I can only say great things about our officiant. I found her on the government website for wedding commissioners in Regina, Saskatchewan. I was a little worried going with someone who I did not know, but where do you start? You just have to pick from the list and hope for the best. I talked for a while on the phone with Patricia and already liked the sound of her voice. We met with her prior to the wedding to review how things would happen at our ceremony. She was very informative, professional and no-nonsense. She told us the do's and don'ts without making us feel silly and so we could plan for a seamless ceremony. The day of, she was helpful at gesturing unobtrusively where we were to stand (as we were unable to have her at our rehearsal) and what to do and say next when we were nervous or unsure. She was calm, polite, kind and efficient and put everyone at ease with her professional nature. She dressed neutrally and did not stand out, allowing us, the bride and groom to sparkle and shine. She came and left quietly. Everything you could want in an officiant! We really lucked out!
