  Shahida did a phenomal job with my hair and makeup. The wedding was three days and each day, she exceeded my expectations. I was really nervous about this aspect of my wedding, more so than anything. I wanted a look that was formal without being overdone. Shahida and her team helped me accomplish just that. She was flexible and accommodating, expecially when on the 3rd day I was an hour late due to traffic. She did not hesitate to move her appointments to fit me in, realizing that as a bride, I had priority over her other clients. I would highly recommend her.

  I chose her to do my makeup because she offered the kind of bridal makeup I was looking for. It was traditional with a modern edge. She offered a wide array of services that you'd normally have to go elsewhere for. She was very kind to me and told me what I had to do prior to the services. The cost was a bit high and my henna wasn't as perfect as it should have been for the money I paid for it. It was rushed and didn't look professional. But, overall, I do not regret my trip to them as I was pleased with the outcome.

  I am from Toronto and finding a good makeup person for my sister in laws wedding at long island was a challenge. I was very happy New look Salon and Spa. Their service was very good. The makeup was excellent. She paid special attention to details and did everything possible to make us happy. I would rate this place as the #1 place for desi bridal hair, makeup and dressup in new york city
