DJ Tim Coy and his wife and his team were AWESOME!!!

Tim Coy from California DJs was absolutely amazing at our Aquarium wedding. He MCs everything, has a great way to get to know your personal music style, and just makes every event run smoothly. This last part is critical as you need fun and mature people at each event to recognize when other vendors might need help and to step in. Tim grabbed the mic and helped our photographers coordinate a mass staircase picture photo in a short time window. It wasn't part of his role there but he stepped up with his funny and friendly natural style and really got everyone motivated to work together to make this shot turn out great. His wife is also a great personality to have on the team and they plus their lighting/setup team work amazingly well to pull off your event. Nothing but talent and experience and delivers more than he promises at every turn. Awesome job Tim!!! I'd include a picture but our photographer won't let us have any pics after a month - soon as they do though we'll update this to include pic.

Fun & Flexible DJ’s

We met Tim at my brother and sister-in-laws wedding a year ago. When it was time to hire a DJ for our wedding we knew we wanted Tim to be our guy. He is professional and very flexible with all of the date changes we had due to Covid. Although we did not have a traditional reception due to the Covid restrictions in California, Tim did provide all of the music for our ceremony and our first dance which took place immediately after the ceremony. He even found an “off the beaten path” song I wanted for our unity ceremony. A few weeks after our wedding we had a backyard reception for our family & friends that could not attend the ceremony. We hired one of Tim’s guys, Shawn to DJ our party. He did a great job as well. He was super fun and our party went 2 hours longer than we had expected and Shawn stayed and DJ’d the whole time.

DJ Review:

Wow, Tim is awesome! We met him at our venue tasting and spent about 30 minutes talking about his experiences as a DJ and from that point on, I realized just how important the DJ is to the entire wedding and experience. They set the tone (figuratively and literally) for the entire event. They set the mood, they keep the time, they keep the vendors up to speed, they watch over the whole event and adjust accordingly. And then after and while they are doing all that, they play the tunes you make memories with. Tim did all of this for us and more for our ceremony and reception. His online planning tool, which is a lot of info and decisions to make, was an absolute blessing. I didn’t even realize half the decisions I needed to make about songs and timing until I worked with him on filling it out. He answered all our questions and gave us advice based on his experiences. We paid a little more than we budgeted for, but well worth it. Tim is awesome!

We booked Tim for uplighting and DJ services. He exceeded our expectations. Our wedding was at the Aquarium of the Pacific and vendors are given 1 hr to set everything up. He had everything done and was dressed wedding appropriate. He acted as a MC and kept the entire reception moving. We did a special first dance where we surprised our guests by fighting with light sabers and Tim was totally down for it. We gave him the music and a cue and he did the rest. It was so much fun and a surprise for the guests. I would highly recommend him for any event.

My partner and I coordinated an evening gala for our executives in the hills of Hacienda Heights recently, and Tim from Pacific Events was our DJ. He arrived early and we showed him where to set up. As the guests arrived he greeted them with a nice mix of music during the cocktail hour and throughout dinner. Afterwards he livened up the party and got everyone on the dance floor. I've hosted several corporate parties for our big wigs, and they never end up dancing. I was surprised how easily he engaged the crowd and got everyone to let their hair down. My partner and I were so busy making sure all the other vendors were doing what they were supposed to do, we left Tim work his craft. It goes without saying that Tim is an expert at what he does. He took little to no direction, and the evening went extremely smooth. I will definitely hire him again! 5 Stars all the way!

Pacific events entertainment, and Tim Could in particular just help us make our special day the most memorable day of our life on the Queen Mary. With a little under two hours to set up full lighting for a 350 person wedding including a massive star lighting on the ceiling of the grand salon, colored lighting on all the pilars and tables, a personalized insignia on the dance floor and so much more, Tim and his crew finished early and made the whole room look a billion times better than what we had imagined. Not only was the lighting amazing but Tims booming voice announcing our entrance as Mr. And Mrs. Alex Scheibe is something I will never forget. The music that was played was spot on the whole night, which isn't easy considering it was a mix between afghan dance music and new age 50's theme music. Tim met with us multiple times to get all of our music down and on their website you can go through and select all the music you love and hate including must play songs. It's like a Spotify for your wedding. Everyone raves about Tim the DJ and also owner of this wonderful entertainer group and asked us for his information to use him for their events. I could not imagine a more perfect company for lighting music and all entertainment needs. We will be using them for the rest of our events including my companies events. If you need a great entertainment group for your wedding and are worried about anything, put your mind at ease and go with Pacific Entertainment Group because you will worry about nothing and receive everything you ask for and more, and not to mention a breathtaking wedding.

Okay so we hired Tim to DJ and do lightning for our ceremony at the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, a venue that he said he was very experienced with...

....and boy was he right! We changed from a DJ set list to a LIVE BAND with a lightshow and ridiculousness about 2 weeks before the ceremony. He coordinated with them for all of it and kept my work to nearly zero. The venue was lit beautifully - completely different feel to it than when I had visited during business hours. We used his fantastic and easy web interface for song selection for our cocktail hour - AND gave him super weird curveball custom tracks for our ceremony songs. I think I linked him a youtube video and said "so do this part from timestamp 1:10 to timestamp 2:40" or something absolutely insane like that. And he did it all! Was great for guiding traffic during the ceremony and keeping things moving along. I was super impressed with his ability to pull it all off, especially since we were not the easiest clients. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

DJ Tim was probably the best decision we made for our wedding. He worked with us on cost and was extremely reasonable. We had a few special requests that required some research on his part and he came back with some great stuff! He made the Aquarium look beautiful with the lighting and made the event run so smoothly. He and all of his staff were so professional and nice. We would definitely recommend DJ Tim and Pacific Events to anyone for any event.

We were referred to DJ Tim by our wedding coordinator since he has worked at our venue (Aquarium of the Pacific) several times before. Now, the Aquarium of the Pacific is a very special venue because as a vendor, you only have one hour from the closing of the Aquarium to the public and the start of your reception.

Pacific Events has an online form where you can specify what kind of music you want for cocktail hour, dinner and must-have songs for the dance floor. It was super easy to use and there wasn't a song I wanted that I couldn't find. For cocktail hour, I put "Music like: Stevie Wonder, the Temptations, etc." and DJ Tim was able to put together a playlist that was exactly what I wanted. He was also able to create a great playlist for dinner when I said "90s slow jams like Usher." My guests loved all of the songs and I took all of the credit, haha!

Tim was a great emcee and DJ. He has a great voice and was able to keep our program on time. He was also flexible when we needed to make last minute changes and very great with making announcements.

And OH MY GOD! The uplifting looked so great! My guests said, "I didn't know that the Aquarium could look like this!"

Thank you, DJ Tim, for creating the perfect ambiance for my wedding. I'm so happy that our wedding coordinator introduced us to you.

We could not have asked for a better wedding DJ service. The flexibility to roll with whatever situation presented itself was key. We could totally trust that our wishes would be met and we could relax and enjoy the evening. Its amazing when your DJ takes control and makes the night flow as it should.

Tim Coy of Pacific Events is amazing! Not only was he our first choice for DJ / MC / Videographer / Photographer, but he was also a SUPER wonderful guy to work with on our recent wedding reception. Initially, we were planning on hiring DJ iPod to host our event, but in the end I am so happy we hired Tim!! During the planning / scoping phase he worked with us on all of the costs while making helpful, but not pushy, suggestions. He also introduced us to our team of three photographers and personally became our wonderful MC and DJ for the night.

During the event, his one of a kind voice directed guest through the night’s itinerary and when it came to the INCREDIBLY dreaded first dance, he helped this groom along by trimming the fat from the song and making the pomp and circumstance as short as possible. Additionally, he allowed us to pick our ambient music and he complimented our dance selections perfectly. As MC, he worked with our event planner to ensure everything ran smoothly and adjusted our schedules if Aunt Shelly needed “just one more photo.”

To top off the perfect execution, Tim sent us a wonderful sizzle reel of our night. It was a short, but very meaningful clip from the aforementioned dance that even made my two left feet look good. I am so happy we met Tim and look forward to working with him and Pacific Events again soon!!

Without a doubt Tim (Pacific Events Entertainment) was the most impressive of the DJs we contacted. Not by bragging about the big events they do (they've done a lot of impressive gigs), but by being direct, professional, and knowledgeable. His main point was that they aren't just a DJ service that goes up and plays songs from a list, they are a reception coordinator, making sure everybody is aware and ready for what dance or tradition is happening. He made us feel like we wouldn't have to worry about a thing.
Leading up to the big day his knowledge and experience really shined. While we had been to plenty of weddings before, we were not prepared for all of the planning the music, dances, and customary traditions required. Tim worked with us and provided an online tool that was more helpful than we could have imagined. They helped us feel confident and ready (for the reception at least).
As for the wedding day, everything was perfect…thanks to Tim!
We hired a guitarist/singer to do the ceremony music. Unfortunately he did not bring the right gear and had serious AV issues! No problem, Tim was there to fix the set up so he could do his thing. Without Tim our ceremony music would have been a disaster. Tim told us he comes prepared for any glitches that can happen day of, we are glad he did!
During the reception Tim had all of the music we loved, and none of the cheesy stuff. He also asked us if we wanted to do shortened versions of our “special dances” songs so we weren’t dancing for too long. This is something we never would have thought of and he executed flawlessly! He even provided us with a CD of all the songs he played, an incredible keepsake we never would have thought of (I’m guessing you see the trend here).
We couldn’t recommend Tim/Pacific Events enough. I could go on and on how great the experience was from beginning to end, but [thankfully] there’s a word limit.
Thank you Tim for making our wedding more beautiful than we could have ever dreamed!

Sorry this is long. But there is so much to say about Pacific Events!

Tim Coy, of Pacfic Events, is fantastic! First of all, he is uber professional. Not in a stuffy way. In fact, he is very personable and likeable. But professional in that he was polite, engaged and answered my questions succinctly during our consultation. There was a brief mix-up on who was DJing my wedding (him or another trusted DJ) but the confusion was quickly squared away and Tim resolved this confusion swiftly and with good client service.

Professionalism aside, Tim is a fantastic DJ. I had briefed him that our wedding guests would span a range of generations (young kids to seniors in the 80’s) and cultures (we had guests from Hong Kong, London and everywhere across the US). He said “no problem” and gave me his recommendation for how to handle that. I really liked that he could quickly size up the crowd based on my description and provide a solution. He asked all the right questions, leaving no stones unturned, without requiring too much effort on my part to manage. For those of you wedding planning, you’ll come to learn that you can spend hundreds of hours managing and following-up with vendors – and that efficient vendors are like a diamond in the ruff. Tim is that diamond in the ruff.

Last but not least, Tim looks the part of a DJ of an upscale event. He is well-spoken, poised, engaging and polished. His suit and appearance are sharp. And dare I publicly admit, he is handsome! With how prominent of a role a DJ plays in a wedding as the master of ceremony, it is important to find someone who looks and acts the part.

He came highly recommended by my wedding planner, and she is well-known for assembling one of the superior wedding team’s in Los Angeles. I would have to agree. She put together a vendor team that was better than I could have imagined and Tim was on point with the best of them.

Tim Coy was the absolute best! He really made our day fantastic. He was very organized, professional, knowledgeable and most of all, he had a real sense of fun and really kept our party rocking and rolling! Tim was always available to some any questions big or small and was very helpful every step of the way. He kept really well to our "Play" and "Do Not Play" list and he also was really helpful in making sure our outdoor ceremony was well-heard by everyone! I cannot recommend Tim and Pacific Events Entertainment enough! He'll make sure you have nothing to worry about on your big day.

Tim was 100% amazing and provided us with so much more than just music. My husband and I booked Tim way in advance of our January 2014 wedding, but with all the other stuff happening we left our music selections for the last minute and up until the night before we were switching songs around on the online database, but Tim had no problem with that and accommodated all last minute changes including grand entrance ones 5 minutes prior. Everything Tim provided from the music, to the timeline, to the lighting was great! When I walked into the reception room and saw the blue lights I was amazed and it made the room. The music selections were perfect and there was never a lull because everything moved so smoothly. Without Tim and his awesome dj-ing skills or his great timeline planning and his great attitude I don't know if our reception would've gone as smoothly. I can't wait for another reason to use Tim as our dj because he will definitely be our first choice and I will always recommend him to anyone I know that needs a dj!

Tim Coy is simply the best. He did our wedding on 12/21 in Long Beach at Hotel Maya. He, and Pam (photography) and Lewis (video) did an amazing job.Tim was quick and helpful in response to our questions. If you are not sure who to hire for your wedding, hire Tim Coy and Pacific Events!!! Tim was a dream to work with. From the first day we met him, we really liked him. He is so friendly, professional, and has a wonderful voice. He makes the perfect emcee! He has a wonderful online system where you can plug in all the songs you really want to hear, and even some you definitely don't want to hear. The online site helps you organize your timeline and the flow of the evening. Tim played every single thing we wanted to hear and went out of his way to get some obscure songs we wanted. He never hesitated to say he'd get us exactly what we wanted to hear. The extra bonus you get with Tim is that he truly cares about making your big day perfect. The whole night he had people dancing, and he would check in with us to make sure the timing of the next event was what we wanted, and he'd do things like make sure our photographer wasn't going to miss the cake cutting before he announced it, for example. To us, that was going above and beyond, and it made the whole night move so smoothly. We asked him to ham it up for our grand entrance and he nailed it! We have actually had friends and family tell us how great our DJ was since the wedding, which I think says a lot about Tim. We'd highly recommend him to anyone!

Tim at a Pacific Events was wonderful! He was very calming to me and gave me a sense of comfort before and during my daughter's Bat Mitzvah. From our first meeting on till our wedding day, working with Tim has been a great experience!!! He was so easy to get along with and work with! Weeks before our wedding, Tim contacted me to ensure that we were on the same page with everything. On the day of our wedding, everything went smoothly and I did not have to worry one bit. Tim handled the reception perfectly! Our guests loved the music and everyone was on the dance floor most of the night. Tim from Pacific Events was the perfect DJ for our wedding at Malibou Lake Mountain Club! Everyone complimented the music and were dancing all night long! He was very receptive to our musical taste and was able to combine the vibe we wanted with your typical wedding music. Tim from Pacific Events was awesome! He was introduced to us by our wedding planner, Orange Blossoms. He was our ceremony and reception DJ/emcee plus we hired him for lighting services. Their client website has this cool thing which you could pick out songs you don't want to be played, can be played, and absolutely must be played during the wedding. Our guests and us loved the music he had picked during dinner, they all commented on how relaxing and calming it is. We had a small wedding of 33 guests and he really rocked the place which is not an easy feat! The dancefloor was occupied all the way till midnight and we had so so much fun! We even invited him to the dancefloor with us! Haha! =). It was great! He's such a professional and fun guy to work with and his services are absolutely affordable. Everything went so smoothly and we had the best time of our lives! Thanks Tim, and congratulations to ya too!

Tim at Pacific Events Entertainment helped make our wedding the best day of our lives. He was just awesome. And not only did we love him, but our friends and families did as well. It's been fun these last few weeks to hear people talking about the wedding and their favorite song they danced to. I have too many favorite moments to count. He set such a fun (but also classy) tone. :) I remember seeing people on the dance floor who typically don't dance and I think that is due in large part to the way Tim welcomed people to the floor. He was so game with whatever crazy idea we threw at him-- seeing all of our friends dancing like adorable idiots to Party Rock Anthem is definitely one of my favorite moments OF ALL TIME. It was a perfect day, one we'll never forget.

Tim did a wonderful job with being the DJ and the Emcee at our wedding. We played two games and he helped facilitated both of them w/o any issues. He even added his own twists and made it really fun. He also worked with my fiance to help surprise me with a performance by supplying the extra mics and mic stands. Everything was handled through his website, which was so high-tech because you can enter your timeline and your song list directly on the web, but he still called and went through everything with us on the phone to make sure we are all on the same page. Tim is super professional yet extremely flexible to work with during the planning process, and he was one of the best dressed person in the wedding that night too!

Britt was so flexible and even contacted me when he noticed our timeline and contract didn't match. It was awesome. Furthermore, he allowed us to play the music we wanted and was responsive to our wishes, even during the reception! I would recommend Britt to anyone who is considering a DJ. He is fun, funny, creative, respectful, and responsive to wishes. He really knows how events should flow together and how things should be done. Seriously, if you're looking for the best DJ, his name is Britt and he works for Pacific Events Entertainment. My wife and I were so happy with the reception, and I've been getting calls and emails weeks after the wedding to let me know that it was the most fun people have had in a long time, and Britt was definitely a huge role in that!

DJ Tim Coy ROCKS! Super affordable, responsive, friendly and FUN!

I have to say I definitely had nothing to worry about during my wedding reception. Tim was very professional - I've witnessed some DJs/MCs who tend to take over, and he didn't at all. His clear radio voice complimented all our fun events and he played everything we wanted! He joined in on the fun by bustin' a few moves himself.

Pacific Events Entertainment's website is pretty awesome too. There's a client database where you enter all your event's info, itinerary and song requests (from must-plays, to do-not-plays). Tim and his team were made for this business - definitely recommended for those who want a night of smooth-sailing fun! I can't seem to stop using the word "fun" :)

Britt was the best. He made our daughters wedding a great success with his fabulous music choices and his great personality. Not only did Britt do our daughters wedding, he also did her 10 year high school reunion several weeks before, and was not aware of than until he showed up to her wedding. We love Britt. Thank you Britt, can't wait to have another party!!!

Tim and Pacific Events were awesome! We hired them for DJ services, lighting, videography, and our photo booth which doubled as our guestbook and favors. Everyone loved our fuchsia lighting around the East Room at the Nixon Library, as well as the photo booth. Everything went off flawlessly, and Tim and his staff were a major reason why. I would highly recommend Pacific Events for any entertainment need, as they are the best! Thanks so much Tim, Randie, and everyone else involved in our wedding, we greatly appreciate all of your heard work!

Tim Coy is the epitome of professionalism! You will be so happy to have him DJ your event. He took so much time to really listen to what we were looking for in regards to our wedding music and combined our choices with his professional recommendations. We couldn't have gotten a better DJ!

My husband and I were so lucky to have Tim DJ our wedding. From our first meeting Tim was super professional, easy going, knew exactly what we wanted for our wedding and delivered without being cheesy (which was super important to us). He really worked to fit within our budget and we're so glad he did...He got our crowd dancing all night long and we had so many guests come up to us complimenting him! I had nothing to worry about on the day of our wedding. He worked out all the little details with us and our photographer to make sure everything was timed right on the wedding day and always kept my husband and I informed on what was coming next so that we were extra prepared ( ie: Tim asked us if we were ready to do bouquet/garter toss in 10 mins...good thing he asked.. I had comfty espadrilles on during the reception but when he told us the bouquet/garter toss would be in 10 mins I had enough time to go to the bridal suite and change into my not so comfty but gorgeous bridal shoes..thank goodness!) ...Tim played every song I requested on the song list I spent hours on and even gave us a bunch of CDs with songs played at our wedding to take home.

Thanks Tim for making our wedding day run SUPER smooth and SUPER fun...we had a blast, were stress free the entire day and will absolutely recommend you to any couple getting married!!!!!!!

Tim is a wonderful DJ/MC!!! From the first time we met Tim, we knew he was a reliable person. He had a flat tire on his way but still did everything he could to show up and meet with us. The Pacific Events planning site helps so much in what to play and when. Pacific Events also offers so many things that it is like a one stop shop for any event. We had Tim DJ for the ceremony music as well and he was able to accommodate the noise because it was an outside wedding with a festival going on nearby. We also booked the projector and screen from them which worked out very well. Also, we booked the karaoke with them and it was a total hit with the guests!! Tim was very detailed calling us a couple days before to go over the time line and the planning forms we submitted. He also made sure he was pronouncing our wedding party's names correctly. Tim even gave us a CD of the music that was played throughout the whole wedding day. We got wonderful feedback form our guests who enjoyed dancing the night away. They were having so much fun that we asked Tim to stay a little longer and he had no problem with that. Overall, it was wonderful!

5 stars is not enough! Tim is A-MAZ-ING!!! If you are looking for the perfect DJ that can do EVERYTHING, he's your guy. Let me break down our experience.

Pre-wedding preperation: He stayed on top of us to get him a list of do not play, must play, first dance, mother son dance, etc. I was particularly impressed with Tim's knowledge of all different types of music. I'm Argentinian and my wife is Peruvian/Equadorian so we were presently surprised when Tim knew more about Salsa and Cumbia then we did!

Lighting: In the week leading up to the event we mentioned that our lighting was one thing we didn't really think about. Luckily Tim has an amazing lighting system available for a GREAT price. Our wedding had 20 LED uplights that changed colors for the Coctail hour and reception, and a scanner that projected all kinds of patterns onto the wall. It really was the most important part of the decor.

Grand Entrance: A special surprise for us was that tim has the PERFECT announcer voice! We had an elaborate grand entrance similar to the Lakers intro. It required that Tim to play a hype video, announced all the wedding party (including their heights), and switch between multiple songs! This really set the mood for the party!

DJ skills: Every song he chose was perfect for the time! Everyone was either at the bar or on the dancefloor the whole night, and Tim stayed till 3:30am! What a trooper. Not to mention the whole night he was dancing behind the turntables and you can really tell he enjoyed it!

The day after: Tim put together a recap video including some of the songs and a few videos from the wedding. THE DAY AFTER THE EVENT!!! Unbeleivable! He must not have slept the night of the wedding.

I highly recommend Tim for any of your DJ/MC/Lighting needs! Thanks again Tim for all your help, you made our wedding unforgettable! Please feel free to give out my contact info if you need a referral!

When my fiance and I were planning our wedding, we knew that the two most important things to us were the food and the music. Pacific Events did a fantastic job at our wedding and reception! Tim came highly recommended and lived up to his reputation. We not only had a great DJ but a master of ceremonies for the entire event. He worked closely with our venue and cooridnator to ensure a seamless event! The evening flowed smoothly, and his warm but professional personality was just what we were hoping for. We had a great time at our wedding and so did our guests! Pacific Events kept the party going all night!

DJ Tim exceeded our already high expectations of him based on a friend's recommendation, and we would recommend him to any bride & groom planning a wedding. With the perfect voice and personality for the job, he gave excellent introductions to every event on our packed wedding reception schedule and played the perfect music for ambience and dancing. And at the end of our wedding reception he even gave us a CD compilation of all the music he played for us during our reception. Thanks again Tim!

Tim at Pacific Events did a great job! He was so easy to work with and played great music. Everyone had a great time. Tim was also very flexible in meeting our needs. I was putting things together at the last minute and had lots of changes every day but Tim was able to make everything that we wanted happen. He was great in helping us manage our timeline during the reception as well.

The lighting was beautiful! Our ballroom was extremely large but Tim did a great job in making it look more elegant and initimate. Exactly what we were looking for.

I would definitely recommend him to friends.

We hired Tim based on his knowledge, the glowing reviews of him on weddingbee, and also bc he is really affordable. After meeting him, we knew we wanted to have him as our DJ. My mom and several of my aunts commented on how good he was. We agree! He kept the night running smoothly for us, checked in on us to let us know what events were happening next, and kept the dance floor packed all night. The kids at our wedding especially loved the music they were playing. I took a look at all the guests and they were all sweaty from dancing. That's how you know you've had fun at a wedding!! I had seen somewhere that Tim had glowsticks, and I asked if he would please throw them in for us and he happily obliged.

We were very satisfied with Tim and his musical knowledge and knowing how to work the room. You won't regret hiring Tim Coy!

Tim was absolutely fantastic. My husband and I got married in the morning and we were warned that people don't generally dance at lunch receptions, but everyone danced at our wedding! My husband and I wanted a classic feel, kind of a rat pack meets the fifties feel. Tim captured that perfectly and everyone had a fantastic time. Tim was very responsive, affordable, and by far the best DJ I've ever worked with. Thank you so much!

DJ Tim Coy is the best!! Prior to the wedding, Tim was a pleasure to work with. He is super nice, responsive and works with you in order to provide the best service for your budget, venue and taste. He even drove for hours in the rain and traffic to make it to our walk-through! We were pretty indecisive until the last minute with a few of our major songs, but Tim was extremely patient and helpful. He definitely goes above and beyond.

Day-of, Tim provided music for our ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner reception and was absolutely wonderful to work with. We had really strict venue rules and three different areas that needed music and everything came together seamlessly. He checked in with us before the grand entrance to make sure we were still okay with the timeline. He incorporated all of our requested songs and definitely kept the evening moving smoothly. He did an awesome job as MC -introduced people effortlessly and kept things moving without people really noticing. Lets just say we had a mixed crowd (and two very different sets of parents) and we were worried that one side or the other wouldn't have very much fun. However, everyone had a blast! Even the old folks! My extended family is huge and they tend to take over everything, and we sort of went off track a bit in terms of the timeline (at no fault of Tim's). But Tim went with the flow and kept things moving even though I had a million aunts, uncles, kids, etc. swarming us for photos at random times, interrupting the timeline and generally causing chaos. However, no one noticed and everyone was having a great time! This is thanks to Tim who turned the chaos into a big party! - and with my family, that takes serious talent!

I now feel like I wasted so much time looking around for DJ's before hiring Tim. Knowing what I know now, there is no one better to work with than Tim. He not only is the most professional DJ we spoke with, but the best to work with and provided the best music. I wish I had known this before I started searching as I would have booked him on the spot! Oh, and he has the most awesome voice ever, even in person! :) Thanks Tim for making our wedding so FUN!

Pacific Events did a wonderful job at our wedding at the Aquarium of the Pacific. The lighting was absolutely top notch. The videographers were friendly & professional. They stuck to our music playlist all the way. There were two very brief audio snafus (one incorrect song, one audio issue during the ceremony) but both were fixed quickly and completely. Would definitely recommend their services to other couples for their big day.

Overall our DJ Tim was excellent. He really knew what he was doing at our wedding. The lights that he set up for us turned out beautifully. His equipment was state of the art and we had no problems with the sound or speakers at all. All of the guests loved the song selection that he played during our wedding and so did we. We were hoping to have a DJ that would know Top 40's music and he really knows his stuff. He came up with fun games to play at the wedding too. He was very professional and very easy to work with. The only issue we had was the photobooth pictures came out quite dark at the bottom of each picture. Overall, we were very happy with having Tim as our wedding DJ.

Working with PacificEvents Entertainment was really smooth. We were able to Skype with our DJ twice to get to know him and explain our vision, so we knew we had a good fit for our wedding. The website we used to pick out songs and plan the evening was a bit old school but easy to use and very helpful for communication. Andrew was a great MC for the night and kept the party moving, and made sure things were going smoothly throughout the reception. Set-up and take-down was seamless and professional. Overall excellent execution and service!

Tim was absolutely fantastic to work with! Leading up to our wedding, he offered very helpful advice for figuring out the logistics to our wedding, what songs to play, etc. He helped us by to taking on the role as an Emcee as well as a DJ. He kept the night flowing and led with a confidence that allowed us to fully trust in him and enjoy our wedding to the fullest. He also has the perfect Emcee voice, you'll see what I mean. :) Lastly, he stayed significantly longer than he was supposed to because our reception program got pushed back 45 minutes, but that didn't keep him from keeping the beat going for us and he did so with a smile!

Tim was our DJ and provided the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We also hired Pacific Events for the uplighting and photo booth, and the photographer (Pamela Marches Photography) came with the package, too!

Tim kept the music lively and party going, and that was all we could ask for. The games were fun, and I loved how he even got out on the dance floor and pulled some guests up to dance, too!

Tim was unable to DJ our wedding, but he recommended DJ Miah and DJ Miah was amazing! We got compliments from our guests how great our DJ was. DJ Miah was very responsive with our requests and played all the music that we wanted. He also made sure we were OK with our guests' requests!

DJ Novazzi from Pacific Events was fantastic. Very flexible to accommodate our desired, and probably quirky, details. He was there early for the event to have everything set up beforehand and turned the reception into an acoustic wonderland. Everybody raved about the selection and sound. Great job! And thanks for making the day one to remember.

Tim had very competitive rates and was very responsive and accomodating in planning before our wedding. He did a good job of using our play and don't play list as well. He did talk a bit more than we would have liked during the dance times (just small stuff like 'Let's head back on to the dance floor') which we had mentioned we wanted to keep to a minimum and there was one instance where he let an uncle have the mic when we had asked that no one be allowed to give impromptu speeches but looking back we could have been clearer in stressing these points. Overall he did a good job and was a great value for the price.
