Music In Motion was great with communication up to the day. They checked in every two weeks to see if we needed anything or had any questions. At the reception, the DJ was making sure we were aware of the order of things and made sure we were ready for the next event. Our DJ read the crowd and played the perfect selection of music all the way till the end of the party! My 70yr old grandma even commented on how great our dj was. It was such a perfect day and Music in Motion made the night a fairytale!

I worked with Tim to get everything set up for the wedding and had DJ Ron do our ceremony and reception. Everything about these two was very professional and a job very well done! Ron kept the momentum going all night and everyone had a great time. He was very responsive to my questions leading up to our big day. Tim was also great to work to get all the paperwork and behind-the-scenes information set up.

We had Rich Maggio from MIM DJ our wedding this past weekend and have nothing but good things to say. So many of our guests commented on how great the music was and how much fun they had -- the dance floor was packed the entire night! He was very easy to work with and was very helpful in the planning/selection process of music for the reception. The owner, Tim Hicks, is also great with communication and sent us emails every few months or so leading up to the wedding just to check in and see if we had any questions. We had Tim DJ our wedding from Music in Motion and he was great. He was able to keep everyone dancing for the entire reception and all of our guests were amazed how good he is. Besides controlling the music, he helped me and my bride with where we needed to be throughout the night. Tim worked really well with our photographer, and Lynette from D'Andreas.
Tim also communicated with us from the time we booked him all the way to the wedding. He would send periodic emails to help us out and to remind us to go to his website to pick our first dance songs and other songs that we might want played.
I would absolutely recommend him for any type of event!

After the wedding everyone told us how much fun they had and how amazing our DJ was!! Our wedding just wouldn't have been the same had we used anyone else. He was a DJ that we booked and from day 1 I could just relax as he instilled so much confidence in me in his skills and he delivered on everything he promised!!

Tim checked in on me about once a month after we booked him just to say hello and see if there was anything we needed from him at the time. Sometimes I had things for him and other times I could just say nothing for now, but thanks for checking in!

We had several special requests at the last minute and Tim was happy to do everything we wanted!

One thing I really appreciated was that it was getting close to the end of the night and we had a few "must play" songs that hadn't been played yet because they were on the slower side and the crowd was having so much fun dancing to more of the dance tunes. He found me and asked if I wanted to slow it down a bit to get those songs in or to keep going with the dance vibe. I was happy to just keep the dancing party going, but appreciated that he asked!

Our DJ Rich was great, very professional. We had several pre-wedding phone calls with him to talk about music and style we wanted for the night. He had great suggestions without being pushy. Took requests from friends and family that were appropriate and gave us the ability to make a Must Play, Do Not Play and Play if Possible list.

We saw our DJ at a friends wedding and couldnt pass him by. There was no alcohol served at the wedding and the dance floor was PACKED!! We booked Tim Hicks as our DJ. I couldnt tell you how many people were suprised by the number of people on the dance floor at our wedding. Tim did a great job at feeling the crowd and playing the right songs at the right time. All of my guests completmented Tim throught the night. I would recommend Tim to all couples that like to dance!

What an experience! What Tim did for our very small intimate wedding was genius (65 people)!!! There were people dancing the whole night...THE WHOLE NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved working with Tim from Music in Motions! We were able to go here him at a wedding. He talked to us and made us feel comfortable right away! He also had lots of experience about 10 years in the business. He would also email us every month up to the wedding to see if we had any questions or needed help with anything! He played the music we exactly wanted and helped us create the atmosphere we wanted at our wedding. If a song did not go over well on the dance floor, he changed it imediately! I would defitnately recommend him to anyone else who needs a DJ.
