  I worked with Sara at Northwest Fresh. From the start, she was extremely responsive and professional. She allowed us to completely customize our menu and worked with our fairly limited budget to pull together a fantastic event in less than three months. The quality of the food was excellent, and the value was incredible for the DC area. Other caterers could not come close to offering what Northwest Fresh could.

  Tracy and the NWF team were incredible! We tasted over 10 caterers and out of all of them, NWF was the only one with food that rivals some of the best restaurants in DC. Not only was the food amazing, but Tracy was an absolute joy to work with. Over our year and a half of planning we developed a great relationship with her. She made sure every detail was exactly the way we wanted it. She even took the time to meet us at our favorite restaurant to ensure our signature cocktail was matched to perfection. Our guests cannot stop raving about how delicious the food tasted. Thank you Tracy, Rachelle, Max and the entire NWF team for creating the perfect meal for our wedding!

  We absolutely loved working with Northwest Fresh from the first tasting that we had. The food was fantastic, all of the staff was very responsive, and they were able to deal with every last minute change that we had. After our first tasting and meeting, there was no reason to try anyone else.

  Choosing Northwest Fresh Catering for both our food and drinks was one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. We were non-negotiable in terms of having Lebanese and American food served and Tracy and her team were not only flexible with exploring new cuisines, but also incredibly creative with the recipes and service. We were able to taste the food twice before the wedding and give feedback on every part of every dish (though, truth be told, our requests for adjustments were minimal as it was fantastic to begin with!) Our guests still rave about the food, beer and wine options and the friendliness of all the staff involved. Tracy was incredible from day 1 and we couldn't thank her enough for making the process so stress-free and fun. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who asks!

  Tracy and Northwest Fresh catering absolutely made my wedding. They were the first vendor I hired (my husband and I decided on them immediately after our tasting because their food is SO. GOOD.) and Tracy quickly became an integral part of our planning process. We were working on a tight budget with many dietary restrictions (vegetarians, vegans, kosher, gluten free, etc) and various unusual requests (such as an ice cream sundae bar which I highly recommend!) and Tracy had a solution for everything. Throughout the planning process, Tracy and Northwest Fresh were a pleasure to work with. She was incredibly patient, responsive and always had an upbeat professional attitude. Perhaps the best example I can give of how much I came to trust Tracy's taste and judgment is that I left the selection of linens and colors for the dining room entirely up to her and the room ended up looking better than I could have imagined!
  
  On the day of, the venue looked perfect, the food was beautifully presented and delicious (we have gotten so many compliments from guests on the food - especially the amazing appetizers), and the service was perfect. Tracy's wonderfully patient bartenders dealt with our hard-partying guests with a smile and Tracy was somehow able to check on me and my husband throughout the event to make sure we were fed and happy. Tracy and her staff took the stress out of both planning and the wedding day- I cannot recommend them enough!

  Our wedding would not have been the same without Tracy and team from Northwest Fresh. Gary and I wanted excellent, modern yet simple food, and the warm feeling of coming home for our wedding in our back yard in D.C. Every bite, every flower and every design detail were perfection, accomplished on a tight timeline and modest budget. Our chef and wait staff were the best. We cannot imagine a better wedding, and our guests said the same. Thank you Tracy and everyone at NW Fresh!!

  My husband and I spent a lot of time looking for a caterer who could meet our budget needs, and can't believe how much we lucked out with Northwest Fresh. The food is delicious, and unlike many other caterers we encountered, they actually can work with any budget. Tracy and her team were incredibly hands on, and were so committed to making our wedding day the best day possible - even through several menu changes and head count fluctuations. On the day of our wedding, they went above and beyond too - everyone kept asking if I had hired a wedding coordinator because of all the work Tracy and her team did to make sure the whole day ran smoothly! They are just amazing, energetic, easy to work with, and did I mention the amazing food? All of our guests complimented us on it. Thanks so much Northwest Fresh!

  We loved, LOVED Northwest Fresh. We wanted a farm-to-table-type wedding and were so daunted by the cost of other caterers we spoke with. On a whim, I searched The Knot for one dollar-sign companies, and found only a BBQ joint and Northwest Fresh. Further research uncovered some glowing reviews on my neighborhood listserv, and the rest was history.
  
  Our contact at NWF was Tracy, who immediately felt like my best friend--she is so calming and accommodating. I loved that she shared about herself, her family, her life--we instantly related to each other.
  
  Tracy and Rachelle patiently helped us to create an autumnal menu devoid of any standard rubber-chicken wedding fare and highlighting seasonal fare. Upon our first tasting, we knew we loved their style, but didn't taste anything we wanted on our menu. They worked diligently and hosted us for two incredibly generous tastings, tweaking all the while to suit our fancy.
  
  We opted for passed, family-style platters and the entire meal was full of beautiful touches--hints of thyme in the cranberry sauce, corn muffins that guests STILL rave about, succulent pork with a creamy port wine sauce, pumpkin risotto sprinkled with toasted pumpkin seeds; beautiful roasted root vegetables and brussels sprouts. They made everything happen with ease--mulled cider to greet guests as they arrived on a chilly, misty evening, a giant bowl of whipped cream to accompany our guest-contributed pie table.
  
  Tracy was a great support when I encountered some challenges with our original wedding coordinator--she helped me keep perspective and remained unflappable. The staff was adorably protective of me, ensuring I was followed with plates of dedicated snacks and beverages.
  
  I couldn't recommend Northwest Fresh more highly. Their attention to detail, incredible value, and amazing service can't be beat. And I miss Tracy--need to reach out to her for a friendly catch-up!

  I cannot say enough good things about this catering company!!! Tracy from the beginning was an amazing point of contact. The food was delicious and not at all like traditional stuffy wedding food. Everything was so easy leading up to the wedding as well. I felt like every question I asked on if we could do something was met with an "of course" and "we can take care of it" from Tracy and Northwest Fresh.

  Northwest Fresh Catering rocks!! Tracy, Rachelle, and Jessica really worked with us to make sure that the everything was perfect at our wedding, from the table settings to the delicious food! I absolutely loved their food, and they are awesome to work with! I would definitely recommend them.

  Northwest Fresh is a wonderful catering company!!! They are the most reasonable, caring, and flexible catering company I have come across. And their food is a knockout, very delicious and tailored to your desires. Amazing food and amazing service at a great price! They don’t try to push you into predesigned packages or a load of rentals you don’t really need. And they are ready with suggestions for great food and ways to make all the details happen. I can't say enough about how thrilled I was to have them caterer my wedding!
  
  They just catered my wedding earlier in July and I couldn't have been happier. They really care about making your wedding just how you want it and making it the perfect day. The event sales manager, Tracy, was extremely easy to get in contact with and was there whenever I needed her. And on the day of the wedding Tracy made all the little details happen, all in the most discreet and pleasant way. The chef's, Rachelle's, cooking is so wonderful. Rachelle was so flexible with our menu and was so open to making whatever we wanted. And she made the food so perfectly. Rachelle and Tracy are a great team and they made my wedding perfect.

  Working with Rachelle of Northwest Fresh was AWESOME. We planned our wedding from across the country. We initially contacted Northwest Fresh because of the interesting menu, and our first email practically sealed the deal. Rachelle is incredibly detail oriented and flexible, offering seemingly endless modifications based on our wants and needs and budget. Our initial tasting was unfortunately canceled due to extreme weather in July 2012 (no power for days!) but she traveled to my husband's parent's home in Maryland to provide a tasting AND THEN SHE REPEATED THE TASTING FOR US when we visited the area again several months later! The volume of emails exchanged was impressive - she responded promptly to every single request (from 3am requests for menu modifications to night before the wedding dinner start time change) with a thoughtful and pleasant tone. AND THE FOOD WAS GREAT, especially the steak carving station with varying temperature cuts. Multiple guests told us that it was the best food they had ever eaten at a wedding. And all of her catering staff members were energized, professional, and fun. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

My primary concern for my wedding was that my guests really enjoyed themselves and had a delicious meal. After tasting Rachelle's cooking I actually chose a venue that would allow me to use my own caterer. She did such an amazing job helping me decide on my menu and provided a beautiful full menu tasting in her kitchen for my fiancé, matron of honor and myself.   Working with Northwest Fresh was one of the most pleasant aspects of planning my wedding. Tracy, the event coordinator, was always very accommodating and professional. My husband and I wanted something a little less traditional than the typical wedding fare so we went with their fajita buffet option. All of our guests just raved about the food! The menu was enough to accommodate all of the vegetarians and picky eaters in our group and people enjoyed the ability to build their dish exactly the way they wanted.
  
  We also used Northwest Fresh's bartending service and it was wonderful as well. (A warning to lightweights like myself though- the drinks were strong! You definitely get a good bang for your buck!) I definitely recommend this company. My only regret is that now that we're married we can't keep going back for free tastings!

The menu was enough to accommodate all of the vegetarians and picky eaters in our group and people enjoyed the ability to build their dish exactly the way they wanted.
  
  We also used Northwest Fresh's bartending service and it was wonderful as well. (A warning to lightweights like myself though- the drinks were strong! You definitely get a good bang for your buck!) I definitely recommend this company. My only regret is that now that we're married we can't keep going back for free tastings!

  What can I say? Northwest Fresh is some of the best food we’ve eaten, irrespective of it being our wedding! The fresh and local ingredients proved for an absolutely delicious meal, and the variety was key. Top that with their cupcakes (red velvet infused with pumpkin spice and chocolate with dulce de leche) and we were in heaven!
  We worked with Tracy and she was extremely pleasant and patient. On our wedding day, they arrived early, helped with break down and set up, and were extremely well coordinated for the meal. I highly recommend them!
