Incredible Photogrpahers and Incredible people - I’ve never felt so taken care of every step of the way.

I ADORE D Park Studio. They came and shoot my SECOND wedding (yes, after shooting my first) and I felt so trusted in their hands. This could have been a weird situation but they were beyond professional and made me feel so comfortable. Not only that, this was a destination wedding and they were so great to travel with!! I’m very picky and I wanted to make sure I had people I trusted with me, and David and Drexelle fit the bill. They were there for us every step of the way and really think through all aspects of your event. Drex and David are knowledgeable, talented, creative, on trend and extremely kind people. They scouted locations, heard my wants and needs, and made sure to deliver. They impress me more and more every time I work with them and I can never go back. HANDS DOWN THE BEST TEAM TO WORK WITH! First of all, we had the best time with them and they made us feel absolutely comfortable in front of the camera, they gave us our photos & recap video back in a timely manner after the wedding aannndddd looking back at our photos literally brought us back to the emotion on the day of our wedding. A Photographer Who Cares

I spent a lot of time shopping around for photographers and I'm SO GLAD I found D Park Studios. Drexelle will do anything to get the shot right. On my wedding day, I saw her standing on chairs, corralling the elderly, making funny faces at the ringer bearer and my flower boys to get their attention. on the floor to get different angles-- you name it! I love my photos and love my experience with Drexelle!

She is extremely organized and knows what she's doing. If I'm blessed enough to have children I will definitely be contacting her in the future for family photos! Thank you Drexelle! I love you!

Best photographer in Southern California

Beautiful Pictures/Videos, Lasting Memories

Absolutely LOVE having D. Park Studios as our wedding photographer and videographer.

Before the wedding, we've had several meetings going over the details so we were both on the same page in making sure we got the vision for the shots/videos that I wanted to get. The D. Park Studios team showed up to the tea ceremony early with their earpiece microphones and walkie talkies and communicated with each other where everyone was at. It was super professional the entire time and I absolutely loved that because with some videographers/photographers, you'll see them run up to each other asking questions. Why do that when you have a earpiece and microphone/walkie talkie? That's absolutely genius!

The D. Park Studios team captured our photos beautifully from the Vietnamese tea ceremony, getting ready photos, romantics, ceremony, reception, and everything in between. I was never nervous about the photos and videos with D. Park Studios and the wedding was super calming for me.

It's really rare to have a bride & groom remember their entire wedding and that's how you know we had amazing wedding vendors that didn't stress us out during our big day. The team at D. Park Studios made us feel super comfortable and took care of all of the photo/film logistics which let me tell you, is what you want especially on your wedding day.

If you're afraid to know how to pose for cameras, don't even worry because with the D. Park Studios team, you'll be taken care of the entire time. They have team members who will teach you how to pose and also have team members who are amazing at capturing candid photos too.

You're in such great hands with this photo/film team. I highly suggest hiring them for your wedding photo/film needs!!

turned this camera-shy couple into confident models! :)

Drexelle and the D. Park Studios team are SO amazing! They responded quickly to any questions we had and were sure to gather details about us to really make the engagement shoot our own. I was excited, but also a little nervous beforehand because I usually feel very awkward in front of the camera and definitely don't know how to pose myself. Turns out I had nothing to be worried about! Drexelle has a fun personality (we were naturally laughing the whole time), brought lots of positive energy, and gave clear directions on posing... and we even felt comfortable and confident doing so! I am amazed by how quickly she can visualize and execute the shots. It really maximizes the time and allows for a variety of photos in the end.

I am in love with our engagement photos and the way you made the colors POP! Thank you, D. Park Studios, for capturing our magical moments. We can't wait to see you again for the big day! :)

Perfection At Its Best

My wife and I had the honor of working with Drexelle for our 5 year reunion, however 2020 happened and over time it became out 8 year reunion but worth the wait. She kindly help the date for us, we kept it on Monday or Tuesday like we had it in 2020 so it was an apples to apples date. She made it work for us for scheduling but that's not even why she is great. Drex is amazing because she makes you feel comfortable infront of the camera. I was never worried about how I was going to look, I just focused on having a good time and being in the moment as a groom. She caught natural smiles and natural laughing with unbelievable lighting and framing. We went through all her photos that she shared with us and we couldn't figure out which one we wanted to frame the largest because there are SO many that are just works of art. She taught us to not focus on problem areas when looking at a picture of yourself but focus on the areas that you LOVE about yourself. It makes you appreciate so much more. However I must say, she did a great job at knowing the problem areas and got rid of them and made us look like super stars. We are so grateful for her and her passion in this business. I hope you decide on this company as well, you will surely be delighted!

how to describe my experience with d.park and their team? AMAZING! to be honest, when you’re looking for photographers and videographers, you will mainly look at the past work they did, anyone can learn how to do that. photography is an acquired taste, but when you hire d.park, you’re paying more than just the skill to edit photos, you’re paying for a team that will dedicate themselves to making your special day live forever. Think about how many weddings they do in a month, then think about how many people they meet in those weddings, it’s fair to say that they may or may not remember you or your bridal party. drexelle took the time to memorize our wedding party and studied which photos were mandatory for us on our big day. that is what you’re paying for. you’re also paying for professionalism and customer service. my wife and I work hard for our money and we were 150% satisfied with our decision to choose d.park. if you’re reading this, choose d.park - worth every penny.

10/10 Would Recommend - from a shy couple

TLDR: We did our engagement and wedding photos with Drexelle and her crew. Efficient, organized, and most importantly, beautiful photography. Seamless interaction. Previously very camera shy but somehow they brought our inner model out of us.

Prior to all of this, both my now husband(!) and I would say we didn't want the fanfare of romantic photos. I am admittedly extremely shy with PDA and the idea of having a public audience witness any of this made me want to shrivel back into my figurative shell.

I was convinced to look into photography, because I was told it was one of the few things that you 100% would regret if you didn't do. Ultimately we chose D Park because of the quality of her photography and also that they were extremely familiar at our venue, the Skirball Cultural Center. Her team was extremely organized leading up with a well-planned timeline. They were fairly accessible with email and phone calls as necessary so that we could hash out any ideas and details.

We decided to go with an engagement photoshoot because I got the crazy idea to incorporate my cats into it and I wanted an official family shot. Drexelle didn't bat an eye and offered up key suggestions to make the shoot as seamless as possible. On the day of, somehow she coaxed two inexperienced humans and two cats ('nuff said) into multiple great shots. After our photos came out, we knew we had made the right decision.

Some important things to note: Drexelle has a way to bring out your inner model. She was able to coax both of us to be photogenic which was something we had previously didn't think was possible. The way she interacted with us made us feel comfortable throughout all of this despite the lovey-dovey nature of the shoot. And she works fast, which helps not only to maximize your time, but also when its you're wedding day and you're running on 4 hours of sleep and walking on stilts. I do wish I had changed into comfortable shoes when we were trekking around locations for photos so pro-tip for brides out there. Drexelle and her team are also just the nicest people out there, which helps when you're spending 95% of the day with your photographer crew.

10/10 would do it again with them. Thank you so much for make our day unforgettable and for capturing our special moments.

We loved them!

We couldn’t have asked for a better team.

I stumbled upon D. Park Studios on Instagram and was immediately drawn into their photos. We decided to reach out to them to inquire about our wedding and they were very responsive. We decided to go with them after consulting with Drexelle as we felt very comfortable talking with her and felt her vision aligned with what we were looking for. We decided to go with the team for photography( plus engagement pictures) and videography for our wedding day!

My husband and I are not really photogenic and didn't have many ideas but Drexelle was able to guide us and easily helped us come up with new ideas. We were dreading our engagement shoot since we both don’t love being photographed but Drexelle and her husband made it fun and helped us feel as naturally as one could feel when it comes to posing. In addition, she told us exactly what we needed to do so we really appreciated the direction. Pictures turned out WONDERFULLY! Everyone really loved how it turned out and we were so happy we had so many options to print out for our wedding day decore (as well as home).
We had to postpone our wedding date due to covid and D Park was super understanding and accommodating when we told them we wanted to do so.
Our wedding day finally came and the team did not disappoint! They are beyond organized (agenda available + prep calls to ensure they knew what we wanted captured on our big day). We had a VERY long wedding day and the team was there early to prep and the day went flawlessly. Our wedding day was quite hot but the team continuously worked hard throughout the day. Everyone at our wedding was telling us how awesome Drexelle and her team was and how they went above and beyond and always made sure guests got the photos they wanted taken.
We are extremely happy we went with D. Park as the pictures came out better than we coulda imagined! We will definitely be using them in the future for all our events. Also, thank you Drexelle and team for helping both of us awkward photo takers feel comfortable and creating beautiful pictures for us to always remember our special day.

Breathtaking Photography

I was a guest at my best friends wedding in November 2021 and saw firsthand how dedicated and talented the team at D. Park Studios is. They were extremely professional, warm, and friendly and on top of that the photos that they captured are BREATHTAKING. When I saw the sneak peek photos I was truly in awe. I’ve seen a lot of wedding photography that is overly dramatic, saturated in color and feels forced/awkward, but they clearly have an eye for beauty and elegance. The way they lighted the bride and groom and worked with the scenery was really impressive. I would definitely hire them for future events and special moments.

An absolute dream working with D. Park Studios

If you are looking for phenomenal photographers, look no further - Drexelle and David are absolutely amazing! tl;dr This review is for the planning leading up to the wedding and actual day of shoot (First Look, Romantics, Church Ceremony).

Planning: Planning a wedding during the pandemic and on the same day as the LA Marathon is no easy feat, but Drexelle was so amazing every step of the way. From the numerous email conversations, Zoom calls, and phone calls - I was so touched by the warmth, caring, professionalism, and flexibility! The level of consultation was 5 stars, she helped us think about the order of our wedding, photography location, shared other wedding vendors recommendations, etc.

Wedding Shoot: From the moment we finally met in person, I knew Drexelle was going to create the best wedding photo shoot for us. We were so comfortable with her and David and were laughing the entire time. My best friend who came with us was just as impressed with the lengths Drexelle and David went to capture the perfect shot. I'm so excited to see the photos from the shoot!

Same day edit MASTERS!!!

After viewing the same day edit film D.Park's team did for my brother's wedding a few years ago, I knew we had to use them for our wedding as well. We had our dream wedding this past weekend and Loyd & his crew were the BEST. So professional, calm, and fun! I can't stress enough how special it is to be able to have this video we can look back on for years to come AND to have been able to share it with our guests within the same evening! D.Park's team (Drexelle!!) has been an absolute joy to work with - they make you feel like family and take the time to learn your love story which you can clearly see in their work. Amazing results and they made it so easy and fun!

The best photographers ever! David and Drexelle have done headshots for me and they were outstanding. They planned the locations and order of everything and I was amazed at all the different looks we could get in a couple of hours. They make it so easy and fun. My wife and I are giving D Park Photography 5 stars for their excellent work!
David and Drexelle photographed us for our engagement pictures and our wedding. We have two dogs that were with us for both shoots. Our dogs can be a handful and not always easy to handle, but David and Drexelle had no problem working with our dogs and were able to capture some amazing pictures of all of us. Very nice and professional. David even helped me out putting on my tux, fixing my bow tie and cuff links! They captured all the right moments perfectly! All our family and friends agree and love our pictures.

The best decision we made in regards to our wedding was hiring D Park as our photographer!
D Park and team was the photographer for my wedding a little over two months ago and also did our engagement photo shoot! They are professional, courteous, and kind and true masters of the art of photography! David and Drexelle went above and beyond what we expected of them throughout the entire process. From start to finish, their organization skills were exemplary. At the time they did my wedding, they also managed to tell our story throughout their magnificent shots they took! However, no matter what my concern, question or need, they made me feel as though our wedding was the most important thing in the world. The portraits they took were unbelievable. Our experience with Dpark has been awesome from the first time we spoke with Drexelle to our engagement shoot to our wedding day to even after the wedding. I first discovered D Park Photography from a previous Disney Bride and knew they were the ones before looking at anybody else. D Park was a dream to work with. With pushing my wedding back I was probably working with them for 2-3 years and every step of the way they were so helpful and caring. Drexelle checked on me throughout the process and offered her assistance if I needed it.

Along the way they expanded their packages and crew so we went with the Associate Photographer for budget purposes. I would have loved to have Drexelle and David there with us but no quality or professionalism was lost with Cara and Russell. They were so wonderful and gave easy direction. They were funny and felt like friends we have known forever working with us, it was great.

The photos came out AMAZING! I love how dramatic they look and feel but soft at the same time. It's hard to choose just one for our thank you card. I have so many fantastic compliments given over the photos and their work.

I will definitely be working with D Park in the future for family photos and events. What they have is absolutely priceless memories.

From beginning to end, David and Drexelle were a dream to work with. We told them our vision for the engagement photos and our special day and they were right on board. What I love most about them is they're extremely personable and really make the day all about you. Before shooting the wedding, they send you an extremely comprehensive questionnaire that asks about you as a couple, special things you want to capture the day of, names of your bridal party, etc. They really make the day all about YOU!

Our engagement photos were taken in Downtown LA at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and Grand Park. I cannot believe how much they made us look like supermodels. The whole session was so much fun as they made us laugh the entire time! The photos were all so amazing that we had a really difficult time choosing photos for our save the dates...so much so that we actually had two versions.

Our wedding was at the San Antonio Catholic Church and Richard Nixon Library. Dave and Drex arrived on time and quickly split up between my husband and I to capture us getting ready. They truly captured how much fun we were having with our bridal party in the most natural yet glamorous day. They were able to capture the unique personality of every person and the work that we put into all the details. We just received our wedding photos and all i can say is WOW. My mom couldn't stop screaming, i keep getting notifications of likes on facebook and instagram, friends keep texting me about how amazing the photos are...just omg. guys. why haven't you booked them yet? They're just that amazing.

Whatever vision you have in your head, Dave and Drexelle make it happen...they make it better! And on top of them, you get great friends to boot :)

Russell and Cara are hands-down the top notch wedding photographers who are talented, passionate, fun and take good care of the clients. Even better: they are punctual, timely, and easy to work with. We initially found Russell's work after scouring the web for wedding photographs at our exact venue. -- Our wedding venue was unique (as it has 100% artificial lighting) so it was crucial for us to find photographers with proven experience at this place.
There are a lot of reasons why we like this talented couple so much, but I want to highlight three, which I think are important for couples to know:

1. Style. Russell and Cara's photos are modern and elegant. They are pros w/catching the moment and details. Each photo is like telling a story, making you feel you are experiencing those moments. Moreover, the couple is professional and great throughout the whole process of providing guidance on location, and natural yet flattering poses. The quality of their photos stands out.

2. Professional. They are extremely experienced in coping with unexpected logistics / situations on our wedding day to make sure these nuances won't affect your photo quality. There are tons of unexpected situations that may happen, and there ARE (unfortunately) unplanned situations.

3. Energetic and fun to work with. This dynamic couple was very energetic, professional during our engagement photo session and on the busy wedding day. They did their best catching every moment of our wedding. Amazing engagement photo session yesterday with David and Drexelle. My fiancé and I were so comfortable we forgot we were having our pictures taken. The morning after the photo session we woke up to two beautiful preview images and we couldn't be more happy and satisfied with the final images. Can't wait to for the remaining engagement photos and for the our wedding photography. I am so grateful, blessed, and happy that I was able to have D Park as my wedding photographers. They're based in Orange County, CA and my wedding was in Oklahoma City, OK. They are my dream photographers and I have been following their photography blog for years. Russell and Cara (who are now engaged themselves!) shot our wedding, and we really appreciated how professional and warm they were. We're definitely not the kind of couple that likes having formal photos taken, so they kept it a little more casual, and I think that will make for better, more natural photos.

I can't wait to see the full set!!

Update: We got the full set about a month after our wedding, and we're so happy with how they turned out! And we have SO many shots to choose from...the beauty of digital. :)

If you looked up every positive descriptive word in the dictionary, that would describe the type of company D Park Photography is, the type of work they produce, and the personality Drexelle and David have. We originally had photos taken by a photographer that seemed to have what we wanted for a reasonable price. Unfortunately, we got less than what we paid for. In the end, it was a horrible experience that left me scarred to trust another photographer. Wanting to not be depressed about bad engagement photos, the search began as my husband inquired with one company after another. Then, the key thing that drew us to D Park was DISNEYLAND!!!

Drexelle and David knew their way around Disneyland like the back of their hand. They took us to spots that fit our theme, they used mirrors, lighting, windows, etc to really change up the images that they shot (they were not shy to try out creative ways to take photos). And, were very friendly and conversational that the day felt like Sam and I were hanging out with friends! Their personalities really helped us feel very comfortable in front of the camera and we weren’t shy to be silly or romantic.

The other bonus to having D Park as your photographers is that they will help you figure out your attire for the shoot. I have definitely no fashionista and was having issues figuring out what to wear and how to do my hair. But Drexelle was ready to give me suggestions to help me not only look beautiful, but also feel natural.

Overall, you CANNOT go wrong with this company! These two will take photos that will blow your mind away and melt your heart! You can truly see the passion they have when it comes to these photos and they are truly worth the money! I’ll be honest, after my bad experience, it is worth the investment in hiring professional photographers that not only have experience, but produce that quality work that will make your jaw drop and that is what D Park does! Well worth EVERY PENNY!!!

Drexelle and David were the natural choice for our wedding photographers. The last two things we needed to book for our wedding were the photography and dj. D&D were on our radar already, having seen their work on display at our venue and knowing them from elsewhere. We were not disappointed in any way! They are the most professional duo there is, and their work is second to none. Our wedding photos were absolutely amazing and it is all because of their artistic eye and creativity. Some of us in our wedding party were pretty stiff (including us) and you would never tell from the photos. They made it fun and it turned out wonderfully. All our family and friends who interacted with them on our wedding day had the same praises for them! My fiance, now hubby, was very specific on what type of photographer he wanted. Coming from an artist and creative background, he didn't want your typical wedding portraits. But something more interesting and stylistic. After looking at some blogs, he came across a few photographers that he was impressed with their work...one of them being D Park Photography. We meet with a few different choices, but after meeting Drexelle, we knew we had found our photographers. David and Drexelle are absolutely amazing. David and Drexelle are true professionals. What impressed me most was their customer service. They were both so genuinely friendly and caring that you felt comfortable with them immediately. As a photographer myself, I was very picky in selecting my wedding photographer. I found them online on a wedding website and saw how many published photos they had and how amazing their website was and I was sold. They took our engagement photos at Lake Balboa during cherry blossom season and they turned out so beautifully.

At the wedding, they were professional and efficient and captured so many special moments getting ready, at the ceremony, during cocktail hour, and at the reception. They make you laugh and bring out the best in each other during romantic shots and it was such a great experience.

The quality of their photos is top notch and with wedding photography you want to make sure you are getting nothing less especially since you will have these photos to remember for the rest of your life.

Simply put... I could not have asked for a better experience than we had with D Park Photography.

From the first handshake to the final invoice, David and Drexelle were professional, caring and organized. My wife and I hired them to be our photographers for our wedding this past July. We had interviewed four different photographers before we stumbled upon this lovely couple. After meeting them and seeing their portfolio we knew our search had ended. As our big day grew closer, they went out of the way (and their job description) and helped us in keeping everything in line with the multiple vendors we were working with, as well as setting up a time line for the day of. The extraordinary "pre-wedding day" service did not stop there. We had a destination wedding, and they came out the day before to scope out spots for pictures. When they found out we were there also, they set up an engagement shoot for us since we never had one. Then they set up ANOTHER shoot for us later in the day, and if that wasn't enough they even took pictures for us at our sendoff brunch the next day after our wedding. All of these spontaneous shoots alone, at no charge I should add, show the type of passion the Parks have for their profession. They are in this business for the same reason you should hire them for your event, a beautiful end product. If you are looking for a photographer, do yourself a favor and end your search with the Parks.

David and Drexelle photographed our engagement and wedding in a way that allows us to remember all of the big and small moments equally. We had a traditional Indian wedding, which ran multiple days and VERY long hours. David and Drexelle accommodated us with so much love, tenderness, and support. I HIGHLY recommend them for ethnic weddings that have their own uniqueness, individuality, culture, and rituals. From the very beginning Drexelle wanted to know more about our love story, our vision for the shoot and even proceeded to do research on her own.

My wife had met David and Drexelle at her girlfriend's wedding about 4 years ago. They left such a lasting impression with her that when it came to planning our own wedding, D Park Photography was all she could talk about. I had checked out tons of other photographers and talked to a few friends who also recommended a few more photographers, and honestly... I thought they all looked the same. My wife kept insisting that David and Drexelle were different. My wife made the initial call....and talk about great customer service! They never ignored our phone calls and all emails were answered promptly. Drexelle was so sweet and genuinely excited for us. She offered so much great advice and made us feel like our special day was just as important to them as it was to us.
I was actually in two other weddings as a groomsman prior to my own wedding, and could really see a huge difference in how they interacted with us as oppose to how David and Drexelle work. My wife and I felt so comfortable and had so much fun taking pictures with our bridal party. And the moments they were able to capture are priceless to us. My husband and I had such an AMAZING time working with David and Drexelle! Not only are they professional and talented at what they do, but they are funny, sweet, caring, and simply just a fun couple to hang out with! After spending some time researching photographers for our wedding, we came across D. Park Photography. We went through various blogs and portfolios and we simply liked D. Park's style the best. Once my husband and I had a wedding date set, we decided to contact them. One of the important tips when selecting a photographer - make sure you're comfortable with them! They will be working closely with you to capture your special memories! How did our first meeting with David and Drexelle go? We clicked easily! We shared stories followed by laughter followed by more stories and more laughter. Yup, the Parks really made us feel comfortable. Lo and behold, they became our wedding photographers. :)

David and Drexelle were extremely professional and quickly responded to any questions we had, whether it was via email or phone or even text. They even helped us select our outfits/accessories for our e-session. We had so much fun at the night e-session photo shoot! They helped us get comfortable in front of the camera. They posed us from casual to fun to sexy while capturing such emotional and dramatic shots. I froze my butt off during the e-session (of course it had to be extra windy and 45 degrees Fahrenheit that evening), but once we saw the images, it was definitely worth it!!! My husband and I loved the photos!!

Then came our wedding. My husband and I appreciated all the help and advice from David and Drexelle. We have been to a few double dates to chat about ideas/recommendations for our wedding. At our wedding (before the ceremony), David and Drexelle were extremely helpful when I started to feel nervous/stressed. We had some mishaps with the venue before our guests began boarding, but David and Drexelle made sure I was as relaxed as a bride could be. They were helpful with the preparations and made sure we had a wedding schedule planned out. Honestly, my husband and I wouldn't have been as prepared if it weren't for David and Drexelle because the wedding schedule was extremely helpful. We had a couple quick previews of some photos taken by them that simply amazed us (and it was just straight from the display screen of their camera)! We recently received a link to view our wedding images, and they turned out AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL! They captured such great images, some of which made me tear up! I could even relive the memories in my head just by viewing the images!

We have such great chemistry with David and Drexelle. After our wedding, our friends and family asked if we were long time friends with our photographers! Those thoughtful comments we received from our guests clearly explain how fun, personable, and professional David and Drexelle are. We had a fabulous time working with David and Drexelle. Our first meeting turned into double dates; they easily became great friends of ours. My husband and I highly recommend this amazing, beautiful, talented, fun, artistic, and wonderful couple. We had a lot of fun at our engagement shoot. They were flexible with the locations (we went to two locations).

I am so happy that I went with D Park Photography. They really are a great team. I loved that they got back to me right away through phone calls and emails. The communication was wonderful. From our first phone call, I felt instantly at ease with Drexelle. She was not only very organized and professional but also so understanding and open to accommodating all our special requests. I felt really confident coming into our wedding day that I was in great hands with the D. Park team, that I could just sit back and enjoy our special day/

On our wedding day, the D. Park team brought the perfect mix of calm & positive energy. Drexelle had memorized all our close family members names and faces (impressive given our huge Persian & Russian families with exotic names) and that attention to detail was tremendously helpful as she wrangled everyone for our pictures. My parents and all our guests kept commenting how nice the photographers were -- how they seemed to get all the great shots but were never in the way of the party or important moments. Drexelle and David's professionalism, kindness and thoughtfulness contributed so much to making our wedding day completely stress-free, easy, happy & pleasant !

Last week we got our pictures and they are stunning! I can't thank the whole D. Park family enough for the care and attention they paid to our wedding day. Fingers crossed we'll have some more fun occasions in the year to come and can hire D. Park again!
