"Without question Mike Emery and New York Players Group are my go-to music vendors. I recommend them first everytime because I truly believe a couples music vendor must be able to provide the all important trinity of P's- professionalism, price, & performance; 1. Professionalism- do they respond to your calls & emails, are they going to arrive on-time, meet the parameters of your contract and work with your other vendors (venue, photographer,videographer) to ensure your event is perfect. 2. Price- this is not so much about what the band or dj charges as the value for what they charge. What are you getting for what you are spending? When you evaluate the cost of the music vendor are you confident that the price you are going to pay coincides with what you expect for years of experience, overwhelmingly positive endorsements from past clients and professional colleagues, state of the art equipment sound, lighting and performance equipment, etc? 3. Performance- at the end of the day the band has got to get people on the floor. I can say from personal experience that there has not been one event I have worked with New York Players where a guest hasn't approached me to ask how to contact the band for their own event. Great sound, great vocals, great playlists, great look, great band."

100% reccommended!!!!!!!!!!! They made our wedding fantastic! I can't thank them enough for the everything!!!!! I would love to have another party jsut to hire them back! Expensive but well welll well worth it! Wouldn't have went any other way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are busy so the manager of the band was hard to get a hold of at times!

We had a jazz quartet for our wedding reception - and they were AWESOME!!!! Everyone kept commenting on how original they were. They were FUN! I would highly recommend this group.

I worked with the NY Players to provide live music at my wedding: a harp and flute at the ceremony, and a 3-piece jazz band at cocktails. It was a breeze to work with them, and each of the musicians was wonderful. They were recommended to me by my wedding planner, and I would recommend them to anyone as well.
