Amazing Photographer!!

I was referred to Nathan by a colleague who had his wedding at the same venue as our ceremony location. We were so lucky to find Nathan - he is truly kind, professional and talented. He's great to work with, flexible with scheduling and items/services included in the packages. Nathan really made us feel comfortable during both engagement and wedding day sessions and allowed us to just have fun and enjoy the experience! We recently received all of the albums and prints and couldn't be happier or more impressed!

Nathan shot an engagement photo session for us as well as our wedding day, along with a second photographer.

Nathan is everything you want in a photographer for your life events...he's friendly & professional, great with communication on any questions you may have, and is great at finding shots and suggesting poses for those of us amateur models. ;)

Most of all though he shoots AMAZING pictures! We were so happy with how all of our photos from both the engagement shoot and wedding day! He was able to capture all the action while still having a creative eye to create the most beautiful shots.

Book him! It'll be your best wedding decision!

Nathan is an amazing photographer in every way - he's creative, talented, professional, responsive, responsible, friendly, and funny. Really, I can't ask for anything more. Nathan did our engagement photo session in March 2016 and our wedding photos in July 2016.

When I started this whole wedding planning thing, one piece of advice I received early on was - make sure you hire a photographer that you feel comfortable with, because he's going to be everywhere you are on your wedding day, and if you don't like this person around all the time then it'll show in your photos! So we looked at 6-7 different photographers and narrowed down to 2 finalists - Nathan and someone else. We ended up going with Nathan because from the second we met him, we already felt so comfortable with him like we've known each other for a long time.

Nathan was always SUPER responsive to emails - I'm talking a response within an hour most of the time. And my goodness, he's just so talented. He's definitely an artist. When we got our engagement photos back we were more than pleased with the result. And we just got our wedding photos back last week and MY GOD they are amazing. We love every single photo he took, and the way he tells a story with his photos... it's pure genius. I know he's always challenging himself too to get better, which I appreciate because I wouldn't want to hire someone who is complacent. I'd definitely say Nathan has more of a dramatic and documentary style and not so much the boring posed photography. That's why he's able to capture some awesome shots because he's kinda just always there to make sure all the memorable moments are recorded. My husband and I often call him a ninja because on our wedding day, we honestly didn't know where Nathan was half the time because he wasn't in our face trying to take photos. And yet when the photos came back, they proved that he was everywhere we were!!

While looking for our wedding photographer, we had several interviews before deciding on Nathan. Obviously the first thing that caught our eye was his style and ability to capture the moment in a truly unique way. After that, it was his demeanor and his attention to what we wanted from him as our photographer that caused us to go with him. Another huge plus for us was his straight forward pricing in his packages, we felt that we got a great service at a great value.

We had some ideas of what we wanted for our engagement session, but what Nathan captured for us was well beyond what we expected. All we really told him was the general are that we wanted to have our pictures, and the day of the shoot, he already had a solid idea of what he was going to shoot. Needless to say, we were very happy with our engagement photos, as well as the online hosting service that he provides.

The day of our wedding, Nathan was at the venue with his assistant setting up early and capturing some amazing shots. From the images of us getting ready, to the images of our ceremony, to the images of our guests enjoying the reception; they did an amazing job. When we got to see our images, we were blown away at what we got; you would have thought there were 3+ photographers there by the amount of images and angles they got. We received the final images in a beautiful personalized USB drive in a personalized box, both very nice touches. We did not originally plan on purchasing an album, but based off what we received, we are most likely going to.

I make a point to leave honest, balanced feedback, but I honestly have nothing but great things to say about Nathan Nowack photography. You will not be disappointed by making the choice to have him photograph your special day

We researched several photographers before deciding to go with Nathan. Not only is Nathan an incredibly talented photographer, but he is also an incredibly GENUINE person, which was what stood out to us the most during our meeting. He was so attentive to our needs and made us feel assured that our day would be a success. He never rushed us during our meeting either, which was something we encountered with other photography companies. Just by looking through Nathan’s portfolio, we could see that he had such a one-of-a-kind eye for art. Other photographers can take pretty pictures, but Nathan can take a moment and make it magical through his lens.

On our wedding day, Nathan went above and beyond, arriving early and even staying late! He was also such a pleasant person to work with—he knew exactly how and where to position us and gave easy-to-follow directions. Most importantly, he made us feel comfortable the entire time, not awkward at all! Nathan also edited our photos so quickly (and meticulously) and they were GORGEOUS! He even gave us some preview photos in less than two weeks so we could create our thank you post cards early. All of our guests were impressed with how the photos came out and we loved how Nathan captured all of the moments we missed, especially the little details.

Nathan definitely puts his clients first and his passion for photography can be seen in his work. We had so many “wow-factor” photos from our wedding and we are so happy that we found Nathan. We HIGHLY recommend Nathan Nowack Photography to all couples!!! THANK YOU, NATHAN!

My husband and I were actually referred to Nathan by another professional photographer because of a conflict in his schedule - it says something when another photographer speaks about his peer with the utmost respect and admiration. We are so glad that moment happened because Nathan went above and beyond our expectations. He was very professional and easy to get along with from our first FaceTime conversation on his photography style to actually meeting him in person, he made us feel extremely comfortable and assured that we were going to have an amazing day. He even went to our venue in Las Vegas ahead of time to scope out areas to take pictures in.

The quality of his pictures and his ability to tell our story through them were extremely impressive. We couldn't be more pleased with our entire event, which we will cherish forever and would definitely recommend couples to work with him.

We interviewed a couple of recommended photographers that were recommended for our Wedding. After meeting with Nathan, we were confident that we found the right person for the job.

Leading up to our engagement session, Nathan had been in constant contact via email and text. We had engagement photos taken on the UCI campus. I wasn't too sure about this location, but Nathan had assured my wife and I that this location would suit what we were looking for. It was a fun afternoon and it also gave us time with Nathan to get to know him. He sent us his photos and they came out great. We were excited to see how he was able to capture us at UCI and was able to make it look completely different and like we were at several different spots.

During our wedding, Nathan and his team were polite, professional and fun to be around. Nathan took photos of my wife getting ready with the Bridesmaids and another one of his team shot photos of me and my groomsmen. They got all the great shots. Just before the reception there was time to try and get artistic with the photos and stage a few shots. His team was covering the whole reception and was able to capture all the great moments.

We got a sneak preview of a select few photos and were excited to see how well they came out. A few weeks later we got all the photos and all of our friends and family were really impressed with how they came out.

I couldn't recommend a better photographer for any event!

Nathan Nowack is extremely talented and it was a pleasure to have him shoot my wedding. We just received the pictures and they are amazing. They are worth every penny.

I was really drawn to the photo-journalistic style of Nathan's photography. Since my husband (then fiance) and I decided that wedding photography was going to be one of the most important part (aside from venue) for our budget.

Relatives may claim that they can take great pictures with their SLRs but it is just not the same. There is a world of difference between a professional wedding photographer and your friend or family member with an SLR. We felt that 90% of our wedding is taking pictures. There is no re-wind button to go back and re-capture those important moments. Nathan captured everything beautifully and knew exactly when, where, and how to capture those special moments. He is also has great customer service and is friendly. While we were taking pictures, he made us feel at ease even though we weren't used to being photographed so much.

I also love that you get all of your photos on a USB flash drive so you can have the ability to print your own photos. This is not the case with all photographers and it was one of the most important things for me when searching for a photographer.

I would not hesitate for anyone to use Nathan for your photography. He is extremely professional, talented, and his prices are very reasonable.

Nathan is such an incredible photographer with an amazing eye for art and beauty in all his photos. When my fiance and I first met him we instantly fell in love with his work. The consultation with Nathan was so comfortable and fun that it seemed like we had been friends for a while. His personality is so great and he is such a funny guy that he made our engagement shoot and wedding day more fun and memorable. Even on my wedding day, my bridesmaids were telling me how great Nathan was.

Nathan is great at responding to emails and really helped us customize a package so that we could stay within our budget. He has a lot of great ideas for photos and his creativity is just amazing. I would definitely recommend Nathan Nowack to anyone as I hope to use him again for future events. :)

Words cannot express how amazing this photographer is. He is so unbelievably creative, our photos turned out better than we ever imagines. He is there from start to finish- and the crazy thing is, he got all these amazing photos during the ceremony and reception that I didn't even see him take! His attention to detail is amazing- and we're having a church ceremony next year in Greece(our current wedding was non denominational) and we are even talking about choosing Nathan to capture those moments as well. He will not disappoint. If you're on the fence about a photographer, he will go above and beyond any expectation you might have. He's worth every penny.

Nathan was an amazing photographer to work with! He was reliable, and was usually early to our appointments. I knew that if I booked something with him he was going to be there for sure! He was
always very quick to respond to all my emails, usually responding within the same hour I sent the email. He was friendly and very easy going! He made me and my family feel very comfortable and relaxed. When my mom met him she thought he had been a friend of mine for a while (when we only met months before). All of my bridal party and wedding guests LOVED Nathan! They all told me on multiple occasions how much they loved my photographer and where did I find him! And in the end, the pictures he took were amazing and beautiful! Which is of course the most important part! I will forever cherish the photos he took of the most important day of my life. He is artistic and creative, and always finds unique ways to capture the essence of the moment! I feel very lucky to have had such a fantastic photographer for my wedding and engagement photos! I would HIGHLY recommend Nathan to everyone and I hope to work with him again in the future for anniversary photos and family pictures when we start our own little family!

Nathan was just wonderful from start to finish. He is prompt, professional, friendly and very talented. My family and friends all commented on how much they enjoyed him...not usually something people notice. Nathan was so helpful tailoring everything to exactly meet (and exceed) our expectations. He made the day easy and well organized and got every picture we hoped to have. The only problem is his work is so outstanding its hard to decide which pictures to print! We had no idea how beautiful the day would look in photos. He has a great eye for the best pictures and a true artistic edge. I would recommend him to anyone without a single reservation.

As my recently sprouted gray hairs can attest, planning a wedding can be incredibly, incredibly stressful. I never anticipated being THAT bride. You know, the one with the wedding planner, bridal magazines and season tickets to every bridal show in town.

While I've been excited, my experiences with most wedding vendors have been mediocre at best. After almost a year of planning, I firmly believe that many vendors don't put in the extra service oomph into what they do because being in the wedding business is a no-brainer, slam dunk sale. Sadly, few vendors were as enthusiastic as we were about our wedding. That is, until we met Nathan.

Of all our vendors, choosing to work with Nathan for our complex, trip-filled engagement session and wedding was the best decision we made. From the very first returned call (within 2 hours), I noticed that Nathan was going to be very different. He was upbeat, friendly and very enthusiastic. He suggested fresh ideas we hadn't heard any other photograph make (i.e. being Yelp-obsessed foodies, why not do an engagement session at all your favorite restaurants? Right?!?) and followed up quickly.

We could tell from his portfolio that he had a really good eye for light, color and composition. While he is very talented, what really sold us was his STELLAR customer service. I personally interviewed and vetted over a dozen photographers in both SF and LA and Nathan was the best. I'm not exaggerating when I say that his patience, enthusiasm and attention to detail has not wavered 6 months in and 100+ emails later. Being new to the wedding thing, I had a ton of questions and he answered every one. Then he did it again, again and again. I honestly don't know how he does it with all the clients he's booking.

I recently told my fiance, that I want whatever Nathan is on because he's been the only vendor who has been on a steady valium drip since this whole thing started. In this journey that is wedding planning, Nathan has been a big, bright beam of light and comfort to a very frazzled couple. We just got the photos from our e-session in SF and loved our photos so much and can't wait until he meets us in Cabo San Lucas for our wedding!!!

Nathan, and his posse of fellow photographers, Jeremy Chou and Erich Chen, did an AWESOME job capturing our 3-day wedding in Cabo. Most of the time, we forgot they were working because they fit in so well with our group of friends and family.

It's a great sign when your photographer shows up in some unforgettable photos having as good a time as you are. Through it all, partying at Cabo Wabo, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding day, and his fare share of shots and margaritas, Nathan caught it all and we couldn't be happier with the results. Thanks Nathan!

Nathan has been an awesome vendor to work with. When we were searching for a photographer to shoot our wedding, we knew we wanted someone who was friendly, warm, and just easy to work with. We believed that it was important for us to feel comfortable with our photographer. When we met with Nathan for the first time, we immediately felt like we've known him for years. He is very responsive and goes out of his way to meet our requests. He is very resourceful, which has helped us plan out logistics for pictures, but also very flexible and can adapt to last minute changes. He even went and scouted out locations for our engagement session (we wanted a field of wild yellow flowers). Nathan's passion for photography makes him a perfectionist and he is very creative with angles, effects, and colors. Therefore, what you get is wonderfully beautiful pictures with unique twists. His pictures told the story of our wedding, something we will cherish for years to come. We are so lucky to have him as one of our vendors!

We found Nathan through Wedding Wire very early on in our search or vendors. At that point, we didn’t have a date or venue secured. Although nobody made a bad impression with us for not having replied the first day we sent e-mails, Nathan got our attention when he responded to us on a Sunday night. In fact, Nathan scores off the charts (good) for his always prompt replies to e-mails.
We looked at his work online and my (then) fiancé was impressed. So we set up a meeting. After talking to Nathan for a short time and getting to know him, we decided not to look any further for a photographer. If pictures are worth a thousand words, Nathan’s are worth ten thousand. On top of that, his friendly and professional personality really convinced us not to look any further.
He is also flexible and can work with a range of budgets. Although we knew we were willing to spend a little more money on pictures, we still were not able to go crazy and break the bank. We told Nathan how much we wanted to spend and what we wanted and he showed us that we could make something work.
I also appreciate that Nathan is not only easy going, but puts everyone at ease around him. I spent a good part of my wedding day with him and really appreciated his sense of calm, as well as his wonderful sense of humor.
He is rganized, and checked with us to make sure he got everything we wanted. And lastly, he got us all of our pictures (engagement & wedding) in a very timely manner.

Nathan was simply amazing. Hands down, the best photographer you will ever find. Your wedding photographs will carry memories for a lifetime. You really shouldn't trust anyone else. Nathan and his assistants were great. The photos turned out beautifully, especially the candids. We also had a portrait studio for the guests and I felt the flash created a bit of glare but Nathan was able to adjust the photos. The guests loved the photo studio, we had trouble getting them to sit down for dinner. Nathan was very responsive and fun to work with.

I honestly have nothing but great things to say about Nathan!! Our wedding was in San Diego and Nathan is located in Los Angeles and the service that he provided right up to the wedding day and even after felt like we were in the same city. He is responsive to emails, gives detailed answers, and really makes the experience so relaxing and fun because you know he is on top of things...and of course he takes beautiful pictures!

Nathan was recommended to us by a family friend and booking with him is one of the best decisions we made. For future brides if you are tired of looking around and comparing photograhers I would recommend just booking with Nathan. You will not have to worry about a thing with him. He is seriously the best!

Nathan Nowack is extremely professisonal and responsive to our needs and ideas. He met with us prior to our wedding date and planned the pictures. He arrived early and made sure that every picture that we had planned would be included. Through his eye as not only a professional photographer, but an artist, he was able to capture moments that we could have never predicted that were extremely dramatic and loved by both my husband and me.

Nathan is simply awesome. My wife and I hired him to do our Wedding at Wayfarers' chapel in Palos Verdes last October and we were absolutely thrilled with the results.

Nathan is extremely personable...he makes everyone feel comfortable. He is not one of those photographers that is constantly in your face. He doesn't get lame and goofy either. Most of the time, you hardly notice he's there. He is simply very easy to work with. This quiet "capture the moment" approach resulted in some truly natural pictures that accurately recorded the beauty and joy of our event. (see the black and white photo of my wife and her father moments before entering the church attached to my profile).

Nathan's technical ability behind the camera is surpassed only by his artistic eye for a good angle. He also takes the time to carefully render the photos after the fact, for results that look perfectly life-like. Our wedding day was a challenging situation...an all glass building, on an extremely clear and sunny morning, with the sun cutting in at a low angle (and a couple of pretty pale faces). Yet, with his skill, he was able to get great memories for us. The pictures reflect exactly how beautiful my bride was that day.

Oh, I almost forgot to mention...His prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and attention to detail. You can probably find a few photographers who are cheaper, but he's definitely worth the small difference. I've seen work from wedding photographers that charge three times as much, um, not even as good.

I highly recommend Nathan to anyone in need of a great photographer who wants to capture a once in a life time event.

When we started planning, photography was one of the most important features for wedding planning. After speaking with a few vendors we weren't satisfied with the choices we had until we met Nathan Nowack. Before we met Nathan, we had viewed his pictures online and loved his point of view and style of photography. When the time came to meet him we instantly loved his gregarious and easygoing personality. He asked us a lot of questions and genuinely listened to our story and our vision of our wedding. He had every intent to make sure we were satisfied with our pictures. He even scouted out areas in Honolulu, HI prior to our engagement photo session! I loved that! He suggested places and areas that I would have never thought to take pictures. He was so creative and you could tell he was so passionate about photography.
On our wedding day Nathan was nothing less than amazing. He arrived early and was ready to work. In the morning, he quietly worked while capturing the precious moments when the girls were getting dressed. There is a fantastic picture of my dress he took which everyone comments on! He was almost invisible throughout the day, however we knew he was constantly catching all of the important moments. In the end the pictures he took were amazing and we were thrilled about them! Especially because he was so quick to have them delivered to us in the exact medium requested! Amazing!! Throughout the whole memory Nathan was always willing to listen to our requests, always reachable, and he was honest.
