Excellent DJ for our wedding

Greg was fantastic to work before and during our wedding. I would highly recommend using his services. We did a few phone calls prior to the wedding to discuss the flow of the wedding and music. Greg came early to our wedding venue to get set up and prepared, and everything went so well. Greg relived any stressors we may have had regarding planning. Everyone loved our music! We could not of had a better experience. Thank you so much, Greg!

Great experience!

Greg did an amazing job at our ceremony and reception. He played everything we asked for and we couldn't have been more pleased. He kept people on the dance floor all evening!

Couldn’t have gone better!

My daughter had her wedding at Cross Keys Vineyard in 9/17/22 and Greg was professional and kept the guest engaged and on the dance floor. We literally had to get people to leave the reception to get on the bus when the night was over! Thank you for making this such a memorable experience. He arrived early to set up and everything went smoothly from the ceremony, cocktails, first dance, etc. I highly recommend him.

Wonderful, Wonderful DJ Experience

Greg was recommended by our venue, and we could not have been happier - he made sure to play some of our obscure favs, his timing throughout the night was wonderful, his music choices from the cocktail hour to the late night dancing all captured the vibe of our guests and wedding and he did an incredible job! We are profoundly happy with Greg's DJ services and are so pleased to have had him at our wedding!

DJ Greg is the BEST!

I decided to contact Greg about doing my wedding after I went to another wedding where he was the Dj. He played the most perfect songs and kept the dance floor full all night, so I knew he’d be a great vendor for us, too! He was so easy to communicate with, he was flexible and kind, and he kept our wedding on track and full of life. He even mixed a few songs for me for my dance with my father. Dj Greg is the best! I will be recommending him to any and all brides!

We know this owner from our community so we knew Greg would do a great job. He was very organized and responsive in communications with us.
The day of our event he arrived in a timely manner and had all he needed. Then he was fully prepared to do what was needed to our satisfaction. He is very skilled at choosing music and I especially appreciated his flexibility regarding all aspects of planning and playing at our event. He helped us have a wonderful time!

Greg was amazing to work with! He is professional, kind and fun! I didn't have to worry about anything. He kept the dance floor full! I even messed up a song and he was quick to make the change without anyone even noticing. We are so happy to have found Greg and grateful he was part of our wedding team!

Fantastic DJ! Highly recommend!

We found DJ Connection at a wedding expo and we loved the idea immediately! We were able to discuss our wants and ideas of a DJ and they connected us with someone who perfectly matched all our ideas. The music al night was perfect! We would highly recommend DJ Connections to anyone.

Wedding reception DJ

Thanks to DJ Connection we had a fun celebration at our daughter's wedding! They we're flexible in adding mics for our officiant and musicians at the ceremony a few weeks before the event and very helpful in providing suggestions to help the reception to go smoothly. After some request from us for music for dancing, they did a great job setting the right atmosphere with the music played during the meal and kept everyone dancing the rest of the evening. What a fun evening!

DJ Greg- National DJ Connection

DJ Greg was great! He was very flexible with us as we had many last minute changes to our reception due to COVID. He was also willing to work with us over the phone since we live a few hours away. Everyone was on the dance floor thanks to Greg! We really appreciated his professionalism and expertise. We would definitely recommend Greg to any one looking to hire a DJ in the surrounding area. Thank you Greg for keeping our dance floor packed for the entire night!!

Great DJ!!

Greg was very helpful in helping us plan our music selection and also made great suggestions for various things in our reception. During the reception he read the crowd perfectly and would change the music if things started to wane on the dance floor. We loved that he was not aggressive in trying to make people dance and call people out to the dance floor. We personally don't really like DJs that are super pushy. Greg was professional, kind, and prompt. I highly recommend.

Outstanding DJ! Highly Recommend!

We are so grateful for Greg Tutwiler and National DJ Connection for their amazing work and for helping to make our wedding reception such an incredible experience for us and our family and friends. All had a blast, and we were so happy to see everyone enjoying the music on the dance floor and staying engaged throughout the evening — all because of Greg's excellent emcee work!

Greg took the time to get to know a bit about us and what we were looking for in our reception by setting up two phone consultations--one a few months out, and one final check-in the week before the wedding. Greg then set up the perfect playlists for every aspect of the reception, from dinner and first dances to cake-cutting and speeches--and more dancing! He was very attentive the entire reception, always seeming to put on the perfect song to match the vibe in the hall to ensure all were having fun.

We felt like we truly had the A team in our corner with Greg, and are grateful for his professionalism, attention to detail, and compassion throughout the planning process and on our big day. Awesome Wedding Dance

Working with Greg was a great experience! He was so easy to work with and is very responsive. Our ceremony was outside, and he was very flexible with us to make sure the music and timing were perfect. My husband and I received a lot of compliments about how fun our dance was. We cannot recommend Greg enough! :)

Crowd Pleaser

We had Greg DJ our wedding and I could not have asked for a better DJ. He kept everyone up on their feet as much as possible and played exactly what the crowd wanted to hear. I was so happy with how the night went.

Greg is a talented DJ who eases a bride's mind!

Greg is a true pro in his industry. Before my wedding, he talked me through details, including some things I hadn't even thought about. At the wedding, I got several compliments about the DJ. He knew exactly what to play, when, to keep the guests happy and the party going. Another perk, he worked to find a price that suited my budget. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. Just do it, and check this one off your list. He's extremely personable, and knows his stuff! Thank you so much, Greg!

Greg is an amazing professional who is on his game and needs little direction from the bride/groom. His experience shows in his work. He kept a fun night going with music that the crowd wanted, not necessarily what is the biggest hit today. I think his work far exceeds his price point. I also appreciated his extreme flexibility with the inclement weather. Cannot recommend enough. Thanks for a your service which added so much to our big day.

Greg was by far the best DJ that I have worked with/ experienced at other weddings! He really knew what he was doing and continued to play songs that kept the dancing going and was flexible with taking song requests as well. I highly recommend Greg for any future weddings!

Greg did such an amazing job for my son's wedding and reception! He arrived early, was great to chat with, and played the best dance songs for over 5 hours, including spontaneous requests! Definitely knew how to get us up out of our seats and onto the dance floor! We highly recommend using his DJ service for your event! Do it! :)

These guys were amazing, even though my hubby dropped the ball in communicating with them and even in getting the contract to them on-time. They also rolled with it when I contacted them separately and gave them a Mario Kart soundtrack to go with my surprise groom's cake. My dad served as my day-of coordinator and I put them in touch with each other and it went very smoothly. The DJ read the crowd extremely well; there was only 1 song that wasn't a hit and he completely re-calibrated and it went perfectly the rest of the evening. The ceremony music was great too, thank you! They were so easy, I sent them the timeline for the big day a day or two before and then was able to totally forget about them with no issues.

Greg DJ'd our wedding on October 14, and we cannot recommend him highly enough. He was extremely responsive and helpful in the reception planning, and did just a stellar job at the reception. My wife never left the dance floor, and multiple guests all remarked on how great Greg did. We could not have been more pleased with Greg's awesome work!

Greg was absolutely phenomenal as our wedding DJ! We were planning a Harrisonburg wedding from Chicago which was incredibly stressful, but Greg made his piece of it so seamless! We had two officiants, a musical performance during the ceremony and multiple special events during the reception. Every single piece went off without a hitch. Greg kept the party going the whole reception! We got tons of compliments about him as the night went on. He was great at MCing as well as collaborating and working with the photographer and wedding coordinator. We spoke on the phone and texted several times, he was very attentive and responded quickly. I highly recommend National DJ Connection!

We hired National DJ connection for our wedding and we're very pleased. He handled everything from the ceremony music to the reception exceptionally. Very thorough in the planning and prepared for things we even overlooked like the mic for our officiant. The playlist was great and for everyone involved and he even put up with a strange music request from the bride on the fly. After meeting with him to go over everything once we didn't have to stress over anything else about music it was all handled.

Greg did a great job of keeping the dance floor full. He also helped to keep the wedding on schedule. We scheduled a phone call with Greg prior to our wedding to go over song choices, our preferences, etc. Greg went above and beyond to make sure all of our requests were met. All of our guests complimented our choice of DJ and we would recommend him to anyone.

Thanks to Greg, our wedding was not only well coordinated - but oh so fun!!! Greg was open, caring, and responsive to all our wedding preparation needs, and on the day of the wedding, I was floored by his ability to just "roll with the punches". If you are looking for a DJ that will keep your guests dancing and keep the party moving... then he is your guy 110 times over! I highly recommend him!

Absolutely book Greg for your wedding. He actually listens to your needs and the type of music you want to make your event the best it can be. My now-husband and I received so many complements on the music that was played at our wedding. 5 stars isn't enough for Greg!

DJ Connection was absolutely everything you want from your wedding day DJ! He was extremely easy to work with and willing to follow any special instructions or last minute changes. The last thing I wanted to be worried about on my wedding day was music selection. I didn't have time to create a large playlist or even a do-not playlist which made DJ Connection the perfect choice. I spoke with him on the phone a week before the wedding and listed off several songs that I liked and from there he took the reigns. The song selection during the reception could not have been more perfect! The music kept the guests dancing and engaged throughout the entire reception. DJ Connection was honestly one of the best and most hassle free aspects of my wedding day and I will absolutely be recommending him to anyone and everyone looking for a DJ.

Rusty did a fantastic job as a DJ for both our wedding ceremony and reception. He was extremely nice and professional throughout the process. Before the wedding, he took the time to go over all of our requests and the details of our wedding day timeline to make sure everything went off without a hitch. On the big day, I could not believe how smoothly everything went. Everyone had so much fun as Rusty kept our guests of all ages dancing throughout the whole reception. Some of our guests even commented that they had never been to a wedding where so many people were out on the dance floor all night! We also received so many compliments on the music. Rusty played our requests at just the right times and also had a knack for sensing what to play to get everyone on the dance floor. We all had such a blast, and our expectations were far exceeded!

Greg was an absolute pleasure to work with! We went in not knowing exactly what we needed in terms of music, and Greg really helped us through each step of the process. My fiance and I were uncertain about the reception music, and ended up not having the clearest idea what would appeal to our guests. The reception started out with the music we had requested, but as the evening went on Greg quickly read the crowd. He picked up on what people wanted much better than we had! The evening ended up being a blast, with everyone dancing and having a great time. In addition to the reception, Greg also provided the music for the ceremony. Everything was perfectly timed. Greg did a great job with incorporating all our requests. He also was great with accommodating our last minute changes. Greg did a great job! There was never a dull moment. People danced all night. He knew the right songs to play and everybody enjoyed their evening. He was flexible in the planning process and when we needed to make changes, he was happy to do so.

It was really nice working with a professional like Greg. We corresponded through email and then did a phone call once our wedding was about a month away. My husband and I knew exactly what we wanted and didn’t want and Greg was happy to assist. The ceremony music sounded perfect and my friend who did a reading during the ceremony sounded very clear and loud enough for everyone to hear. Once dinner ended and the dancing began, everyone joined in – from the young kids to 70 year olds. Everyone really enjoyed the range of music played and had sore legs the next day from dancing so much.

Greg was an absolute joy to work with. He was in constant contact, asking me questions and if he had multiple versions of a song I requested, he would send them to me and ask me which one I wanted. I had never even been to a wedding before so was flying blind so he was constantly offering up his own ideas and suggestions to make my big day better and flow better and my guests were super impressed with him and the range of music he played.

Aaron has a special talent, he can feel the crowds emotions pulsating through his veins. He shot amplified music, piercing our souls. There was a synergy between the crowd and our DJ. Aaron energized the crowd filling the dance floor with moving bodies and then fed off that raw power to play what everyone knew they wanted even if they didn't realize it. We brought to him only a few small details we wanted and trusted him with the rest which was perfect.

Greg was absolutely amazing! When we talked before the wedding we weren't sure how much our crowd would be dancing but came day off Greg was able to read the crowd and keep every body coming to the dance floor. Even with time changes throughout the day due to rain Greg was able to keep the flow perfectly. His professionalism throughout the process was a huge stress relief. My day was amazing, with a huge part of that owed to Greg.

Greg from National DJ Connection DJ'ed our wedding a few weeks ago. Every part of the process was an absolute delight. He was organized and responsive during the initial planning stages, and helped put us at ease. Most importantly, he did a fantastic job on the day of the wedding. He helped us out with announcements and scheduling without a hitch, and his music selection was 100% perfect. He played a great mix of styles and genres, which kept a wide range of people on the dance floor. One of our friends told my wife "I was going to go sit down when the DJ played a bad song, but he never did!" Song after song was just right -- people were singing, dancing, and having a blast. Can't recommend Greg and National DJ Connection strongly enough!

We could not have asked for a better DJ with which to work. Greg from National DJ Connection delivered a great night for our wedding party. He paid great attention to the bride's requests, and to the order of the evening. He was willing to his best to provide what we wanted for the evening. Our caterer sang his praises when they found out he would be our DJ. Would definitely recommend Greg to anyone.

It can be a little nerve racking hiring a DJ when you've never seen or heard them work a crowd. Greg and I met ahead of time to discuss options for the music and it was clear to me that he was very skilled and knowledgeable about what to anticipate. He shared his understanding and experience with me and I learned a lot from him. When I chose to hire National DJ Connection for our Corporate Holiday Party, I knew I had made a great decision. I will absolutely be having him DJ our events in the future because he was exactly what we needed for the right price: prompt, professional, polite, and flexible because every event can be different! Greg was fabulous! not only did he keep the night in running on time, he had the dance floor full up until the last minute! While I could hardly believe it was already 9, 10, 11oclock each time he checked in about doing the garter toss etc he did a fabulous job, and I am glad that we didn't run out of time for anything! We hired National DJ connection to provide music for our June 2014 wedding. They were very flexible and helpful especially when we had to add music at the last minute for the ceremony site that didn't have a sound system set up. Rusty was very accommodating for some of my husband's specific music requests and even let my 10 year-old niece sing Call Me Maybe (she was insistent - everyone thought it was cute).

We worked with Greg and he was awesome. He was great about making suggestions, which was helpful since we'd never done this before. We were looking for a DJ who would play the music we wanted to hear, but also knew how to adjust based on the crowd and he did a great job. He also didn't do a lot of talking during the reception, which can be distracting, but did an excellent job with the announcements we asked him to do. He was easy to work with and flexible, given that we had limited times that we could meet with him. We would absolutely recommend him.

We used Greg for our wedding in October. We got married at a vineyard, outdoor ceremony, indoor reception, 170 guests. We were able to use Greg for our ceremony and reception music. He was absolutely fantastic from day 1; reasonably priced, very responsive, provided great suggestion and direction, arrived to the venue at the exact time he said he would be there. We had a healthy mix of guests from ages 5-85 and we had all ages on the dance floor. He was awesome at accommodating my requests (Frank Sinatra-ish music for cocktail hour, "party" music after cutting the cake, NO COUNTRY). He met all of my requests and was so great at reading the crowd. Definitely would recommend using him!

Greg with DJ connection was excellent. Outside of the few requests we had, we gave Greg full reign to choose songs that he thought would best get people dancing. My wife and I weren't sure if we were going to have a lot of dancing at our wedding, but we quickly found out that by the choice of music Greg choose we actually had a lot of dancers at our reception.

Greg also handled the wedding introductions and notifications during the wedding very professionally. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding ceremony and reception.

Greg was so fantastic! We had a very non-conventional wedding (ceremony and reception outdoors). While we planned on dancing and all of that fun stuff, it was just TOO hot. Greg totally read the crowd and just rolled with it. He played the perfect music that was very appropriate for the setting and people, and created this wonderful atmosphere of a laid back summer party. PERFECT! Also, I gave him very last minute instructions and he had no problem adjusting. He even was able to incorporate songs that I had on my IPod. He is wonderful to work with and I highly recommend hiring him.

Greg did such a fantastic job being a DJ at our wedding. Our wedding was under a 30' x 60' tent due to weather the day of the wedding and we got complements on how great the music was and how the volume was perfect for being in a simi-enclosed area. He played the songs that we had asked him to and threw in a bunch of his own. He was prompt in making announcements when we needed him to. Greg was wonderful! My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. We both like a mix of pretty much everything and wanted our guests to be able to really let loose and dance. Greg made sure of that! The song choices were perfect, and he had no problem taking requests from some of my crazy family and friends. He also did our ceremony music which worked out perfectly. I would highly recommend speaking with Greg if you need a DJ. I found his information on the internet, e-mailed him a request for more information that morning, and by 5:00 pm that day he had called and we had booked him as our DJ. Greg was our DJ, and he was the epitome of taste and class. He was willing to make changes even as late as the day of the event (though I don't recommend it!). The music he played was timeless and fun, and he showcased tunes from many different genres and time periods, honoring our questionnaire. You can't do better than this, suffice it to say. Look no further than National DJ Connection; never was finding a high-quality, reliable, talented, canny, diplomatic, and dapper DJ easier.

We had chosen Greg based on online reviews and our budget. He asked for a detailed outline of the wedding (including song preferences, etc) and we had a long phone conversation prior to our event.
He showed up in a timely fashion, everything was ready right at the time of our event. We had a lot of issues with our venue/food which significantly effected the timing of our night--everything from toasts to the first dance to cutting our cake. He, along with our photographers, helped us navigate the problems without any complaint or issue from their end.
He also played great music, took requests from people and played the songs we'd asked for. He was unobtrusive but was clearly in tune with our crowd, who were almost exclusively mid-30s. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, regardless of cost.

We had SO many compliments from guests about how great the music at our wedding reception was! Some said any song requested, Greg had it. Personally I've never been to a wedding where so many guests danced for the entire reception, but ours never stopped! Music is such a huge part of a reception, and we think Greg nailed it. We requested a majority of 80's music since most generations can agree on it. All the other music categories we picked seemed right on track with what we requested (in terms of percentages). We did not use Greg for our ceremony, so I can't comment on that - but everything else was great!!

Greg was wonderful to work with. He was very responsive, answered all of our questions, and was very nice. He played a wonderful mix of music that complimented our day beautifully. He was very professional and honored our requests. I would highly recommend him for your next event!

Greg was extremely easy to work with! He was punctual, responsive, and really kept the party going all evening. We had some weather issues and venue issues but Greg went with the flow and helped us host a great party!

Greg Tutwiler was our DJ and he was wonderful - he had already worked many weddings at Skyland resort in Shenandoah National Park and was experienced with how an event there should work. He was easy going, responsive, affordable, and played songs our guests wanted to hear.

He presented us with a CD of our first song - Cheek to Cheek - and another song that I really liked.

My groom worked with him to provide songs and as far as I know this process was as smooth and painless as possible.

Greg was a great DJ. People danced the whole time at our wedding, and that was really important to us. He was a little slow to respond to emails/ phone calls prior to the wedding, but pulled through and made us his priority a few weeks before our wedding.

Although Greg played good music for my wedding reception, he was not prepared for the specifics we had asked for. A week before our wedding he asked for song requests and special instructions for the reception and failed to follow some of them. My wedding director had to quickly speak with him as we were walking over to the reception because he was not prepared for the entrance song. He also failed to play the majority of the songs that we requested to be played throughout the night. He barely interacted with our guests and didn't complete the Anniversary Dance that we had asked for. The last few songs were not properly announced, and guests were confused when he suddenly stopped playing music. His music was good, but he was poorly prepared!

I utilized National DJ Connection for my wedding in June. Greg the owner and his son worked the event and though it was helpful they were familiar with the venue I wasn't incredibly happy with the service provided. I provided them with specific songs to play which were not played. They started to play the wrong song for our first dance which I had to stop and go over and tell them to play the correct song. I am use to have DJ's that are crowd engaging so I was surprised when they both just stood behind the DJ booth the entire time. There were current songs that were requested by guests that they did not have. I would not use them again and I would not recommend them to others
