User1029318 Sent on 11/28/2012This house was Beautiful! I had alittle over 100 quests and each guest was comfortable with the space. Beautiful house for a beach wedding!..and definitely enough space. -
User887974 Sent on 08/04/2012What an awesome weekend! My wedding was perfect and could not have selected a more beautiful setting to get married. It made it so special having all of my bridesmaids and wedding party stay at the house under one roof to enjoy our wedding weekend. So many of our guests commented that they have been to several weddings but this location and atmosphere were best. I only wish one of my bridesmaid will select Ocean Spray for their wedding so I can relive it again! -
User892086 Sent on 08/08/2012We rented this beach house to have my wedding there the following Saturday. It was a whole week to relax and spend time with both sides of the family. It was a wonderful time! The weather was perfect and we had plenty of space for all of the family and some of the bridal party. Overall, I loved my time at this beach house and would definitely recommend it for weddings!

Do not rent from this narcissist
I rented this venue months in advance and paid in full at the time of booking. I signed a contract (mind you, it had a multitude of spelling errors, fonts, etc) and didn't even receive info on how to get into the house less than 24hrs before my trip - after I reached out and got no returned emails. *THIS WAS JUST THE BEGINNING*
I showed up to an unclean house. Walls had splatters on them, furniture is totally outdated, some of the beds were painfully hard (couldn't even use them), etc. *STILL NOT THE WORST PART*
It occurs to me 2hrs into our checkin that we can't find towels anywhere. I locate my contract which mentions that linens are included & i see nothing about towels. The contract states there are 2 phone numbers to text or call with questions. I called both, no answer. Texted both, no answer. I called the Owner a second time and he tells me to call the 2nd phone number. I call that number (a lady named Gail) who tells me the towels will be $187! I told her that my contract doesn't state that and I'd like to talk to the owner. We schedule the towel delivery for 9pm because that was the earliest she could do (ugh).
2 of the ladies go outside to receive the towels from Gail and she says she needs to be paid. The ladies explained that the Owner would take care of it and she needed to talk with him because it was included in the cost of the house (that was our understanding). I'm now called outside to handle this matter. I call the owner, no response. Gail calls the owner and he picks up immediately and passes the phone to me.
This is where things took a massive left turn. The Owner of the house screamed at me, cursed me out, and insulted me more than I have ever heard come out of a strangers mouth. At this point there are 6+ witnesses listening to him chew me out for interrupting his "boat time" and "family dinner" for this. He tells me to refer to the contract which BY THE WAY said I rented the house for 3 days but it was actually 2 so he had the contract incorrect.
I explained to the Owner that I paid for 3 nights, but was only staying 2 nights (which HE KNEW AHEAD OF TIME) so it would be fair if he included $187 towels due to leaving information out on his contract. On 3 different occasions I literally told him, "Please speak to me respectfully. I know you don't want to miss your family dinner and I don't want to be screamed at on my vacation. Can we agree on that?" He proceeded to yell at me for almost 10mins and then HANG UP ON ME.
At this point Gail starts to blame us for the towels and insults my attendees stating, "What type of business do you own? Would you ask someone for a discount on your services?" Gail also says to me, "Now you've done me dirty because I drove 40mins here at 9pm."
Politely and respectfully I told her this was a clear issue she needed to take up with the Owner and to not every speak to me that way again. I hand her a check because I am a GOOD HUMAN BEING that would never screw anyone over. She leaves.
5mins later Gail drives back and says I can have my check back and I didn't have to pay for the towels.
The bipolar/psychotic Owner texts me, "I took care of the towels. Enjoy your stay!" But never once acknowledged that he cussed me out 10mins prior.
The Owner is unstable. House is not worth it. I would never ever ever ever recommend renting from someone like this. They are mentally unstable. -
