Mark has been a Family Friend of ours for years, and I was honored to have him be a part of our Wedding Day in Capturing some of those most precious moments in time. I would not have asked for anyone else. He was very professional and caught all the moments that I wanted as well as ones that he thought beautiful too. He also was very calming too...I guess that would be a big plus in a Photographer for the Bride because we all know how hectic planning a Wedding can be, and when you have someone around that can relieve some of your worries on that Big Day is always helpful!! Mark is so down to earth and very fun loving. When we booked Mark Nakamura for our wedding, we got a heck of a deal for him to take our engagement pictures. He took us up to Terrace Hill in San Luis Obispo and the engagement pictures came out beautiful! He took amazing pictures and he was willing to take pictures with poses that my husband and I had kind of made up.

The day of the wedding, he arrived early to scout out the hotel area. It was great. Additionally, he was very nonintrusive, which made me really happy. I didn’t even know he was there, the majority of the time.

A week after the wedding, my pictures were ready for pick up. This was truly a pleasant surprise, as I thought it was going to take months. The great thing about working with Mark is that he not only takes the pictures, but he edits them as well, and you get to keep all of the pictures, to do with them as you wish. For our engagement pictures, I took our favorite picture and got it put on a canvas at Costco and used it at the wedding. I plan on doing the same thing with my favorite wedding picture.

Mark is great and he is reasonably priced!

Mark was such an awesome photographer, with a great, funny, personality. He seemed very quiet when we talked on the phone prior to the wedding, but I was so comfortable with him as soon as I met him, I recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Mark was so much fun to be around. I we were sad to see him leave when he was done with our photos. He did an amazing job and took so many pictures for us! By the time we got back from our honeymoon, we already had the dvd of photos from him!

We called Mark on a very short notice and he came the next day and met us at our hotel to take pictures of our Grandfather. We got home to look at all of the photos and there was not ONE bad photo in the whole bunch!!!! He was calm, professional and open to suggestions. The slideshow disk was available for us to pick up a few hours after we finished the session as well as some 8X10 prints. We would highly recommend him and plan to use him in the future for any event! Great experience :)
