  Amanda did such an amazing job in heling us navigate through the daunting task of planning a two-day wedding. The money that we devoted to working with Amanda was worth it and we could not have been happier with the results we got for both days. Since we both work full time jobs and travel often, it was important to us to have someone who was able to step in full time and who understood our vision and aesthetic and Amanda was that person for us. Coming from an artistic background myself, I wanted someone who had a slightly different take on the design and décor for a wedding and Amanda was able to execute the vision I had in my head perfectly. We greatly appreciated the day-of execution and how everything came together for both days so smoothly, even though both days were so different in both design and purpose. We are so grateful to Amanda for what she did for us on our special days and we cannot thank her enough for what she was able to deliver.

  We truly loved working with Oak and Cypress. I couldn't have better things to say about working with Amanda and her team. When my husband and I got engaged, I was determined to enjoyable engagement period, and to minimize all stress. During the first sit-down with Amanda, I knew that she would be the one! She is so knowledgable, organized and had such great energy. The team at Oak and Cypress are also fantastic.
  
  On our wedding day, I knew I had absolutely nothing to stress about because Amanda and her team were on it. Every little detail, every step of the way. The execution from things big to small went perfectly, and with a great smile on everyone's faces.

Amanda offers a variety of tailored-made services; we chose to utilize her full service offer, where she walks us through the process every step of the way. From venue scouting to day of bridal preparations, Amanda was available and supportive. She was incredibly knowledgeable, not only about the massive and mystifying wedding industry, but also about our unique preferences and what we wanted out of the wedding experience. She dedicated time to listening to our vision for the day, as well as offering gentle guidance for how to achieve our ideal wedding. We never felt rushed or dismissed, rather, Amanda was patient, caring, and often more dedicated to the details than we were. While Amanda’s knowledge of the process was truly invaluable, it was her sweet, patient, grounded presence that we were most appreciative of. She was a true pleasure to work with, so much so, that we are actually trying to find other events worthy of hiring her on for!   Amanda is amazing. She was able to understand my vision (which was impression since I had a hard time actually articulating it to her) and then bring it all to life. I loved that after our initial phone conversation, before I even decided to use her, she sent me a pinterest board with ideas based on what I told her I wanted and she had nailed it. She eliminated so much stress for me and I 100% trusted her and what she was doing. It was so nice not having to deal with vendors, decorations, etc leading up to and the day of our wedding - she really went above and beyond to make everything as stress-free as possible and it was. When I walked into our venue I was blown away by how beautiful every thing was. Amanda killed it. It was the most amazing night and it wouldn't have happened without Amanda. Hiring her was the best decision I made when it came to planning our wedding.

  Bottom line, Amanda did an awesome job helping us to plan our wedding and make it happen! Investing in her services was money well spent and totally worth it. When we first met with Amanda, we knew we wanted to get married, but that was about it. Amanda helped us find our perfect wedding venue, which was a huge accomplishment. We were very picky, and had been looking for a wedding venue that suited us and felt authentic for about a year before we contacted Amanda.
  
  The groom and I are both professionals working a lot of hours and the thought of planning a wedding was really overwhelming. Amanda’s down to earth style and level of knowledge really helped to take the pressure off of us.
  
  We had a long engagement, and were not in a particular rush to get married- in fact, with our back grounds of divorced parents and liberal philosophies- we had some issues about all that the marriage ceremony would represent. Amanda took a lot of time to get to know us and even acted as a sort of counselor to help us to understand what we really valued and wanted in our wedding ceremony. Amanda listened to our input and created a cohesive vision for the wedding. We loved the personalized inspiration board she made for us, and all of the choices about decor and outfits naturally flowed from this.
  
  We felt working with Amanda was a great value because she is very resourceful and well connected. She recommended and put us in touch with really good vendors including our photographer, officiant and florist. Finally, not only does Amanda come up with a vision, but she can deliver! On the day of the wedding she totally took charge and her team took care of everything for us and our guests. We were so happy with how everything turned out, and really impressed with how she just made everything happen.

  We met with several Seattle area planners. Once we met Amanda, we knew we had found the one we were looking for. My husband and I are both professionals and wanted someone who could "take over" that we could trust implicitly to carry out the wedding that we envisioned. Amanda did that and more. Her support, leadership, professionalism and stream-lined organization throughout the process brought so much confidence to us - we were able to breath easy. If you're looking for a thoughtful, open-hearted planner who has her eye on the big picture and also every small detail, look no further. We couldn't recommend her enough!

  You are in good hands with Amanda! She is reliable, networked, organized, and creative. Her time lines eliminated my stress while her "outside the box" artistic style created a traditional and elegant, yet unique, celebration people are still talking about a year later!
