul did our engagement photos and I can't emphasize enough how amazing he is! The experience was not only enjoyable, fun, and romantic for my fiancé and I, but the photos came out GORGEOUS!! When planning our wedding, the most important thing to us was to have great pictures because they will last a lifetime. We are so happy we chose Paul Francis Photography. Our photos came out absolutely stunning and we will cherish them for years to come. Paul captured our wedding so well. I cannot chose a favorite photo because they're all stunning and each hold a special memory of that day. We cannot imagine choosing anyone else to photograph our wedding.

Paul's work speaks for itself---it's perfection, beautiful, and professional. We loved working with Paul. He made everything so easy with his online forms (that you can constantly update---and I did) and was responsive to our questions. On our wedding day, he kept everyone on time without feeling rushed or stressed. We are a bit camera shy, but Paul made us feel comfortable and gave us space to enjoy being with each other. When we got our photos back I was amazed at some of the angles and how close the photos were, because he was never intrusive. It really just felt like it was just us.

At the reception, he set up a slideshow of some of the pictures taken that day and gave us an album as a gift. We were blown away by the pictures and have no idea how he had time to print them. Him and his team had been with us all day! It made our day extra special and held us over until we received our photos. That kind of thoughtfulness and attention to detail was present throughout working with Paul and shows in our photos.

First off, Paul is not just a photographer. From the minute you speak with him, he quickly becomes a friend. He radiates kindness – thoughtful and punctual, he was always offering insight and advice. He is everything a bride and groom need to ease the stresses of planning a wedding. Just as important as his character is his photography. After booking our venue, finding a photographer was first on my list. I knew I wanted a style that would stand the test of time. When I clicked on Paul’s blog, I instantly knew this was it. His attention to detail made each post feel as though I attended these couples’ weddings. He encompassed the entire day from start to finish without having to post a ton of photos. His style is clean, classic, and in the moment. I emailed Paul right away and so began our journey together. He helped us find our church for the ceremony since I did not live in the area, he brainstormed ideas with us to match our theme, and provided countless other kind gestures we will always look back on and smile at. As for our photos, there is not a single one we dislike, which is crazy because of how many photos were taken! Our photos look so natural (not posed) and you can genuinely see how happy we are in the moment. Paul captured the essence of us. We received all of our photos in record time, and even saw some the night of our wedding with a surprise slideshow! Working with Paul has been an absolute pleasure. From our very first meeting, through the wedding day and even now as we finalize the album design, Paul has been outstanding! We started working with Paul about a year before our wedding for our engagement shoot. He made us feel comfortable and relaxed, and it was great to watch him get creative and excited during the shoot. Throughout the buildup to the wedding he was so organized and responsive. Paul took the time to get to know us and that made us feel all the more comfortable. He gave us suggestions but also made sure to cater to our preferences. He even helped with planning suggestions not related to photography to help make sure our day went smoothly. On our wedding day he and his assistants Rachel and Anne were warm and professional. Paul has such a calming demeanor, in the flurry of the day he was relaxed, but also very organized and mindful of keeping on schedule. We had an extensive list of specific photos we needed to get with our families. When it came time to take those photos after our ceremony, he was very well organized and referred to our family members by name, which made the whole process run very smoothly. During our couple's portraits we felt completely at ease. It was a nice break in the action of the day where we felt like we were on our own private date! Paul and his team didn't rush us, and really went above and beyond to get some amazing shots. Anne even let me borrow her shoes to walk through a garden so that my heels wouldn't sink into the dirt! We trusted his creativity and his ideas, and we couldn't be happier with the photos that we're going to look at for the rest of our lives. At the reception he checked in with us to see if there were any more photos that we wanted to get, and gave us a lot of personal attention. There are very few words to describe the incredible talent that Paul has. From each step of the way, he was genuine, helpful, and caring. He truly looked at my husband and I as more than a customer and for that we were grateful. When planning our timeline, Paul called me and worked through my reservations and frustrations with certain things, offering input from his experience but not pushing us either way. We felt like we have known him forever. On our wedding day, he was prompt and had the timeline in hand. Because of his careful planning, we were able to stay exactly on schedule. Because of that, we were not rushed or stressed. We had even more time to enjoy all of our cocktail hour with our guests. To my surprise, Paul had set up a slideshow in the reception of the pictures that were taken that day for my guests to see. We even received a picture book at the end to hold us over. Paul is a caring and meticulous person and made sure everything that he did for us was perfect. I truly could not imagine having anyone else for my wedding and he was worth every penny. My husband and I were married in August of 2015 and choosing to work with Paul and his team was one of the best decisions we made in regards to our wedding plans. My wedding day would not have been the same without Paul. When my husband and I initially met with Paul, we could not believe how warm and personal he was. He even made us freshly baked chocolate cookies for the meeting! His overall persona made me feel confident in his abilities to capture our special day. This was reinforced during our engagement photo shoot. He really knows how to get couples to make the best faces for pictures and bring personality to the shot. The day of the wedding went even better than I anticipated. He brought an itemized list of all the pictures I requested and made sure we had enough time for each and every one. Paul made the wedding photography experience personalized from the beginning. He works to get to know a couple well. He communicated often and was always timely with answers. He was more than accomodating with all of my wedding day requests and went out of his way to prepare and confirm all the details with me. I also had my wedding album within 2 months of my wedding, and would have been sooner if I hadn't taken so long to choose photos! His photography is amazing. What I love most about Paul’s work is that he really knows how to get the best out of every picture. Paul is an expert when it comes to lighting and photography and it really shows in the pictures. I don’t know much about photography, but what I do know is that Paul’s pictures stand out and you can tell instantaneously that the quality of the photos are exceptional. Not only does Paul take great pictures, but he is such a nice person and extremely organized. I didn’t realize the important role that scheduling plays in your wedding day, but Paul made it his priority to ensure everything ran according to plan and on time. This is really important because as a result, my husband and I didn’t have to rush through our couples pictures and were still able to enjoy every bit of the wedding since the pictures were done so efficiently. Paul really cares about his clients and he will work with you in detail weeks prior to your wedding day to ensure all your needs and requests are met. I highly recommend using Paul for your big day – your pictures are so important in keeping the memory of wedding day alive and Paul did a great job not only capturing our day, but producing beautiful photographs!

There are honestly so many positive things to say about Paul that I do not know where to start. I had originally viewed Paul's work from someone I had attended high school with and instantly fell in love with his talent. Paul's breathtaking photos were exactly the look I was going for and as soon as I got engaged I called him right away. From the very first meeting Paul was professional, down to Earth, and made us feel incredibly comfortable. These qualities were only enhanced during our engagement shoot; so much, in fact, that my fiancé who initially told me on our way to the shoot that he didn't know what to expect left the day with a smile beaming, saying how awesome it was! Those photos came out BEAUTIFUL and truly captured our love and excitement for each other. Throughout the time of my engagement Paul made me feel at ease and confident each step of the way. Then, our wedding day came and Paul, his assistant, and our second shooter honestly fully exceeded our already high expectations. By this point I was so excited for my wedding and our pictures and Paul equally shared in our excitement! He showed me pictures as we went which just boosted my excitement higher and he truly made my girls and I feel (and look of course!) stunning. Paul was so efficient in taking all of our photos, and, as always, creating a comfort between us all the entire time. He knew what was important to us and was sure to capture everything we were looking for throughout the night. In the middle of the night there were already pictures being played on a slideshow and we were given unedited, same day photos in an album before we left! My husband and I cannot stop looking at the amazing photos! Working with Paul was honestly the most wonderful experience and now we have gained a friend! In short, I HIGHLY recommend using Paul, his work speaks for itself and he will create an everlasting experience for you. Not just an out of this world photographer but also a great person! My husband and I found Paul through a google search for local photographers in the Summit, NJ area and a recommendation from a friend. We could not be happier with our decision. Paul is personable and passionate about his work. He dedicates himself and his time to his making sure he captures the essence of your day. He was extremely professional and always made us 100% confident that the final product would be perfect. He insured the pictures taken were the pictures we wanted not what your family or guests dictated. He has amazing insight and artistic eye to catch the perfect candid moments depicting you and your loved ones personalities. He met with us several times prior to the wedding to finalize details for us and make sure the day would run smoothly. At times, he was our backup wedding planner to keep things moving according to schedule. My husband and I greatly appreciated his professionalism, organization and flexibility. Paul was also great at working with us from a distance as we live in Washington state. He would set up meetings later in the evening to accommodate our work schedules and time difference. Most importantly, the end produce is PHENOMENAL! Our pictures are absolutely top notch. Paul was efficient in getting our pictures back to us as well, the fastest I've seen! I have looked at them at least a hundred times since we have them. Our family and friends cannot stop raving about the quality. We were able to instantly view some preview pictures the same day. Paul has an eye that truly captures the emotions of the day. We could not speak more highly of the quality of pictures Paul and his team produced. His customer service is top notch. Working with Paul and his team was simply amazing! When we initially met with him at his office, he was very welcoming and clearly described his photography style and approach to weddings. Once we discussed what we wanted in a photographer and what kind of styles we were draw to, it was clear that Paul understood exactly what we were looking for. In the weeks and months leading up to the wedding, Paul was in continual contact with us; helping us craft a schedule for the day, working with us to figure out exactly what photos we wanted, and also just getting to know us and our story. He was really calm and supportive, assuring me everything would be perfect even when it looked like it was going to pour rain for our outdoor wedding and when a button on my dress broke and we started running late in the morning. On the day of our wedding, he and an assistant went to my parent's house while his wife met my husband and the groomsmen at their hotel. After taking several getting ready photos, we all met at the venue for first look photos. Paul and his team were incredibly easy to work with, and made us feel completely relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. During the ceremony and reception, we barely noticed their presence yet they were able to capture all of the most important moments of the wedding both big and small. Paul had been to our venue on numerous occasions and was very knowledgeable about where to go for the best photos throughout the afternoon/evening. Since the wedding, he has been great with providing us our photos, as well as working with us on our wedding album. Paul and his team exceeded all of our expectations. We would absolutely recommend him to anyone without reservations!

Paul Francis photography totally blew us away! We wanted to find a photographer who was creative, professional and fit our budget. After we met Paul and had our engagement photos done with him, I knew we had made the right choice. He helped us put together our timeline for the day and kept me calm leading up to the wedding as well as the day of (not an easy feat!) and went above and beyond in every aspect. Our photographs are just breathtaking. My friends who work in fashion design, wedding planning and for Martha Stewart agree! Paul Francis Photography is amazing!! Choosing Paul as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

When we first met Paul for an initial consultation, we ended up chatting for over 2 hours! Paul is one of the nicest and most genuine people I have ever met. He showed us a lot of his previous work so we could get a good feel for his style and he answered any questions we had. When we left the consultation, we knew that Paul was going to be our photographer - we didn't even need to visit the rest of the photographers on our list.

Paul and I communicated a lot before the wedding, and Paul always responded very quickly. He gets all of the details about your wedding so he can plan properly for the day. He even created a wedding day schedule for us so we had an idea of what time everything should be happening (times girls should be ready, etc.), which was great and kept the wedding day stress-free. He is so organized and I knew we were in great hands for the wedding.

On the actual wedding day, he made us feel so comfortable with his kind and gentle personality, and was so professional in his approach. He described how the pictures would appear based on his techniques; using natural lighting and capturing authentic interactions. He also used both digital and film which gave us a variety of different pictures. We really felt certain that we would love the outcome! Throughout the remainder of the day, he required no attention from us, but he was always nearby capturing candid moments at the most perfect times.

After seeing our pictures, we could not be happier! They turned out so perfect and everyone is giving us so many compliments. We can't wait to work with Paul to start to put together our wedding album!

Paul and Carolyn were absolutely amazing photographers! They captured the most special and beautiful moments in a non-intrusive, natural, and creative manner. I was specifically worried about photos looking too posed or artificial and too much/too little direction. However, he knew exactly what to say to make everyone's expression seem genuine and to make all feel at ease. Every single photograph is stunning. He also used both digital and film, which we love! Paul is completely on top of his craft with ample preparation and communication in advance of the wedding to ensure things run smooth and timely on the actual day. Paul stayed on top of the photo locations, which family members needed to stick around for photos, and even the weather! For preparation, Carolyn met with Josh (my husband) and Paul met with me and the bridesmaids and it was perfect. Throughout the evening, I hardly noticed their presence and was so grateful to see all the moments they captured at the ceremony and reception.

So, you'd be absolutely crazy not to pick Paul and Carolyn. They are simply the best out there! We are forever grateful!

Paul and Carolyn are nothing short of amazing. Great to work with and super easy to be around. I was in awe of our photos when I saw them. Paul makes it really easy to be yourself and relax in front of the camera. My girls and I had a blast with him. Carolyn and Paul also have a great eye for romantic photos, the poses we did came out so beautiful and relaxed. None of the pictures look staged! It was amazing. Both of our parents thought they were great and really accommodating and got all of the pictures they wanted. I would suggest them to anyone. They are true artists.

All of my friends know that I have the worst anxiety when planning events, so when I was extremely calm the week leading up to the wedding, everyone was asking what was up. Here's the key: hire vendors that are well organized, professional, and see your vision.

Paul and Carolyn's organization and professionalism shined in how they keep in touch throughout the entire time leading up to your wedding. They are very quick to respond to any question or concern to make you feel at ease. My greatest worry during the planning process was trying to create a timeline for the wedding day, and I was so relieved when Paul emailed me to give me an update saying he was working on a timeline for me (I almost had to stop myself from asking if he can also write my lesson plans). His timeline included everything including who needed to be where and when from just us to our bridal party, and family members.

Paul and Carolyn's photography style is exactly what we wanted for our photos and to remember our day. Paul's love of architecture and lighting played beautifully in our first look and Center City bridal party photos. We then moved on to a park in Old City and you could tell how excited he was about shooting the lush greens and florals in our couple's portraits. The way Paul and Carolyn are able to envision two vastly different backdrops and capture equally stunning photographs is very telling of how talented these two photographers are.

We cannot express enough how happy we are that it was Paul who was with us, he truly is not only
exceptional at what he does, but he is also simply a wonderful person. From the moment we met him, we knew we wanted him to be our photographer, he has a great attention to detail and impeccably organized. From all of my last minute questions to the ring bearer needing to go to the emergency room, he took it all in stride and made sure that we got all the photos we wanted. We also did a photobooth through him, and our guests and us had a blast! He brought a great calmness to our day and helped us to truly focus on what matters, each other, and we cannot thank him enough for that. We thank him for his patience, kindness and the joy he showed us all day long. As we walked back to the hotel together, we both looked at one another smiling and unanimously agreed that he was our favorite person of the day and we could not have worked with anyone better. We had an amazing day and he helped to make sure of that. We received so many compliments on his photographs of us, our friends and family were amazed at his beautiful work, and the surprise book at the end of the night almost made me cry. Last night he sent us our photographs, and they were just as expected... Amazing! We would choose Paul all over again, you cannot put a price on someone capturing beautiful memories of your day and moments you forgot happened (because the day goes so fast!), Paul captured our day exactly how we remembered it, we could not be happier :) Thank you Paul!!!!

First, Book Paul Francis Photography before you finish reading the review! This way, you'll definitely have the best wedding photos you could ever imagine!! Paul is such a professional! My husband-to-be and I met with him and instantly knew he'd be perfect. As a designer my self, I wanted a certain high-end photo journalist style. Paul's portfolio & blog speak for itself, but let me tell you his pictures are phenomenal! After the wedding is complete, you only have the memories & the photographs-so make sure that they are amazing. I had friends & relatives attend our wedding that were also engaged. After they met Paul & saw some of his photos, they tried to break their contract with whatever other photographer they had! He is really simply amazing. His personality, professionalism, creativity, and sense of humor make him such an amazing person. He has such a quiet confidence and wonderful eye for capturing the most amazing moments. Our wedding day was perfect, despite some rain and he couldn't have been more calm! We didn't mind getting a little wet but he offered to run down from the barn and get us an umbrella too! In addition to the wedding photography, I'd also personally recommend having an engagement shoot to get to know him & feel comfortable, so on your big day you'll know what to expect, since there is a lot of time with just the three of you! The photo booth option worked out really well for us too. It got our guests really involved and gave us some great funny pictures! Paul is a fantastic photographer and was a key component to our wedding going so smoothly. He came up with a schedule so we knew when we had to be ready and when different groups from our wedding party could go to the venue and made sure we got there on time. From our first meeting, he was very organized and ran everything by us well ahead of time to get our approval. Initially my husband and I had wanted first look pictures on the beach but he scoped it out that day again and saw that it was a bit crowded at that time because it was such a beautiful warm day. He wanted something more secluded for us and found a fantastic, very private spot by our condo with a nice tree to shade us. It looked like we were meeting by a garden wall in Europe. It was perfect! Overall it was a very easy experience all around and he is super nice, helpful, creative, and friendly as was his assistant. We love our pictures and we had our final beautiful product in hand 1 month to the day of the wedding. Start to finish -- superb!

I found Paul and Carolyn browsing through weddingwire vendors and fell in love with their photos instantly. Their photos focus on the couples and the face and emotion and bring the sensual personal touch to each of them. and to top it off, they were a delight to work with! Such loving couple themselves, they were able to make us feel at ease and capture the moments beautifully. They are great at responding back to your emails and just make the wedding planning experience abit easier and less stressful. Photography was very important to my now-husband and me. We spent a lot of time researching photographers and we felt overwhelmed. Then I came across Paul and Carolyn. JACKPOT! Their work impressed us. We loved their use of natural light and their pictures were bright, romantic and elegant.
So we contacted them. We were blown away. They were this fun, young, married couple full of life, down to earth and so in love. From our first meeting at their house, where they offered us homemade cookies, we felt like we were talking to old friends rather than a vendor. Then unexpectedly, I got a package from them with wedding magazines and a sweet letter encouraging us to enjoy the wedding planning process together. That’s the level of service and personal time you can expect with Paul and Carolyn. They make you feel like your wedding is the only wedding they’re working on and it’s as important to them as it is to you.
Not only are they great people, they are professionals. In every sense of the word. Every email got a prompt response, every question was answered thoroughly, every concern was discussed and resolved. Paul and Carolyn made note of every suggestion, idea, concern we had so they could make us feel comfortable and our pictures personal to us. On our wedding day, Paul kept us on schedule, he was kind and respectful to all of our guests, and he captured the moments even we didn’t get to see!
As an insecure bride, I was nervous about how I would look in pictures but Paul knows how to make a girl feel and look beautiful. I had no idea what to expect but I loved every picture he took of me. He has the ability to capture the pure joy, love and that bridal glow that every bride has on their wedding day.

I cannot say enough good things about Paul and Carolyn and the work they do. We hired them for our engagement and wedding photographs, and everything turned out beautifully. They're easy going and fun to work with, and there's genuine soul there--they love what they do and it shows through in the photos. They're very present in the moment as well, fully engaged with the bride, groom, family and friends.
At the reception they set up a monitor so people could preview some of the photos taken just a few hours before in the park with the wedding party. So many guests came up to us to say how impressed they were with Paul and Carolyn's work, and that they were going to recommend them to their friends and family (if not hire them themselves).
They're also people of integrity. In the chaos right before the wedding, I made an error on a check and overpaid by a few hundred dollars. I'm really not sure I would have noticed because so much else was going on, but Paul notified me of this right away and I was able to write out a new check for the correct amount. There aren't many people these days who would do something like that, but Paul and Carolyn would. They're a great couple who take amazing photos, they're wonderful people, and I'd hire them again in an instant.

Paul and Carolyn are extremely talented photographers. We spent a lot of time trying to find photographers in NJ and were thrilled when we came across their work. Paul and Carolyn are absolutely amazing!! They are so professional, organized, quick to respond to phone calls and emails, and highly skilled. And on top of all that, they are so sweet! It felt like we had known them forever! They have this natural ability to make you feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera. They were able to get amazing shots without ever being in the way, it was almost like they weren't even there! Paul made a timeline for the wedding day and he stuck to it, pulling it out and checking it against the time to make sure everything was running smoothly and on schedule. Paul and Carolyn made the entire process stress-free, from the very first meeting up to the very last photograph at the wedding. They surprised us with a same day slideshow at the wedding and people could not stop talking about how stunning all of the pictures were! Paul and Carolyn. What can I say. These two are PROS. My now-husband and I planned our east coast wedding from the west coast, so we weren't able to meet them until the day of our wedding. But what immediately struck us about the work of theirs that we saw online was their tasteful and classic eye for capturing the most important moments of a wedding day. They not only brought that level of taste to their finished work but also to the day itself. Everyone loved them, and we were not the most photo-friendly crew- lots of insecurity to deal with, and they definitely brought out the best in all of us. They also have the air of being generally great people, and being surrounded by positivity was very, very important on a day with a lot of family drama! Now, to the work itself: my uncle who is an amateur photographer but also very discerning about others' work told me repeatedly at the wedding that my camera crew was amazing (they had preview photos on a monitor in the ballroom). And I didn't need the reinforcement, but he was definitely right. They are the very best and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

I can not recommend Paul Francis Photography highly enough. Paul and Carolyn were a joy to work with and their love for photography (and each other!) shines in their work. From our first meeting through the waning hours of our reception, they were open and receptive to our ideas and vision for our wedding.
We had an overcast day that turned to rain later in the evening--I say this because with these two you can have no worries about capturing great shots on your day no matter what weather you have! Paul was able to create an amazing shot on the beach at night that my husband and I were really hoping for, even in the middle of a storm!

We felt so relaxed and comfortable taking our photos with Paul that it made our experience that much better. Also, our family and friends could NOT get over the photo slide show they previewed at our reception. Friends, family and coworkers continue to ask who we used for photography when they see our photos.

Paul and Carolyn were hands down my husband and I's favorite vendor. From our first initial meeting at their cozy home till now they have constantly made us feel so special. Not only are they both very talented, they are the most kind people and such a cute couple as well. They are are the type of people that you immediately feel like you have known forever. My husband and I were a little nervous about our engagement session because naturally we never did a photo shoot before, but when Paul and Carolyn were taking pictures we felt like they weren't even there, it was so natural. (We highly recommend during an engagement session with them as well as your wedding photos the engagement session was such a romantic day we will always remember) On our wedding day were were under a lot of time restrictions but Paul and Carolyn were so efficient and made us feel so calm and at ease the whole entire day. Also on our wedding day, they surprised us with a same day photo slideshow during our reception. Everybody loved this touch. I also loved that the both of them genuinely were so happy for us on our wedding day and also looked like they were having a lot of fun as well. This couple absolutely loves what they do and it shows through their amazing photography. My friends and family already know how awesome these two are so my recommendation of them is without question.

Paul and Carolyn went above and beyond our expectations from the beginning. We met over skype because my fiance and I live in CO, and they were so friendly and warm we knew they were a great fit. Not only did they take amazing photos, they helped keep the day on my timeline and kept the mood fun and relaxed. They even kept smiling in the 100 plus heat, when the rest of us were sweating like crazy. They also had a few surprises for us that we loved!!! All our guests loved the pictures, they did an amazing job capturing exactly what we wanted!

Paul and Carolyn Tomasello were amazing! From the second we met with them in their home, two things struck us: 1. it was immediately apparent how warm and friendly they are. They immediately made us feel like we were part of their family with their welcoming personalities. They are just very genuine, solid people. and 2. How passionate they are about their work. Paul and Carolyn made us feel like our wedding was one of the most important days in THEIR lives. It truly was impressive. They were well-organized and interested in fulfilling our specific requests and catering to our style. They were also extremely responsive, always getting back to us super quickly whether it was before we even booked with them, pre-wedding as we worked out logistics, or after the wedding when we were getting our photos. Their style, which is a major reason we chose them, is clean and bright and modern. We got the pictures very quickly after our wedding and we love them so much. They are artistic and crisp, and capture us extremely well as a couple. Paul and Carolyn were also very easy to work with in that they were flexible. We modified the photography schedule of the wedding day multiple times leading up to the wedding and they were always extremely understanding and accommodating. During the wedding, it felt totally natural to have them around and nothing felt forced, which is great. Paul was always looking for the best shot, even if he had to climb on a wall in Central Park or run around in 95 degree heat. We are extremely happy with how our wedding photographs turned out, we will treasure them forever, and we would recommend Paul and Carolyn to anyone! If we could, we'd give them ten stars!!!!

I was nervous about all the pictures being taken throughout the day. Overall, I do not love having pictures taken. Paul and Caroline of Paul Francis Photography made the day so special. I was put at ease throughout the day. They went the extra mile to make sure everyone was cared for - helping the bridesmaids into cars in the snow and responding to any need. They were very accommodating to last minute changes and requests. They took amazing pictures! We loved having them! Recommended!

What a joy to work with Paul and Caroline! Our day turned out to be better than my wife and I could have ever dreamed. It was a wonderful day, a snowy day, that was captured so well by Paul Francis Photography. They took pictures from start to finish, truly telling the story of this most important day of our lives. They were there and captured it all - BUT they did so without ever getting in the way. It was like they were not even there, but mixed in so well, getting photos we requested and taking pictures they know are so important. They were easy to work with and were very efficient. Family and wedding party photos went quick and painlessly. They captured moments and took pictures that are breathtaking. It was so exciting to have our viewing session to see all the pictures. Paul did a great job and captured our day beautifully. His wife Carolyn also did a fantastic job, they are a great team. They are very professional and captured great moments throughout our day, from the preparations at our parent’s homes to the church to the reception. The park Paul chose between the church and the reception was absolutely beautiful, we didn't have much time to take pictures due to our tight schedule but Paul and Carolyn hustled to get everything done. Our guests especially liked the slideshow that was setup near the bar at our reception.

Paul is a great photographer that pays attention to detail and has a thorough understanding of the art, we will surely recommend him to all our family and friends.

Paul and Carolyn are an amazing pair. For the past few years, I had been following their blog that is filled with their amazing photography. As soon as we got engaged, Paul was the first vendor I got in touch with. I knew I didn't want anyone else photographing our wedding. From the very first phone call up until our wedding day, all the details were dealt with in a professional and timely fashion so that when the day finally arrived, I was completely comfortable and relaxed. On the day of our wedding, Paul and Carolyn did a great job making my husband and I feel totally at ease in front of the camera. It's not every day someone is taking thousands of pictures of you and they made the experience not only painless but extremely enjoyable! The best part of the whole experience is that we did not have to wait to see pictures of our wedding! Paul and Carolyn set up a slide show that was displayed at the wedding reception, so our guests and us could see images of our wedding just hours after it had happened! We also received all of our pictures in a timely fashion. Our full CD was mailed to us just about six weeks after our wedding which we were extremely pleased with. As for the pictures themselves, they are breathtaking. I am in love with the way Paul and Carolyn were able to use natural light and capture not only a few, but several hundred beautifully artistic images that we will cherish for a lifetime. I feel they truly captured the entire essence of the day and the love between my husband and I. I can't say enough good things about the experience and am so grateful for the memories that can be relived through these amazing photos!

Paul and Carolyn were simply amazing. They were professional, reliable, and prompt. In fact, during my reception they posted photos on a monitor allowing my guests to instantly view their exquisite work. I did not have to worry about a single thing because they delivered exactly what I wanted in a noninvasive and stress-free way. I could not recommend them enough. Paul Francis Photography is simply amazing. I spent countless hours searching for the perfect photographer and when I found Paul's web site I felt I finally found a great match. After meeting with Paul in person at his studio, reviewing his remarkable portfolio and discussing packages, we developed our own custom package. Paul froze his butt off with us to get the perfect engagement photos and happily responded to every single email request that we had. He was by far our most responsive and available vendor. Paul and his wife and partner Carolyn are incredibly professional while still being congenial. I cannot even begin to describe the photographs they took. They are beyond perfect. We could not have asked for a better photographer. What I liked best about Paul was his passion and his talent. Both are immediately obvious when meeting him or looking through his work. We first met Paul during an engagement shoot. I was quickly comfortable with him and his energy was contagious. He was also very instructive. He has many great visions for shots and he brings them to life through clear directions. This helped me a lot as was not sure what I was supposed to be doing during the pictures. He blew away all our expectations. Paul and Caroline made a great team at our wedding when it came time for pictures. "Magazine quality", "You guys look amazing", "Your day was captured perfectly," and "Where can I order some prints?" were common things we heard from friends and family after receiving our photos back from Paul. To say they were everything we hoped for and more is an understatement. Paul captured our day the way no videographer or other photographer could. What makes Paul so unique is that he doesn't just take photos for people to flip through quickly, he takes photos so that every single photo is thought out and tells a story. He wants you to stop and look at each and every photo and see the story behind it.

What I really appreciated about Paul and Carolyn is the professional yet friendly demeanor they have. They truly are a team. Yes, it is a business, yes the wedding packages are a bit more than other photographers, but the experience and quality of photos is completely worth it. Paul and Carolyn really were an intricate part of my wedding and it honestly felt like working with longtime friends and not someone who I was paying a service for. They become invested in your wedding and take time to get to know you and your future spouse so that the photos capture your special day in a unique and individual way. No two weddings are the same when Paul is your photographer. Also, and I think this is an underrated value, Paul and Carolyn respect the special nature of the day. They don't just love weddings, they love marriage and they are very careful to make sure they are respecting the sanctity of the ceremony, which is something you do not think about until you've been to a wedding where there are photographers and video cameras going off every which way disturbing the intimacy of the ceremony.

I could go on and on about how amazing Paul and Carolyn are, but all it takes is to see their portfolio and meet this spectacular duo in person to realize that they are a must have at your wedding.

Paul was so great to work with! His photojournalistic style made him almost seem invisible on that day, allowing him to capture the true essence of the most beautiful, exciting, and memorable moments of our wedding day.
