Also, he is great if you want a ceremony performed by someone with religious training/seminary attendance - this can sometimes be hard to find if you are not affiliated with a church or are getting married "away from home."

Pastor Jon is the only officiant we met with when we were looking for someone to officiate our wedding. We loved his personality...very relaxed and easy-going, but very detailed and passionate at the same time. He is very patient and responsive to all of our questions. Planning is critical in a wedding ceremony and he helped us plan and decide what elements we want included. He discussed, in detail, with us what we are going to expect to happen during the ceremony and he sent us an order of service document with all the details of each element. All of our guests were pleased with how he officiated our wedding. We wanted a touching, Christian-themed ceremony, and we got just that! Pastor Jon performs all kinds of ceremonies and he does them just the way you want them...custom-made and no surprises. He even sent out our marriage license after the wedding, so it's one less thing we had to worry about. We will never forget the great quality of service he provided and we are sure our guests feel the same way. We recommend Pastor Jon to all the couples who plan to tie the knot. Pastor Jon Olson was an amazing choice for our officiant. He is such a warm, funny, and genuine person. It was really important to us to have a Pastor marry us, while still maintaining a personal and modern ceremony we ensvisioned. Pastor Jon definitely fit the bill. While being from a well-respected church, he has focused on wedding ceremonies and is an expert.

Jon works from you right from the beginning, asking what type of ceremony you want (from secular, to slightly religious, to totally religious) and really takes your inspiration, readings, and etc and incorporates your ideas. But if you don't know how you want to form your ceremony, Pastor Jon has a ton of ideas and samples for you to review and choose from.

After you meet and discuss the details of your ceremony, he writes up a detailed Order of Ceremony for you to have so you know exactly what happens and when. He is very responsive and organized.

Jon was awesome to work with. Our planner found him and when my husband and I met with him we all hit it off. He is very easy going and very easy to talk too. My husband and I are from different religious backgrounds and Jon knew what to do so that both sides would be happy during the ceremony. He communicates extremely well since he had a background in radio which helps during the ceremony.

The entire process, start to finish, was immensely improved because we luckily chose Jon Olson as our Pastor. I read some of the other reviews and his 5-Star rating is inadequate because we want to add more Stars. He is kind, curteous, very easy to speak with, keeps YOU in mind when dealing with your particular situation and this is all just the up front preparations. He is very flexible on the degree of religious or secular feel you intend for your ceremoney. As you work with him to coordinate his speech, you can have as much detailed input as you feel is necessary OR you can let him finalize the details based on some general guidance you provide. At the wedding, he was early, very knowledgeable, professional looking with a great demeanor. For our Wedding, and without knowing what he would say in detail, it was a great surprise to hear the speech for the first time during our ceremony. It was a synergy of wisdom, laughter, advice and sincerety. EVERYONE thought he was FANTASTIC. His voice is strong as he enunciates and projects very well so everyone can clearly hear him. How do you find enough good words to describe someone who presided perfectly over one of the most important days of your life? If you're looking for a relaxed professional who will not add to your stress during wedding preparations and can even coach you on perspective when things are getting crazy, Jon Olson is the best choice.

Our originaly officiant bailed on us a couple of weeks before the wedding. Grr... I found Jon on online and was happy that he was so experienced. I found that experience matters so much when you're planning a wedding! He was so easy to work with and had all sorts of resources to help us write our vows and prepare for the ceremony. Ours was super short (15 min) and I wanted it very simple and streamlined. Jon was super flexible and was well prepared even though we hadn't known each other for more than 2 wks! He was very comfortable at the ceremony and was quite seamless. Super nice guy too!

We got pastor Olson, 4 days before our wedding after a horrible experience with our previous minister. And, he was absolutely amazing. You would have thought he worked on the ceremony for a year--it was very personal, so touching, and so beautiful. Everyone still tells us how great the ceremony was. It was a great pleasure to have him officiate our wedding.
